Ariah and I have known each other for a while since he is bestie with my cousin. Ariah is a private chef and independent music producer. A Korean American Bostonian with over 15 years in the kitchen and a graduate from Johnson and Whales. Additionally, Ariah has been making music for over 10 years working with artists locally, nationally, and internationally. He goes by Seoul in the music world. I’m a Black woman, an educator turned tech entrepreneur but still an educator. Building a platform called THE CHAIR is a Black and Brown centered tech platform dedicated to supporting people on their hair journey. You can design hairboards, connect to hair stylists, and share hair care tips all in one space for a more joyous and streamlined experience. I built THE CHAIR Podcast to highlight hair journeys. A reminder to keep creating magic. As people sit in THE CHAIR you will get more than just hair stories. You will be immersed into experiences surrounding education, entrepreneurship, and identity.
