@imtiffanyyu hour: Diversability: Transforming Shame to Pride

Diversity and inclusion are at the forefront of this absolute powerhouse’s journey. 9 year old Tiffany was involved in a severe car accident, leaving her with multiple, long-lasting injuries. Little Tiffany was forced to suppress her feelings and grief, hiding her injuries from the world. 

This experience is the inspiration behind adult Tiffany’s work today. Not wanting to live in an ableist society, Tiffany longed to SHINE for who she is while still having a sense of community. Enter the birth of Diversability, a community built to amplify disabled voices and democratize disability visibility, representation, and access. Tiffany’s definition of community is a beautiful example of what the world should be: “When a group of people come together to nurture their own growth and each other.” Join us as Tiffany dives into how we can be better allies to the disabled community and what AMAZING things we can do to support.
