303 – Who decides what it means to be a Christian?
Have you ever been told by someone you’re not a Christian because you didn’t agree 100% with them on every tiny detail of theology? It’s not a great feeling.
Some churches have a pretty wide and inclusive definition what it means to be a Christian, including people from many different denominations.
Some churches believe they are the only ones with the truth but that God will be merciful to others.
But there are a few churches who believe only their members are true Christians and everyone else is condemned to hell.
Most of these groups make a fatal flaw in how they define what it means to be a Christian.

- I expose this mistake
- Talk about why no one else has the authority to decide if you are a true Christian
- And share what Jesus actually says it means to be one of his true followers or disciples.
Christians need to stop debating what it means to be a Christian and focus more on following Jesus and practicing what he taught us.
