SPEAKER_00 (00:12):
Wow, folks, we got a
lot to go over.
I'm pivoting the show today.
I had my podcast planned that Irecord it in Turkey at the city
of Ephesus, where the ApostlePaul preached from.
I'm going to launch that onFriday.
So please come back on Friday.
And it's going to be this weekI'm going to have two podcasts
instead of one because today Ihave to go over what just took
(00:35):
place last night, what we justwoke up to.
We just woke up and I'm going tocut.
Here's a summary of what you'reabout to hear.
I'm going to go over the evilspirits, the demonic realm, and
the spiritual battle that'sbefore us.
This is the book of Isaiah.
Read the book of Isaiah thisweek.
This is what we're in.
We're living those times.
(00:56):
There are seven things that I'mgoing to talk about that we can
do to turn the tide here as anation and get back to our
biblical standards.
And I'm not saying it's a Biblethumper, these are just things
that I've been learning and Igot to share, and we need to get
there.
Repent, accept Jesus Christ, goto church, support
(01:20):
kingdom-building efforts.
Those are anyone who's in theworld of building the kingdom
here on earth through theministry, support them.
Donate to them, give to themissions.
Be in community with each other.
This sitting in a silo of yourreligion and your relationship
with God alone, that's not goingto fly anymore.
(01:41):
It's not working.
How's it working for us, folks?
In worship.
Just as King David worshiped.
I'm going to put notes in thedescription below and a
seven-day reading plan when itcomes to repentance.
I'm also going to talk about thespirit possession.
And what I believe is thatAmerica has replaced God with
(02:04):
demonic spirits.
And we're going to talk aboutthat because Jesus talks about
it.
We refer to it as the, hey, what's your company?
What's your vision?
What's your culture?
Jesus would call that yourspirit.
Are you demonic or are youheavenly?
And I'm going to go over twospecific scriptures that Jesus
(02:28):
gives an example of this spiritconversation.
And we are a nation that haskicked God out of our nation.
We have replaced it with demonicspirits.
We need to get back.
We need to turn to Jesus.
We need to turn to the Bible.
And this is what I'm going totalk about and dive into right
now.
Welcome.
Welcome to the Brady Foy JuniorShow.
(02:49):
Oh, folks, I have a question foryou.
Is what we see going on in thisin the political world is
America better off today than itwas before the election
yesterday?
(03:10):
I would argue we areexperiencing Old Testament
times.
What I mean by that is over andover again, the Jewish people
got warned warned from theprophets, for example, Isaiah,
Ezekiel, Jeremiah, over and overto repent, to turn away from
(03:36):
their evil ways, and to turnback to their creator, to stop
worshiping idols, to stop tryingto do worldly things on their
own, to get back to prayer.
And over and over, when theseprophets were considered weirdos
(03:58):
and outcasts and against, let'scall it, the politically correct
way to treat a king of the time.
And they were kind of reigningon the parade of fun, of
hedonism, of idol worship, ofmoney making, etc.
(04:19):
etc.
etc.
Boy, there is a communist mayorin New York City.
And what's crazy is the youngJewish vote that turned out to
vote for an anti-Semite.
(04:42):
And don't take debate.
The issue is not that he'sMuslim.
That's not the issue.
We have more in common with theMuslim faith than we think we
do.
All the religions and all thefaiths have a lot more in common
than we think we do.
I just spent time in Turkey,Istanbul, and then Ephesus,
(05:03):
which is the book of Ephesians.
And I did a podcast on myexperience there.
I did a podcast from Ephesus, from where the Apostle John
preached and then was exiled.
And that became a revelation ora vision of the books of the
book of Revelation, when hewarns Ephesus in the seventh in
(05:25):
the seven churches, the sevencities who fell from the favor
of God or falling from the favorof God because of their
behaviors.
And it was a warning.
So I did a podcast on that, which was going to launch today.
And I can't do that.
(05:47):
I've got to have a conversationabout the familiarity of the
times we're living in now to theOld Testament times.
Isaiah is one of my favoritebooks in the Old Testament.
Fab by Jeremiah.
And then I love what is it?
(06:09):
Ecclesiastes.
Because Ecclesiastes proves inthe book by the wisest man that
ever lived that we're justrepeating history over and over
again.
Nothing's new under the sun.
And when you read Isaiah, whichI believe is a very appropriate
book for us all to read rightnow, because it's a very
(06:31):
political, it's a very politicalof its time, okay, in of a
biblical, uh, let's say, let'ssay a godly warning on a
political sphere.
So one of the Bibles that I doread is um you know NIV, this
(06:53):
one particular Bible I want toread you, the description of
Isaiah, which, man, we areliving in those times.
This is a new, yeah, the NIV,the new international version.
So check it out, right?
The theme of Isaiah, this isn'tmy words, this is the author
describing before the book.
Because of the length of thebook of Isaiah, interactions
(07:15):
with the politics of its time, where we probably get a better
picture of Isaiah's ministrythan we do of any other prophet.
It also contains more of thewell-known classic philosophy
prophecy texts than any otherbook.
(07:35):
One commentator calls Isaiah theRomans of the Old Testament.
As in Isaiah, we get the broadperspective on how and why God
is working in history.
Both God's holiness and gracecome clearly into perspective
through a carefully throughcarefully studying this book.
(07:58):
So Isaiah warns the Jewishpeople, repent, which means to
turn and to change.
And if they don't, they will beconquered by an enemy and
enslaved.
Then Jeremiah comes along andultimately the prophecy comes
true.
(08:19):
So I am not somebody who's aBible thumper.
I happen to start reading theBible right around before before
COVID.
I go to church and I do midweekBible study.
I'm just trying to figure thislife of a Christian out.
(08:40):
Anyone who knows me knows I havemany flaws.
But I gotta tell you, afterreading the Bible, studying the
Bible, I'm not a genius, I'm nota holy person, but man, the
times we're living in call for awarning of the ways of our
country.
(09:00):
And I personally believe that ifAmerica cross-cur, um, what's
the word, course corrects, thewhole world benefits.
If you don't believe thatAmerica was founded through the
grace of God and with his, orwith our country in the palm of
(09:21):
his hand, when you look at thehistory of the of the war we
fought, of George Washington, ofthe troops being on Manhattan,
then get off the island, thenthe weather the next day, and
then the Potomac River, and the,you know, and and just all these
coincidences that happened tofavor our outcome, I believe was
(09:44):
all godly.
I believe that America was a newcountry for the Lord, our
Creator, to put in place to moveforward with Christian values.
I don't believe America is afreedom from religion.
(10:04):
I believe America is a freedomof religion.
And here's where I believe theproblem is.
We have become a nation that'sfreedom from religion.
The interpretation of beatingGod out of our school systems,
out of our colleges, out of ourinstitutions, out of our
government, out of our leadersthat are running for government,
(10:27):
that these Christians areweirdos.
And we need to stay far awayfrom it, or we need to be quiet
about our biblical beliefs.
Here's the deal (10:34):
that's not what
the Lord positioned America for.
Our founders created aconstitution that said freedom
of religion, not freedom fromreligion.
And after spending time inTurkey and being in that country
(10:56):
for their 102nd, 102 years ofthe anniversary of the republic,
of their freedom, and witnessingthis pride and watching the
Muslim faith in action, it had aprofound impact on me.
An impact I believe is a pivotfor what I hope to be my
(11:20):
behavior and my Christ journeybecoming a lot more serious.
And what I'm talking aboutspecifically is how America has
run or ran away from the Lord, just as the Jews have in the Old
Testament over and over againand are warned.
And if they did not heed thewarning and turn back to the
(11:43):
Lord and repent, they would beconquered, they would be
enslaved, and they would beremoved and scattered throughout
the earth, which is exactly whathappened.
And I'll go over thosesituations, those specific
biblical texts in futurepodcasts.
But I'm just giving you adownload because of the election
(12:04):
outcome.
I'm not talking about NewJersey, I'm not talking about
Virginia, I'm talking about NewYork City that just elected a
communist.
And it's not because he'sMuslim.
I'm gonna say that again.
Putin is not Muslim, he's acommunist.
North Korean leadership, China, these people are demonic
(12:31):
communists.
And I don't care what religiouswhat religion they are, it's got
nothing to do with that.
Don't take the bait that is aMuslim.
And that's a problem.
That's not the problem.
Muslims are not the problem.
Of course, every religion, everygroup, every people have the
(12:51):
radicals.
I'm not talking about theradical jihad movement.
I'm not talking about that.
I'm not talking, I'm not gonnabring in the crazy Christian
conversation.
I'm talking about, when I saycrazy Christian, I mean people
who molested children and thethings that happened through the
cloth or the identity of it.
(13:12):
I'm not going down to the bowsof the boat of the crazies, of
the mentally ill, of thepsychologically impacted, sick,
demonic people.
I'm talking about the majorityof a religion of a people.
Don't take the bait that this Icall him Zoolander and the new
(13:36):
mayor of um New York City.
I say Zoolander because it's aTV show.
Like Ben Stiller would play thisrole.
It's so outlandish and soridiculous that it would never
happen.
So he's Zoolander to me.
Because that's how preposterouswhat's happening in Manhattan.
(13:57):
And I've been trying to get offof one of the scriptures I keep
quoting in the early episodes.
Okay, let me turn my light onhere.
I think it's Isaiah 520.
Take a look here, real quick.
Sorry, gang.
(14:18):
Yeah, 520.
Woe to those who call evil goodand good evil, who put darkness
for light and light fordarkness, who put bitter for
sweet and sweet for bitter.
Right?
I mean, we're seeing anupside-down world.
Men can dress as a woman andplay against women's sports,
they can go in women's lockerrooms.
(14:40):
We can have California withnewsome pass bills, that parents
don't have to be involved in thedecisions of the castration of
their sons and a changing oftheir sex.
We are in a completelyupside-down world where the
truth is a lie and a lie is atruth.
(15:01):
That's biblical, that's demonic,and our country needs a radical,
quick emergency break pulled, a180 turn, and we have got to
start getting back to ourChristian value system.
(15:22):
We it just it's it's necessaryand it's absolutely urgent if we
want to save our country.
We had the greatest generationhave to storm beaches and run
into a flurry of bullets.
Can you imagine if all we had todo, our generation, our
(15:45):
children, is turn back to ourbiblical values?
And I know it sounds crazy andit sounds weird because we've
been all told to hide ourbiblical values, to not to feel
bad for people and not push ourbelief system.
That's not biblical.
That's not the Bible.
That's demonic.
(16:05):
What if all we had to do isrepent, is accept Jesus Christ,
is to go to church, is to readthe Bible, then support people
that are building the kingdomhere on earth, pastors, priests,
rabbis, and then be in communitytogether, supporting each other,
(16:30):
reminding each other of ourChristian values, and then
worship, just out loudworshiping God.
These are all biblical standardsto stay on the course of a
righteous nation.
What if all we had to do wasseven things?
We don't have to storm a beach,we don't have to have cannons
(16:53):
fired at us or jump out ofplanes.
What if all we had to do isrepent, accept Jesus Christ as
our Lord and Savior, go tochurch, read the Bible daily,
support those that are buildingthe kingdom here on earth, God's
kingdom here on earth, be incommunity.
(17:13):
Well, I don't have to go tochurch, have a relationship with
God.
Great, but it's not just aboutyou, it's about our nation, it's
about people who need you inchurch that perhaps you can help
them through what they're goingthrough.
And then you get to held the be,we get to be held accountable by
showing up with our behaviorsthrough our community.
And then worship.
(17:35):
King David has a whole book onworship, the book of Psalms.
It's King David worshiping God.
We as Christians have got to getback to our foundation.
We've got to stop apologizingfor having a biblical Christian
(17:58):
belief system.
We have got to get back to thespirit of God in our children,
in our homes, in ourinstitutions, in our schools,
and we have to do it boldly.
We have to do it quickly.
Repent means a turn.
It means to turn, it means topivot.
We need to pivot from ourdemonic behavior and our demonic
(18:23):
ways and our apologeticChristian views to be more bold,
outspoken in leading our countryback to church, back to the
book, back to the Bible.
Gang whatever does not have aChristian value, will have
(18:49):
another value system.
And we call it what's theculture, the Bible calls it the
spirit.
What's the spirit?
What's the realm?
Is it heavenly or is it demonic?
The spirit of our nation, ifit's empty and we're not going
(19:10):
to fill it with Christianvalues, it will be demonic.
Specifically, biblically, Jesustalks about this.
In the book of Matthew, theGospel of Matthew, Jesus goes
and removes a demon from apossessed man, that the demons
(19:32):
possess him, casts the demons tothe pig, pen, and then the pigs
run off the cliff.
And then you jump to the book ofMatthew.
And his this is what I'm reallywhat's really impacted me in
observing our ways as a nationand studying our history.
(19:54):
So check this out.
The Gospel of Matthew, chapter12, verse 43 through 45.
This is the point Jesus ismaking, and this hopefully you
can see the parallels to what'sgoing on in our country.
When an impure spirit comes outof a person, it goes through it
(20:18):
goes through arid places seekingrest and does not find it.
Then it says, I will return tothe house I left.
When it arrives, it finds ahouse unoccupied, swept cleaned,
and put in order.
Then it goes in and takes withit seven other spirits more
(20:42):
wicked than itself.
And they go in and they livethere.
And the final condition of thatperson is worse than the first.
That is how it will be with thewicked generation.
The point in my interpretationand reading the full gospel is
(21:05):
that we have a spirit.
And when we become witnesses ofChrist and we He cleans us up,
He we repent, we then have anempty house that a spirit will
come occupy.
And it will either be a demonicspirit that's going to be much
(21:30):
worse than we were in the firstplace, or it's going to be a
heavenly spirit.
If you look, what I'm trying tosay is our country was founded
on godly values.
We have pounded God out of ourinstitution, out of our
educational system, out of oursociety.
(21:51):
And it was, and so we've cleanedit up for the sake of political
correctness and not makingpeople feel feel bad about
themselves and not push ourbelief system on someone.
What happened was we created anempty vessel all throughout our
(22:12):
nation.
And those vessels were educationsystems, were political offices,
were uh company cultures, werecolleges, et cetera, et cetera,
et cetera.
And what happened was they werethey got replaced with demonic
(22:32):
spirits, with a dark evil realm.
They saw these emptyopportunities and they went and
they squatted.
Just like if you have an emptyhouse, it sits empty, someone
goes in and squats.
And that's someone usually isnot a righteous person that's
gonna send you a rent check.
It's typically a demonic personthat's gonna take advantage and
(22:54):
live as for free as long as theypossibly can.
Folks, our nation has beenwhitewashed, has been bleached
out of the Lord, of God.
I know, I mean, I grew up in it.
I'm ashamed I wasn't more intothe Bible 10 years ago, 20 years
(23:17):
ago.
This is something I just startedsticking my teeth into in 2019,
and then really diving intoduring COVID and becoming
obsessed with the word andgetting in my head and doubting
it and then getting back to itand speaking to people in
Christian communities.
And I'm on this journey that hascompletely blown my mind.
(23:39):
And when you see New York Citybeing taken over by communists,
this is biblical.
New York City is a demonicisland with demonic behaviors
everywhere, and the lie is nowthe truth, and the truth is a
lie.
(24:01):
Our nation will go down thatroad.
This isn't about Democrats, thisisn't about Republicans, this
isn't about vaccinated,non-vaccinated.
Those are all categories thatthe devil has put in our world
and our new system and in ourminds.
This is about heavenly realms ordemonic realms.
(24:23):
When I get angry and I get roadrage, am I heavenly or am I
demonic?
That's a demonic behavior.
Everything we do, every law wepass, every behavior we exhibit
falls into one of twocategories.
Is it demonic or is it heavenly?
(24:44):
And unfortunately, most of thebehavior we're exhibiting as a
nation, more and more, isfalling into a demonic bucket.
We've opened the vessel to beoccupied by demons, by the
devil, because we've beenembarrassed over our Christian
(25:07):
faith.
And I wanted to talk about thispodcast.
I'm gonna talk about it nextweek.
To witness what I witnessed inthe mosques of Turkey, and I'm
not it, I'm learning this Muslimfaith, this Muslim lifestyle,
this Islamic um belief, religion, and I'm studying it
(25:32):
and I'm having conversationswith Muslims, and I'm
understanding that theirunapologetic worship, their
unapologetic values that theyhave, they're not hiding who
they are and what they believein.
(25:52):
They're out there, they're inpublic, and they're on full
display.
That's what Jesus wants usChristians being.
When I got pulled into thismosque, which I would never walk
into in a million years, I findmyself walking into a mosque in
Istanbul, put my shoes off, mywife has her scarf around her
(26:14):
head, and we just walked in.
And what the Holy Spirit showedme was what he expects me to do,
what he expects other Christiansto do, to live unapologetically
in the open forum, in community, with our faith forward, not our
(26:38):
faith hidden in a closet, notour faith shrunk and diluted for
the sake of popularity, for thesake of not being an outcast.
Isaiah was an outcast.
Jeremiah was an outcast.
Biblical people were outcasts, biblical prophets, saviors,
(27:05):
believers.
Jesus was an outcast.
He couldn't preach in his owntown.
Jesus was an outcast.
He was crucified.
Religious order had himcrucified.
It was political.
(27:26):
It was power.
It was power structure.
It was demonic.
Politics is the demonic realm.
The Bible talks about it.
Well, we're not supposed to beinvolved in politics.
Where does it say that in theBible?
Yes, we are.
(27:47):
Stop apologizing for our faith.
Please.
We've got to get our nation backto church.
Get over church hurt.
Get over any opinion I have ofit.
Get over this selfish.
Well, I don't need to have arelationship with them.
I can just sit out on myautomatic chair and I can talk
to them.
Yeah, you can do all thosethings.
(28:09):
But our nation, our communityneeds us all together.
We need to fight this demonicspirit.
We need to pound it out of ournation.
We need to stop its spread.
And don't, I'm going to say itagain, folks, don't take the
bait that this crazy newcommunist that we're unhappy
(28:31):
that is Muslim.
That's his no, no, no, no, no.
That's taking a bait.
Let's stop these religious warsagainst each other.
We have all have more in commonthan you think we do.
And I'm going to talk about whatI learned in Turkey in deep,
deep conversation.
(28:52):
Y'all know I can have aconversation with a door handle,
a doorknob I can talk to.
Can you imagine theconversations I had with people
of the Muslim faith that I wasin their realm for five days,
completely taken back andinspired by their unapologetic,
(29:14):
faith-forward behavior, ascompared to our Christian hide
in a closet, and shh, let's notoffend anyone behavior.
Biblically, we need to pivotback to our foundation, stop
apologizing.
(29:35):
Yes, we're all hypocrites, yes,we're all sinners.
The greatest sin of all lovelove love the Lord, but love the
greatest command of all, lovethe Lord, and then love your
neighbor as you love yourself.
Baby, that's the secondcommandment.
(29:58):
Not all this other stuff thatwe're judging each other on.
We're all guilty of that.
So we're all hypocrites, we allfall short of the glory of God,
but Jesus Christ was crucified,he was raised from the Dead for
our hypocritical behavior.
We need to accept him.
(30:18):
We need to pivot as a nationtogether back to the glory of
God.
We don't need to storm beaches.
We don't need to grab guns.
We don't need to be afraid ofother religions.
America is a country freedom ofreligion, not freedom from
religion.
Let's stop treating it as acountry freedom from religion.
(30:42):
Let's get out there.
Let's all figure this Jesusjourney out together.
And perhaps we can turn from ourways and we can prevent our
nation from being handed over tothe evil one.
Because right now, we woke up ina country that's more evil or
(31:03):
that's worse off than it wasyesterday.
Specifically, a communist leaderof New York City that was voted
in by the very people hedespises.
Specifically, young voters, gayvoters, Jewish voters.
(31:29):
It's just, it's it's blowing mymind that this man was elected
with his demonic anti-Semite outin the public opinion.
He's a communist and he's nowrunning New York City.
And this is what's going tohappen throughout our nation if
(31:50):
we do not repent.
He's a communist.
Again, don't take the bait thathe's a Muslim.
That's not the problem.
We'll talk about that on thenext podcast.
He's a communist.
There's communists that were ofthe Christian faith that backed
(32:13):
Hitler back in World War II.
So don't be this ping-pong ofthe bucket of what their faith
is.
He's a communist.
That's it.
He's a commie.
And he's running the largestcity in the world.
Stay tuned for next week.
(32:35):
I've got a great conversation Iwant to have with you about what
I've learned in my journey inTurkey and just the spiritual
like sledgehammer that hit me inthe face.
Have a great week and get tochurch.
