Unravel with us, the profound and mysterious narratives that lie within the pages of the world's most revered text: The Bible. Our current series: The book of Revelation Statement of Faith The Bible: We believe the Holy Bible, consisting of the 66 books of the Old and New Testaments, is the inspired, inerrant, and infallible Word of God. It is the final authority in all matters of faith, doctrine, and practice (2 Timothy 3:16-17; 2 Peter 1:20-21). The Trinity: We believe in one eternal God, existing in three distinct persons—Father, Son, and Holy Spirit—equal in essence, power, and glory (Deuteronomy 6:4; Matthew 28:19; 2 Corinthians 13:14). God the Father: We believe God the Father is the Creator and Sovereign Ruler of all things, perfect in holiness, justice, love, and mercy (Genesis 1:1; Psalm 103:19; Isaiah 6:3). Jesus Christ: We believe Jesus Christ is the eternal Son of God, fully God and fully man, conceived by the Holy Spirit and born of the virgin Mary. He lived a sinless life, died on the cross as a substitutionary atonement for sin, rose bodily from the dead, ascended into heaven, and will return in power and glory (John 1:1-14; Luke 1:34-35; 1 Corinthians 15:3-4; Acts 1:11; Revelation 19:11-16). Holy Spirit: We believe the Holy Spirit is fully God, who convicts the world of sin, regenerates believers, indwells, empowers, and guides them into all truth, and seals them for salvation (John 16:7-13; Titus 3:5; Ephesians 1:13; Acts 1:8). Humanity and Sin: We believe humanity was created in the image of God but fell into sin through Adam’s disobedience, resulting in spiritual death and total depravity. All people are born sinners, separated from God, and in need of salvation (Genesis 1:26-27; Romans 3:23; Romans 5:12). Salvation: We believe salvation is by grace alone, through faith alone, in Christ alone. It is a gift of God, not by works, secured through Jesus’ atoning death and resurrection. Repentance and faith are necessary for salvation (Ephesians 2:8-9; John 3:16; Acts 4:12; Romans 10:9-10). The Church: We believe the Church is the body of Christ, composed of all true believers, called to worship God, edify one another, and proclaim the Gospel to the world. The Church observes two ordinances: believer’s baptism and the Lord’s Supper (Matthew 28:18-20; 1 Corinthians 11:23-26; Ephesians 4:11-13). Sanctity of Life and Marriage: We believe human life is sacred, beginning at conception, and that marriage is a God-ordained covenant between one man and one woman, reflecting Christ’s relationship with the Church (Psalm 139:13-14; Genesis 2:24; Ephesians 5:22-33). Resurrection and Judgment: We believe in the bodily resurrection of both the saved and the unsaved—those who are saved to eternal life with God, and those who are unsaved to eternal punishment in hell (John 5:28-29; Revelation 20:11-15). Second Coming: We believe in the personal, imminent return of Jesus Christ to establish His kingdom, judge the world, and consummate God’s redemptive plan (1 Thessalonians 4:16-17; Revelation 22:12-13).

In this episode, we marvel at the scene of the crystal sea that occupies John's great vision here in Revelation 15. The symbolism is very rich and encouraging.
REVELATION 15:2 And I saw what appeared to be a sea of glass mingled with fire—3 And they sing the song of Moses, the servant of God, and the song of the Lamb, saying, “Great and amazing are your deeds, O Lord God the Almighty! Just and true are your ways,...
IN THIS EPISODE, WE BEGIN TO CONSIDER Revelation chapter 15-16 which is the narrative of the Seven Bowls of Wrath.

REVELATION 15:1 Then I saw another sign in heaven, great and amazing, seven angels with seven plagues, which...
IN this episode, we consider the very sobering scene of the last day of earth's history, presented in the dual metaphor of harvest and vintage. This final moment of history brings us to the end of yet another of John's unfolding cycles of visions while on the isle of Patmos.
Revelation 14:14 Then I looked, and behold, a white cloud, and seated on the cloud one like a son of man, with a golden crown on his h...
In this episode, we consider more of Revelation chapter 14:6-13
"Then I saw another angel flying directly overhead, with an eternal gospel to proclaim to those who dwell on earth, to every nation and tribe and language and people. 7 And he said with a loud voice, “Fear God and give him glory, because the hour of his judgment has come, and worship him who made heaven and earth, the sea and the springs of water.”

In this episode, we consider more of Revelation chapter 14
"Then I looked, and behold, on Mount Zion stood the Lamb, and with him 144,000 who had his name and his Father’s name written on their foreheads"
Why is that the Book of Revelation has two accounts of the 144,000, and how are they different?
The comparison between the 144,000 of Revelation 7, and the 144,000 of Revelation 14 is the theme for this episo...
In this episode, we transition to chapter 14 of the book of Revelation. We begin our episode where the text does:
"Then I looked, and behold, on Mount Zion stood the Lamb, and with him 144,000 who had his name and his Father’s name written on their foreheads"
The obvious first consideration is, "What is Mt. Zion?"
The subject of "Zionism" is extremely controversial in our culture today...

AI will quickly become a substitute for God on a very practical level in the culture of our day. But can there be any replacement for God at any level of the Christian life? One example is in the realm of communication with the Divine, otherwise known as prayer. God takes His time and answers in His way, while AI offers immediate answers (along with "emotion support" "relational interaction", ...
In this brief "one-off" (away from our Revelation series) we examine the question: "Was the thief on the cross actually saved?" Jesus promises him a home in Paradise, so we certainly assume that he is a redeemed man. But can it really be as easy as all this?
Is this not "easy-believism"?
We address this perplexity in this episode.
If you wish to contact me with any comments, questions, su...

In the midst of dealing with the monsters of Revelation 13, there is also another monster who may abide yet closer and who haunts us by his constant, dark presence - that's the MONSTER OF SHAME- personal, whithering shame in our lives, as a result of previous, sinful behavior.
Is shame to be eradicated from our lives altogether? Or is it possible that there is a beneficial, even productive result that can aris...
