We continue with just myjourney.
I'm sharing a journey that I'vebeen on for the last seven years
biblically.
I'm not a holy one.
I do not think I am above anyoneelse.
I'm a sinner.
I do that believe that JesusChrist is my Lord and Savior.
And I have been shy on or lackcourage in sharing my journey.

I have had a vision of a podcastof sharing my journey
biblically.
It has been critiqued and warnedthat I shouldn't do it.
And at the Charlie Kirkassassination, I just I'm not
going to hold back.
And I'm not doing this to judgeanyone.
I'm doing this just for my ownpractice and taking you along

that practice journey andhopefully it helps you too.
I say this.
I play the guitar.
I've been trying to learn it for10 years.
I'm not that good.
And every video I watch online,or whenever I'm with an
instructor, I'm just like, whoa,slow down.
Like, do you remember how hardthis chord was or how hard this
pattern was?
I feel like people who areinstructing sometimes are so far

removed from the experience of abeginner that it's hard for us
new people to learn.
So I figured, why can't I sharethe Bible as someone who's been
into it for seven years?
Share it now before I know itmore, that I become disconnected
with what it was like not toknow the Bible.

(01:42):
So I just want to share thejourney with you on a layman's
term, not a scholar, and takeyou through some things that
have impacted me.
And when I read the Bible, whatreally hit me in the Old
Testament, two books really hitme hard.
And that's that's uhEcclesiastes and Isaiah.
But Isaiah, what really kind ofpunched me in the face to get my

attention was Isaiah 5, 20 and21.
Woe to those who call evil goodand good evil, who put darkness
for light and light fordarkness, who put bitter for
sweet and sweet for bitter.
I'm reading the NIV version.
There's multiple versions of theBible.
They're just translations intodifferent verbs and words.

(02:33):
So why that hit me?
Woe to those who call evil goodand good evil, who put darkness
for light and light fordarkness.
That really hit me in the lastfour to five years because of
what was happening in oursociety.
The apologetic behavior ofChristians over the past 50

(02:53):
years on we can't judge, let'skeep it to ourselves, and
whatever happens, happens.
It is what it is.
To me, that's a cowardly wayout.
Charlie has proven that's thewrong way because of his now,
let's say, the awareness thatthe people are having to his
faith, which is my faith, not mydeep, not as deep as him.

(03:16):
I'm at the same belief system.
And Charlie unapologeticallywent out there and told the
truth to the youth, which we'regoing to get into in a minute,
and Isaiah 1.
But men are women, women aremen, men can play women's
sports.
It's not a sin to have anabortion.
You can have it and celebrate itand drink champagne about it.

Those aren't riots and burningfires in the background.
All this behavior of news andwhat's being put in our face in
social media, it's upside down,which is really Isaiah 20, 21.
We're living in an upside-downworld.
And so were the Jewish people ofthe times of Isaiah, right?

Which is before Christ.
This is an Old Testament book.
Jesus Christ references Isaiah.
We'll go over one of thereferences today in Luke.
So this is a very legitimatebook.
I think the whole Bible islegitimate.
Isaiah in particular reminds meof when the Jewish people went
astray and away from God andthey were considering what was

good, evil, and what was evil,good.
What was black was white.
What was up was down.
What was sweet was sour.
What was sweet for bitter.
So, and then they kind of ontheir own wise, their own wisdom
in order to discern things, andthey didn't turn to God in
prayer.

(04:47):
To those, and that's 21, 521,woe to those who are wise in
their own eyes and clever intheir own sight.
I mean, that's all over theplace.
I can play rear, real after realafter real of this happening in
our country with the media.
It's just lies, right?
And one, where is it?
One four, woe to the civilnation, a people whose guilt is

great, a broad of evildoers,children given to corruption.
Our children have been hijacked,their minds have been hijacked,
and they're running aroundprotesting the opposite, the
opposite point of view,assassinating, shooting up
churches, going after anypro-lifers, and just there's

(05:35):
this army of evildoers.
And I believe it's all bydesign.
And when I say that, you keephearing spiritual battle.
This is a spiritual battle.
And one thing I've learned thatI hope I can get across here is
that, first of all, everythingthat we're doing and seeing has
been done before.
None of this is new to God.

(05:58):
It happened with the Jewishpeople as they were going to the
promised land, after they foundthe promised land, et cetera, et
cetera.
Right?
And he says it in Ecclesiastes.
I'm flipping the pages here.
Ecclesiastes, meaningless,meaningless, says the teacher,
utterly meaningless.
Everything is meaningless.

(06:19):
What did people gain from alltheir labors at which they toil
under the sun?
Generations come and generationsgo, but the earth remains
forever.
The sun rises, the sun sets, andhurries back to where it rises.
The wind blows to the south andturns to the north.
Round and round it goes, everreturning on its course.

(06:41):
All streams flow into the sea,yet the sea is never full.
To the place of the streamscome, there they will return
again.
All things are worrisome, morethan one can say.
The eye never has enough ofseeing, nor the ear its fill of

(07:01):
hearing.
What has been will be again.
What has been done will be doneagain.
There's nothing new under thesun.
Is there anything of which onecan say, look, there's something
new?
It was already here long ago.
It was here before our time.

(07:24):
No one remembers a formergeneration, and even those yet
to come will not be rememberedby those who follow them.
Ecclesiastes chapter 1.
So between Isaiah andEcclesiastes, it's whoa.
This has all been done before.
We're all kidding ourselves ifwe think we're different than
those that were in the past,those that struggled with God,

(07:47):
and nations that rebelledagainst God.
And here we are.
We're a nation rebelling againstGod.
We are in a spiritual battle,and the only way out of it is to
turn back to Christ.
That's what I've learned.
We all have our free will, andI'm just showing you the impact
that the word has had on me inrealizing that what's happening

(08:09):
today happened in ancientbiblical days before Christ,
after Christ, and here we are in2025, living the same demonic
spiritual battle that's amongus.
And the quicker we see it, thequicker we understand it, the

(08:31):
better we're going to beequipped to battle it.
And I'm not judging people ofthe opposite position that I am.
I'm just sharing with youbiblical standards.
That is the truth in my worldand in the Christian world.
And when you hear Christiannationalists and the liberal

(08:52):
media trying to victimizeChristians, what that is, is
spiritual and of the demonicrealm.
That's what I've learned.
What is a demonic realm?
I'm going to do a podcast withone of my pastors, and we're
going to go through the demonicrealm and the spiritual battle
that we're in.
He's a pastor that gave me someincredible books to read that

(09:15):
have completely opened my eyesand blown my mind.
There are demons there, whichare darkness, and there is a
spiritual world that is light,which is good and godly, that is
in our world.
And when we look at things, whatI've, by the way, I have demonic

(09:37):
behavior.
When I want to pull somebodyover in a car and cut me off and
rip them out of the car, that'snot heavenly.
That's not kingdom.
That's demonic.
That's evil.
That's a demonic evil spiritthat enters me that wants to rip
a guy out of the car and hurthim because he cut me off or
stopped too fast.
Right?
And I can go on and on with thecross that I carry and the sin

(09:57):
that I have, that I praise Godthat Jesus Christ was crucified,
was raised again from the dead,was nailed to a cross for my
transgressions.
Praise the Lord, praise Jesusfor that.
Okay, now, and He has, God hasgiven me grace because of that.
Does not make me sinless.
So spiritual battle.

(10:22):
When I read the Bible and I readthese materials and these
supplemental readings, whetherit's Hillsdale College or credit
um certification, certifiedcourses, or it's books that my
pastors give me, or it'sconversations, what I began
doing is putting every situationinto one of two buckets.

(10:42):
Demonic, godly.
I get a phone call.
Can you believe that thepresident has made abortion
illegal?
First of all, it's falseinformation.
He kicked it back to the states.
That's a constitutionalconversation, or it's a
spiritual conversation.
So whenever I get a conversationwith somebody about abortion,

first of all, everyone has theirfree will.
I get that.
However, we do have to talkabout the truth.
Is killing someone or somethingdemonic or godly in the world of
a Christian?
So when you're, even if youdon't believe you don't believe
in Jesus, you have to understandwhere people of Christ are
coming from.
And what people of Christ aregonna start doing more, and

(11:26):
people who are really in theword have been doing forever, is
putting every conversation,situation politically, socially,
or otherwise into one or twobuckets.
Is it demonic or is it heavenly?
Buddy getting angry at a car ona highway, demonic.

(11:48):
Buddy sitting here reading theBible and meditating on a word
and sharing it with hislisteners, that's godly.
Doesn't make me perfect.
It just means this activity thatI am participating in at this
moment is godly, and I want tobe doing more of those, not less
of those.
I want to be doing less of theroad rage and more of the

(12:10):
biblical kingdom building.
So spiritual warfare issomething that I've learned to
understand, and there's a termthat I've learned from people
that I speak with whosefingerprints are on that.
Look at Charlie Kirk's murder.
Well, that was God's will.
No, God turns evil into good.

(12:33):
God wins all the time, the devilloses, he's a liar, he's a
thief, and the devil burns in asulfur burning lake of sulfur
fire at the end.
Like he loses, it's already beendetermined.
The Lord and God defeats himwith Jesus Christ at the cross,
and Jesus Christ was uh uh uhresurrected.

(12:56):
And we'll go over more of thatwith some pastors.
But my point is what is mypoint?
My point is our activities arewhat are we doing?
What with the events that arehappening before us?
Are they spiritual?
Yes.
Okay, now that they'respiritual, everything is
spiritual.
It's spiritual, it's a spiritualworld we live in.

(13:19):
Are they demonic activities?
Is it a demonic message or is itheavenly?
Is it of the kingdom?
Charlie Kirk's murder has thefingerprints of the devil over
it.
Again, Charlie Kirk's murder hasthe fingerprints of the devil
all over it.
God does not destroy, He builds.

(13:40):
So Charlie's murder was thedevil.
The result of Charlie's murderis becoming a kingdom-building
event.
And I had to pivot to kingdombuilding.
And these are things I'm gonnago into with pastors so that you
can hear from the experts,biblical people, biblical
scholars, people who are in theword 24-7.

(14:02):
Kingdom, the kingdom, kingdombuilding is a term that I've
learned since I've been going tochurch and reading the Bible.
This is a term used toillustrate or to execute kingdom
on earth, building God's kingdomhere in the world of earth.

(14:25):
You have the heavenly realm, andthen you have the world that we
live in.
The world is filled with thespirit war that we've already
discussed, and then how do weplant the kingdom here on earth?
That's the our, you know, ourFather who art in heaven,
hallowed be thy name, thykingdom come, thy will be done

(14:46):
on earth as it is in heaven, theLord's prayer.
That is a term used byChristians to make sure that the
activity and the behavior thatwe are portraying and exuding
and executing builds the kingdomof God versus embarrassing the

(15:09):
kingdom or depleting thekingdom.
We want to build the kingdomhere on earth with our
behaviors, our tithes, ourefforts, our prayers, our
behaviors again.
So spiritual battle, kingdombuilding, the fingerprint of the
Lord versus the fingerprint ofthe enemy, the devil.

(15:32):
And those are played out in theBible.
It's all over it.
The spiritual warfare is allover the pages in these books,
yes, books with an S plural.
The Bible's not one book, it'smany.
I think 66.
Yeah, 66 books in the Bible.

(15:55):
And as we wrap up here, I saidin the beginning of the podcast
that I would go over theconnection between Isaiah and
Jesus in the New Testament.
So there's there's many, but I'mgonna read Luke 4, 16.
He went to Nazareth, where hehad been brought up, and on the

(16:19):
Sabbath day he went into thesynagogue, as was his custom.
This is Jesus.
He was Jewish, remember.
He stood up to read, and thescroll of the prophet Isaiah was
handed to him.
Unrolling it, he found the placewhere it was written.
The Spirit of the Lord is onhim, because he has anointed me

(16:42):
to proclaim good news to thepoor.
He has sent me to proclaimfreedom for the prisoners and
recovery of sight for the blind.
He set the oppressed free toproclaim the year of the Lord's
favor.
Jesus rolled up the scroll, gaveit back to the attendant, and

(17:04):
sat down.
The eyes of everyone in thesynagogue were fascinated on
him.
He began saying to them, Today,this scripture is fulfilled in
you hearing.
Can you imagine?
Now, this is the religiousorder.
They had just this is where itstarts.
Jesus starts getting hunted.

(17:26):
Who is he?
That's blasphemy.
So that's just one reference ofJesus with uh and the prophet of
Isaiah, Jesus referencingIsaiah.
And part of the reason why it'sone of my favorite books, right?
So most of the back then youdidn't have a Bible.
They had to go to a synagogueand scroll.

(17:46):
There were many scrolls as ahead said.
There's 66 books in the Bible,and part of that is the Old
Testament, and they were scrollsthat are now in print form.
And he's referring to Isaiah 61.
When I say he, obviously thegreat one, Jesus Christ, when
he's reading 4 16 through 40through 21, he is referring to

(18:12):
Isaiah 61.
And again, Isaiah is one of myfavorite books in the Bible.
Ecclesiastes, one of myfavorite.
And I always say to people, becareful, I'm reading the Old
Testament.
You'll know what I mean if youpick it up.
So my biggest advice to peopleout there that have been talking
to me, DMing me, saying, youknow, how do I get into God?
What do I do?

(18:33):
I, you know, I was a Catholic, Iwent to a Catholic church.
I have nothing against theCatholic Church.
I know now go to anon-dominational church.
That's just where the Lord putme.
It's a Bible reading church.
So whether you're Catholic,Presbyterian, non-dominational,
Jewish, what I tell people isyou get, you know, I give my
friends a hard time.

(18:53):
If you took Rosh Hashanah off, Ihope you're going to the
synagogue.
And more than just during thehigh holy days.
And as Christians, as believersin Christ, I hope you're going
to church and not just duringour high holy days.
There's a term I'll I'll bringup in one of my podcasts that my

(19:16):
pastor uses, referring to peoplewho go only during the holidays.
I think uh we'll do I'm gonnamess that up.
So, anyhow, I'm just sharing myjourney, folks.
This is a non-judgmentalconversation, sharing my journey
that uh the Holy Spirit has justcome upon me and what I've

learned about the Holy Spirit,and what I've learned about the
word, what I've learned aboutChristianity, and what I've
witnessed myself in my ownrelationship, and what I have
witnessed with others around meand the impact and the miracles
can only be described as onething the heavenly realm.
