Despite his lack of eyesight,Joe is an incredibly talented
country western musician andvocalist.
(02:24):
Like many I work with, Joe wasdealing with deeply entrenched
generational curses which ledhim to seek my help.
He had demons.
You are really going to enjoythis interview.
I encourage you to share itwith anyone you know who loves
country music or anyonestruggling in life.

Speaker 3 (03:32):
So glad to be here,
Justin.
Thanks so much for having me,brother.
I really appreciate it.
Speaker 2 (03:36):
I appreciate you
taking the time out of your
schedule to come on and shareyour amazing story with
everybody and, like I mentionedin the intro, joseph is an
amazing musician, very gifted, and he's got a gospel album
(03:57):
coming out soon, so you'll wantto check that out.
But we're really not here totalk much about his country
career, although we will touchon it.
We're here to talk about hisexorcism experience and it's
important.
(04:18):
I'm excited to have you here, joe, because it shows people
that, yes, even musicians canhave demons.
I think most people know thatthey look around and they see
things, the lifestyles andeverything of no matter what
genre, that there are demonsheavily involved in people's
(04:41):
lives.
But there are musicians who youmay not think would have demons
and I dare say Joe would be oneof those musicians.
Remember, it always starts backin childhood Almost everybody
that I work with each client thechildhood always.
(05:04):
I work with each client, thechildhood always and the
generational curses, and Joe'sno different.
So we're going to jump in hereand talk some about Joe's
childhood.
We're going to talk some abouthis blindness and, by the way, I
(05:24):
had somebody tell me one timethis is pretty funny actually
they said I'm so happy thatyou're helping blind people.
So this person's perception andGod bless them that me the
blind exorcist okay, that I'monly helping blind people get
rid of their demons, helpingblind people get rid of their
(05:51):
demons, so that's hysterical tome and I'm sure Joe's laughing.
I have him muted right now.
But everybody I work with issighted.
By the way I've had thepleasure of serving Joe, he's
blind and another young ladythat was blind, but out of those
two, every client I've everworked with has been sighted.
Just for the record, let'sstart back Joe in your childhood
(06:12):
and let's flush this out alittle bit.
Joe was born and lost hiseyesight very I believe it was
at birth, joe, you can recapthat but he had a sighted
younger brother that was favoredand this brought a very
traumatic dynamic into Joe'slife as a very young child.
(06:36):
And so I just want to come overto you, joe, and I'd like for
you to just share with us alittle bit about your childhood
and how this really unfoldedhere the dynamic of your
blindness in comparison to asighted sibling, and the
(06:56):
relationship and the dynamicsall around that and how that
impacted you.
Speaker 3 (07:02):
Sure man.
So, yeah, I was born actuallythree months premature and I
have a condition calledretinopathy of prematurity.
And when I was probably aboutsix or seven years old, my
brother, scott, was born, and Idon't know that I would say that
he was favored, because both mymom and dad were very loving
parents and my dad my dad's oldschool he's a he was a strict
(07:23):
parent but really good dude.
I think it was just easier forhim to include my brother in
things that he liked to do,because, because of my blindness
, he didn't really know how togo about teaching me how to do
those things Number one andnumber two.
It was things that I wasn'tinterested in.
(07:45):
So my dad and I share a mutualstubbornness and, as well as a,
we're interested in what we'reinterested in, and was never
really interested in music andcomputers, just like I was never
really interested in huntingand golf.
So it just so happened that mylittle brother was, you know, so
as a young kid.
(08:05):
I don't know that it affectedme a lot, but as I got older and
as I was a teenager I thinkthat's really when it started to
hit me that dad's really notinto what I'm into, and just
like I am not interested in whathe's doing, he's not interested
in what I'm doing, and I always, in the back of my mind, wished
(08:26):
that he would take an interestin what I was doing.
So as a teenager, I felt alittle bit rejected there.
And then, after I graduatedhigh school, my dad really
wanted me to go to college, andhe wasn't the only one pushing
me, but he definitely was sayinghey, you know what you need to
(08:46):
be able to have some kind ofdegree, especially being blind
and stuff like that.
And so I ended up going to theUniversity of North Dakota.
I'm from North Dakota, and so Iwent to the University of North
Dakota for a while, and thething of it was is, when I went
there, I didn't really have alot of orientation and mobility
training at all, and that justmeans getting around campus and
(09:07):
stuff like that.
And so I didn't last very longthere at all, probably a couple
of months.
And I vividly remember comingback home and my dad coming into
the room I was in and justsaying what are you going to do
now?
You blew it, you went and peedthis down your leg and you know
I just I don't even know what tosay or what to do.
(09:29):
And that really affected mequite a lot because I thought,
well, does he believe in me andwhat I want to do?
And I remember telling him notthis time, but a little while
later we were having anotherconversation I said I really
want to write music, I've gotthese songs that I want to write
and try to get into the musicthing.
And and even then he was likeyou need to get a nine to five
job and you know, you can't justbe relying on this music.
It's not going to get youanywhere, and this and that and
(09:50):
the other.
And so again there was thatfeeling of rejection hey, I'm, I
really think I have somethingwith this.
And my dad said you need to dothis instead of that, because
it's not going to happen.
And although that also made memore determined, I think that's
where I get it, get mydetermination now.
(10:11):
When somebody says, oh, youcan't do that, not only do I do
it, but I do it tenfold and I doit very well.
Back then it really hurt me,but now that it fuels my fire
when people say things like that.
Speaker 2 (10:23):
I think one thing and
thank you, joe, for sharing
your life here.
This is good.
People don't understand thatmusicians are real people with
real pain and real rejection.
And in Joe's case this startedvery young between him and his
father.
Young boys and teenagersrequire and deeply desire the
(10:48):
approval of their father.
This is just simple psychologyand for the majority of Joe's
early years and teenage years hewanted his father's approval
and he was not getting it in theway that he needed, which was
the music.
(11:09):
His father could have supportedhim in that and boosted his
support with that, but he didn't.
It was you're going to have anine-to-five job.
This is never going to work.
You're going to have anine-to-five job.
This is never going to work.
So the rejection was early onand a lot of you listening have
(11:33):
had very deep rejection fromyour parents or the single
parent that raised you, or maybeyou were even adopted and have
felt rejection around that.
This is a very common situationthat demons leverage to enter a
person Rejection andabandonment Because if you're
(11:54):
rejected and abandoned, satanwill come there and fill that
void for you.
He absolutely will fill thatvoid for you.
If you're rejected, he canbring you as many lovers as you
want unlimited.
And every time you sleep withsomeone, bam, more demons.
(12:15):
You feel abandoned.
Not a problem, here's somecocaine or, in Joe's case, a
fifth of Jack, and we'll getinto that in a little bit.
But I think you understand mypoint.
Those of you who have beenrejected deeply the trauma is
still there, it's not healed andthrough that rejection
(12:36):
oftentimes comes demons.
And it doesn't matter.
People can take rejection anddo something constructive with
it, but it's still torment.
For example, workaholism it'san addiction.
Doesn't matter that you'remaking a million dollars a year,
working 70-hour weeks orwhatever.
(12:57):
The bottom line, what's drivingthat is your trauma.
That's not resolved.
It doesn't matter that you workout and you have the perfect
body, you still don't loveyourself because of the
rejection from your father oryour mother.
So as a way of compensating forthat trauma, let's work out and
(13:17):
be the best that I can be.
That doesn't always have to bea bad thing, but it is when it's
fueled by rejection, becausedemons are there almost
inevitably.
They love the pain, they fuelthe anger, they fuel the
resentment, they fuel the hatred.
(13:38):
That's just what they do.
So I just wanted to touch onthat a bit because really this
is where it started in Joe'slife and we'll get into the
exorcism eventually down theroad but it started between him
and his father and for many ofyou it's the same.
It might not be between you andyour father, it might be
(14:01):
between you and your mother oryour stepfather or your
stepmother or whatever the casemight be, but it started early
and it's impacted your decisionsin life and it's impacted you
in very negative ways.
Joe, let's touch on how you gotstarted as a musician and then
(14:23):
eventually we'll get into theFifth of Jack, which was your
go-to.
Mine happened to be CaptainMorgan.
I was drinking a gallon a weekto try to cope with the trauma
inside of me and you can hearthis in episode one, my
testimony, my story Overcomingthe Darkness.
(14:44):
If you've not heard it, Iencourage you to listen to it.
But, joe, when did you firststart getting into music?
I know at a young age, butthere was a certain point of
time where you realized that youcould actually start making
money from being a musician.
Can you tell us a little bitabout that?
Speaker 3 (15:03):
Yeah, sure man,
musician.
Can you tell us a little bitabout that?
Yeah, sure man.
When I started getting intomusic, when I was about three
years old, my grandpa was amusician.
He played in bands around NorthDakota and Minnesota and he was
the one that really got meplaying and singing folks like
Hank Williams and Merle Haggardand stuff like that.
But when I realized I couldreally make some money at this,
I had this was right.
(15:24):
After, actually, I dropped outof college, I went to, went from
North Dakota to Arkansas, really got as far away as I
could from North Dakota and andI had a buddy in school that had
said, hey, there's a little bardown the street and I've been
playing music there on Tuesdaysor Wednesdays or whatever day it
was.
And I was like, really, you cando that around here.
(15:46):
And yeah, I just went in andasked him.
And so I thought, well, I'mgoing to try that out too.
So I went down to the bar and Iasked him hey, my buddy says
he's been here playing music.
What do you think?
Can I get on stage for a littlewhile?
And yeah, they said, man, thisis where I need to be.
And ever since then I've justbeen doing my own independent
(16:09):
thing and, yeah, it's where it'sworked out.
It's worked out rather well forme.
I'm not a huge moneymaker oranything like that, but I'm able
to feed my family and that'swhat matters.
Speaker 2 (16:19):
That's cool.
That's cool, and I believe theschool you mentioned you were
down at was it the Hadley Schoolfor the Blind.
Speaker 3 (16:27):
I think now it's just
called World Services for the
Blind, but back when I was thereit was called Lyons World
Services for the Blind and Icompleted their customer service
course down there and playedsome music while I was doing
that and then went back again ayear later to take an IRS course
, and the reason that I didn'tcomplete that was because of the
music.
Speaker 2 (16:48):
So eventually you
wind up down in Tennessee.
I believe you were down inNashville, the country central
hub down there.
How did you wind up headingdown there?
Speaker 3 (17:03):
That's a long story,
man, to go from Arkansas to
Tennessee, because I was about19 years old in Arkansas and I
wasn't until I'm 40.
I'll be 42 this year and Imoved to Nashville only three or
four years ago.
So what happened was I startedplaying music in Arkansas and
then came back to Fargo, northDakota, where I'm from, and
(17:26):
started booking shows in NorthDakota and playing around there
for quite a while.
I ended up getting some reallygood opening gigs and toured
with David Allen Coe and CraigMorgan and really just I was
truly blessed.
Of course, back then I wasn'treally praying to God or into
Jesus or anything like that, andyet he was still blessing me
(17:49):
and I know that now.
But I was married for a coupleyears as this stuff was all
going on, and to a woman thatwas deeply involved in
witchcraft and things like that,and there's that's a whole
nother thing we could get into.
But after we, after I finallymustered up the courage to get
out of that situation, I got myown place.
(18:13):
I was probably about 30 by thistime got my own place and really
started drinking more heavilythan I already was, which was
pretty heavy indeed.
I was up to a liter a day forquite a while between vodka and
whiskey, and I broke down onenight and I just started praying
to God.
I said, lord, there's only onegirl that I've ever met that I
(18:37):
knew was the one for me and ifit's possible for you to bring
her back to me, I'll doeverything I can to stick with
you and stick with her and doright by her, because she was an
amazing girl.
Her name is Leanne.
She's my wife today.
We've been married for 10 yearsnow, but thankfully, god is
always listening and he's alwaysthere, and he definitely
answered my prayer in thatregard, because I'll never
(19:00):
forget it.
It was my birthday, july 14th of2000.
I want to say 2011.
She called me just out of theblue and she actually got ahold
of me on Facebook and we calledeach other and that was it.
We both knew that that was it.
She came up and saw me a coupleweeks later and we started
hanging out after that and shereally had a rough road with me
because I was like I said, I wasa big drinker and it was hard
(19:22):
for me to quit.
I've been through multipletreatments, all voluntarily.
I never got in any trouble oranything like that with alcohol.
But, and you know, nothing everworked for me.
And finally, with her I kepttrying and kept praying about it
and pretty soon I'd go a coupleof weeks and then I'd go a
month without it, then I'd gotwo months, then five months,
(19:43):
then now I'm proud to say I'mover five years sober now and
feeling great.
But it was a rough road.
It was a rough road and if Iwouldn't have had her and I
wouldn't have had the Lord Jesusin my life, definitely wouldn't
have been able to make ithappen, because I was I was a
drinker buddy, that's for sure.
Speaker 2 (19:58):
Yes, and I can relate
and thank you, lord, for your
mercy and freeing Joe and myself.
Lord, and many of you listeninghave had addictions that the
Lord has freed you from, andsome of you listening still have
addictions.
You can't shake them and you'relike there's no way.
This is demons.
You're like I got this.
(20:21):
Tomorrow's a new day.
You guys remember that pattern.
Tomorrow's it man, this is itfor me.
Tomorrow's it.
I'm starting clean.
I got this but I don't havedemons, even though I keep doing
it over and over.
But absolutely have demons, even though I keep doing it over
and over, but they'reabsolutely.
There's no demons in mecompelling me to addiction.
That's crazy, there's no way.
Uh-huh, we'll talk about thatin a little bit, but just a
(20:43):
couple of things to point outhere.
With Joe, his first wife was inthe Wicca.
That contributed more towardhis possession and the
alcoholism definitelycontributed to it and it's being
layered up here on Joe.
He's being layered up, startedin his childhood with the
(21:04):
rejection, first wife into Wicca, then the alcoholism.
Then he meets his wife, leanne.
She's a saint, she's wonderful.
I've had an opportunity to meether.
And eventually then, joe, likeyou're saying, there was a lot
going on here between NorthDakota, arkansas, but you wind
up down in Tennessee.
(21:25):
And what happened down inTennessee?
Speaker 3 (21:29):
Yeah, how I got there
was in 2015,.
I was on a television showcalled the Voice and after we
spent a couple years doing NorthDakota, south Dakota, minnesota
and around where we live we'replaying around here because
that's where a lot of my fanbase is I decided you know what
we really need to get down toNashville and see if we can make
(21:50):
this thing happen.
And I had stopped drinking bythis time completely, and
because I knew that if I wentdown to Nashville and I was
drinking anything at all, it wasjust going to be complete chaos
, because Nashville is adrinking and drugs kind of place
, at least where I was at andthat's not to say that there
(22:10):
aren't people that don't, butit's definitely prevalent down
there, as it is in any big cityand we got down there and I
started playing a lot ofdifferent bars down on Broadway,
had a great time, met wonderfulpeople and had a lot of fun.
But, of course, 2020 hit.
We were down there at the endof 2019.
(22:30):
I think we got down there inOctober and by March of 2020,
the pandemic came into play andthat really changed the whole
game for everybody and westarted coming back up here for
the summers and touring up here, because things weren't as crazy
up here in Minnesota, northDakota, as they were down there.
But I was able to write a songin 2020 that really hit big in
(22:54):
21, called I Will Not Comply, and that really is what enabled
us to get out of Nashville.
Because what you find outquickly when you meet with
record labels and bigger peoplein Nashville is that there's
always a price to pay for fameand there's always a sacrifice
(23:16):
that needs to be made, and it'sjust not a game that I'm willing
to play, whether it'ssacrificing the integrity of my
music or sacrificing myChristianity.
And people think that's a bunchof hogwash.
Oh, they don't know.
They don't really worship thedevil in the music industry.
It's not really the way it goesand to an extent, they're right
(23:37):
.
Some people don't worship thedevil, but you have to remember,
is satanic worship is notreally about worshiping the
devil.
It's about worshiping self.
If you go back to AleisterCrowley and his Thelema and all
this stuff, do what thou wilt ispretty much the basis of all of
it, and that's definitely thecase in the music industry.
If you want big time, fame andfortune and all that stuff,
(24:02):
there is a price.
You pay for it, and I'm notwilling to pay that price and
got out of there as quick as Icould because I knew that
they're.
Number one I could make moremoney up here at home and be
with family.
And number two I'm just notwilling to sacrifice my
(24:23):
integrity or myself or my familyfor a little bit of money and a
little bit of fame.
It's just not worth it.
And plus, when I got on theVoice in 2015, I had a little
taste of fame, a very littletaste, and it's just not my deal
.
I'm a very extroverted person.
I love people to death.
I love helping people.
I really genuinely care aboutpeople.
But being blind and beingpulled in multiple directions
(24:48):
physically and mentally andemotionally gets taxing very
quick.
And I don't even know thatbeing blind, I think being
sighted it probably gets taxingas well.
Fame is it's easy for people tosay, oh, if I was famous, it'd
be great, because I'd never haveto worry about anything ever
again.
But the reality of it is, man,it gets old fast.
You're constantly bombarded byeverything and you really don't
(25:14):
have a lot of time to just beyourself unless you make it and
by make it unless you make thetime.
That's not my deal.
I'm very appreciative of allthe fans that I have around the
world, but I'm awfully glad thatI can walk to the grocery store
without being completely justharassed and have a camera
shoved in your face and all thatkind of stuff.
(25:35):
Completely just harassed andhave a camera shoved in your
face and all that kind of stuff.
Speaker 2 (25:37):
It's not fun for me
at all.
Yeah, I think that's a validpoint, that you really don't own
yourself.
When you're famous, you areowned.
They tell you what to do.
You're going to be here thisweek.
You're going to be there nextweek Go.
And in many ways it boils downto money.
And in many ways it boils downto money.
And Jesus Christ said it bestin the Bible you cannot serve
(25:59):
two gods, either you will hatethe one and love the other.
You cannot serve both God.
And the key word he said in theKing James mammon money.
Mammon is actually a demon andit is responsible for a lot of
(26:21):
things.
Mammon is a tyrant.
He will work you to death foryou to make money, and when he
wants to pull the carpet outfrom underneath you and shatter
your life, he'll do it in aninstant and then convince you to
kill yourself.
This is Mammon.
He's also responsible forpoverty, keeping people in
poverty, living from check tocheck.
Yes, I get it.
People make poor life decisionsand it costs them.
(26:44):
Yes, but many of the clientsthat I work with have a curse of
poverty on their life becauseof mammon, an ancestral curse.
Joe, really, you realize thatthis just isn't for you.
This isn't for you.
You love music more really thanthe fame and your fans and
(27:06):
helping people, and I will linkto Joe's YouTube channel on this
podcast in the notes, so feelfree to check it out.
He's got a tremendous voice.
He's a great entertainer.
You should watch him on theVoice.
You can tell instantly he'sgifted as an entertainer.
He just pulls people in verynaturally.
(27:27):
He's very comfortable with itand it's a gift from the Lord,
so it's awesome.
But in spite of all of this, there came a time in your life,
joseph, that you said somethingis not right, something is off.
(27:48):
Have you ever said that friendthat's listening.
Have you ever sat up one day,or out of bed, getting up in the
morning, or maybe when you layyour head down at night?
Something is not right, something is off, something is
off.
Joseph had that moment and hethought to himself I have demons
(28:11):
, I need help, demons, I needhelp, joe.
When was that that you came tothe realization that perhaps
what?
Speaker 3 (28:23):
you're suffering is
demons Again.
It's a long story, justin, butwhen I got back from Nashville,
I had things happening to methat were just unexplainable and
weren't me per se justunexplainable and weren't me per
se.
I, my mind, felt very cluttered.
And then, at one, what reallygot me praying and wondering
(28:46):
what was going on was I was onmy phone one day and it was
plugged into the wall and myphone electrocuted me, and when
I pulled it away from my ear, there was immediately a lump on
my ear that had never been therebefore.
I had no idea why it happened, but for some reason I knew in my
mind that it was cancer, and itscared me to the core, because
(29:07):
my dad had been dealing withcancer, has been dealing with it
for a while, a couple yearsbefore this and it just.
It really freaked me out, and Iinstinctively knew that what I
needed to do was pray.
And as I started praying, theLord started letting these
demons come through and revealthemselves to me, so much to the
(29:30):
point where I could hear in mymind kill yourself, you need to
kill yourself because now youhave cancer and you need to
figure out a way to get somemoney for your family and then
you just need to kill yourself, because what else are you going
to do?
And I knew that wasn't me.
I am not a.
There was a time when I wasreally heavy into alcohol that I
(29:52):
tried to take some pills, butagain, that wasn't me either.
And this I was sober and I was.
I just knew I'm going.
This is crazy.
Am I going crazy?
That's what I thought.
So I knew the only thing that Icould do was just pray as hard
as I could, and so I startedlooking into different people on
YouTube First.
I started first.
(30:13):
At first I was like, okay, I'mnot doing this, this is not
happening, I'm not going to killmyself.
But it was so insistent thatfinally I gave in and I thought,
okay, I need to figure out away to make some money then, if
I'm going to do this.
And so I went on YouTube andstarted looking up black magic.
If you can believe that justit's insane to sit here and say
that is, I think, wow.
(30:33):
But this is what I want peopleto understand is that the this
is the pull and the power thatthese demons can have over you.
And thank God and I mean that, thank the Lord Jesus.
Above that, he was with me theentire time and pointed me to.
The first person he pointed meto was a guy by the name of John
Ramirez who was very involvedwith Satan and Satanism and
(30:59):
stuff like that and got out ofit and I watched his videos and
in turn I was pointed to VladStaffchuck and Isaiah Saldivar
and, of course, bob Larson.
And boy, let me tell yousomething, you know that those
prayers, all the deliverancestuff that they had on their
channels, this saved my life sodramatically and I just kept
(31:23):
praying and I was reading allthese books about deliverance
and I got into people like DonDickerman and when I found Bob
Larson is when they reallystarted to fight, fight for me.
And they're like, no, he, thisguy.
The things that would gothrough my head oh, this guy's a
quack, this guy's crazy, thisguy's.
And I hadn't thought this stuffwith anybody else.
(31:45):
But when it came to Bob, it waslike, oh, this guy's, just he's
out of his mind.
So I kept sticking with theseother folks Isaiah, vlad, stuff
like that, derek Prince andlearning their prayers and
saying their prayers, and Ieventually started having dreams
(32:06):
.
The Lord gave me dreams aboutsetting myself free and I can go
into that more if you want, butthe bottom line is I was
praying so hard every day andfinally, I'll never forget it.
I was sitting on my couch andyou and I both know, justin,
that a lot of times when demonsare expelled, it's coughing,
(32:27):
burping, vomiting, that kind ofthing.
And I sat on my couch there andI let out the biggest belch.
I could feel it come from thepit of my stomach and I felt
these things leave me and I feltthe Holy Spirit bring his heat
in and fill that void and it wasthe most amazing, amazing
(32:52):
feeling that I've ever felt.
And at that point I just wentwow, it worked.
The Lord really loves me andthis is happening for me.
And I felt up to my ear wherethat lump was and it was 100%
gone.
I'd still I still check once ortwice a week just to make sure,
because it was a really scarything for me.
(33:14):
But yeah, I've had no sign ofit or anything like that.
And since then I want to behonest with people too.
I was a big weed smoker andstuff like that.
I was smoking hash oil, notweed straight up hash oil, and
so I had to get off of that.
I got myself out of that for awhile, but I backslid and that
does happen, and I don't want tosay that to make an excuse for
(33:36):
somebody to go back to theiraddictive behavior.
But I want you to let peopleknow that Satan's biggest
deception is guilt, and he'llguilt you into going farther
than you need to.
I could have just taken onelittle hit of weed and went no,
I don't want to do that.
(34:03):
But the guilt that came over mewhen I backslid is what drove me
into smoking again andthankfully, once again I prayed
and the Lord was kind enough toshow me these demons again, to
the point where they startedattacking me and I heard them in
my dreams.
Then they would say we love you, don't do this.
We love you, we want you tostay, we need you to stay, and
that's all it took for me.
When you hear that and you knowthat you're not crazy, you know
(34:24):
that you need to get back withthe Lord and get back with the
Father, son and Holy Spirit, theblessed Trinity, and thankfully
, once again they saved my lifeand I just I'm forever grateful
and I tell God that every day Isay Lord, jesus, I know there
are a lot of people that havemet you and you've shown
yourself to, and all I want todo is you know, I've never seen
(34:45):
you before.
All I want to do is just giveyou a huge hug and tell you
thank you, because without yourlove and without your you know
never-ending compassion andstrength, I wouldn't be who I am
today, and it just brings tearsto my eyes to think of not only
how he saved me, but how manytimes I went against him, and
(35:05):
he's still right there for me.
Speaker 2 (35:08):
Amen.
Thank you, jesus, for mercy andfor freedom.
Joe gets involved withdeliverance because he's hearing
voices in his mind compellinghim.
The key word here is compellingcompulsion.
You have anything in your mindthat compels you, my friend,
listening Compulsion, compellingdemons.
(35:29):
So Joe is resisting this andit's so strong that he's almost
going to give in to it.
He finds Deliverance Ministries.
They don't like Bob Larson, they don't like any Deliverance
Minister.
But Dr Larson's been doing thisfor oh my gosh, 40, 50 plus
(35:50):
years, over 50,000 exorcisms.
He knows what he's doing, plusyears, over 50,000 exorcisms.
He knows what he's doing.
And I remember, joe, you firstheard me, I think, on Dr Bob
Larson's YouTube channel andyou'd reached out because you
were so excited you had justbeen through deliverance,
self-deliverance, and I said youmay require more.
(36:11):
And at that point you said youwere okay.
But a year later you got back ahold of me and you said I think
you were right.
Now this isn't a matter aboutme being right.
This is just based onexperience.
I knew that there had to bemore there than what Joe had
(36:36):
handled with him and the Lord.
There had to be some morelayers here.
I just know that based onexperience working with people.
So eventually you did come backaround.
You're like, hey, man, I needhelp.
And that is when we got intoactual exorcism not praying on
your own, repeating prayers andthe Lord did deliver you from
(36:57):
whatever that was.
But there were many layers toyour story, to your demonization
, to your possession.
There were many layers anddemons hide secretly in the
background.
They're very strategic and Joehad quite a few silently in the
background and they neededconfronted.
(37:20):
And so eventually Joe doesarrange a meeting with me.
Eventually I pulled in anotherexorcist to assist and we had
three or four sessions with you, joe, to expel these demons.
They were generational, theywere there from birth and they
(37:40):
were tormenting him in hisdreams.
They were tormenting him.
He was having paranormalphenomena in his life where he
would wake up and there wouldjust be all this paranormal
activity around him, in hisbedroom and with him and his
wife.
And so he wanted these thingsout.
And I remember you told me, joe,if you had sight, one thing,
(38:02):
you would be as a soldier, youwould join the military.
And you've got that grit andyou said so.
If I can be a soldier for JesusChrist, that's what I want to
be as a blind person.
So Joe had a very deep level ofcommitment of humility.
So when we would meet forsessions there were no walls up.
(38:24):
A lot of clients that I meetwith come.
It's quite interesting, theycome with walls up.
I'm okay, prove to me that Ihave demons, and it's not my job
to prove to anybody that theyhave demons.
It's up to Jesus Christ and youto figure that out.
I'm just a servant to helppeople.
But it's interesting to me thatoftentimes clients come with
(38:49):
this defense up up because theyreally struggle with being
humble, admitting what hashappened in their life.
It's hard.
I just recently had a clienttell me that it's very hard to
look at his family history andbe real with it the dysfunction
(39:13):
in the family, the fingerprintsof the demons on the family, how
he could see it.
But he didn't want to accept itbecause it's difficult for a
lot of people, not Joe.
Joe came walls down, absolutelyhumble.
Bottom line when he got on thefirst meeting is I want help.
(39:36):
Anything you tell me to do, I'mgoing to do.
Anything we need to do, I'mgoing to do.
I am here to get rid of theseidiots.
That was pretty much hisdisposition and he was serious.
That was pretty much hisdisposition and he was serious
and because he was so, you know, humble, it worked out very well
(40:04):
.
Worked out very well Everysession.
Joe would come fasting to everysession for several days because
he wanted rid of these things.
He was desperate, he did notwant them and that's key.
So if you're ever consideringgetting an exorcism now I'm not
talking about on your ownrenouncing things and all that
stuff may help some, but gettingan exorcism where demons are
(40:26):
manifesting in you, speaking outyour mouth, this is what Joe
went through.
That's an exorcism.
Oh, we don't talk to demons.
The Bible tells us not to talkto demons.
No, it doesn't.
Jesus talked to demons.
Listen, dr Larson has beendoing he's 80 years old man,
(40:48):
he's been doing this for 50years over 50,000 exorcisms.
He's got to be close to 55,000now documented.
I think I'm going to listen tosomebody that's been doing this
for a long time than a pastorwho's never done any of it.
This is legitimately real folks.
Joseph had demons speakingright through him.
(41:12):
A born-again Christian, holySpirit inside of him, loves
Jesus Christ with his wholeheart, and demons speaking
through him saying this is mine,he's mine, he's too powerful.
We're not going to let him go,leave us alone, and so forth.
(41:34):
He got freed up.
We weren't going to leave thedemons alone.
These demons were generational, born with them.
And yes, there were demonsthere from the drugs and from
the smoking, all that, andalcoholism and yada yada, but
the core of them wasgenerational Guys.
(41:55):
And I just want to go on alittle bit more about this to
challenge your thinking.
I recently met with a pastorand in my mind this pastor was
the perfect Ken Dahl pastor.
I mean he had the polishedshoes, he had the suit and tie
on, he had the Rolex watch on.
(42:16):
I mean he was that pastor thatwas going to meet you when you
walked in.
Good morning, it's such awonderful pleasure for you to be
here in the house of the Lordwith us.
In the house of the Lord withus.
Right, you get the pictureright.
Within probably an hour he wasovertaken by demons that took
(42:38):
over his body, speaking throughhim, not his voice.
Eyes dilated, so black youcan't see the white.
His eyes look like snake eyeslooking right at us.
Exorcists A pastor.
This is real.
When I sat down with thispastor, I told him the worst
(43:02):
demons you can have is thesilent killers in the background
making you think you're good, making you think, oh, you could
never have a demon.
That's ridiculous.
Yeah, I want you to think aboutthat friend, you who've been
(43:22):
listening for a while,contemplating.
Maybe this is true, maybe thisis not.
This is true, man and JesusChrist wants to set you free.
You've been lied to.
You've been lied to that thiscannot be demons, or you don't
have demons.
Yeah, I mentioned this tochallenge you in your thinking.
(43:45):
More and more pastors are coming, more pastors are coming, and
these are—I just met with a freeMethodist pastor who is going
through the International Schoolof Exorcism and wants to join
Do what Jesus Did, which is BobLarson's regional teams around
the world.
I'm on one of his regionalteams, plus, I do the Blind
(44:08):
Exorcist.
And I'm not saying that, ooh, Ido two things.
No, I'm just saying I'mpassionate about helping people.
This free Methodist pastor isgoing through this so that he
could bring it into hiscongregation, because he knows
it's real.
I've met with Baptist ministers.
I've met withnon-denominational, charismatic
ministers who have had demons.
(44:29):
This is real.
You guys have heard them.
You heard the one SouthernBaptist pastor on here.
You heard the Anglican reverendfrom Australia on here that had
demons.
It's time to stop playing withthis and take ownership and
realize that the key to yourfreedom and this is why you keep
(44:51):
coming back because you knowthis is real.
You just haven't had theconfidence to step out with it
yet.
But today's your day.
Today, the Holy Spirit'schallenging you through Joe's
life, through what I'm sharing.
Get rid of your demons.
You want a deeper relationshipwith Jesus Christ.
(45:13):
You want to get rid of thisstruggle and heaviness that you
have, friend, it's time.
Get rid of your demons.
And for those of you who thinkthat you don't have demons and
you're, I'm good, I'm good.
That's that Joe Singer, guywith the booze and the smoking
drugs.
He's the demon dude.
(45:34):
I'm good.
Yeah, okay, listen to theepisode I just did with Michael
the intelligence officer Silentkillers.
When you deny that you havedemons, most of the time you
have demons.
Let me say that again when youdeny that you have demons, most
(45:59):
of the time you have demonsbecause they're the ones
convincing you that you don't.
Joe, I'm going to come back toyou.
I could go on forever aboutthis, because I love people.
I sincerely do, and I know youdo as well, joe.
I just want to see the best forthem.
I don't want them to suffer theway that I suffered,
(46:20):
unnecessarily.
This is why I do this, folks, because I care about you.
I sincerely do want to see thebest for you.
And Joseph also has this passion.
He gets freed up after four orfive sessions.
He even had one with Dr Larson.
That was amazing.
So he gets all freed up.
(46:41):
And now he says to me the otherday and I'm going to come to
you about this, joe, in just asecond I love people, justin.
This is what Joe's saying.
I have a heart of compassion, Iwant to help people.
And Joe, as a blind person, went through the International
School of Exorcism and hasbecome a certified exorcist
(47:06):
under Dr Larson's ministry.
How amazing, how amazing.
Jesus Christ will use anybodywho has an open heart and wants
to serve.
And Joe absolutely has thatdisposition.
He's doing exorcisms withfriends.
(47:27):
He's already working at it.
He's excited about this.
He said it's the mostexcitement he's had, the most
exciting thing that he's beendoing ever in his life helping
people get rid of their demons.
Joe, let me come over to youand can you share with the
(48:01):
people what's it been like goingthrough the school and becoming
an exorcist?
Speaker 3 (48:06):
Justin, you're
absolutely right in everything
you're saying and I want peopleto know that all you have to do
is ask the Lord to show you.
Just say, lord Jesus, I don'tknow if I have demons or not.
Please show me and I guaranteeyou he will show you.
It will happen.
But as far as my becoming anexorcist, going through the
(48:26):
school was going through theInternational School of Exorcism
with Dr Bob was easy as pie.
Really, it's just a matter ofwatching the videos, listening
in my case, listening to thevideos, taking notes.
I did the best I could withtaking notes on my computer as I
was listening, and then thereare quizzes at the end of every
lesson and it's just like goingto school.
(48:47):
Pretty much, and only for me,it was better than going to
school because it's somethingthat I'm really interested in.
I'm passionate about my hatredof demons and I'm passionate
about my love of people, andthere's just nothing in the
world that feels better thanhelping someone be free of evil
(49:07):
and just hearing the sigh ofrelief and just the tears of joy
that come over people whenthese demons are exercised.
It's just such a wonderful, beautiful thing and thank the
Lord Jesus that he loves us alland is so willing to forgive and
be merciful and it's reallywonderful.
And so, as this has progressed, now I'm also a part of Do what
(49:30):
Jesus Did and I'm working ongoing through the Advanced
Academy of Deliverance now and Iplan to take every course I can
because, as I progress throughBob Larson University, it just
gives me that many more tools tobe able to help people and it's
really it's a wonderful thingand it's.
I've had nothing but awesomethings come to me with through
(49:54):
my music and I've been veryproud of everything I've
accomplished and stuff like that.
But this is something that isso much more than that, because
you're literally freeingpeople's souls from bondage and
it's truly just a blessing andit's beautiful.
There's really no other wordthat I can use to describe it
(50:16):
other than beautiful, becauseyou're genuinely helping someone
.
When I play a show and I'mplaying music for people, it's
an escape for them and I canhelp them get out of themselves
and get into the music and havea good time and for that two to
four hours or whatever, howeverlong the show is they're into it
and they're loving it and theyforget their troubles.
But with exorcism it's, it's alifelong wonderful thing that,
(50:44):
as long as they protectthemselves there, you can just.
It's something that you justjust.
It's so unexplainable man, butyou, just, you hear it in them.
You see the immediate change, you hear the relief and the
thanks that they give to thelord jesus.
Because I don't do we, we asexorcists, we don't do this for
(51:04):
notoriety or fame or oh yes, you're welcome.
(51:26):
Thank you, joe, it's Jesus.
Thank you, lord, because thisis all about Jesus Christ.
And to tears, because it's sucha wonderful freedom that people
experience, myself included.
And if you can help people, ifyou can help somebody get these,
I call it get the gunk out.
If you can help people, get thegunk out.
And you hear the first time, you hear it, the first time, you
(51:47):
hear someone just breathe thatsigh of relief and realize that
your heart, through the LordJesus, is setting them free.
It's just the most amazingfeeling in the world.
It's better than any drug, better than any drink, better
than any show I've played.
It's just so spiritual and somagical man, it's just wonderful
(52:07):
.
So magical man, it's justwonderful.
Speaker 2 (52:09):
Amen, and that's one
of the reasons that I do it is
that end result those of youwho've been listening for a
while, you've heard me mentionthis where people are crying and
saying, thank God, it's finallyover, the torment's over, or
just the happiness at the endwhen they're freed up.
(52:31):
It's wonderful.
Nothing beats it in life.
And so Jesus Christ has calledeach of us to cast out demons.
It's the Great Commission.
It's the Great Commission.
If you don't know what theGreat Commission is, google it
and read up on it.
But part of that is casting outdemons, and we have been given
(52:53):
the authority to cast out demons.
But don't do it withouttraining.
That's where people makemistakes.
There's a lot of people that wework with that come to us have
had terrible experiences withdeliverance ministry and I say
it to them every time it'sbecause the people you work with
were not trained.
(53:13):
They're self-taught.
That's dangerous.
That's dangerous when you'reself-taught.
Little YouTube video here, little YouTube there.
Holy Spirit showed me this.
Holy Spirit showed me that.
How do you know it was the HolySpirit If you've never been
through an exorcism and havedemons we've talked about this a
lot on here they can speak toyou just like it is the Holy
(53:33):
Spirit.
Listen to Aubie's episode, theone right before this.
She thought she was here in theHoly Spirit the whole time and
it was demons.
So the best way if you'd everbe interested in doing this is
to get training, and of course,I'm going to recommend Dr Bob
(53:54):
Larson because of his experience.
That's why the years that he'sdone it and his schooling is
just top notch.
So I've always been one veryopen to learning, humbling
myself and going to learn fromthose who have went before me.
(54:16):
I don't want to reinvent thewheel.
Larson has figured this out.
It works.
I've been freed from demons byworking directly with him and
Joe has been freed from demonsby working with Larson and with
me and the teams at DWJD.
This works.
So if you have demons and needfreedom, get ahold of me.
(54:36):
Get ahold of me.
Just send me an email info atjustindcom and we'll start your
healing journey, man, and getthis thing going.
And if you don't think you havedemons, come see me.
If you're that listener rightnow, you're like I am fine, I
(55:01):
have no demons of any kindwithin me, come see me and, joe,
we'll kick them up.
Well, it's not us, it's theauthority of Christ in us and
it's the training we've had.
That's key.
Guys, be careful with all thisstuff.
Deliverance and this stuff isall the big hot topic in the
(55:24):
church now and there's so manydeliverance ministers out there
just craziness, causing allkinds of spiritual damage and
trauma to many people.
So if you're consideringdeliverance, you better make
sure the person is submitted toauthority, they're under a
pastor, they're plugged into achurch for several years.
(55:45):
But if you are consideringgetting into deliverance
ministry, learn from Larson.
That's the best advice I couldgive you.
Learn from Larson.
I had someone tell me just theother day that this deliverance
team somebody who's self-taughtyou got to watch out for that.
The Holy Spirit showed me.
(56:06):
The Holy Spirit showed me.
Okay, when I hear that, I getvery reluctant because
oftentimes that's a Jezebelspirit.
It's somebody that's prideful,that doesn't want to submit to
authority and does not want tohumble themselves and go be
taught.
This deliverance team wasworking with a woman and
(56:27):
literally told her to renounceher husband.
And literally told her torenounce her husband yeah,
renounce her husband, who Godhas brought together.
Again.
People are not trained in this.
You need to be careful withpeople out on YouTube and who
you're working with.
Dr Larson is a trustable source, as am I, as is DWJD, through
(56:52):
Dr Larson's ministry.
That's my encouragement to you.
Not that other ministries can'thelp you they can't but just
make sure that they aresubmitted to a church, that they
have pastoral covering and thatthey have training.
And what is the training?
Where were they trained?
Who trained you?
(57:13):
Oh, this is a mess out thereright now.
Guys, be careful.
Enough of that.
I'm going to set that aside, but I think we have shared
enough.
Joe, thank you so much forcoming on today.
This has been awesome.
I know you have touched thehearts of many people, man.
Awesome.
I know you have touched thehearts of many people, man, you
(57:35):
have a precious spirit, you'recompassionate, you love Jesus
Christ, you love helping peopleand at the end of every episode,
I always ask my guests to offerwords of encouragement to the
audience.
So I'm going to ask that fromyou, joe, to just take a minute
here and encourage these peopleabout exorcism, about going for
deliverance.
There are people who listen andthink that they're fine, they
(57:58):
got the silent killers, joe.
There are people who listen andknow they have demons, but
they're terrified of them.
My God, my head might spin, Imight vomit Lots of different
thoughts out there in theaudience.
Joe, I'd like for you to justtake a minute and give them some
encouragement, joe, aboutdeliverance and about exorcism.
Speaker 3 (58:24):
Absolutely, man.
What I can say is I understand.
I can definitely understand howsomeone might think oh man,
this is a little crazy, it's alittle weird.
I don't know if I believe in itor not, and to that I would
respond.
If you're thinking that way,it's just like you said, justin.
If you're thinking that way,you probably have demons,
because what we have to rememberis that Satan and evil spirits
(58:47):
are not coming out guns blazingOkay, they're not.
So often we get this Hollywoodimage of what demons and the
devil are, whether it's the peasoup and the head spinning from
the the Exorcist movie or thedevil with horns coming out and
oh, I'm tempting you and thisand that.
Look out for me.
But the reality of it is thatSatan is a master deceiver.
Jesus tells us that in theBible and I think if you look
(59:10):
around our world today, you cansee the deception with a lot of
people.
So don't be fooled.
There's nothing harmful thatcan come to you from having an
exorcist pray with you andrenounce things and cast these
things out and helps to saveyour life and to help you become
(59:32):
who our Lord Jesus designed youto be.
Nothing can hurt you.
It's all about freedom, and notjust physical freedom, but
spiritual freedom.
And that is where the lightningof the load really takes place,
is in the soul and in thespirit.
(59:53):
And when you feel that, man, that's when you realize, wow, I
really did have a lot of gunk, demonic gunk, built up in there.
And this is an easy thing, it'snot.
There's nothing challengingabout it.
There's nothing hard about it.
It's just it can be hard.
(01:00:14):
I think the hardest thing is toreally dig down deep in yourself
and admit to somebody else hey,I've done this in my life, I've
had this issue in my life, I'vehad this problem in my life,
but never forget.
The Lord tells us to confessour sins to each other.
Never forget.
The Lord tells us to confessour sins to each other, and if
we do that, he will doeverything in his power to help
(01:00:35):
us out, and, believe me, he hasan immense amount of power.
These demons crumble in fear ofhis name as well they should,
because our Lord is the mostamazing, wonderful, merciful God
, and the blessed Trinity lovesyou so much.
All he wants is your freedom, and it's like Justin said
(01:00:56):
earlier.
We've all been granted theauthority to cast out demons.
You just need to know how to doit, and with the training that
we have and you can have thistraining as well Go to the
International School of Exorcism, go to Bob Larson University
online and take the courses, andyou, too, can do the same thing
.
And this is what it's all about, man.
Especially in these crazy timesthat we're in today, helping
(01:01:18):
people get free is so important,so that we can get back to God,
because the more people that weget back to our Lord Jesus
Christ, the better off we're allgoing to be.
If there's anything that I cando to assist you in any way, you
can head on over to blindjoecom.
There's a contact button thatgoes directly to my email.
It's all in the name of lovefor our Lord and helping with
(01:01:42):
your freedom.
So please don't hesitate tocontact me or contact Justin, or
go to boblarsonorg, and any wayyou can get the help that you
