Jeffrey Deskovic, Esq., MA, is an internationally recognized wrongful conviction expert and founder of The Jeffrey Deskovic Foundation for Justice which has freed 10 people and passed 3 laws aimed at preventing wrongful conviction.

He is an advisory board member of the coalition "It Could Happen To You", which spearheaded the passage of 4 additional laws. Jeff also serves on the Global Advisory Council for Restorative Justice International as well as co-owns the Recharge Beyond Bars Re-Entry Game.

Jeff makes frequent television, radio, print and new media appearances (Like this podcast), speaks across the country and internationally. He also regularly meets with elected officials.

He has spoken in front of police cadets, prosecutorial groups, judges and defense attorneys addressing a wide range of wrongful conviction topics.

His motivation is that he spent 16 years in prison from the age of 17 to 32 for a murder and rape that he was wrongfully convicted of.
