David (00:05):
Welcome to the Boundless Bible.
My name is David Shapiro, hey,I'm Javi Marquez and I'm Jason.

Jason (00:09):
Holloway Back with another quick question, david,
what's your?

David (00:16):
question today.
Our question today is what isyour favorite worship song?

Jason (00:22):
Favorite is a hard one.
Favorite is a hard one.
Favorite is a hard one.
I definitely have a song thatwas really, really, really
impactful to me when I firstcame back, and it was a song
that I listened to over and overand over and it was More Than
Able.

Javie (00:36):
Ah, that's good, More Than Able.

Jason (00:38):
That's a good song and you know there's a line in it
when he says you know, when didI start to forget all of the
good things you did oh, that'sso good.
When did I start believing, orstop believing that you could do
miracles, type thing?
And it just reminded me of likebeing a child and being
innocent and believing that thewhole world is your oyster.
And then what happened to mewas just closing down and

(01:00):
getting dark and being like no,no, you know religion, no church
, no, nothing.
And and to be able to like havethat moment for me to come back
and like be able to open myeyes again to the miracles, to
the goodness, to the all thosethings, that's good, man.
That song destroyed me for awhile, man, but it was a good
destroyer, right no, that's good.

Javie (01:20):
I think for me would be something impactful song.
It's so many good songs, I justcan't choose.
But would be somethingimpactful song.
It's so many good songs, I justcan't choose.
But I think an impactful songis something I could pinpoint
and for me was oceans.
I know everyone is tired of itright now.
They're like I'm done with it,and this I mean this year.
I mean this, like who knows, when you listen to this episode
right, but so to me it's oceansand it was so impactful for me

(01:43):
because I was fairly a newbeliever at that time and just
seeing how my church kind of didat the time did like this
depiction of Peter going in theocean and God Jesus Christ kind
of holding him up and pullinghim out, out, and for me that
that depiction, with the songplaying it, just solidified

(02:07):
god's love but also his gracefor us and reminding us of the
the little faith that we haveand how much more we could do
with christ and having faith inhim right, so that that kind of
bottled that up for me and Idon't know I cry for like days,
I think isn't it crazy how thosesongs can do that to you,
though?

Jason (02:25):
like they, they just like pick you apart methodically,
and then music is very impactfulit's so impactful to me mine is
a less known song.

David (02:34):
It's called say so by russ moore okay okay so.
Say so is a song that encouragespeople to be generous with
their words, to bless otherswith their words, um, to know
that you're a blessing, to blessothers and to say that you love
somebody when you have theopportunity, when you have the
chance.
It's a really great song and itreally just it's just very

(02:54):
encouraging and it reallyreminds us that we can boost
people up and sometimes we needit.
Sometimes we just need somebodyto just tell us what we're
doing right, what they feelabout us hey, I love you.
And we just need somebody tojust tell us what we're doing
right, what they feel about ushey, I love you, and that's it,
and it's just gonna make such animpact.
Yeah, and it it reallyencourages somebody to make that
impact for somebody else everyday and just tell them just say
so and say that they're doinggreat and they love them.

(03:14):
Now I have to go listen to that.

Javie (03:16):
You're doing great man you're doing great, david I
appreciate it you know.

Jason (03:19):

My first two concerts weremichael w smith.
Michael w smith was the.
He was the king of religiousmusic back then oh okay, you
know the song right now.
That's out the place in thisworld.
The place, no, I think it'sking and country, the.

(03:40):
He originally did it in likethe super early 90s, so my first
two concerts were him.
So there's these three albums.

Actually, the big picture waseven before that.
It's 1985.

1985 but it is so good.
