The book is called Wild DarkShore and, like I said, it's a
mystery romance, but it has alot of suspense and like

Has a very sublime type of feelto it.

Onyx storm, which is the thirdbook in some series by rebecca
yaros, but fourth wing is thefirst one we've had like
multiple.
We've talked about thismultiple times, like on the
podcast, so again won't go intoit too much, but I have lowered

my expectations and so I thinkthe book will be good I hope so.

it's going to be more thanthree then we better learn the

Okay, so I saw her talking about Onyx Storm, like
in a video on Instagram, andbehind her she had like with the
spine towards the viewer, andOnyx Storm is so much shorter
than Iron Flame, like, say, atleast 150 pages shorter based on

more to the point, whereas, um,I thought Iron Flame was like so
dragged out unnecessarily andyou know, like all very um
famous and like popular trendsthat were going around on TikTok

and was just like, okay, maybelike cut off that and just be,
just write the fantasy that thisdeserves to be.

I also feel like without givingaway too many spoilers in case
listeners haven't read it, but Ifelt like Iron Flame
incorporated YA aspects to it,especially for the romance, that

about it like um that I feellike she should have made this
series a complete slow burn andI wish things progressed a lot
slower.

just roll with it.

it's one of those things that I was like it just,
and people are like, well, maybeyou should have listened to the
audio.
I switched to the audio and Iwas like, oh, it did make it
like at least easier, because Iwas driving when we were reading
it, like I was still living inProvidence so I would have to
drive to work and stuff, so Iused that hour to like drive.

But I feel like what's the longest drive of your life
when listening to it?

Kind of it's like very boring.

Well, everybody says like how, because they're Irish,
that it's like a deliciousnarrator, and I'm like I think
the narrator is fine, like hewas great, she was great.

I actually don't mind duetstyle so being like the female
speaks during her lines, eventhough it might be a male
chapter, so then the male readseverything else, it actually
makes it super easy to follow onor follow along during like the
dynamic, uh, or like dialogue,which is great.
And so I know like a lot ofpeople either have like a love
hate relationship, like theyeither love it or they hate it.
I'm definitely one.
That's like it depends.
But this is almost like adramatic audio book, so like if

she laughs, like the narrator'slaughing instead of like saying
she laughs, or like it will belike little things like that,
like if she hiccups, she hiccup,the narrator hiccups, she
hiccup, the narrator hiccups andlike so, like a lot of the
times, like the main female maincharacter, which I don't even
know her name it was whatever,it doesn't matter.

I didn't like the narratorlaugh, so it just just pissed me
off every time I heard it.
So I think there's things likethat.
So I would have preferred ifthat was out of it, but I didn't

reason.

So I don't really know what tomake of that.
But I will say that, regardlessof my experience with reading
um leather and lark like I didnot listen to the audiobook,

very personal stand um, also,the writing in that book was
just not it for me it wasactually like overdoing the
Irish dialect and accent, likein that book, like stylistically
and like from like a grammarperspective.
So it was just not.

the Hunger Games, was huge, andthen even that the prequel, the

necessarily want to read thatbook.
I saw the movie and I'mobsessed with the movie, loved
it, thought it was so good andthe way they did it, it just so

jennifer lawrence, also likejosh hutcherson.
Like josh hutcherson, likeyounger me, had the biggest,

up and it's like fey, alchemyand fey or something like that,

releasing november 18th, but Iknow she was just traditionally
published for quicksilver andthat came out by forever, not
that long ago, like in december.
So this book two could bepushed out, but november 18th

alchemy and things like that,but I still think quicksilver
would have been a series nameand then something else for the
