This week Brewery Travels heads to The Big Apple! And to discuss the New York City beer scene, Joel is joined by Chris O’Leary, brewery traveler and beer writer of Brew York, and Miguel Rivas, photographer and content creator behind The Beer Trekker. This mega episode dives into many topics. Diversity, how the beer scenes in each borough differ, getting around the city to visit breweries, beer bars, and much more! Joel has visited over 700 breweries across 44 states plus Washington D.C. and has been able to make connections with many amazing individuals because of his travels. He is currently living on the road with his family, constantly “exploring more content and doing extensive research” (which just means visiting breweries and drinking beer)! The goal of Brewery Travels is to provide more information about craft beer scenes from around the country and shine a light on some of the excellent individual breweries that call these cities home.  From Portland, Maine to San Diego, California. Austin, Texas to Duluth, Minnesota. The bright lights of New York City to the farmland of rural Iowa. Brewery Travels plans to run the gauntlet of locations, providing in-depth information on as many places as possible.
