299 – Has God put a calling on your life?

Have you ever felt a calling from God on your life but just didn’t feel you were qualified, or didn’t have the talents, time, or resources to accomplish what was being asked of you?

Well, you’re not alone. There are lots of people today and even in the Bible who have felt the same way when God called them to their purpose. 

The beautiful thing is, God takes what you have – what He has already given you – even if it seems to be hardly anything, and can use that "little" to accomplish a whole lot.

In this week’s episode I’m talking with Dr. David Laton, about how to use what God has already given you, even if it doesn’t seem like much or enough, to fulfill your God-given purpose.

We talk about folks in the Bible who didn't think they were capable of doing what God wanted them to, but God used the little they had to do great things:

• Moses
• Miriam
• Gideon
• Elijah
• Elisha
• Lydia
• Dorcas
• And of course Jesus, who always knew what he was capable of and used what he had at hand to bless others

God has already given you talents and resources. Even if it doesn't seem like much, God can multiply what you have and empower you to do so much more than you thought you were capable of.
