Speaker 1 (00:01):
Hi there and welcome to the CardCast.
I'm Natasha and I'm so gladyou're here.
Each day I pull an oracle cardand reflect on what it means in
the context of everyday life.
My hope is to help you usethese cards as simple tools for
awareness and grounding.
So take a deep breath, settlein and let's see what today's

(00:25):
card has to say.
Today's card is from the CitadelOracle by Fenn Inkwright, and
our card is the painter, and itsays productivity and creation.
This is a really beautiful cardand there are a lot of things
going on.
There are three paint strokesthat are led by a paintbrush in

(00:49):
three columns across the card, and three is representative of
communication andself-expression and creativity.
So very fitting for the paintercard.
The paint strokes are red, andred is pointing to vitality and
passion and good fortune.

(01:11):
And then it's painting oversomething floral that appears to
be a rose, and roses are beautyand love.
And then there's also a watersymbol at the bottom of the card
and water being cleansing,renewal.
It could be emotions.
So we have a lot of reallygreat symbolism on this card.

(01:35):
What immediately comes to mindwhen I see it is this font of
creativity and how ourcreativity can really make us
more productive in a lot ofother ways I know.
Recently I did an episode whereI talked about healing through
art, and we can heal through art.

(01:55):
We find our creativity throughart.
Whatever your art is, let thatfont of creativity help make you
more productive, not only inthe arts, but in other areas.
In looking at this card also,it's not until the paint strokes
are completed that we can seethe floral, that we can see the

(02:19):
roses underneath, and I thinkthat also points to we have to
get started in order to figureout where something is going.
Sometimes we think we need allthe answers and we want to have
these very perfect plans.
I believe in the military theysay that no plan survives first

(02:40):
contact.
How could it?
Because it's, you know know, planned in a very safe,
insulated environment.
So with this card it's pointingto when we get started.
The path kind of unfolds aswe're walking.
Start with that first brushstroke, start with that first
word, start with that firstaction or that first

(03:00):
conversation and that's whatwill ultimately propel us into
this beautiful creation, thisbeauty, this vitality, this
potential renewal and being ableto overcome different
challenges and emotions andreally lean into our own
selfression.

(03:21):
This is a really vibrant andseemingly passionate and
creative card.
As you move forward, kind ofthinking about this card, where
are those places where you canbe more creative, where you can
leverage that creativity and theperspective you have when

(03:42):
you're creative in other ways, through your other types of work
, and is there beauty or isthere a creation that could come
to fruition if you just tookthe first step?
That's it for today's card.
For more reflections and acloser look at the cards

(04:03):
themselves, you can find me onInstagram, youtube and TikTok at
the underscore card cast.
I'll see you in the nextepisode.
