Welcome back to a long overdueepisode of the Business Psychic.
(00:44):
It has been a hot second and Ijust want to say I am so
thrilled to be back, I'm sothrilled that I have my energy
and my insight and I'm justready to go on this podcast
again.
If you are new here, first ofall, welcome.
I am so excited you found meand to connect with you, and I'm
(01:06):
just so grateful that you'regoing to spend your time with me

you could be doing.
So, welcome and thank you.
And if you are an OG listener, welcome back.
You know what to expect and Ihave some new things in store
for you that I am super excitedto share.
(01:28):
That I'll get into at kind ofthe end of the episode here
about where this podcast isgoing to be going, some of the
upcoming guests that I have andI just want to say you know, I
originally started, so I thinkwhat's kind of funny is I never
wanted to actually have apodcast started.
So I think what's kind of funnyis I never wanted to actually
have a podcast.
But a few years ago I had abusiness partnership and my
(01:50):
business partner really wanted apodcast.
Like she was on me all the timeshe was.
She just thought it was goingto be like the best thing for
our business and finally I justwas like, oh my gosh girl, okay,
fine, let's do this podcast.
And pretty much day one, episode one.
She did not like it, she hatedit, she didn't want to do it,
(02:10):
and I fell in love with it.
There was just something thathappened when I put this
microphone in front of me that Idon't know it just I can't get,
I couldn't get enough of it,and so we actually did a very
short run of a podcast together, and then I went on to start
(02:30):
this podcast and have absolutelyloved every second um and
appreciate all of those who haveshared um, the enthusiasm of my
, of my episodes, and have beenuh, have been faithful listeners
.
I love it so much and I'm soexcited to bring that energy and
that excitement to you in theseupcoming episodes.
(02:51):
So I think the big thing isthere's not a lot that's
changing about this, right, butthere are some enhancements.
There are some things that Ireally want to be adding.
I want to tell stories.
I want to tell stories aboutbusiness, I want to tell stories
about life, and I want thosestories to inspire you.
(03:13):
I want them to ignite you andactivate you to go out and make
the changes and thetransformations in your life and
your business that you've beenwanting to make.
And I really want to be able touse my gift as a psychic medium
to channel, in the moment, insights from the universe about
(03:37):
real topics in the moment thatmatter to you, that have meaning
to you.
And so, whether that's aboutcurrent things going on in the
online business world, whetherthat is about things that are
going on from a mindsetperspective, new modalities
coming to the world.
(03:57):
I am just here to channel allof that for you, and my
commitment and my promise to youis that what you're always
going to receive here is unique,it is channeled, it is
authentic and it is truly comingfrom a place of intuitive
(04:20):
creativity that I connect intowith my gift.
So I hope that you love what iscoming, what's in store.
I have some amazing guests, lots of really fun ideas and,
again, all with that intentionto really ignite you to go be in
(04:41):
your gift too.
So let's get into it, let's getback in, let's get into this
welcome episode I just want toshare with you a little, just a
real quick snippet of.
You know, I took this break, notbecause I actually even needed
a break from podcasting, butwhat started out as actually a
(05:02):
technical difficulty just endedup getting extended.
For those of you that may ormay not know, I've been going
through a divorce and in part ofthat divorce I was renting a
house and I kid you not, thishouse that I was renting had
like it was almost legit dial-upinternet, which made it
incredibly difficult to recordpodcasts.
(05:25):
Like Wi-Fi Zoom calls.
It was awful.
So I just couldn't keep doingpodcast episodes because of the
delays and that kind of thing, and so I just had to take a
break until I moved.
And then, when I moved, lifejust kind of kept lifing and
business kept moving, but Ididn't get back into the
podcasting.
And I got to tell you, though, there was not one day where I
(05:51):
didn't think to myself girl, just go turn on the mic.
It's been on my to-do list,it's been on my goal sheet, like
all of it, all of it, there'snot.
I love this.
And so, finally, today, I did.
You know now what makes todaydifferent?
You know, what was it abouttoday that made me finally
(06:12):
finally turn on that podcast?
And that's what I want to talkabout in this podcast is why do
we delay what we want?
Why do we put off to tomorrowwhat we know in our hearts and
our souls is best for us today?
And there's a it's becausethere's a payoff somewhere,
(06:36):
right, there is a payoff in thatprocrastinating.
And actually, it's not a payoff, it's a pitfall.
And before you know it, one dayturns to two, and before you
know it, two days turns to aweek, a week turns to a month,
and before you know it, it'sbeen almost eight months since
(07:00):
you recorded your podcast, right, and so what I want you to hear
and see in this episode is thatwhen you are delaying, when you
are putting off something thatyou know is good for you, it's
most likely coming from thedepths of your subconscious,
inside of your mind, a placewhere you're in protection,
(07:22):
paralysis that's a good way tosay it AKA mind prison.
Right, your subconscious is putyou in a program of what it
thinks is protection, and it'sreally not protection, it's
procrastination.
It becomes procrastination andbefore you know it, you're not
(07:46):
taking the action towardsbecoming what you want.
So how do you get out, right?
I mean?
I think that's the big question.
I think most of us and ifyou're a listener here, you
probably have someself-awareness that you might
get into these ruts yourself.
But the question becomes how doyou get out?
How do you start to actuallytake yourself out of that mind
(08:13):
prison and into a place oftaking inspired action towards
becoming that version of you?
You know, this can apply to somany areas.
It can apply to going to thegym, starting a business,
re-recording your podcast.
There really probably isn't anarea of your life, of your
business, where this doesn'tapply, and so I want to give you
(08:35):
four areas of reflection thatcan really start to get you out
of that procrastination andprotection, paralysis, and
taking intuitive and intentionalaction towards becoming who you
want to be.
And number one is and these arehonestly, probably I don't even
(08:58):
know in no particular order Ijust really kind of sat and
thought for myself what was it,and I can honestly say that
number one, which is you have tomake a decision to be who you
aspire to be, anddecision-making I'm not going to
get into that too much, but Ido want you to go listen to
(09:20):
chapter three of my book, because it's all about
decision-making.
So deciding is, in my opinionin my opinion, tuition the
majority of the battle.
You have to have ultimateclarity on that future version
(09:41):
of you.
I mean, it is so much easier totake action from a place of
vision than from a place of, oh,I should, and I just don't want
you to underestimate the powerof a decision.
That is truly what is goingdecisions, open doors and
(10:05):
getting yourself that clarity, taking the time to take 10
minutes and write down all ofthe things you actually want and
then start taking action fromthat place, that puts you in one
of the most powerful positionsyou've ever been in in your life
.
Number two you have to be ableto take the time, though, to
(10:33):
uncover where is that deeperresistance to taking the action
coming from and the reasoning ofwhy you're feeling the
resistance.
You know, like I was talkingabout earlier, the subconscious
is truly trying to just keep yousafe.
It's, but it's got you stuck.
It's actually not safety, you're just stuck, but, but why?
(10:57):
You know again, you got to kindof keep.
You got to keep asking why, until you get to the core of
this, and I believe that itcomes from, at some point in
your life, taking action thatmaybe didn't have the immediate
payoff that you thought it would, or maybe you received feedback
(11:20):
from people that was negative.
There was some type of what yourmind interpreted as a negative
experience from doing somethingsimilar that is now keeping you
in this procrastination andsafety spot, and so we need to
(11:44):
find you a mindset resetmodality that you're drawn to,
that can help you start torewire what has become a belief
about taking or not takingaction, and so there are so many
different modalities out there, right there, I mean it could be
hypnosis, it could be tapping.
There's somatic practices.
I mean, there are tons ofmodalities that are out there,
(12:06):
but what you have to do is trustthe modality that you are most
drawn to, because Because themodalities that work for me,
they might not work for you.
The modalities that work forsomebody else, you see, you're
like, oh my gosh, why did itwork for them, not for me?
It's the same thing why I talkabout business strategy, the way
that I do.
The business strategy thatworks for me might not work for
(12:29):
you.
That's why you have to trustyour intuition more than
anything when you are makingdecisions for yourself.
Now I'm going to bring you allkinds of different energetic
modalities, mindset modalities, business strategies, all kinds
of different things in thispodcast that I hope you can use
your intuition and if it's aguest that's bringing that to
(12:51):
you, reach out to my guestexpert.
If it's something that I haveto offer, lean into it.
But we're going to find youyour own personal series of
modalities that can change theway you think and feel, that can
change your energy, that cantruly change your life and
business, and that's mycommitment to you.
(13:14):
Third thing we have to connectto and I rarely say have to.
I don't like to say should.
However, I think this one is ahave to.
I really do and you have to beable to connect to a higher
power when you are trying tomake personal transformation and
(13:35):
you again get to choose.
What is that higher power?
What does that mean?
I will, in this podcast, oftenreference the universe, for
example, and I reference theuniverse because to me it feels
all-encompassing.
Whether you say God, higherself, spirit, spirit, guides, it
(13:56):
doesn't to me.
When I say universe, it bringsall of those things together in
a universal way.
It takes the individual labelsoff, it takes the pressure off
honestly to try to appease andappeal to everybody with the
right, politically correct word.
So I say universe and that ismy higher power.
(14:21):
When I think of the way Iconnect, that's where I first go
to.
I have my coffee with theuniverse on a daily basis, on a
daily basis, and I want you tohave that.
I want you to have a heart toheart conversation with that
higher power on a committed, ongoing basis.
(14:42):
I want you to feel like thishigher power has your back.
I want you to feel like thishigher power is your personal
life and business, trainer andcoach and friend and confidant,
because when you have that, yourworld starts instantly changing
(15:05):
not eventually changing, butinstantly changing because of
how you feel.
It's impossible to have thisconnection and not just
naturally feel better, to feelmore inspired, to have your
frequency expand, to have yourenergy lift.
(15:28):
I want to help you make thatconnection.
If this is something thatyou're stuck in, if you are
again sitting there going yeah,I want that too, amber, but how,
how do I do that?
I've tried.
I've tried meditation, blah,blah, blah.
Right, most likely you triedbecause, again, somebody was
like this is the way, this isthe path, and that's because
(15:50):
that was their path, and that'sbecause that was their path.
I want to help you find yourown individual path to that
higher power and to be connectedthere and to stay connected.
That's what this podcast isgoing to do, that's what future
episodes are going to help youwith, and that's honestly part
of my gift on this planet is tohelp other people connect and
(16:12):
trust their gifts as well.
And then the fourth thing isaction as if.
Now, I know you've heard act asif, but I want to take it a
little bit further and even sayaction as if, inspired,
(16:46):
intentional, intuitive actionfrom your place of vision.
That's why, going back tonumber one, it is so important
you are very clear in what it isyou are trying to create and
what it is you are trying tobecome and what it is you are
trying to receive.
(17:07):
Everything starts with gettingclear and then, when you have
that clarity, you have to startimmediately taking action, as if
you have already become that,as if you have already created
that, as if you have all, as ifthat's already done.
And I'm not going to pretendthat this is easy, right, like,
(17:28):
sometimes that could take acouple of days before you're
started able to take action.
I'm not going to lie, it's takenme a few months to start taking
action from that place, but Ido want to share with you a
process, place, but I do want toshare with you a process and
again, anything I ever sharewith you, I am super transparent
(17:52):
.
Yup, it worked for me.
That doesn't always mean it'sgoing to work for you as the
listener, right, um?
But it doesn't mean that I'mnot meant to share it, because
you just never know, some ofthese things could start taking
root, they could start workingfor you, and if that's a
possibility in your world.
I want to bring you as many ofthose possibilities as possible.
So, with that being said, I dowant to share with you and this
(18:15):
is a newer process for me I lovelearning.
I'm always looking for ways totry something different, whether
it's in my life, in my business, as a mom, as a partner, as a
friend.
I always am looking for ways toexpand and grow and transform,
and this is one of the mostprofound transformations I've
(18:38):
had in a long time.
So I'm recording this episodetoday today, and it is March
13th, so back in December and Iknow the exact date, actually,
I'll share with you why, in asecond December 19th, I sat down
and had some time and space toreally think about what did I
want this year 2025,?
(18:58):
Did I want this year 2025, tolook like for me?
And that is not an uncommonthing, I think, for any of us to
kind of do.
Right Around the first of theyear, you start thinking about
those New Year's resolutions andgoals and all the things you
want to do and create in thisnext year, and oftentimes it can
(19:19):
be based off of what you didn'tdo in the current year, and I
just was not feeling excited andinspired, and I had a kind of a
whiteboard.
That day my older son was havingsurgery and so he was just rest
.
He had a knee surgery, sonothing, nothing major.
But I had space and time toreally think.
(19:41):
I didn't have any client calls,and that's the day that I
really sat and uh started makingwhat I called a 2025 bingo card
for my life and business, and Iwish that I could tag the
original person that I saw inTikTok who was doing something
like this.
That gave me the idea to, youknow, kind of take it a step
(20:04):
further and make that process myown.
But what I did was I made myown bingo card for this year and
it has, I don't know, I thinkmaybe 24 or 25 spaces on it, and
I did the free space and Ireally took the time in each of
those free spaces or each ofthose other spaces to write out
(20:29):
something that I want, somethingthat I desire, something, I
want to create something, I wantto do something, I want to
receive something, I want to buy, and it took me actually a
couple of days to fill in all ofthose spaces.
It's interesting when youactually give yourself the time
(20:49):
to think about what you want.
All of a sudden, you're like,oh my gosh, I don't even know.
You know it did.
It took me a couple of days.
Um, I didn't want this to becomeanother set of new year's
resolutions, goals, intentionsthat I forgot about basically
(21:11):
after a couple of weeks intoJanuary, which is what happens
every other year.
I've ever set this kind ofstuff Right.
So what I did is I the onething that I do do on a daily
basis and this is definitelygoing to be where I'm going to
give a shout out to journalingis I started putting that bingo
sheet with my journal to look atevery single day, instead of
(21:35):
just letting it pile up or maybegetting filed or just brushed
to the side.
I started looking at it everysingle day, revisiting every
single one of those intentions, every single one of those goals,
those desires on that bingosheet, and something interesting
started happening.
I started getting reallyexcited about them, like they
(21:56):
weren't just possibilitiesanymore.
Ideas started coming to me onactions I could take for some of
those things that were on there.
So then I took this a stepfurther.
That has truly changed my lifeand business.
I created my daily to-do listbased off of my bingo sheet.
(22:20):
So, for example, one of thethings that is on my bingo sheet
is I really want to grow mynewsletter audience.
I love writing, I love sharingcreative insights, ideas,
downloads, everything on mynewsletter, and so I put that as
(22:42):
one of my actually one of myvery first goals was to grow
that, and so then I take it astep further and when I look at
my daily to-do list, I make surethere is something on my to-do
list that ties to what is on mybingo, to that individual goal
on my bingo sheet, and then Imake sure that I do it.
That means every single day Iam taking some type of action,
(23:09):
no matter how big, no matter howsmall, towards creating that
vision for me.
I, let me tell you, amabsolutely blown away that we
are only three months into thisyear and some of the things have
already been checked off.
My bingo card.
Things that I thought weregoing to maybe take so much
(23:33):
longer are already done.
They're already checked off.
This has been one of the biggestgame changers for me that I
have had in a long time, andwhat is also so amazing about it
to me and I'm sure you canappreciate this is the
consistency that I have had withit, and consistency, to me, is
(23:54):
always been something that Ipersonally have struggled with
in the past.
I get fantastic ideas, as I'msure you do too.
I start all of the, you know Imean whether it's from things
for my health and wellness, youknow, I start the supplements, I
start going to the gym, I startdoing all these things, but
(24:15):
they end up falling off andgoing to the wayside, right Like
it's.
I've always, it's always beenthe consistency.
Right Like it's, I've always,it's always been the consistency
.
So what is it that, with thisnew practice, this new process
allowed me to get consistent, and I want to share that with
you so that maybe you can applysome of these things to things
that you want to see consistencyin.
So number one was I tied it toan activity that I already do on
(24:41):
almost a daily basis.
Right, so I journal and havealways journaled since becoming
an entrepreneur almost on adaily basis, and I'm so grateful
that I have journaled thatjourney, by the way, because it
is truly the most powerful placeto see evidence that you are
(25:06):
transforming and changing andevolving and becoming.
So that's just my personalshout out to journaling.
But the other thing that it didwas it tied this new activity
to something I'm already doingright.
So I'm already doing right.
So I'm already consistent atjournaling, I'm already
consistent at that morningroutine.
(25:28):
So I wanted to tie somethingthat I wanted to get consistent
at to something I already amconsistent at.
And that's key number one herein starting to take action as if
, in starting to take action asif, so tie new habit, new
experience, new thing that youwant to get consistent at to a
current thing you are consistentat, and I promise you you
(25:51):
probably don't realize it, butyou have things that you are
absolutely consistent at too.
We are human beings and we areall about repetition.
We are all about patterns andloops.
So you just have to take amoment and really think about
what are you repetitious onevery single day, okay, and then
(26:15):
you want to tie your newprocess to that.
That made it so much easier forme to start getting consistent
with this new process.
It's so much easier for me tostart getting consistent with
this new process.
Now, the second thing is, again,we want evidence, right?
We want to see that instantgratification.
I mean I totally blame Amazonfor this, because I mean it used
(26:43):
to be like, right, you wouldorder something from Amazon and
you'd get it in two days.
I mean shit, now you can get, sometimes in the same day,
something from Amazon.
Right, like they, we, our timeand our attention span is going
down all the time, and so wewant instant gratification,
instant evidence that what we'restarting to do is working.
It's just like I joke about, like when I go to the gym I'm
(27:04):
like, okay, I worked out once, like why didn't I lose you know
25 pounds?
That's because the world thatwe're in has kind of conditioned
us and programmed us to be likethat.
So, with this process, what'sreally cool about it is you will
start seeing instant evidence.
You will start seeing thatinstant evidence in how you feel
, more than anything, because itfeels good to look at a goal,
(27:29):
look at your vision, and seeright there on your to-do list
the action item to get you onestep closer.
And I don't know anybody thatwon't feel better by taking one
action step closer to what theirvision is.
Now, of course, the key is justbecause it's on the to-do list
doesn't mean you're going to doit.
(27:50):
But let me tell you when thatto-do list is tied to your
vision, you are much more likelyto actually take the action.
That is what I found for myself.
I wasn't delaying my to-do listanymore or procrastinating or
even losing my to-do list.
(28:10):
I mean, sometimes, shit, Icould start a to-do list and
lose it by mid-morning.
You know, this is different Now.
That daily to-do list isinspired.
It's vision-driven.
I can't wait to work on itbecause I can't wait to receive
and become all of those thingson my 2025 bingo card.
(28:35):
So, if you can start takingaction from that place of
already done, start takingaction.
No matter how big, no matterhow small, every action counts.
Every action matters because ofthe momentum it's starting to
(28:56):
build, because of the sign it'ssending to the universe saying
I'm all in, let's go.
The universe knows you'reserious in that moment about
what you said you wanted.
You didn't just write it downand forget it.
Well, if you forgot about it,chances are the universe has
probably put it on the backburner.
So taking action as if is thekey right now, in my opinion, to
(29:23):
reaching that highest visionthat you're holding for yourself
.
And if you don't have that, ifyou don't have that higher
vision, well, I'd love to helpyou with that.
So I'm going to include and it'sbasic, right, I mean we're
talking basic bingo card here, but I'm going to include in the
show notes for you my businesslife and business bingo card.
(29:43):
So if you want to print it out,you want to fill it in.
You don't guess what.
You don't have to do it at thebeginning of the year.
It doesn't have to be for thewhole year.
You could do it for a month.
You could do it, for, you know,30 days at a time.
I chose to do mine for the year.
You get to pick and choose whatfeels good for you.
If it feels fun, do it, if itdoesn't, don't.
(30:14):
And I just also want to add inthat transformation isn't easy,
right.
But here's the thing it's notimpossible.
And most likely, if you lookback at how far you have come
and how much you havetransformed, you will agree with
me that if you ever have thethought, if you ever think it
for yourself, it's becauseyou're meant to have it, it's
because you're meant to becomeit.
Well, I hope that you agreewith me when I say that this
(30:39):
podcast is back.
It's better than ever, becauseI truly have so many incredible
things lined up for you and, asI shared before, you can
absolutely expect from meinspiring conversations with
guests from literally all kindsof walks of life and business.
All kinds of walks of life andbusiness.
(31:06):
I mean I am really looking forguests who are out there making
waves, who are creating impactand just truly doing things in a
way that are deeply alignedwith their purpose and with
their gifts and can activate andinspire you to do the same.
Their gifts and can activateand inspire you to do the same.
And I will also be sharing withyou more solo episodes where I
(31:26):
am just going to truly channelmessages straight from the
universe.
So, whether it's kind of likewhat we talked about here today,
where it's transformation andmindset, or maybe it's marketing
and sales and energy, just Iwant to be so much more open and
in the moment for whateverdownloads come through and these
(31:49):
are the kinds of messages that, again, in my opinion tuition
they're just going to landexactly when you need them to
land.
And something else that I'mreally just, of course I mean
this is the core aspect of thispodcast is the ongoing on air
business readings.
(32:10):
That is where I truly get to bein my gift where I get to use
my gifts as a psychic medium tochannel, to give my guests in
the moment messages that aregoing to move them and drive
them and motivate them, messagesthat could be coming from past
(32:32):
loved ones, from the universe, from their spirit guides.
And I love being able to sharethose readings with you on air
live, unedited hurrah, becausehere's what I know about those
they're never just for theperson that's receiving the
reading, but they are for youtoo.
Spirit always, always speaks ina way through me that touches
(32:56):
exactly who needs to hear it.
That touches exactly who needsto hear it, and I'm excited for
some new Ask Amber episodes.
I get a lot of people that are.
You know, they kind of think ofit as like a podcast advice
column, right?
Make sure, if you want one ofyour questions answered, that
(33:18):
you go and you fill out the AskAmber comment section, because
it'll be in the show notes.
That's something I'm superexcited about being able to do
some episodes that are reallyjust almost like a rapid fire at
me of you know, what should Ido?
I'm not able to take actionright now.
I feel paralyzed in you know mybusiness because I have all
(33:38):
these things going on in my life, or I want to start a business
but insert X, y, z, so I'm goingto be bringing you all kinds of
different Ask Amber episodes.
I'm going to try to do those inkind of bite-sized pieces,
because not everybody alwayswants to listen to 30, 45-minute
(33:58):
episodes all the time, you know, because not everybody always
wants to listen to 30, 45 minuteepisodes all the time.
So I'm going to try to do somemini bite-sized episodes as well
as pick right back up where Ileft off with starting to read
through my book that I amwriting.
That's an accountability piecefor me, knowing that I have
people listening to my book andgiving me real time feedback
(34:21):
about that.
So it's like a podcast, audibleversion of my book before it's
even completely wrote and outfor publication.
So I hope that you're excitedabout all of these things coming
.
But I mean most importantly andI truly, truly mean this is I
want this podcast to help youtrust yourself more than ever
(34:44):
before.
I want you to trust yourintuition.
I want you to lead with yourgifts and your ability and your
believability in yourself totruly create the life and
business that is out therewaiting for you to claim it.
There's so much magic ahead andI appreciate you being here
(35:06):
with me and I cannot wait toshare more of that magic with
you in this podcast.
So until next time, go be inyour gift.
Thanks for listening to thisepisode.
I hope it inspired and ignitedyour entrepreneurial spirit.
Go be in your gift.
