Speaker 4 (01:11):

So we're excited to talk to you about.

Speaker 4 (01:16):
Yes, I'm sry.

Speaker 5 (01:18):
I know you guys are so fun. Your podcast is
so amazing, so inspiring. I've learned so much from you guys.
It's like it's really cool to finally get something scheduled
to do it.

Speaker 1 (01:29):
Yes, I'm so thrilled, and I'm really thrilled because I
kind of feel like I want to interview both of you,
like interview both of you so that we can see
how this all, you know, came to play because Michelle,
I met you at years ago. You were just getting
ready to go on the Bachelor. Really, so I mean

(01:50):
that was a long time. That was a hot minute ago.

Speaker 4 (01:54):
How long ago this minute?

Speaker 1 (01:57):
Let's okay, let's back up. So you and Laura started
like you met when Lara.

Speaker 5 (02:04):
Okay, So Lara and I met in heaven before we
were born.

Speaker 4 (02:09):
Yes, and so.

Speaker 5 (02:12):
We came to Earth and Laura and I met years
and years ago. So my ex husband and her ex boyfriend,
like we all kind of went to the same church.
We met kind of at the gym. Like Lara was
was and still is a jim rat. I hate to
say jim rat, but she's always been like super you know,

(02:32):
I have this little bang and body, and I would
see her at the gym all the time at Excel.
But yeah, so I would see Lara at the single
toward you know.

Speaker 3 (02:44):
This is Hilariah.

Speaker 2 (02:46):
That's why we always joked that God brought us together
because we met technically at church.

Speaker 3 (02:52):
Yeah, okay, amazing.

Speaker 1 (02:54):
So then you connect there and did were you already
living in the same complex, because I know that that's okay.

Speaker 4 (03:01):
So crazy.

Speaker 5 (03:02):
So then I got divorced, got married, had Brielle, got divorced,
and found this really cool little townhome to rent while
you know, I was sorting out my life, and and
then I there.

Speaker 4 (03:15):
It had like a little community pool.

Speaker 5 (03:17):
I went to the pool with Brill and ran into
Laura and I was like.

Speaker 4 (03:22):
What are you doing here? She's like, what are you
doing here? I live here. I was like, well, I
live here too.

Speaker 5 (03:26):
We kind of just started bumping into each other seeing
each other.

Speaker 4 (03:30):
You know.

Speaker 5 (03:30):
She wanted me to help her with her makeup, and
she brought all her makeup over and we like did
a little you know makeover, you know session. And then
you know, Laura started working for this company called pm
D And at the time, like this was like YouTube
was just becoming like a thing, like YouTubers having their

(03:51):
own channels and doing tutorials and stuff was like this
new thing. And the at the time he was marketing director.
I guess now he's got a different petition. But Sam,
wasn't that his role?

Speaker 3 (04:06):
Yeah, yeah, he was marketing director. Now he's CEO or yeah,
yeah whatever.

Speaker 5 (04:11):
But he like approached Laara and I was like, you
need to have a YouTube channel, and you know, because
Lara's the skincare goddess and knows all the things and
so and Lara's like, well, I don't want to do
it by myself, and so she approached me. I'm like, well, okay, cool,
let's do it.

Speaker 4 (04:24):
So and that's how MMNL was born.

Speaker 2 (04:28):
Yeah, actually Michelle and I did some He asked if
we would like record something for I had already recorded
some stuff for PMD, and so I had Michelle do
it with me. And he was like, you guys have
the most incredible chemistry because we just like went as

(04:50):
friends hanging out recording this video for this brand. And
he was like, you guys need to start a YouTube channel.
And we're like, cool, what is it?

Speaker 3 (04:59):
What is that?

Speaker 4 (04:59):
What YouTube?

Speaker 3 (05:01):
Yeah, We're like how do you do it? And so
he like helped, so let's yeah, yeah.

Speaker 1 (05:08):
That's incredible. Okay, So then we have the MMNL show.
And then how in the hell did this morph into
you getting on The Bachelor? I've always wanted to ask
you this.

Speaker 5 (05:19):
Well, I went on the Bachelor before yeah.

Speaker 4 (05:23):
We started the channel.

Speaker 5 (05:25):
Yeah, okay, okay, I've had a few stints on the show.
So the first time, I feel like the very first
time I went on The Bachelor, and then I went
and did Bachelor Pad and that's when we launched it, right.

Speaker 3 (05:42):
Lara, I think so, Yeah, I think so.

Speaker 5 (05:45):
And then I did Bachelor in Paradise. So okay, so
you've been like the Bachelor girl.

Speaker 1 (05:51):
So I have to tell you I had never like,
I've never watched The only episode of Bachelor I've ever
watched was when you were on it. Oh, because I
was like, I kind of know somebody, I know someone
if somebody knows, so super fun, but that like, did you?
First of all, how old were you when you?

Speaker 5 (06:13):
I on thirty and I'm forty four now, so that
was fourteen years ago, sadly okay?

Speaker 4 (06:18):
But what I who was the guy? Was the guy?

Speaker 1 (06:20):
Brad was?

Speaker 5 (06:21):
Yeah, Brad Womack was his name, and he that was
his second time being the Bachelor.

Speaker 4 (06:27):
And what is he doing now? Do he even knows?

Speaker 5 (06:31):
I mean, I don't even know. I haven't had no clues.
He could be married with children and I have no idea.

Speaker 1 (06:37):
Wow, Okay, so you get off of the first that
you and the first show and then did clearly you
wanted to go back on another when they asked you.
But was that ever in the cards?

Speaker 5 (06:48):
No, Like it was a really so my season of
The Bachelor, with the edit that I got, was really
inconsistent with what happened, right, which is just part of
like how it is now. But back then it was
like very it was wild, like to have about a villain. Yeah,
to have like a villain was like not. There was
this one girl named Vienna who was on Jake's season

(07:12):
who was kind of maybe like the first villain, but.

Speaker 4 (07:17):
Yeah, it was.

Speaker 5 (07:18):
It was like it was so crazy to watch the
show because so many of the things that they made
play out a certain way did not happen that way,
like at all.

Speaker 1 (07:29):
Are you mad?

Speaker 5 (07:30):
Oh?

Speaker 4 (07:31):
Yeah I was. It was really really difficult. I was.
I was mad. I was like, yeah, I was embarrassed.

Speaker 5 (07:38):
I was like frustrated because my experience was lovely, Like
I loved going on I loved meeting all these people.

Speaker 4 (07:47):
I loved the experience.

Speaker 5 (07:50):
Like when I was on my way home, like I
was like writing my journal, I'm like, this was so amazing. Like,
you know, I'm definitely going to be like this the
mom that's always crying because she misses her daughter, like
and like none of that stuff was even included, so
all all, so many things were cut out, and so
what I experienced versus what everyone else experienced was so

(08:11):
different and so it was really like cognitively like so
bizarre because I was like, it was just hard to
wrap your head around. So basically, once I got done
with the show, they asked me to come on Bachelor
Pad and I was like, absolutely not. You guys are
awful humans and that would be a hell no. And

(08:35):
then they said, well what would it take? And I
made a list and they made the list come true.
So I was like fine, and I honestly wanted to
go back on because you know, they had made these
promises that they were going to like, you know, represent
me true to who I was, and granted, like I
didn't like believe at all, but it was like there
was this part of me that was like, you need

(08:57):
to do it, and so I did and I'm glad
I did.

Speaker 1 (09:02):
Wow, Okay, I know, so let's move forward to meeting Mike.
So you go on The Bachelor three times over I mean, so,
how old were you when you when you were introduced
to Mike?

Speaker 4 (09:18):
Okay?

Speaker 5 (09:19):
So when I Okay, So after a bachelor pad a
few years went by, I did Bachelor in Paradise and
I met a guy named Cody on that show and
we started dating and he actually moved to Utah and
moved in with me, and we started like you know,
like we were dating and all the things, and it

(09:41):
didn't work out, broke up, he moved out, and then
like I think, like a few weeks later is when
I I was in Utah. I was walking into this
restaurant and Mike was just there with some buddies. His
buddies came out, Mike went to use the restroom. The
guys came out, and we're kind of waiting for Mike.
And as I went in, Mike was coming out and

(10:05):
he saw me and his friends were there and like
he's like, who's that girl? And they're like, that's some
shell money. She was on the Bachelor on Good Things,
Utah all the things, and he's like, I have no
idea what those things are, but I would like to
meet her. So they found people who knew me, and
I got a text one day from a friend who's

(10:25):
like from Mindy Martineau, who's like, hey, do you know
Mike Weir And I'm like yeah, and she's like, he
wants to go out with you? And I'm like, oh, well,
isn't he mayor I thought he was married. She's like, no,
he's single. One wants to take you out, And I
was like sure. And at that time, I just like
launched this big online beauty course called The Money Method,

(10:48):
and so I was super busy, like launching this company
that I started, and so like weeks went by before
we finally went out, and he invited me to go
to his like he was having a little birthday party
at his house, and so Mindy and I went and
a bunch of people were there and we met and
it was like from the very beginning, it was just

(11:11):
really easy and really comfortable and really, I don't know,
like natural like there. It wasn't like The Bachelor, where
it's like this like you know, dramatic, like you know,
emotional connection that's all been produced and fabricated.

Speaker 4 (11:25):
You know.

Speaker 5 (11:26):
Like it was like this very slow and steady, healthy
progression of relationship. And so from that point on, we
never saw anyone else and it was just like slow
and steady and eventually just was like a no brainer.
So they're all super organic.

Speaker 4 (11:45):
That's amazing.

Speaker 1 (11:46):
So I'm going to say I didn't know who Mike
was because I don't follow golf. And then for those
that don't know who, when you're talking about my.

Speaker 4 (11:58):
Who is he?

Speaker 5 (11:59):
Okay, So Mike is my husband. He is from Canada.
He's a professional golfer. He's best known for his win
at the Masters. He's a Masters champion. And in Utah,
you know, he went to he was raised in Canada
and then went to BYU and that's where he played

(12:21):
in college. So a lot of people in Utah know him.
And then he ended up meeting his ex wife, you know,
in college. They got married, stayed in Utah, which is
rare because most golfers like moved to Florida or something,
but they stayed in Utah, had their kids, raise their
kids here, and so a lot of people in Utah
know him. There's a street called Mike wear Drive, and

(12:44):
he's just kind of known as like a Utah you know,
EYU player. And so yeah, so he's now we're now
he's playing on the Champions Tour and which is up
for fifty years and older. So he played on the
regular tour for years and then on fifty he's we're
now on the championship. That's where I meant. We're in Tucson,

(13:06):
Arizona at the Bolivard Classic.

Speaker 4 (13:08):
I love it.

Speaker 3 (13:11):
Yeah, nice and warm there.

Speaker 5 (13:12):
I'm sure it's not too warm, but it's it's we're
gonna get there.

Speaker 4 (13:16):
It's fine.

Speaker 3 (13:17):
Yeah. So how is it to be married to a
professional athlete?

Speaker 4 (13:23):
You know what?

Speaker 5 (13:23):
It's funny because I think that the qualities that like
a professional athlete has are like the things I'm really
drawn to because he's very like disciplined, and he's very
he has really great work ethic, he's really passionate about
his sport, and so it's wonderful. It's it's like, it's

(13:48):
what and what's so cool about golf is you can
play for so many years of life, right like you
know with basketball players are baseball or football if they
have this short little span of time where they get
to like be in their prime and then they kind
of like don't know what to do with themselves.

Speaker 4 (14:07):
Well, golf is different when you have the.

Speaker 5 (14:10):
Kind of career that Mike's had and you are able
to play on the Champions Tour, like Mike could be
playing until he's eighty.

Speaker 4 (14:17):
You know.

Speaker 5 (14:18):
And so it's a really great I really enjoy it.
And Mike has a really good balance with It's it's like, yes,
he's obsessed with it. It's all consuming. He's like so
disciplined and regimented. But he's he's got you know, these
two daughters and now Brial as a stepdaughter and me,

(14:40):
and so he's surrounded by all these women and he's
got this real softness to him and he's able to like,
you know, balance you know, this rigid game with some softness,
which is really important. And so but it's a different life, right,
Like we're on the road a lot, you're and the

(15:00):
game of golf is insane. So it's like, I don't
know if you guys watch Full Swing, it's on.

Speaker 2 (15:06):
I just watched your episode. Yeah, everyone has to tune in.

Speaker 3 (15:10):
It's so good.

Speaker 5 (15:11):
It's such a great show to watch if you're new
to golf, to help you understand the sport, how the
game works, like how emotionally like up and down everyone is.
It's just it's such a it's really really hard to
get a win and when you do, it's just like
the high of all highs. And then it's like the

(15:32):
next week you got to go back and start trying
to win again. And it's it's a really beautiful, like
rewarding game to learn how to play, like as someone
who's new to it. But once you learn, you have
such a deeper respect for like these professional athletes who
just grind and like occasionally get a win if ever.

Speaker 1 (15:56):
Okay, so you didn't play golf until you met Mike, right, Okay,
because I've only done top golf and mini golf.

Speaker 4 (16:04):
You do, how did you do? Terrible? Terrible the eyeballs.

Speaker 1 (16:09):
I only have one good eye that can see, So
I mean, this is the golf. It's not going to
work for me, but I find it fascinating because I
think I would after one hole, I would be like
wanting to put my eyeballs out because my attention span
is like this big.

Speaker 5 (16:27):
For sure you would, but and it's hard because it's
like that's what's so cool about the sport is like
it requires a lot of you, you know, and so
you're always having to push yourself. But I I don't
like to play eighteen holes. I only like to play
nine max. Sometimes I just like to play five. And
so that's what is cool about the game is just

(16:48):
like a casual player, you don't have to play eighteen holes,
so you can do whatever the hell you want, you know,
you just have to the biggest thing is being able
to like keep up, like not be slow. And even
things like you know, top golf are such a great
way to just like go and and mess around with
it and learn. But it definitely is a sport that

(17:11):
requires like continual education, like or you know, like a
lot of practice. Like to think that you can just
like go grab a club and go play some holes.
That will you will want to gas your eyeballs out,
like you said, and it will be hard.

Speaker 3 (17:28):
Okay, I gotta watch Full Swing.

Speaker 5 (17:30):
Yeah, it's just is a good It shows you kind
of the the inside you know life of like the
players and what's really going on, and it's cool.

Speaker 1 (17:42):
All right, let's take a quick break to hear from
some of the body pod sponsors. We'll be right back, Okay,
So let's move on to your company. Yeah, and and
tell us, well, tell us what what your company is
and how long have you had this hot.

Speaker 5 (18:05):
So when I let's see in twenty twenty one. You know,
like I started dating Mike and never really was super
interested in golf, and I would go to to tournaments
and things, and the whole thing was just kind of
it's intimidating, and so I never really got that interested
in golf until later in life. Brielle had just had

(18:27):
her accident. She wanted, you know, I needed to get
her doing something that was kind of like using her
using her brain, being active, using her body because my
daughter was in a bad longboarding accident, was in a
coma for ten days and had to like relearn how
to do all the things. So after that happened, golf

(18:48):
was something she was interested in. So we started kind
of going and learning and you know, and then fast
forward to a friend of mine named Jen. She Jen Clyde.
She had reached out to me and was like, hey,
let's go golf. I see that you're golfing. Let's go golf.
So we, you know, went to my country club and
I was like, oh, by the way, you need.

Speaker 4 (19:08):
To have like a collared shirt.

Speaker 5 (19:09):
It's really annoying, but it's like there's you know, these rules,
and so she went down got this you know, country
Cloak Country club, you know, outfit, and she showed up
and was like this is this is awful And I'm like,
I know you look you kind of look dumb.

Speaker 3 (19:26):
She's like yeah.

Speaker 5 (19:27):
So, and to make a long story short, we kind
of just Mike and I decided to you know, kind
of like take a risk and invest in in in
a company that would kind of help bring more women
to the to the game. And so and we started
by just doing events and and that kind of led

(19:48):
into this which was happening. We weren't really aware of
it at the time, but this boom in women's golf,
and so all these women were like really wanting to
learn the game because it was right after COVID it
was something you can do outside, and so we had
all these women who wanted to learn, and so, you know,

(20:11):
we just like we did an event in Utah that
sold out, We did an event in Arizona that sold out,
we did an event in Canada, and so yeah, we
just it was just like wow, you know. And at
that time we were just selling like merch and different things,
but it was mainly events. And then Mike was golfing
one day in a pro am and he got paired
up with this guy named Ted Shin and Ted owns

(20:33):
Worldwide Golf, which is like a big, you know, corporation
that owns a ton of little mom and pop golf
shops and they're kind of like taking over the golf industry.

Speaker 4 (20:43):
It's really cool.

Speaker 5 (20:44):
But and Mike told him about our company and he
was like, I'd love to talk to them about maybe
developing a full apparel line and so yeah, so Mike
introduced us to Ted, and Ted loved what we had done,
and now we're like in all these Worldwide stores and

(21:05):
we just launched in free People today and we have
like what I know, it's so crazy.

Speaker 3 (21:11):
Wow. We Yeah, they're doing Gardable.

Speaker 5 (21:14):
Really really fast. Like it grew really fast. It was
there was such a need for it. And my business partner,
Jen is really really great creatively.

Speaker 4 (21:24):
We have an amazing designer.

Speaker 5 (21:26):
We have like a really great team of people who
have been able to like take this little brand and
turn it into something that like people want to wear
and that people feel like really cute and that you
could kind of wear on the course and then like
out to dinner with friends and you know, so we
kind of tapped into this little niche audience that was

(21:47):
like really wanting to to like have better options when golfing,
but come to find out.

Speaker 4 (21:55):
Like women just love that sporty vibe.

Speaker 5 (21:57):
So it's a lot of our you know, our our
tagline is Golfing Optional because it's really kind of like
a lifestyle brand that you can kind of wear anywhere,
and we kind of just hope that you'll also learn
how to golf if you haven't.

Speaker 1 (22:13):
I love that tagline and it's so I think it's great. Yeah,
I think it's incredible that we well, we all want
to feel cute. I mean that's why the active wear
is massive and never going away for any anything fitness related, so.

Speaker 4 (22:29):
I know, brilliant.

Speaker 5 (22:30):
Really, it's funny because golf really is such an intimidating sport,
and you do you feel awkward and weird, like moving
your body in these weird ways, and you're already like
uncomfortable just getting out and learning. But when you have
a cute outfit on, you don't even you don't even
care forget it, Like, I don't even care if I'm

(22:51):
playing bad.

Speaker 4 (22:52):
I look cute and I feel cute.

Speaker 5 (22:54):
And so as women, we all know how that translates
into life, right, like when we feel confident in our skin,
confident in our body and in our clothing, we show
up better, we show up differently, and so you know,
and we really pride ourselves on having you know, like
we we go up to double extra large in our sizing.

Speaker 4 (23:15):
Which we really had to push for.

Speaker 5 (23:16):
It was really like something that a lot of you know,
these buyers are kind of like, we don't want those sizing.
The sizes they just don't sell. And it's like, well,
it's because you're not offering it.

Speaker 4 (23:28):
And so.

Speaker 5 (23:31):
Yeah, body inclusivity is super important to us and just
being able to have you know, just options for anyone
from like youth to like adults. They're all loving the brand.
It's really cool how we're drying a lot of attention
from a lot of different age ranges and and even
like outside of golf, right like pickleball, and you know,

(23:52):
we just launched our spring line, which is like really
you know, a nod to like race car race, seeing basketball, baseball.
Like we're kind of really trying to you know, kind
of like tip our hat to all sports and women's sports,
you know as well, and just unifying all of us

(24:15):
as women who just really love sport and really want
to like look cute while we play.

Speaker 3 (24:21):
Yeah, I get that.

Speaker 1 (24:24):
So the company is three years old, two and a half.

Speaker 4 (24:30):
I mean technically it's like four, but we we launched
the apparel side of it in twenty twenty three.

Speaker 1 (24:38):
Okay, so you've had massive growth in that short amount
of time.

Speaker 2 (24:42):
Yeah.

Speaker 4 (24:43):
Massive.

Speaker 1 (24:43):
Okay, So let's talk about that, because yeah, I can
relate with that.

Speaker 3 (24:47):
Last year.

Speaker 4 (24:48):
It's a blur.

Speaker 1 (24:49):
I don't remember any of it. And it's not all fun.
I mean it's not all like fun.

Speaker 4 (24:56):
It's miserable. I don't recommend it.

Speaker 1 (24:58):
Like why can't I just go back to being a
trophy wife. I mean, why why would I do this?

Speaker 4 (25:05):
Let me tell you something. It's so funny, that's what
she said, because I mean I would.

Speaker 5 (25:11):
Go over to Lara's house and like, I'm just like,
I don't know how this happened. It was an accident,
Like I did not mean for this to happen, and
I'm like, it's it's just there's certain people that are
cut out for it. And you know, I've never been
able to be like in the Daily Grind because Mike's
Mike's my number one priority. It's always kind of been like, listen,

(25:33):
we're on the road a ton, Like I can't be
in the office every day, right, And so it's always
been kind of like just stressful balancing those two worlds
because it's like if this thing just happened so fast
and I was not prepared for it. I wasn't prepared mentally, emotionally, physically, spiritual,

(25:57):
none of it.

Speaker 4 (25:57):
Like it was just like I was not prepared.

Speaker 5 (26:00):
But I learned so much and I've grown so much
and I've evolved so much, and it's been it's been amazing,
but you know, I've had to grind my whole freaking life.
Like I've never been in a position in my life
where i have like the blessing of not having to work,

(26:21):
not like even wanting to work and.

Speaker 4 (26:26):
Really presenting work.

Speaker 1 (26:27):
No.

Speaker 5 (26:28):
I So I'm like it's been really hard for me
because I'm like, oh my gosh, like I don't know
how this happened.

Speaker 4 (26:34):
But so I've.

Speaker 5 (26:36):
Really had to take a step back because I had
some health issues come up in twenty twenty three, like
right when we launched our brand, it was like this
crazy busy time of life. So to make long story short,
like I have taken a step back from for All
as much as I can, while I really try to

(26:57):
maintain my health and my my priorities as far as
like where I'm at in life, Like right now, I'm like,
you know, I it's my husband, it's my family, it's
my kids, and it's my health, you know, and my friends,
and like anything I don't have to do outside of that,
I just really am not doing because it's not worth

(27:19):
it for me, and it's not you know, it's not
a priority right now with my life. So, you know,
for All has been this amazing thing that like I
feel like Mike and I helped start and grow and
get to where it is and now we can kind
of take a step back and let it grow and

(27:41):
let it grow and do what we always wanted it
to do.

Speaker 4 (27:43):
And so.

Speaker 5 (27:45):
You know, it's been a transition, but it's been really
good for my help, really good for my family, and
you know, so it's been it's been a wild few years.

Speaker 4 (27:58):
Wild.

Speaker 2 (28:00):
I think that's really brave too, to just make those
hard decisions. Yeah, of I'm going to choose my health
and my family, and it is hard, not easy.

Speaker 4 (28:11):
To do that. No, it's not easy.

Speaker 1 (28:14):
You mentioned that you had learned some lessons in the
three year journey. Did you have any setbacks or do
you feel like you kind of just got in the
door maybe with people that Mike knew or what I mean,
there's setbacks with everything, even with any kind of connection.

Speaker 4 (28:33):
What were Did you have any setbacks with four All? Yeah,
Oh my gosh, no, not really.

Speaker 5 (28:41):
It's yeah, I'm telling you, Okay, it was like we did,
but it was also like it was like this thing
needed to be birthed, like it was out of our hands.

Speaker 4 (28:50):
I don't know how to explain it, like Jen and.

Speaker 5 (28:53):
I like, yes, we've worked really hard, and yes we've
like created something so specific I mean this, Yeah, the
setbacks of like growing really fast are painful. I just
don't want to complain too much because we've been so blessed.

(29:13):
We've been, I mean, we've really been hugely blessed. And
you know, Mike's obviously had to have. Mike have so
many connections in the game and so many connections in
the industry, and you know, we've gotten into so many
you know, golf shops and different golf clubs, and you know,

(29:34):
there's so many things that you know, just having a
name like Mike, you know is who's so well respected
in the industry is just a huge advantage and you know,
and yeah, this setbacks, there's been plenty of setbacks as
far as like, you know, aligning on ideas, aligning on visions,
and that's just always going to be a thing, especially

(29:55):
when you're creative people trying to you know, create. But like,
it's been so crazy because it's just it just kind
of almost felt like bigger than us, like it needed
to come to life and we were just kind of
like the vessels and like, you know, so yeah, yeah,

(30:18):
I don't want to discount how hard it's been, but
we have been so blessed and so fortunate to have
the kind of growth that we've had.

Speaker 1 (30:27):
Mm hmmm, do you have any desire to go back on?
If you tomorrow? They were like, okay, Michelle, we're going
to have a Mike and Michelle show. Would do you
have any desire to go back on reality TV? I
kind of did with one. Okay, so if you did
an episode of.

Speaker 3 (30:45):
Well you do that episode of Full Swing?

Speaker 5 (30:47):
So did you make a Yeah, it's more like a
docu sory, like you're they literally are just following you around.

Speaker 4 (30:53):
It's not it's so different than a reality show.

Speaker 5 (30:56):
But no, I you know, but I really don't have
a desire.

Speaker 4 (31:05):
To do much of anything outside of my friends. Yeah, yeah, really.

Speaker 5 (31:13):
And you know, like my health. I really I'm in
this really interesting stage of life that I never thought
i'd be out where, Like I'm so uninterested in anything
that is like me being out there or like being

(31:33):
like on social media or like you know, like influencing
in any way.

Speaker 4 (31:38):
Like I have.

Speaker 5 (31:41):
Never been more uninterested in anything like that than I
am now, And maybe that will change, but I don't know.
I think that I'm really enjoying a little bit more privacy.
I'm enjoying a lot more like intimate relationships with people
that I really know and care about, and not so

(32:02):
much these like internet friends. You know, not that there's
anything wrong with that, because there's not.

Speaker 4 (32:09):
That's a beautiful part of life.

Speaker 5 (32:10):
But I guess for me, I'm like very exhausted and
uh just disillusioned by social media and you know a
little bit just kind of like I think because Laura
and I really have been doing it from the very beginning,

(32:31):
like that kind of went right into like I kind
of got thrown into it again with Instagram. Like right
when Instagram came Instagram came out, was when Bachelor Pad
or Bachelor of Paradise happened. So I like immediately had
this huge following on Instagram, and it's like it's exhausting,
and you know, I just don't enjoy it anymore.

Speaker 4 (32:52):
I don't, you know, I liked.

Speaker 5 (32:55):
I like to talk about things I genuinely care about
and that I know will make a difference in people's
lives and and you know, but it's like I'm becoming
more and more like just wanting to just be private
and wanting to just and it's not even like a
conscious thought where it's like I want to be private.
It's just like I'm just not drawn to it anymore.
I'm not interested in it anymore. I mean, I'm on

(33:18):
TikTok all day.

Speaker 3 (33:19):
I'm on I like.

Speaker 4 (33:21):
I love TikTok.

Speaker 3 (33:23):
She is learning all the things, which in turn I'm learning.
I learned so much.

Speaker 5 (33:28):
But I don't put myself out there at all, Like
I'm not interested in like putting a camera in front
of me at all.

Speaker 4 (33:34):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (33:35):
Okay, well, I think you've never looked better in your life.
What are the like two or three things that you
are doing or you know the main things that you're
doing in your forties.

Speaker 3 (33:47):
To stay healthy, fit strong.

Speaker 5 (33:51):
I mean, I really love weightlifting. I just really love it,
and it's become something that I have, Well, I've done
it consistently now. And when I say consistently, I mean
like at least two to three times a week.

Speaker 4 (34:09):
For like two years.

Speaker 5 (34:11):
And what's so fun, It is so much fun. And
the more the stronger I get, the more empowered I
feel and the more and what's so wild is like
I've never been in this kind of shape in my life.
Like I'm in the best shape of my life out
forty four. And it's like so funny, how like, you know,

(34:31):
five ten years ago, I would be on Instagram and
see all these bikini models and all these fit people
and be like, one day I'm going to be showing
up my body and it's like it's so funny because
it's it isn't for anyone else but me, Like I
don't feel any need to be like, hey, look at
my before and after. Not that there's anything wrong with that,
but what's been so fascinating for me about the whole

(34:52):
process is how it's not the reward that I have
got from it is not anything I feel like I
need to prove to anyone but myself. And that's been
the coolest part about it is, you know, like I
worked for these muscles, like I had to do this
and I had to you know, no one else did

(35:15):
it but me, and it's just so rewarding for myself.
I don't know, but so yeah, working out weight training consistently,
prioritizing like real food has been really huge for me.
Like I'm an ingredient reader. I try really hard to
avoid anything with more than like five or six ingredients,

(35:38):
and you know, I try to avoid the seed oils,
I try to avoid sugar, I try to avoid you know,
high fruitoise all that stuff is just kind of garbage.

Speaker 4 (35:49):
I try to prioritize protein. I try to prioritize my sleep.

Speaker 5 (35:52):
But my sleep is my sleep scores sucking lately and
it's making me sad.

Speaker 1 (35:57):
Oh girl, I've been up since three thirty today, so
it away talking that before amazing.

Speaker 3 (36:07):
It's so great.

Speaker 4 (36:08):
I love it.

Speaker 5 (36:09):
I actually just yesterday started testosterone, so yeah, I'm make
sure about to see how you like, you do have
to be really careful when you've had a breast cancer diagnosis,
you have to be super careful about your hormones. And
so I've been really done all the research and done
all the you know, talk to my doctor about all
the things, and I feel good about getting on testosterone.

Speaker 4 (36:31):
So I just started that yesterday. So maybe that will help. Yeah,
But more than anything, it's stress.

Speaker 5 (36:37):
I really think, like removing stress from your life as
much as you possibly can and really trying to like
implement some sort of you know, practice a spiritual practice,
whether it's like meditation or prayer or something you know,
like has been really that's been really helpful for me.

Speaker 2 (36:57):
Mm hmm.

Speaker 3 (37:00):
Yeah, I love all the gems.

Speaker 4 (37:02):
Yeah, that's what I would say.

Speaker 3 (37:05):
Are you so proud of the weightlifting, Hayley.

Speaker 1 (37:08):
I'm so proud, And it's just good to I mean
it really, like you said, there's so many more benefits
than the vanity side of it that you know, a
lot of women still think like, well I don't need
to have this body that you know, blah blah blah
or whatever, but there's so many other benefits outside. Now,
some women definitely benefit from the body composition changes that

(37:31):
makes them feel better, but it's you know, I mean
we're training for life essentially.

Speaker 4 (37:37):
I know, it's so interesting.

Speaker 5 (37:39):
And then also learning how to like you know, it's
not so much about doing these like clean and snatch
things as much as like learning how like you're going
to be picking up groceries and like when you're eighty,
you know, are you going to still be able? You know,
these functional movements that are just going to help us
as we age. And that's what's exciting to me is

(38:00):
that there's so much more knowledge, you know, from people
like you guys who help, you know, help me see
my future as something really like cool, Like it's going
to be cool to be in our eighties with the
knowledge and the information that we have now, it's going
to look totally different.

Speaker 2 (38:19):
And talks and because of botox and the good the
good plastic surgeons and the good plastic surgeons, we're gonna
look great.

Speaker 3 (38:30):
Oh my gosh, Michelle, thank you so much for coming
on and you talking about all the things.

Speaker 4 (38:37):
I know.

Speaker 5 (38:37):
I'm so happy to do it. And I just love
what you two are doing. I love the information that
you do to have like, yeah, you guys are really
killing it. And it's an absolute honor to even be
here with you guys, so I love you both.

Speaker 3 (38:52):
Thank you, Michelle, thanks, thank you, good time.

Speaker 4 (38:55):
Yes, of course, thanks for listening.

Speaker 2 (38:59):
