Speaker 1 (00:01):
Hi there and welcome
to the Cardcast.
I'm Natasha and I'm so gladyou're here.
Each day I pull an oracle cardand reflect on what it means in
the context of everyday life.
My hope is to help you usethese cards as simple tools for
awareness and grounding.
So take a deep breath, settlein and let's see what today's
(00:23):
card has to say.
Breath, settle in and let's seewhat today's card has to say.
Our card today is a tarot cardfrom the Candle in the Cave
Tarot and we have the Page ofWands.
The Page of Wands classicallyrepresents exploration and
excitement and being open-mindedto different things and having
(00:43):
that curiosity.
On the card we see anindividual who is holding a
staff.
It's very celebratory.
In the background, kind of faroff in the background, you can
see that there's a mountainrange, indicating that, yes, it
is the start of potentially, anadventure, or an adventure could
(01:04):
be on the horizon.
What I appreciate about theenergy of this card, if you will
, is that it's very creative.
It's very enthusiastic andconfident and courageous All
those things that go along withthat exploration and curious
(01:24):
mindset.
This is always an exciting card, I think, to draw because it
encourages me to look at thoseplaces where maybe I do have
some energy around them, maybe Iam excited about them, but I'm
probably putting them on theback burner for some reason, and
(01:45):
that can be any reason.
Maybe other work tasks aretaking over, and it's just a
season where that needs more ofmy attention.
It could be that sometimes I'lljust get an idea and I'm like
that's a great idea, Idefinitely want to do that idea,
and then I don't do that idea.
I really just praise myself forhaving the idea, as if that is
(02:06):
bringing the full idea tofruition.
This card, though, reallyencourages you to not only
celebrate that creativity, buthow do I actually bring it into
play?
Am I not doing it?
Because it's new, it's too new,and I just don't have the
confidence to believe that I cando that thing.
(02:27):
I believe it was PippiLongstocking who said I've never
done that before, so I think Ishould definitely be able to do
that.
Sometimes we can think, oh, Ineed all this expertise, or I
need I need these differentcertifications, or I have to
take a class, or I have to doall these things there.
All these conditions have totake a class, or I have to do
all these things, all theseconditions have to be met before
(02:48):
I can start to do this thing, and our own experiences likely
and then many experiences fromacross the world have shown us
that that's not necessarily thecase.
We can just jump into somethingthat we're excited about.
It also represents thatopen-mindedness.
(03:09):
So if I'm thinking about mylife in the places where maybe
I'm not being open-minded, maybeI am stuck in a fixed mindset
because of the situation and itfeels familiar in a way that
I've experienced negativelypreviously, maybe it's that I am
not in a place of balance whereI have the ability to reframe
(03:33):
different things.
Maybe my resilience is a littlebit depleted, and so it also
makes me consider where do Ineed to be more open-minded, and
never assume that I knowanyone's intentions.
It's just about how do Inavigate through this to make
sure that I am being as open aspossible so we can get to the
(03:55):
best end result.
Whether that's a work thing,whether that's a in your
personal life thing, thatopen-mindedness is key to
getting through and to the otherside of a lot of different
things.
So, with this celebratoryfigure of the page of wands, I
would invite you to think aboutwhere are the places that you're
(04:18):
pretty excited about somethingand maybe you haven't taken a
step yet, but what's exciting toyou right now?
That's it for today's card.
