Speaker 1 (00:01):
Hi there and welcome to the Cardcast.
I'm so glad you're here.
I'm Natasha and I'm here toshare a daily practice.
I love pulling an oracle cardand interpreting it through the
lens of my life.
My goal is to help you seeoracle cards as a tool for
noticing and anchoring in yourday.

(00:21):
So take a deep breath, pull upa chair and let's see what the
cards have to say.
Today's card is from theIllustrated Bestiary Guidance
and Rituals from 36 InspiringAnimals by Maya Toll, and our
card is the honeybee and it saysnavigate by the Sun.

(00:43):
Honeybees.
They represent hard work anddedication and teamwork.
And on this card what we see isin the center you have this big
flower, then we have all thesezigzag movements right outside
of that flower and then we havethe honeycomb, kind of creating
a frame for us on the card.

(01:05):
What I appreciate about thesymbolism here is that bees,
when they're looking for flowers, they fly a zigzag pattern so
they can find pollen and then, once they find it, they go back
home and tell the others.
So on the card, we have thatflower in the center.
They use the zigzag pattern tofind it.
They go back to their hivewhere they let the others know

(01:29):
that hey, there's this abundanceof opportunity in this other
place.
Bees, famously, have incrediblyaccurate internal compasses.
They seem to be all over theplace.
Right that zigzag, they're allover the place.
Then they find what they arelooking for.
They can head straight back.
And I think this brings up thisSometimes we can feel like our

(01:53):
minds are all over the place.
I know I feel that way sometimes, where you're just like is this
the thought, Is this thedirection, is this the thing
that I need to be following?
Sometimes we need to let ourbrains do that for a little bit.
Just let it zigzag, let it goto all these different pieces.

(02:13):
It's kind of like your ownprivate brainstorming session,
right?
Like no idea is a bad idea.
So if we let it zigzag notforever but for a while then
we'll find the thing that wewere actually looking for.
Then we'll find the thing thatwe were actually looking for,
and once we find that thing,we'll be able to hone in and
bring others along on thejourney.
But not everybody needs tonecessarily be involved in the

(02:34):
zigzag part of our journey.
They can know.
Once we're at kind of a more, once we have found the flower,
that's when we'll share thatpiece Also on this card.
The zigzag kind of branches outfrom the flower.
It looks a little bit like asun and the sun is, you know,

(02:55):
representative of expansiveness,of moving energy, of joy.
And so sometimes I think, when Iam kind of stuck in that place
where I'm zigzagging mentally, knowing that I'm going to get to
that place where it breaks inmy favor and I figured out the
thing, there is thatexpansiveness I'm really glad

(03:18):
that I let myself bounce to allthese different things to get
here, because all thosedifferent pieces ultimately made
up what the final result was.
Then that mental buzzing calmsand I'm able to say, yep, here's
the thing, and I can get youback there very quickly.
You don't have to go on thatmental journey, we just went on.

(03:41):
So when you hear the differentsymbols and things I brought up
today, what comes to mind foryou?
That's all for today's card.
For more insights, you can findme on Instagram and YouTube at
the underscore card cast.
I'll see you in the nextepisode.
