Sunday's USA Today 301 at New Hampshire motor speedway became a test of the wet weather package for the first time in a points paying race. Amazingly we saw five wide racing on the mile oval as teams raced the wet weather tire. Christopher Bell had a fast car in the dry but especially on the wet, leading to Bell's third victory this season, and second of the weekend after winning Saturday's Xfinity race.

Weather impacted the day in more way than one, as rain delayed the Indy 500 killing Kyle Larsons chance at running the double. Larson completed the Indy 500 and flew back to Charlotte bringing the rain with him. Christopher Bell had a strong lead when the final caution of the night came out, CBell would be announced the winner a few hours later when NASCAR called the race official.
