Natasha (00:00):
Hi there and welcome to the Cardcast.
I'm so glad you're here.
I'm Natasha and I'm here toshare a daily practice.
I love pulling an oracle cardand interpreting it through the
lens of my life.
My goal is to help you seeoracle cards as a tool for
noticing and anchoringthroughout your day.

(00:21):
So take a deep breath, pull upa chair and let's see what the
cards have to say.
Today's card is from theObsidian Veil deck by Erethereal
and our card is Boudica, and itsays though we may be

(00:41):
outnumbered, our spirit shallnever be conquered.
And it has a very cool I wouldsay is the best way to describe
it image of Boudicca with asword that she's holding above
her head, and then beneath herare, I would say, two
adversaries, but they haveskulls for heads.

(01:02):
So we have the sword held aboveher head, kind of signifying
what's already on the card.
You know, our spirit shallnever be conquered.
We can overcome darkness andall these other pieces.
And then, if I also think about, like what do we know about
Boudicca being the leader of theIceni tribe?

(01:24):
She led a massive uprisingagainst the Roman Empire, one of
the largest for the time, and, considering the resources and
troops that she didn't haveversus what they did have.
She's this symbol of resistanceand of independence and of
courage, and this, I think, relates to so many things going

(01:48):
on in my life and likely in somany of our lives.
Where do we fight and when dowe fight, and how hard do we
fight?
And whether that's fighting fora relationship, fighting for a
cause, fighting for a group ofpeople, fighting for ourselves,
all those different things.
And even on the card, when itsays, though we may be

(02:09):
outnumbered, nothing can standagainst something that's
relentless, and sometimes, ifyou are the relentless thing,
then eventually things willbreak in your favor.
Oftentimes, however, it's theexternal things that are
relentless, because they'rebigger and stronger and just
more powerful in having thatwarrior spirit, that fighting

(02:34):
spirit.
That piece of this is somethingthat will not and cannot stand,
and something needs to be done.

(02:57):
And why?
Why do I feel like somethingneeds to be done?
Why was this put on my heart?
Because maybe I'm the one who'ssupposed to do something about
it, who's supposed to impactthis change.
What's unique about all of us isthat we are the same in us all
having a lot of things going onat once.

(03:17):
We have things in ourcommunities.
We have things in the world, wehave things internally, we have
things in our families and inour jobs and in our teams, and
we all have those things goingon all the time.
It's rare that everything isrunning smoothly all at the same
time, and it's not uncommon formultiple things to be out of

(03:41):
sync at the same time, formultiple things to be out of
sync at the same time.
Where are those places where wecan show up and be courageous?
And that doesn't mean leadingpeople into battle.
It can, it certainly can, butit can also mean having a
courageous or a difficultconversation and being the one

(04:06):
to initiate that, to make surethat something moves forward.
We have courage in thosemoments because it's something
that we care about, it's aperson that we care about, a
project that we care about,we're showing care and that's
why we get so passionate and sosometimes angry, and we can
absolutely harness those thingsinto making something better.

(04:28):
But it's that courage piecethat has to go along with it to
ensure that we get it done inthe best way possible that sees
the best outcomes for the mostpeople.
So, while today's card is abeautiful card, it did not have
all of the different types ofsymbolism that I normally like

(04:49):
to walk through, but I wanted tostill do it because Boudicca is
she herself, was and is asymbol of so many things to so
many different people.
So, with that, what comes tomind for you?
That's all for today's card.
