In this episode, I reflect on Australia Day 2025 and the broader concept of national culture.
Every nation has a culture shaped by its people, and I challenge you to consider: what do you want your national culture to be?
Drawing on examples from Australian history and my family’s immigrant journey from Hungary, I discuss how culture evolves, how migration influences it, and why not all cultures are of equal value.
I explore key elements of Australian culture—fairness, egalitarianism, helping others, a sense of humour, and standing against injustice—and the importance of protecting these values against forces like wokeness, political correctness, and other minority-driven agendas that threaten cultural harmony.
I share my thoughts on why pushing back and speaking up is essential to preserving the freedoms and principles we hold dear that in fact create our culture.
On a lighter note, I share an Aussie joke and a health tip: always read the information on any medication or injection you’re taking.
As always, I encourage you to embrace passion, self-awareness, and the joy of living fully.
Thank you for tuning in.
Until next time, may your week be filled with energy-generating passion, fun, and fulfilment!
