329 – Are you grateful when things don't go the way you want them to?
A lot of folks I’ve been talking to lately are facing some pretty serious challenges. And they don't really think they have anything to be grateful for.
They’re worried about the rising cost of living, if they can pay their bills and put food on the table for their families.
They’re worried about the rising costs of health care. Some folks have lost their jobs and haven’t been able to find work.
Other people are feeling a lot of stress in the political arena, the constant barrage of conflicting opinions on social media, and the threat of violence getting out of hand.
And then like a ray of light piercing the dark clouds, someone facing these or other challenges will pause and express gratitude for all the blessings they do have.
When life gets hard, it’s actually an opportunity, it’s a call, to embrace the spirit of gratitude.
Every day is an opportunity to know and love God more, to love your neighbor and yourself more as children of God, and to be blessing to others. And that is a lot to be grateful for.

Are You A Charlotte?
In 1997, actress Kristin Davis’ life was forever changed when she took on the role of Charlotte York in Sex and the City. As we watched Carrie, Samantha, Miranda and Charlotte navigate relationships in NYC, the show helped push once unacceptable conversation topics out of the shadows and altered the narrative around women and sex. We all saw ourselves in them as they searched for fulfillment in life, sex and friendships. Now, Kristin Davis wants to connect with you, the fans, and share untold stories and all the behind the scenes. Together, with Kristin and special guests, what will begin with Sex and the City will evolve into talks about themes that are still so relevant today. "Are you a Charlotte?" is much more than just rewatching this beloved show, it brings the past and the present together as we talk with heart, humor and of course some optimism.
