I’m so honoured and feel so blessed that Rick was happy to join my podcast.
Rick is easily a person I’m deeply impressed and inspired by.
He is an advanced Care Paramedic/ First responder for 30+ years in Alberta/ Canada.
His story is so deeply inspiring and gives a lot of hope for his generation and for the future generations to come.
The intention for this episode is:
- To break the mental health stigma
- To get to know a courageous man on a deeper level
- To share uncomfortable truths in order to make others who struggle feel less lonely
- To inspire all people out there who listen that no matter where you are at in life and what you have accomplished you will be seen and supported if you make the first step of reaching out for help when you need it
- To get the word out that there is more people out there than we think that struggle on the inside and we need to become more attuned and compassionate as a community/ society
