Speaker 1 (00:00):
Caita back it up. The best moments from the week
on Cat it was good.

Speaker 2 (00:04):
It's keen and yeah zero on Kate Australia's Home and
hip Hop and Ari and B and we have one
of the one of the biggest hip hop stars across
the planet right now. Yeah, I mean, blew up, blew up.
About two years ago, I came to the raidar here
in Australia with his track Mood Yeah, and I personally
we caught up actually at that time, and I just
knew straight away yas that this guy was going to
take over the world. And boy has he done it.

(00:25):
Just under two years we're talking about the incredible twenty
four k golden. Let me do that sign. Let me
do that sign twenty four k W.

Speaker 3 (00:32):
I don't see. I don't like this. Like you guys
have a connection. I didn't know what you guys are doing.

Speaker 4 (00:36):
What's that again? Do it again too?

Speaker 2 (00:39):
Okay, okay, okay, Hey you doing Brad, Welcome to Australia.

Speaker 5 (00:44):
I'm good man, just waking up, rolling out of bed.
Came here to talk to you guys.

Speaker 2 (00:47):
Yeah, that's it, that's it, that's it man. Looking you've
worked with artists like Jay Bealvin justin Bieber Future, the Baby, Quavo,
swed Lee, Jack Harlow. I mean I just wanted to
keep him going. Yeah, I got ty dollars sign MG,
and I've got I think Michael Jackson. At one point
there was a whole bunch of Jackson.

Speaker 4 (01:06):
That's crazy. Well, dude, that's wild.

Speaker 3 (01:08):
Did you did you think that the success would blow
up to that extent when you first, like, let's say,
released Mood.

Speaker 5 (01:14):
To be honest, I knew it was like a great song,
But I don't think anybody can ever predict something like
that happening, because that was just like a cultural like moment.

Speaker 2 (01:23):
If you kept playing those, you go a new track
of which you will get to when the sex mistakes.
But I saw that you were at the Men's fashion
Week earlier on this I think it was July over
in Europe.

Speaker 5 (01:32):
Yeah, yeah, we were in Milan in Paris earlier this
year for fashion week, and that was a vibe.

Speaker 3 (01:37):
Do you can see yourself like a fashionist though, like
you know your fashion? Well, I mean, look at him,
I got a right see.

Speaker 4 (01:43):
I'm playing bro. I was like a painter, right.

Speaker 2 (01:46):
I was just like, all right, so why is fashion
so important to you?

Speaker 3 (01:48):
Bro?

Speaker 2 (01:49):
Why were you selected for this? What's the good? I mean?

Speaker 5 (01:51):
I think the reason why I like fashion at least
is just because it allows you to express yourself in
a way that you don't even need words, Like you
could see what somebody's wearing it automatically get kind of
a read on them and what they're into, what they're
passionate about, if they pay attention to details or not,
before they even open their mouth.

Speaker 2 (02:08):
So I like, I say, you're looking at his whole
in these jeans. Yeah, I mean, what does that tell
you about?

Speaker 4 (02:13):
You know, he's very comfortable in his own skin.

Speaker 2 (02:15):
And things like that. Yeah, yeah, yeah?

Speaker 4 (02:18):
What are you on the daily basis?

Speaker 1 (02:20):
Like?

Speaker 4 (02:20):
What's some brands that you messed with?

Speaker 5 (02:21):
I like a lot of Japanese brands un Australia. I've
been rocking with Subie of course and Pam. They both
have super fly stuff.

Speaker 4 (02:30):
I saw you do a shoey the other day.

Speaker 2 (02:31):
I did you did a didn't?

Speaker 4 (02:34):
We've been shoes on that show.

Speaker 2 (02:36):
We didn't. Man, that's disgusting. Would you do?

Speaker 4 (02:39):
I didn't like it.

Speaker 5 (02:41):
I'm a man of the people pressured into doing p pressure.
I wouldn't say peer pressure. I would say crowd encouragement.

Speaker 2 (02:51):
Going around the world, you would have seen some crazy stuff. Yes, yes,
the j he's traveled around the world, Miyami, he's not
rolling loud. He actually did a tour with bow Wow
at one point, and after the tour I went back
to an after party and it was at bow hotel room.
Everything was cool. Kicks out a bunch of people except
for Yas and a bunch of girls.

Speaker 4 (03:09):
And by the way, like I wasn't close with Boo
at all.

Speaker 3 (03:11):
I probably didn't even know him on the personal level
at that point, but he kicked everyone out for some reason.

Speaker 4 (03:15):
He's like, you can stay.

Speaker 2 (03:15):
So yeah, I was sitting there by yourself because I
took took a bunch of girls into the room and
he was doing his thing. He was like, oh do
I Like I want to go? Like do I said bye?
Like do I go in there and say goodbye? He's like,
I can't be rude. Yeah, I'll go in there. Go
in there.

Speaker 4 (03:26):
That was a mistake.

Speaker 2 (03:28):
I walked into bow Wow with a bunch of girls
in the whole thing was going on, and he walked in.

Speaker 3 (03:33):
He saw everything, but I was already in the door,
so I was like, man, I'm just going to walk
up and shake his hand, and.

Speaker 4 (03:39):
I was like he didn't mind, he didn't care. It's like, hey, man,
I'm sure you've seen like craziest ship on tour.

Speaker 2 (03:46):
How have you ever walked in on someone in general?
Like my roommate in college. Oh yeah, yeah, he ain't
know how to put a shock on the door. Oh man.
And then it was an experience you will never forget,
or well, I tried to forget it, but then it
happened like thee more.

Speaker 4 (04:00):
Times, and I'm like, that's college life.

Speaker 2 (04:02):
It's got to be on.

Speaker 5 (04:04):
You never walked in on me, and I'm getting way
more action than you, So I don't know what you're
talking about. So that one's ever walked in on you,
like my mom when I was in high school.

Speaker 4 (04:12):
Oh yeah, your mom walked in on you. Yeah, but
that's my fee.

Speaker 2 (04:17):
I was breakfast the next day. It was cool. It
was like eggs. My mom was like super cool.

Speaker 4 (04:22):
And it wasn't like it was like in the middle
of the action.

Speaker 2 (04:25):
It was like right as things, you know, we're tapering off.

Speaker 4 (04:28):
Shout out to.

Speaker 2 (04:29):
Mom, listen out, man, this is this is one massive festival.
You've done Perth and Melbourne already is all right? Yeah,
we did per we did Melbourne. Now we got Sydney
this weekend, and let's talk about this track mistakes. Is
it off the back of a mistake that you made
or oh I made mistakes every day? Yeah? Yeah? Do
you feel like it was a mistake coming to talk
to us so you know it was not a mistake.

(04:50):
This is my favorite interview done so far. Y'all got
a great vibe.

Speaker 3 (04:53):
We appreciate that man talking about mistakes. I was actually
about a year ago I was watching your chat with
Logan Paul. Yeah, and you asked him if he's been
to Japan. I don't, I don't want to bring it
up again, but he gets it real quick. Yeah, but
you said you said something to him and you were like, man,
seeing you like got that bad yeah, right, and then

(05:14):
come from it and kind of like regrowing to this success. Yeah,
your success, and you're like, every time that you make
a mistake, you can like look at him as inspiration.

Speaker 5 (05:23):
Yeah, for sure, I mean him amongst a lot of
other people. I just I really admire a good comeback story.
If you can be up down and be back up again.
That shows so much more resilience and pretermination.

Speaker 2 (05:37):
Great, yeah, yeah, that's it. That's it. So twenty four
K going in Australia for the first time. I listen
out festival. It's going to be absolute cracker. I think
you've got three more, three more performances left Sidney, Brisbane
and Adelaide. That's going to be it's gonna be awesome.
If you're dropping the brand new song Mistakes today, we're
about to play it. Man, I'm in love with the
track already. I got that, I got that secret listen.

(05:58):
So thank you sending me that. I appreciate that. Yes
you you heard it too, ye yeah.

Speaker 4 (06:04):
