Welcome to the BreakthroughEmotional Eating Podcast.
(01:00):
My name is Kristen Jones andthank you so much for joining me
this week.
In today's episode, I want totalk to you about something that
I believe absolutely isessential if you want real and
lasting transformation, not justthe short bursts of willpower
and temporary discipline thatleads to a little bit of
(01:21):
motivation.
I want you to have lastingchange, and what does it take to
have lasting change?
It takes doing the deep work atthe subconscious level, because
if you've been feeling likeyou've been stuck and that you
can't move past something inyour life, there's a block in
(01:42):
your relationship with food, inyour relationship with another
person self-doubt,procrastination, people pleasing
, whatever it is.
You're not alone, but I willtell you this you're not going
to fix it with some mindsethacks and a couple of new habits
or by just trying harder.
You are going to need to godeeper and that's what we're
(02:04):
going to talk about today.
So most of us have tried thesurface level stuff.
We try to change our behavior,we try to think positively, we
try to build habits orconsistency and sometimes we
just try to push harder.
But if your subconscious mindthat's the part of your mind
(02:25):
that makes about 95% of yourdecisions and controls your
thoughts, your feelings and youractions if it's still operating
as if you were five or sixyears old, you are always going
to feel like you're fightingyourself.
(02:49):
Most of us between the ages ofone and seven years old received
all of our beliefs aboutourselves, all of our limiting
beliefs, and many of them werenot positive.
Many of them are still holdingus back today.
Your subconscious mind is likean operating system, and if it's
running an operating system orin a script, that is saying that
you're not good enough, thatyou're always going to fail,
(03:11):
that change isn't right for youand it's not safe, that love is
conditional.
You have to be a good person tobe loved.
You'll never lose weight, you're never going to be good
enough.
If you speak up, everyone willdisown you.
If you're still hearing thosethoughts and those beliefs, then
(03:33):
it doesn't matter how manytimes you write down your goals,
it doesn't matter how manytimes you write down
affirmations.
You're going to keep pulling upthose beliefs, because those
beliefs are what are locked into your subconscious mind.
But there is really good newsbecause you can rewrite the
script and you can rewire thoselimiting beliefs and you can
(03:59):
update your subconscious beliefsthat you have, and you can do
it in a way that allows you tofeel empowered, allows you to
feel like you are aligned withyourself, because who we are
when we're born is who we aremeant to be.
But so many things happen to usin the course of our lives, our
lifetime, that we get a lot ofstuff that gets put on top of us
(04:22):
and gets put on top of allthose beautiful beliefs and all
those top of all those beautifulbeliefs and all those things
that, all those beautifulfeelings that we have about
ourselves, and we startforgetting who we truly are.
So it's time to pull all ofthat stuff out of the way and
let your true self shine through, and when you do that, that's
when your life flows, that'swhen you become unstuck and
(04:44):
that's when you achieve all thethings that you want to achieve
in your life.
Well, this kind oftransportation, transformation
that I'm talking about is thekind that I like to help my
clients with, and I do itthrough an incredibly powerful
program called rapidtransformational therapy.
And the basis of rapidtransformational therapy it's
(05:05):
based in cognitive, behavioraltherapy, neuro-linguistic
programming, talk therapy andhypnosis, and all of those
things are combined and puttogether and are used to address
, figure out limiting beliefs, address them and then rewire and
rewrite any limiting beliefsthat are holding you back.
(05:28):
And then you get your braingets reprogrammed with the
beliefs that you now want tohave, and it is incredibly
successful and incrediblypowerful.
I will tell you that yourlimiting beliefs if you're
wondering where those thingscome from, as I said, they come
from the first seven years ofyour life, and so we go back
(05:48):
into your childhood and wefigure out where do these
beliefs come from?
Why did you believe that as achild, and how do we go about
making that change and rewiringthose beliefs, and can we do it
100%?
We can do it.
You can absolutely understandhow you developed a belief, and
when you understand something, you're much more open to
(06:10):
changing it and and being opento the change.
That is a part of that processand that's what we do.
So when it.
One of the things that Irealized was when I had clients
I had most of my clients wereweight loss clients and one
thing that I realized was thatthey had they were all losing
(06:31):
weight and they were doingamazingly well, but they were
getting to this point where theycouldn't move further.
They couldn't.
They couldn't take the nextstep.
They they started sabotagingthemselves and I kept thinking
why they're doing all the thingsright?
Why are they not moving forward?
And it was because I realizedthat they had these very, very
deep seated beliefs, that theydidn't believe that they deserve
(06:52):
to lose weight for a variety ofreasons, that losing weight
wasn't safe.
It wasn't something that waswas, um, going to be a good
thing for them, and that keepingthe weight on was actually, it
was familiar and it made themfeel safe, although they didn't
really they didn't want it atall.
It was something that was safeand their subconscious mind is
responsible for keeping themsafe and that's what it was
(07:14):
going to do.
So I realized that I needed tolearn how to tap into their
subconscious mind to be able tohelp them rewire those beliefs,
and that is what I've done forthe last about year and a half
and have had incredibly,incredibly successful
experiences with clients indoing this.
(07:35):
So one of the things that I amalways thinking about is how can
I better serve those peoplethat are in my world?
And so I came up with this newsix-week program, because I
think six weeks is enough timeto be able to dig in deep and to
do a combination of thesubconscious mind work, which is
(07:56):
the hypnosis and the RTT, andthe conscious level work, which
would be new habits, new um, newuh uh routines and new, um,
different activities that you doin your life, different, you
know different ways of movingthrough your day that will help
you be able to assist yoursubconscious mind in permanently
(08:18):
making these changes.
Uh, we have to address both theconscious and the subconscious
mind, and so this programabsolutely does that.
So it is a six week programit's called six weeks to freedom
and we can address any type ofblock that is holding you back,
and you might not even know whatyour block is.
You might not even know why youfeel stuck, but you just know
(08:41):
you feel stuck.
We will figure it out and thenwe go from there.
But you get two hypnosissessions and we address the same
I the same concepts in bothhypnosis sessions.
But what I have found is whenwe're addressing something, um,
in the first session, usuallythat uncovers something that
then needs to be addressed inits own right.
(09:03):
So having the two hypnosissessions is really important
because we can really dig deepinto what this issue is and
really come at it from twodifferent angles through two
different hypnosis sessions.
And then, in between yourhypnosis sessions, you also have
pre-hypnosis sessions where youhave an intake, and those
sessions are done to support thehypnosis sessions.
You also have pre-hypnosissessions where you have an
intake, and those sessions aredone to support the hypnosis
(09:24):
session.
But then you have four coachingsessions in between and those
four coaching sessions also helpsupport you and keep you
accountable.
So you're doing all the thingsyou need to do to support your,
your changes that you are goingto be making during the hypnosis
session.
So six weeks intensive, but andagain it was only one hour a
(09:46):
week.
It's like a, it's like atherapy session, one hour a week
, and then you have a little bitmaybe 10 to 10 minutes of
things that I have you do duringthe during the rest of the week
very, very low time commitment, but huge, impactful change that
it can make in your life.
It is, and you will be providedwith lifelong tools.
(10:09):
Lifelong tools that you can useand you can and you can use
them throughout the rest of yourlife to help you always
remember the value that you have, the beliefs that you want to
carry with you and the thingsthat you want to do in your life
to make your life the best itcould be.
So, all the things there's somany things that could be
holding people back.
(10:30):
It could be emotional eating,it could be overeating, it could
be not speaking your mind in arelationship, it could be people
pleasing, it could beprocrastination, organization,
sabotaging yourself in yourpersonal life and at your work,
just overall anxiety andunhappiness.
Any of those things, anythingthat you possibly think of, can
(10:53):
be addressed, and so what Ireally want people to know, and
what I want all of you to hear,is that this is available.
So many people don't know thatthis kind of type of service is
available to them and they'reafraid of it.
They're afraid of hypnosis.
They don't know what hypnosisis and I can absolutely explain.
(11:16):
I always like to explain thatto people in a personal session.
But again, tapping into thesubconscious is not scary.
You're not out of control, you're not asleep, you're not
vulnerable.
You are just in a very light, relaxed state, and I also have
things in place that will allowyou even if you have anxiety, I
(11:38):
will allow you to be able to beat peace, to be able to allow
yourself to be able to behypnotized.
So if you have any concernsabout that, you can absolutely
take care of that as well.
But the most important thing foryou to know is that you have so
many resources available to youand you.
(11:59):
There are so many things thatyou can do to help yourself, and
the question is how that youcan do to help yourself.
And the question is how much doyou want to change?
How much do you want your lifeto be different?
Because if you want your lifeto be different, that's what I'm
here for I can help you makeyour life different and make it
exactly the way you want it tobe.
It's not simple, it's not easy, but it's worth it and it is
(12:25):
something that will change yourlife moving forward.
