SPEAKER_00 (00:01):
Welcome to the
business You're part of this
(00:32):
heart-centered business movementtoo.
Who we are becoming will changebusiness as we know it, and it
will change the world.
Hey friends, thank you so muchfor joining me here this week.
I am so excited to share somestories with you, to share some
(00:54):
updates with you, and ultimatelyto share things that are going
to make a huge difference inyour life as well, that are
going to help you up-level inyour business, that are going to
help you become a new version ofyourself.
So this week, I want to talk toyou about self-doubt, because
(01:14):
even when we know so much, evenwhen we have the right answers
already, we still doubtourselves sometimes.
And I think I'd already shared alittle bit with you, but I had
been struggling for quite sometime.
I was a little bit frustratedwith how business was going for
me the past couple months sinceI left my finance career in
(01:37):
April.
And to an extent, I think I wasa little bit impatient with
certain things and I wasn't asready for it to be as difficult
as it was.
But there were also things thatI had to move through that I
didn't expect to have to healand move through within this
certain period of time to beable to show up as this version
(01:57):
for you.
And I also didn't expect to havethe massive doubt that I had.
I didn't expect to have themassive lack of clarity and
misalignment.
I genuinely thought possibly byMay or especially by June,
things would be moving along atleast at a decent pace.
And truthfully, not a whole lothas happened.
(02:18):
Now, I do have to Be consciousof the fact that a lot has
happened internally, but what Imean is I haven't seen a lot
happen financially.
Now, I haven't seen anything badhappen.
It's not like something's beenripped away from me, but
something clearly still wasn'tclicking.
(02:38):
And so I've been struggling withthat a lot recently, including
whether or not I was going tocontinue doing the consulting
work, including whether or notthe business was going to look
exactly like it currently does.
And I just knew something wasoff, but I kept getting signs
that I was close to getting theclarity I needed, that I was
close to moving through some ofthe things that I was working
(03:01):
on.
So I tried to be patient and Itried to slow down because
that's also what I'm teachingyou.
If I'm out here saying we needto be heart-centered, we need to
love what we do, we need to...
be in integrity with ourselves.
We need to be accountable toourselves.
We need to nourish ourselves.
We need to be capable of workingat a different pace and not
(03:22):
hustling the same way that wewere taught to.
If we're going to do all ofthese things differently, and
I'm going to try to be a leaderin that, then I also have to do
those things myself.
And I want you to know that evenas you feel uncomfortable
starting to learn how to do someof these things, like slowing
down and not...
(03:44):
working yourself to death allthe time.
I'm struggling in the same waythat you are.
And sometimes it really doescreep up on you because like I
said, I didn't expect it.
I didn't expect to struggle toslow down so much.
I didn't expect to strugglethrough healing some of these
things so much.
I definitely didn't expect tostruggle with clarity so much.
(04:05):
I thought when I left my job inApril that I really had a lot of
clarity and I thought I wasready to go.
But the fact is, is that Iwasn't And I probably should
have taken some time for myselfand I did.
And I kind of jumped in rightaway.
And so now here we are where I'mtalking to you when I have the
(04:27):
most clarity that I've hadpossibly ever.
All of a sudden things havechanged this week.
And I also want to let you knowbefore I really jump into the
details of what happened and howyou might also move through the
doubt and the clarity is it canhappen for you at any moment.
(04:49):
And you really have to shifttowards that mindset, not in a
way where you're forcingyourself to think that You know,
oh, I can make a million dollarstomorrow because ultimately your
brain and essentially like thespiritual energies and like
(05:10):
spiritual realms don't line upif you're just pretending.
So you can't tell yourselfsomething that you just don't
believe entirely.
You do have to kind of workthrough some of that leveling
up.
You might tell yourself, youknow, it could happen for me at
any moment twice this week, andyou might barely believe it.
You might tell yourself fivetimes next week, and you might
(05:33):
start to believe it a little bitmore, but you have to be okay
with the fact that you're notnecessarily going to change your
mindset or you're going toessentially force your nervous
system to build more capacityand to feel more comfortable
right now.
But that doesn't mean that youcan't do it tomorrow.
And so because I've been sittingwith a lot of hard feelings and
(05:56):
because I've faced things veryhead on, I've made changes that
would have previously takenmonths or years in weeks or
days.
And the pacing doesn't reallymatter.
It's not that one's right orwrong.
It doesn't matter if it wouldhave taken me months.
And I would have had to figureout some other way to make money
(06:17):
or survive or whatever.
Like if that's what this journeywas for me, then that is what it
is.
I don't want you to beatyourself up as I'm saying this.
I just want you to know thatit's possible to move through
things very quickly.
And as you're growing, one ofthe signs that you'll notice
that can maybe help you with theself doubt is you'll realize how
(06:41):
much quicker you're movingthrough something that you would
have before.
And, and trust me, you'll,you'll know what I'm talking
about.
I get that.
You can't know exactly howsomething would have happened,
but trust me, you'll know if, ifyou would have spiraled because
of a particular thing happening, you'll know if, you know, not
(07:02):
getting paid, uh, my clients foran entire month would have just
like ruined you for the rest ofthe year.
But instead you found a way tomove through that discomfort
and, and grow through thatwithin a few days, you'll be
able to see that.
And I promise you you're growingand you're, and you've done so
much more than you even realize.
(07:22):
And you're already much morecapable than you realize.
So to bring you into more ofwhat happened.
So I've had kind of a few thingscoming to a head, if you will.
I have struggled to feel worthy.
I have struggled to feel like Ideserve anything, especially
(07:44):
financial abundance, without alot of suffering.
And I would even say I evenwithout the suffering, I still
didn't necessarily believe Ideserved it.
But, but I believed if I wasgoing to get anything, it was
going to be through a lot ofpain and suffering.
And it was going to be throughjust like me getting like
(08:08):
cracked open me just like, youknow, think like laying on the
bathroom floor, just, just like, okay, I give up like universe,
like whatever you need.
And so I was, doing that withmoney.
And then I was also really doingthat with clients as well.
(08:29):
When I would show up to thispodcast or I would show up on
LinkedIn or whatever, I didn'tnecessarily believe that you
were going to hear me or youwere going to see me or my
message was going to resonatewith you.
I had these beliefs in the backof my mind that eventually I I
(08:49):
would become the version ofmyself that was capable, but I
just kept telling myself Iwasn't there yet.
And because I knew I was bumpingup against these things, like I
knew I was still bumping upagainst this scarcity, and that
maybe I had even built thebusiness off of that scarcity,
and that I wasn't supposed to bedoing this consulting at all,
(09:11):
that just really messed with me.
Because I didn't know left fromright.
I felt like I was just incomplete darkness within myself.
I didn't know where the pathwas.
I didn't even know what the nextstep was.
And so I really had to slowdown.
(09:33):
in a way that was extremelyuncomfortable.
And I had to sit with a lot ofthings.
I had to sit with feelings aboutmy own worth and how much I've
gone through in the past fewweeks.
And it was very, very tender.
But I sat there anyway because Iknew exactly what that was going
(09:54):
to do.
I knew that I wanted to show updifferently here for you.
So the thing that really startedto...
catalyze all of the self-doubtand catalyze all of the issues
besides the fact that I washealing through just sitting
with my feelings and just kindof letting them happen, not
trying to do anything about it,not trying to avoid it, not
(10:15):
trying to fix it, not anythinglike that.
I started seeing some videos onTikTok especially, and actually
I saw a couple LinkedIn posts.
So I saw some social media postsand videos that really struck
me.
And it was things related to Weneed your voice.
The world needs your voice.
You need to step up and you needto share.
(10:36):
And obviously that sounds reallygeneral, but one thing you'll
notice is when you slow down, whether it's clarity for
business or it's clarity forother personal things, I mean,
all of it's really kind of onein the same.
When you slow down, what you'llnotice is that the words or
(10:57):
phrases that are used willconnect with you.
even if they seem meaninglessotherwise.
Like to you, seeing a video thatsays like, you have to share
your voice, like we need you,may not hit the same way.
It may make you consider movingforward and sharing more of your
(11:18):
story or starting a business orbecoming a leader or whatever it
is, but it may not activate youin a certain way.
It may not just really triggerpeople Something very specific.
I would, I would even call itlike it's, you're not going to
feel it in your bones.
You're just not going to feel itin your heart the same way.
(11:38):
But when I was hearing andseeing these posts, it was
resonating with me so deeply.
And I was like, yeah, you'reright.
Like they do need me.
And I'm still not showing up theway that I need to be showing
up.
And it was, I was like, okay, wehave got to figure this out.
I cannot wait any longer.
I need to show up.
(11:58):
So July 4th comes around and Ididn't really have any plans.
I was just going to sit at thepool all day.
Um, I don't particularly carefor dry July 4th for various
reasons.
Um, And I didn't have anyfriends, at least as of the week
of July 4th, that had asked meto come do anything with them.
(12:20):
So I was like, I'm just going torelax.
I'm not going to do any work.
Or I may do a few things, butI'm mostly just going to sit by
the pool and relax and just notreally think about any of this.
So I start thinking, maybe I'llpost a video on TikTok before I
go out to the pool.
The reason why I was thinkingthat, besides the fact that I've
(12:42):
been seeing all of these thingsthat were telling me to share my
voice, is because I have thisbelief that the way that we show
up, the whole reason why thispodcast is called Business of
Becoming is because who we areis all that really matters, in a
sense.
We don't necessarily need toworry about anything else
(13:05):
besides our energy in thismoment.
Yes, sometimes we're going tolearn new things or we're going
to research or whatever.
Like, yes, there is likely goingto be some doing.
But the being and the becomingis so much more profound than we
can even imagine.
And so knowing that, I have, forat least a year now, wanted to
(13:32):
talk more about this in apolitical and activist sort of
way.
to really let people know, especially because there's
people that don't feel safegoing to the protest.
There's people that don'tnecessarily feel safe speaking
up in a big way.
There's some people that don'tfeel safe making the video or
whatever.
And I'm not saying, and there'scertainly people who don't feel
(13:55):
safe throwing the brick.
And I'm not saying that any onething is right or wrong,
including throwing the brick, because I'm not going to judge
that the way that some peopledo.
And so I really wanted to getthat message out there because
that message is so universal andpowerful.
And it's also really timelyright now with what's happening
(14:20):
politically, especially in theUS.
So I decide on July 4th that I'mgoing to talk about this.
And I basically just made thisvideo saying like, I know some
people aren't going to like whatI have to say, but like, here it
is.
And I made this like seven and ahalf minute video.
And it did very well for whatI've had on TikTok so far.
(14:43):
It had like 100 likes.
I think it had like 25 comments.
It had like 30 or 40 saves.
And that's not anythingastronomical.
The post didn't go quote unquoteviral, but it just hit me.
Because if there was everanything that I had shared where
not only did I share vulnerablyand authentically, but I shared
(15:05):
powerfully, and that was thedifference because I've been
sugarcoating a lot of what Ihave to say, and I haven't been
speaking nearly as powerfully asI could.
Now, I still have to do thatcompassionately.
I still have to have love behindthis.
But I had not been doing nearlyenough of that.
And so I finally did it.
(15:25):
I finally let it rip.
And it's completely differentmetrics than any other post.
And that showed me that itreally resonated.
That showed me that it reallymade a difference.
And I said, okay, my voice isfinally getting more powerful.
We're really doing somethinghere.
So I took that.
(15:48):
And in the past few days, because I'm recording this on
the 9th, I'm only recording thisfive days later, and I can't
even believe that.
It feels like it's at least beena couple weeks, if not a month,
since that happened.
I started posting with much morepower, because ultimately that's
what's authentic to me.
What is not authentic to me istrying to be as gentle as I
(16:09):
possibly can.
There is a time and a place forthat, but that is not mostly
what I am here to do.
I am mostly here to say reallyshocking things really difficult
things.
And often it's just to help youremember who you really are.
(16:29):
But that was the thing thatreally started to ignite the
fire and had me thinking, okay,we're making some real progress.
And me showing up that way andseeing what happened was
validation that I kind of neededto But at the same time, it
happened because I wasn'tworried about what the post did.
(16:49):
I said the thing I wanted to sayregardless of who looked at it,
regardless of what the responseswere.
And the responses were positivebecause I was confident and
authentic and vulnerable withwhat I had to say.
So then July 5th, July 6th, July7th.
(17:14):
I'm still kind of lost.
I know it's almost there.
I know I'm about to have so muchmore clarity.
But I still just have so muchself-doubt inside of me.
And I'm just so worried that I'mgoing to screw something up with
the business.
Or the podcast isn't going toget traction soon enough.
(17:35):
Or I'm not going to get morefollowers on LinkedIn soon
enough or whatever.
So...
I was having some conversationswith ChatGPT, which I think I've
told you before that I do quiteoften.
It knows far too much about me,and I'm okay with that because I
(17:56):
find it helpful for me.
It's the way that I like to useit.
I ask it a lot of big questions.
I really dig into me in thatspace.
I forget what I asked it, but Ithink I asked it something and I
(18:17):
was using my human design, whichis something that I...
It knows everything about mychart and it's something that I
often do because I love to seewhat is the unbiased answer?
What is supposedly the answerbecause of what happened in the
cosmos when I was born or when Ibecame my true self because I
(18:39):
also...
Go off of that date for certainthings as well.
Just, you know, what am Isupposedly here to be?
What am I here to learn?
What am I here to do?
And I love how unbiased thosetools are because those tools
are not steeped in myself-doubt.
Those tools are not steeped inmy shadow, in my frustration, in
(19:01):
my lack of clarity.
The answers are just sittingthere waiting for me, which is
why I use these tools withclients as well because they're
so powerful.
And sure enough, it made so muchsense.
What have I learned through thatI could potentially be here to
teach others?
(19:22):
And previously I had thoughtmaybe it was around being alive
or it was not settling or it waslike transformation.
And in a way it kind of is allof those things.
But if I had to distill it downto something that makes sense,
especially in terms of quoteunquote business, I am here to
(19:45):
help people trust the knowingthat is inside of them.
Because I have done that amillion times over.
I literally do not spend asingle day second guessing my
trans experience, wondering ifthis is really who I'm supposed
to be, wondering if I'm going tolook more like I want to
(20:06):
physically tomorrow than I dotoday, wondering if my body's
going to feel better tomorrowthan it does today.
None of it.
I have had my moments, but byand large, I do not think twice
about it.
Even when I want to like add anew medication or change
something, I literally justlisten to my body and then I do
(20:26):
the thing.
I do that with my, call it myphysical and even maybe
spiritual self as confidently asanyone, as confidently as like a
billionaire, like CEO orsomething like that.
And yet here I am in my businesswondering when I'm going to have
clarity.
(20:47):
wondering if everything's goingto work out, wondering if I'm
going to be seen, wondering ifI'm going to actually make a
difference, wondering if I'mjust crazy.
And all of the things thatChatGPT said to me regarding
that just blew my mind because Ithought to myself, I already
know the answers.
I already know how to show up ina way where I don't need the
(21:10):
validation where I don't needthe answer right away, where I
just know how to keep taking thenext step.
And I know that it's all goingto unfold in the most beautiful
way.
And I'm not doing that with mybusiness.
And I was like, What am I doing?
Why am I not bringing thismastery in this one area over to
(21:34):
this other area?
And also, why am I not bringingthat to my clients?
So that's what I'm doing nowbecause there's so much noise
out there and I already knowwhat it means to be able to
trust what you feel in your bodybecause there is so much more
wisdom there than you canpossibly imagine.
(21:54):
No one else has the answer foryou.
Someone else might havesomething that's going to help
you remember more of who you areor help reflect something back
to you.
So other people are stillimportant.
You can still learn from otherpeople.
It's not, this isn't just mesaying like go direct to your
human design or your astrologyand never listen to any advice
(22:14):
anyone else has.
But you have to know who you areand you have to know essentially
what is your gut response.
It's different types ofresponses in your body.
It's not only your quote unquotegut, but if we were to use the
way that most people refer tothat inner knowing, you
essentially have to know whatthat feels like for you as an
(22:36):
individual.
You have to be able to recognizeit so that when you read a book
or when you see a post or whenyou see a video and somebody
gives some advice you know ifit's for you or not because you
can feel that place in your bodywhere it's resonating and you
can feel the way that it'sresonating and you know exactly
what that means.
(22:57):
You know then that that's foryou or that's not for you.
And you're not just out herejust taking anybody's advice or
just listening to literallyeverything that you could
possibly be listening to becausethat's not going to be helpful
for anyone.
And so that's what I was stuckin.
And I got myself out of it, one,by using the inner knowing that
I already have, And two, byrealizing the mastery I have in
(23:21):
another area can be applied tothis area.
And that is the other thing thatI really hope you can have as a
takeaway to this because I haveseen it happen so many times
recently.
I'm still working through thisin intimate relationships.
Why in intimate relationships Ishow up as like a completely
different human that's just likebroken and afraid and And it's
(23:47):
like, yeah, I do still have torespect, Where is my nervous
system?
What happened to me that causedme to maybe still be 15-year-old
Sabrina in a relationship?
That's very real.
I'm not saying this mastery inother areas is like a bypass for
(24:07):
your self-doubt.
You're still going to have to gothrough it.
You're still going to have to atleast sit with the feelings or
do something to soothe yourself.
But it's just the knowing thatyou already have the answers.
And you probably have alreadydisplayed the fact that you have
the answers and the masterysomewhere else.
(24:28):
So whenever you're doubtingyourself so much, look at
another area of your life andsee where have I already done
this correctly?
Where have I already showed upthe way I want to show up in
this area?
Where have I already learned howto show up personally and I
could just bring that over hereto the business?
(24:50):
Because chances are you'vealready learned some of the
lessons.
And if you haven't, then that'sokay too.
But you have to give yourselfcredit for the mastery that you
already have.
And you also have to figure outhow to listen because if you are
not listening to your body, youwill always find yourself lost
(25:13):
at some point in the future.
I guarantee I'm still going toget frustrated with this and I'm
going to find myself lost.
But the difference is I'm notgoing to get lost for six
months.
I'm going to get lost for sixdays and then I'm going to
realize it and I'm going to moveon because it is, I have a lot
of self-awareness that is veryobvious to me when I am not
(25:34):
showing up as myself.
And now it is even more obviousto me when I am not showing up
with the mastery and the innerknowing that I already have.
So if you don't have that, please reach out to me.
Please, go grab your humandesign chart.
Go grab an astrology chart.
Do something.
(25:54):
And I'm not recommending apersonality test.
I'll just say that right now.
That is not an equivalent towhat I am saying.
A personality test or somethinglike that is not going to give
you any sort of inner knowing.
I am talking about the things...
the tools that are out therethat really help you to learn
how to work with the energy inyour body.
And there is not one right orwrong tool, but there are many
(26:18):
of them that are amazing andunbiased.
And I specifically love thingslike astrology and human design
because it is differentiated.
It is literally you.
It is not just, hey, here's howthis might feel and here's how
you might do something with it.
Which is kind of what energywork is, depending on how
(26:40):
someone teaches it to you.
(27:07):
you actually have peace youcannot have peace if you don't
know that you will always beokay and you can't possibly know
that you're always going to beokay if you don't know what it
feels like to be supported bythe universe if you don't know
what it feels like to beconnected to that inner knowing
(27:28):
to be connected to more heartcentered knowing and getting out
of the mind because the mindwill always mess with you your
ego will always fight to thedeath.
You will always be prone tooverthinking or getting anxious
or trying to get back intosurvival mode that is never
going to go away completely.
(27:49):
But when you know thedifference, when you know what
it feels like, when you are atpeace, when you know what it
feels like, when you just feelit in your bones, you will then
also know what it doesn't feellike, and you will be able to
identify that so much morequickly, and that is going to
help you more than you canpossibly imagine right now.
(28:16):
So thank you for sticking withme all the way until the end.
Again, I love doing this podcastI love having you here and I
genuinely hope this makes such amassive difference in your life
please don't ever hesitate toreach out to me on LinkedIn or
Instagram I am never here tosell anyone anything or to push
(28:38):
anyone towards something if youfeel called to work with me I
would absolutely love to do thatbut more than anything if this
ever resonates with you and youjust want to reach out or you
want to connect or you want tofollow or whatever, please do
it.
I absolutely love when I get toconnect with you and I get to
(29:01):
hear the feedback that you haveabout my work and about my
content.
Because as we talked about lastweek, we all need that
validation sometimes.
We all need people to reflectthings back to us and help us to
see how powerful and amazing wetruly are.
And I wouldn't be where I am ifI didn't have some really
(29:21):
amazing people doing that forme.
So just know that It means moreto me than anything when you
reach out.
I hope you enjoy the rest ofyour week.
And I know for sure that I wasnot the only one moving through
this massive self-doubtrecently.
I know that you're going throughit too.
(29:43):
And I really hope that you findthe clarity that you're looking
for sooner rather than later.
But always know you're going tofind the clarity that you're
looking for in the timing thatyou were meant to find it.
And that is okay.
If it's not tomorrow, it's notgoing to be the end of the
world.
You will still find your path.
(30:05):
You will still do everythingthat you're here to do.
I know that you will.
All right, friends.
Thank you.
I love you so much.
