Linda Sigman, who shares one of the most vivid and dramatic Mothman encounters ever recorded.On April 15, 1967, near Pomeroy, Ohio, sixteen-year-old Linda was skywatching with her boyfriend when a strange red light appeared in the sky. Moments later, a massive object hovered above them, completely blocking out the night sky. As they fled in fear, Linda looked back — and saw a towering, winged figure flying alongside their car. It was the creature she would later recognize as Mothman.In this episode, Linda recounts the full experience, along with stories from her book Beyond the Pale Moonlight: A UFO–Mothman Encounter. We also discuss Men in Black, the Silver Bridge disaster, and why these encounters still haunt Point Pleasant decades later.
