Bordick holds the MLB record for most consecutive error-less games and chances by a major league shortstop. He went 110 straight games without an error.  He played in the big leagues from 1990 until 2003 with stops along the way with the Oakland A’s, Baltimore Orioles (twice), the Mets, and Bluejays. He was a 2000 MLB Allstar.  He’s also been a minor league instructor, a coach, a TV analyst.
