Speaker 1 (00:01):
Hi there and welcome
to the Cardcast.
I'm so glad you're here.
I'm Natasha and I'm here toshare a daily practice.
I love pulling an oracle cardand interpreting it through the
lens of my life.
My goal is to help you seeoracle cards as a tool for
(00:22):
noticing and anchoring in yourday.
So take a deep breath, pull upa chair and let's see whatacle
cards as a tool for noticing andanchoring in your day.
So take a deep breath, pull upa chair and let's see what the
cards have to say.
Today's card is from theIllustrated Bestiary Collectible
Box Set Guidance and Ritualsfrom 36 Inspiring Animals by
(00:43):
Maya Toll, and the card isDiscover your Purpose and it's
the earthworm.
And on this card we see plantsgrowing around this circle of
dirt and in this dirt we see alot of inroads or kind of cracks
.
In the dirt, we see some littlepebbles and we see the three
(01:05):
earth inroads or kind of cracksin the dirt, we see some little
pebbles and we see the threeearthworms, each kind of in
their own coil, but all togetherkind of like a Triskelion and
the Triskelion symbol with thethree different elements.
It can represent life, deathand rebirth, body, mind and
(01:25):
spirit, past, present, future, right, kind of those concepts
that typically come in threes.
And the earthworm when it alsosays here, discover your purpose
.
Earthworms, their job is toregenerate the earth.
Whether it consciously knowsthat or not, that's what it's
(01:45):
doing day in and day out.
It knows its purpose and it'sreally symbolic of when you know
your purpose.
A lot of things are easier.
You can connect your dailytasks, the things you do every
day, to kind of this biggerpurpose.
And even though it seems likelife is so much more complex and
(02:06):
in certain ways it certainly isSome things like this can be
like so simple.
Every morning, I know I have apractice of not only pulling an
Oracle card, but of also lookingat my day and saying, okay,
here are the things that I'mgrateful for and here are the
things I have coming up, butspending just a little bit of
(02:28):
time also reflecting on whatkind of energy is that going to
need from me to be successful?
And there are some things thatare so obviously tied to my
purpose that they seem like theywill take almost no effort at
all, and then I'm going to havea really great time doing them.
And then there are other thingsthat don't feel tied to my
(02:52):
purpose but that maybe are stillimportant to do, and I think
when we can acknowledge thosedifferent pieces, it helps us
show up better for both thingsand then also to see if there
are things that we justshouldn't be doing anymore,
things that we can remove fromour daily activities.
So it really so.
This card for me really makes methink, like, what is my daily
(03:14):
work and how does that tie to mybigger purpose?
And not every tie has to belike such a solid this would
hold up in a court of law typeof scenario.
Is it moving me in thatdirection or is it taking me
away from that direction?
So how can I kind of reflect onthat?
(03:37):
If I look at my daily work and Isee that 80% of it is not
moving me towards what I believemy purpose to be, I need to
rebalance those scales.
And it doesn't mean doing more,it doesn't mean in addition to.
It really means instead of.
So, instead of these thingsthat are taking me away from it,
(03:59):
I'm going to do these thingsthat are moving me towards it,
and what are those things that Ican control and negotiate with
and what are the things that Ican't, and then finding the
other things to make sure thatthere's that balance there.
So, with that, what comes tomind for you?
That's all for today's card.
(04:20):
