Harriet Tarbuck is a photographic artist, curator, educator, and business owner known for her dedication to building inclusive, community-driven photography projects. As Co-Founder and Creative Director of Photo Collective, she plays a leading role in initiatives such as the Australian Photography Awards, Stories, and the Australian & New Zealand Photobook Awards. Under her direction, Photo Collective also produces Photo Collective Magazine, exhibitions, public talks, educational programs, and publications that champion the evolving face of Australian photography.
Through her personal and commercial work, Harriet specialises in portraiture and documentary photography, connecting deeply with people and their stories across Australia, the UK, and Asia. A graduate of Leeds College of Art and Design, her practice explores the shared human experiences that connect us all.
Her latest venture, “When Harri Met Sally – A Photography Podcast,” brings insights from leading professionals in the photography industry to a wider audience, continuing her mission to celebrate creativity and connection through the lens.
