Welcome to Week 10 of the Christian Week-by-Week Pregnancy Meditations series. This week, we focus on the development of your baby’s eyes and reflect on Psalm 146:8, which reminds us that "The Lord opens the eyes of the blind." This verse invites us to reflect on how God opens both our physical and spiritual eyes to His purpose.
As your baby’s eyes begin to form, we meditate on God’s plan and purpose for your baby’s life, as well as His plan for you as a mother. This meditation encourages you to trust that God is revealing His beautiful plan for you both, even in this early stage.
In this meditation, you will:
- Reflect on Psalm 146:8, remembering that God is opening the eyes of your baby to His love and purpose.
- Focus on God’s guidance and trust that He is preparing both you and your baby for what lies ahead.
- Engage in a Loving-Kindness Meditation, sending blessings and love to your baby as their eyes begin to develop.
- Offer prayers of gratitude, asking God to open both you and your baby’s eyes to His guidance.
Take a few moments to reflect on the trust that God is revealing His purpose in you and your baby. Let His peace fill you as you journey forward in His plan.
