Welcome to Week 11 of the Christian Week-by-Week Pregnancy Meditations series. This week, we focus on the moment when your baby’s heartbeat becomes detectable, and reflect on the power of Psalm 34:18, which says, "The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit."
As your baby’s heartbeat is now detectable, we meditate on the life-giving power of God and His presence within both you and your baby. This meditation encourages you to reflect on the rhythm of life as a gift from God, filling you both with His sustaining love.
In this meditation, you will:
- Reflect on Psalm 34:18, remembering that God’s presence is near, especially when we are weary, and that He sustains life.
- Focus on the life-giving power of God as He fills your body with breath, sustaining both you and your baby.
- Engage in a Breath Prayer Meditation, using your breath to connect with God’s sustaining presence.
- Offer prayers of gratitude for your baby’s heartbeat, and ask for God’s peace to surround both of you.
Take a few moments to breathe deeply and allow God’s peace to surround you and your baby. Let His love fill every part of your being as you journey through this week.
