In this episode I have the pleasure of speaking with two extremely talented musicians; Shannon Davis and Molly Parmenter, both Cape Cod natives. One throughline of these new albums is both were recorded and produced by the esteemed Jon Evans of the Studio at Brick Hill in Orleans who also played various instruments on each album. Jon will also be playing bass at the album release party in addition to David Ellis (drums), Rich Hill (keys), Tom Davis (guitar), Pat McDonough (guitar), Catie Flynn (background vocals).
I must say, Shannon and Molly have really created two incredible albums. These singer songwriters have a deep understanding of what makes music important to us, and their music is heartfelt, deep and powerful.
