Barb: Hello and welcome! It’s a great day for our follow through podcast of The Business of Life. Podcast for people who thrive on opportunity, drive to get results and seek input and ideas to quickly incorporate in life and in business. Barb Zant here, corporate sales leader I have a fashion stylist, I have the brand @thestayatworkmom you know I love finding joy in everything I do...

Debbie: You do!

Barb: even the little things everyday. You might have noticed that someone is missing from out podcast today and that is because I’m interviewing Debbie. I’m having her back from the episode where we talked about the things that I do the three things that I want to hear from Debbie that she may have incorporated and um what might have inspired her from my segment.

Debbie: How great is it that we have these things that we know about each other and when we hear them it brings a smile to our face because we know we are living what we’re talking about and what we say we are doing, right?

Barb: Yes. super exciting.

Debbie: Well, i did a long list, you can see how I have 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9. Somebody said that’s annoying when people count out loud, so I stopped. I had 10 things Barb from your your podcast.

Barb: NO WAY!

Debbie: Yeah I did. So out Business of Life Master Class Podcast is something that we know our listeners can take a lot from and I know you ask me to talk about 3 and we talked about 3 or 4. So many of the things you and me are aligned on, it’s wonderful and it’s a big part of how we can go and grow together and a coupe of things though that really stood out. That full glass of water in the morning, you know this, but our listeners likely don't because it was before we were doing our podcast is that I had this idea to have a water consumption competition with my girlfriends and it seems like a great idea after the holidays. We were so competitive though that it got almost ridiculous, it got to 300 ounces a day.

Barb: Which is fantastic.

Debbie: it’s fantastic and scary all at the same time. You could barely make it to anywhere you were going. So what happened was the fantastic part was that we drank a lot of water and we were feeling good about ourselves and the competition seemed “good health”, when in fact when we stopped it was a relief. Instead of it being a habit, it became a relief.

Barb: So did you get away from drinking water than?

Debbie: Not completely, but now my goal is to have 100 ounces before I go to my first client, that way no matter what happens during the day it gets started well. So your idea of a full glass of water upon waking is now I have a glass of water when I wake up. I write on my mirror what my goal or intent, I know you didn’t say write it on your mirror. Something I like is for seeing for all of us to see ourselves and our plans. So i have a dry erase marker and i put it on my mirror after I have the glass of water. I’m going to count that as one if you don’t mind, I know it’s two things, but it’s a morning change for me. I really appreciate that you brought up because usually the first water I had was on my way to orange theory and then I would consume it during that. I’ve been adjusting to that and putting my goals on the mirror in the morning.

Barb: One thing that I love is that you sent me a

CrimeLess: Hillbilly Heist

It’s 1996 in rural North Carolina, and an oddball crew makes history when they pull off America’s third largest cash heist. But it’s all downhill from there. Join host Johnny Knoxville as he unspools a wild and woolly tale about a group of regular ‘ol folks who risked it all for a chance at a better life. CrimeLess: Hillbilly Heist answers the question: what would you do with 17.3 million dollars? The answer includes diamond rings, mansions, velvet Elvis paintings, plus a run for the border, murder-for-hire-plots, and FBI busts.
