Right next to the
Kirklands.

A little controversy with him.

First off, there's kind of a.
Let's talk about the doubleeagle.
Speaker 5 (02:51):
Yeah.
Speaker 2 (02:51):
Okay, let's.
Yeah, dan, sir, the floor isyour Oops wrong one.
Oops wrong one.
Oops wrong one.
I don't know why it's all blackTractor you're out.
Speaker 1 (03:05):
There one oh wrong
one.
Speaker 4 (03:06):
I don't know why it's
all black directory.
You're out there, we go allright.
There.
It is there, we go, okay.
So first off, I started off theday extremely late.
I woke up to missed calls fromcolby foster and trey.
Oh, literally called me 10minutes for we're supposed to ta
off.
So I woke up, hauled ass downto boulder creek.
By the time I get there they'reon hole three.
(03:27):
Oh wow, jump right out of thecart, literally right out of the
cart.
Say what's up, ask the number, hit my shot, make a 30 footer
for birdie bang, start off thehole.
One under birdie the next holebang.
Two under par, the next Par,the next hole.
My fourth hole, hole six parfive.
(03:48):
Hit a good drive down the rightside, just went through the
fairway, had a slight downhillangle in the rough, had 272 in
Good angle of the flag, took outmy 17 degree and hit a really
solid shot.
It was about 10 feet right ofthe flag flag and it just was
going right towards the flag, landed just short of the green
and we're on the fairway me,trey, colby.
(04:09):
We're all standing five feetfrom each other and we're
watching it from the fairwayjust screaming go in, go in, go
in and next thing you know theball disappeared.
Foster was about 30, was about30 yards in front of us.
He turns around and he's likeit's in.
We all went nuts in the fairway.
We drove up there.
Speaker 3 (04:32):
How many yards was it
?
Speaker 4 (04:34):
272 yards away.
Speaker 3 (04:36):
A hole out from 272
yards.
Speaker 4 (04:40):
Out of the rough, out
of the rough.
Speaker 2 (04:43):
It's crazy out there,
but it's still not the fairway.
Speaker 4 (04:45):
It was a good line.
The rough the grain was goingwith me, but yeah, it wasn't
like deep rough or nothing likethat.
Speaker 3 (04:51):
Who cares about the
rough?
It was 272 yards.
Speaker 2 (04:54):
Oh, I know it was
nuts.
That adds to the level ofdifficulty to it Wow.
Speaker 4 (05:00):
Yeah yeah, insane,
and it was yeah.
And then it was just on fromthere, like I was five under
after four and I just kind of Ididn't make any mistakes, I
didn't.
I didn't play all 18 holes.
I played 16 holes, I shot sevenunder and I didn't make one
bogey.
So it was uh, it was one ofthose rounds so you did.
Speaker 3 (05:16):
Did you have the like
uh thought to go play the first
three holes to like see whatwould happen?
Speaker 4 (05:23):
I, I thought about it
.
I thought about going to oneand two and uh, my buddy sammy
was working in the shop.
I'm sure we could have workedit out, but honestly, it was
also about 105 at that point, yeah, yeah, and I had to go to
work too.
We got off the golf course, like at.
It was like 10, 40, 11 o'clock.
I had to go to work at one.
So I was just like you knowwhat fuck it I'm just gonna get
out of here.
I won't count it, but mentally,mentally, I knew what I did oh
(05:46):
yeah yeah
Speaker 2 (05:47):
yeah that's awesome.
Yeah, that's so amazing.
Congratulations.
Yeah, it was nuts.
Speaker 4 (05:52):
It was nuts, thanks
maddie speaking of, speaking of
congratulations and hole outsmatt, mine wasn't as impressive
it doesn't matter a whole lot tohold up impressive.
Speaker 2 (06:01):
uh, we didn't
actually see it going home.
We didn't know until we got upto the green.
Uh, it was my first timeplaying red rock.
Uh, julian and I played itafter we worked on saturday.
Uh, big matt joined us for thefront nine and then, uh, it was
the 14th hole, so uphill little, not really much of a dog leg uh
(06:22):
, but uphill shot, hit a gooddrive, had 130 in and hit it.
I mean it was as soon as itleft the club, it was dead at
the flag and Julian's like thathas a chance, that has a chance.
And so we drive up there and wesee one ball on the back fringe
and I'm like I don't think Ihit it that far.
So, yeah, sure enough, walkedup and it was in.
(06:43):
So, and I'm like I don't thinkI hit it that far.
So, yeah, sure enough, walkedup and it was in.
So that was a couple of holeouts for the boys over the
weekend.
That's awesome, the first time Iplayed Red Rock and it's July
and a lot of courses are beat up.
I wasn't expecting much, butthe green complexes out there
are fantastic.
(07:03):
There's tons of undulation.
I mean those, those grid, theybreak and they move and the
mountain seriously, you know, has an effect on it.
I know a lot of people don'tbelieve in that, but when you're
up that high, on the side ofthe mountain.
Yeah, you're that close, yeah it, it affects it and uh, but I
(07:24):
had I had a really good time.
I it's a fun, it's a.
It's a country club fun.
Speaker 4 (07:30):
Golf it's fun, yeah
it's yeah, yeah, it's a good
course.
The greens.
The greens are the test.
That's what make it tough, because it's not an overall,
it's not an overly tough course, but those greens will you know,
they'll test you yeah, so I Ishot two under on the back with
the eagle.
Speaker 2 (07:45):
I parred every hole
except that one that I eagled.
I just couldn't get anything todrop on the putts, but uh I I
really enjoyed it.
It's got it's got a little bitof an arroyo vibe to it when you
drive through the neighborhoodon that one hole and we pulled
up and I told big matt, I'm like, uh, what'd you sneak us on the
back nine at arroyo, what'sgoing on here and uh.
(08:06):
But overall I think some of theviews where you're along, a
couple times you know you'reright on the edge of the
mountain range, which you don'tthere's, I don't think you're
right up on the mountain outthere.
I mean, yeah, you're you're onthe mountain it's it's kind of
sick and uh awesome views of thevalley.
The green complexes were good.
(08:28):
The bunkers were well.
One bunker wasn't, but thebunkers were pretty good and for
being as hot as it is out rightnow, the course was in really
good shape.
Nice, I enjoyed it.
It will do well on the rankingsfor me.
Speaker 3 (08:47):
um I don't mind the
course, I just, I just don't
like the layout is it as bad asa royo?
Speaker 6 (08:54):
is it it's?
Is it it's not as extreme right?
Speaker 4 (08:58):
I don't think it's as
bad as a royo.
Speaker 3 (09:00):
No, I don't think
it's a matter of what is the one
hole where there's one hole onthe other side of the
neighborhood.
Speaker 2 (09:06):
Yeah, that's where
you're going to drive through.
Yeah, that's Terrible.
Speaker 3 (09:10):
That's terrible.
Speaker 2 (09:11):
Terrible design.
Speaker 3 (09:12):
Yeah.
But I mean Not a terrible hole, but it's just like it takes you
25 minutes to play that holebecause it's literally one hole
across the street yeah, youcould say that about both
courses.
There they're like the way therouting and the flow is terrible
.
Speaker 2 (09:29):
There's no flow no
flow yeah, I thought there was.
I thought there was a good flowto it, though, uh, the private
more than a real deal.
Yes, yes, yeah absolutely, yeah, yeah yeah I mean the, the last
hole, that it's nice long, parpar-5.
It's got the big houses and youget the views of the city.
It's a good hole.
(09:50):
I love the back nine.
I thought the back nine wasgreat, front nine little.
Speaker 3 (09:59):
He's just very
excited to play a course he
hasn't played in Vegas.
Speaker 2 (10:02):
He's just living high
.
Speaker 3 (10:03):
right now he's only
got a course.
He hasn't played in Vegas yeah,I was.
He's just living high right now.
He's only got a couple moreleft.
Speaker 1 (10:08):
He's got to play what
?
Speaker 3 (10:09):
Durango Hills, Eagle
Crest, Highland Falls.
Speaker 2 (10:14):
Summit and the win,
those executive courses.
Speaker 4 (10:17):
I still got to do the
win too.
Joe, you're the only one that'splayed the win right.
Speaker 3 (10:21):
Yes, I've played it
twice, if you guys didn't know.
Speaker 6 (10:24):
Yeah, with the Golden
Knights right, yeah me and Mark
.
Speaker 3 (10:28):
Stone were out there
just fucking hitting little
chippers in there, you know.
Speaker 6 (10:31):
That was like right
around when you went to Bethpage
, I think, wasn't it.
Speaker 3 (10:34):
Yeah, I've also
played Bethpage Black yeah.
Speaker 1 (10:38):
Oh, alright, you
ready for a funny story.
Yeah, Shoot it.
Speaker 2 (10:45):
I was embarrassed
last night and I sent Jeremy a
text message.
Speaker 5 (10:51):
And I said, hey, I'm
going to put this in a group
chat, but I'm a littleembarrassed.
Speaker 2 (10:56):
I go why are we
playing Prairie Dunes on the
Nebraska trip?
I looked it up.
I'm like it's in kansas, it'sfar away.
I thought we were only innebraska.
And jeremy goes, jeremy goes,no, no, it's prairie club, not
prairie dunes.
Okay, that makes more sense.
(11:21):
So I am very excited.
Now I am too yeah about thetrip because I was geeked to
play land man.
I was geeked to play whereverwe're going, when we get there,
and but then I was like why arewe driving from?
Speaker 3 (11:37):
omaha to kansas to
denver why are we going way out
of the way?
Speaker 2 (11:43):
I was researching
Prairie Dunes and I'm like it's
an old club, been around a longtime, it's private, maybe it's
got some history.
Speaker 4 (11:51):
I'm like have any of
you guys reached out to
Ballyneal.
Speaker 3 (11:56):
We don't have time to
do it.
Speaker 2 (11:58):
Joe said no.
Joe said, we can't.
Speaker 3 (12:00):
We don't have time.
Speaker 4 (12:04):
You guys got to make
time, if it happens.
Speaker 3 (12:06):
I would skip the
second day at Prairie Club to go
play ballet now I would.
Speaker 6 (12:14):
Two, three courses at
Prairie Club.
There's two courses.
Speaker 1 (12:20):
Two courses and a
short course.
Speaker 3 (12:22):
They flop them right.
One day the public is on thiscourse, and then the next day
it's private on this course, andthen there's a short course and
there's a putting course.
I could give two shits.
I would rather play a Tom Doakin the middle of fucking
Colorado than I'll skip no, no,I just want to play Bally, neal
(12:45):
Ballyneal.
Speaker 2 (12:46):
Oh yeah.
Speaker 3 (12:48):
Well, Drop said
Sandhills and Ballyneal are the
greatest golf Experiences andgreatest golf courses he's ever
played.
Speaker 2 (12:58):
He's played a lot of
places.
Yeah, I mean Sandhills is.
Speaker 3 (13:02):
It's up there,
private Uber you can get, yeah I
mean I'm very stoked forprairie club, don't get me wrong
, but like it's gonna be a greattrip regardless if you can play
ballyneal.
Uh, I probably take ballyneal, but that's personal opinion,
personal preference and all that.
But maybe we can drive, maybeon the way to the airport to
(13:24):
denver, we can just like findout where rodeo dunes is and
we'll just pull in real quick.
I know we'll take a yeah, we'lljust take a quick picture, be
like hey, we were here and thenyou can go play.
Speaker 4 (13:33):
You can go play
common ground.
I think that's a joke out indenver common ground.
Speaker 3 (13:38):
Yes, that is a dope,
but we don't have time.
If you have time, and then wedon't, we don't, we don't know,
we, we are.
Our flight is at like 8 pm thatday, so we're we're playing
early in the morning that dayand then getting in the car at
like 12 and driving four or fivehours to the airport before our
flight through the middle ofnothing if nothing.
Speaker 2 (14:02):
If bob was with us,
we'd have like a three hour
window.
Speaker 3 (14:07):
We could get at least
nine holes in at least.
Speaker 4 (14:09):
We could get a short
course in for sure.
Speaker 2 (14:11):
Yes, yes, no, but
yeah, that was, that was
embarrassing.
I sent Cliff a message.
I'm like I go.
I have to tell you this Cause.
Why'd you pick this one, cliff?
Speaker 3 (14:20):
I go.
Speaker 2 (14:20):
I was really kind of
like not looking forward to
driving to.
Kansas.
He started laughing.
He goes yeah, I got it mixed uptoo, it's easy to get mixed up,
for sure.
But my God, those two coursesthere look absolutely incredible
, and we can play as many holes,as we want each day.
Speaker 6 (14:44):
And the cabin is like
right by the practice facility.
Speaker 2 (14:49):
There's a little
walking trail to the putting
course from it.
It's like oh, oh oh.
And it's going to be light outuntil 10.
Speaker 3 (14:59):
I mean I'm super
stoked to play Prairie Club, but
dude, landman, I cannot wait toget to fucking landman.
I cannot wait to see that on myyellow head cover yep yeah,
yeah, I can't wait, I cannotwait all right.
Speaker 2 (15:16):
So, uh, the the
calloway elite night edition,
dan is is is gonna be a a buyer.
Uh, so I this happens all thetime at fittings people like, oh
, I just don't like the green, Ijust don't like the green and
I'll go.
We have an all black one andlike are you serious?
I'm like yeah, and so I'll justset the club down.
I'm like, see, it's all black.
(15:37):
Why is it that people obsessed,or get obsessed about an all
black driver when, when they'relooking at it from the top down,
it's all black anyways?
Is it just a different look foryou?
What is it?
Speaker 4 (15:53):
I'm sure I think it's
just the overall aesthetics of
a golf club.
You know, just because it looksgood at a dress doesn't mean
like you're not going to likethe overall looks of it.
You know, if your cavity looksfunky you got some extra designs
it might take away from somepeople.
You know, not me I love, Idon't.
I'm not bothered by the greencolor at all in the Callaway.
(16:15):
I think they could have donesomething different because a
lot of people bitched about it.
But you know, I think overallthe people that do bitch about
it, they just want an overlyaesthetically pleasing driver,
sole address, shaft grip, all ofit.
Speaker 2 (16:29):
It's like if they
would just do this from the
beginning and then make aspecial edition green one and
see that nobody buys it.
Oh okay, Maybe we should juststick with black.
Speaker 4 (16:41):
Yeah, I think every
company should come out with a
black one and then, if you wantcolor, just give them the option
to customize it with color yeah, kind of like with the yellow
and green and blue faces on thetailor-made clothes.
Speaker 2 (16:55):
Yeah, on the
tailor-made, exactly.
All right, lab.
Speaker 3 (17:02):
I'm sorry I was
looking at something, but I just
think, as far as the colorwayschemes go, I just think like
the black looks just clean, andyou know, like people do so much
funky things, like, uh, taylormade with the gold and the
silver, and like people justlike clean lines, clean shit,
like you know, and that's theway of like houses nowadays too.
(17:24):
Like you think about modern Imean people are loving the
modern like clean lines, simplecolors, like I just think it's
like, uh, you know, you live inthat house.
You you never see the bottom ofthat club well, you never see,
uh the head cover, unless you'retaking it off either.
But you know I don't want a badhead cover what you see.
(17:49):
The head cover all the time no,I just, I just think it's.
It's just it looks clean.
I think it's like oh, thatthing looks clean.
You know what I mean?
I think that's what it is.
It's like I, I feel confidentplaying that because it's like
clean and slim and I think thatbreeds confidence in the way
that you will hit the golf club.
(18:10):
I mean not necessarily right,it's not going to change your
swing, but like you feelconfident and like I like the
look of that and that's why welike blades.
I mean because it looks clean, sleek.
You know, everybody likesskinny people, right?
Speaker 2 (18:35):
It baffles me that a
color that you don't look at
when you're playing the gamethat you don't see Because I
don't know if you know Joe, butI wrote I love dicks on the
bottom of your driver, like sixmonths ago, and you've never
seen it when you're playing thegame that you don't see because
I I I don't know if you know,joe, but I wrote I love dicks on
the bottom of your driver, likesix months ago, and you've
never seen it yeah, I mean it'sfine.
Speaker 3 (18:51):
I mean I haven't seen
it, so now I need a new driver.
And if I see it I need a newdriver.
But I think I just like food.
Right, the eyes eat first, theeyes eat first, the eyes eat
first.
Speaker 4 (19:05):
You know what I mean.
Speaker 3 (19:06):
What a thumper.
The eyes eat first, even infood, right?
Oh, you're going to go to arestaurant, right?
What do you do?
You check out Matt checks outGoogle Images, we check out Yelp
and then, oh, that looks good, that's where it is Google.
Images.
That's what it is.
The eyes eat first.
That looks good.
I want to try it.
(19:26):
Simple explanation.
Speaker 4 (19:30):
That looks like shit.
I don't want to eat thatExactly.
Speaker 2 (19:34):
Exactly.
Yeah, I don't know.
For me personally, I don't getit when people are all upset
about the green.
I was't I.
For me personally, I, I don'tget it.
It's like when people are allupset about the green, I was
like there's, you don't ever seethat.
Now, now, if you're showcasingit in your bag and you're in
(19:54):
your living room and you, youknow don't like it totally
understand that, but for themost part you don't like the
color.
Speaker 3 (20:01):
Are you going to go
buy something you don't like the
color of?
Are you going gonna go to thestore, like, maybe it looks good
for you, maybe it slims youdown?
Are you gonna go to the store?
You maybe you don't like apurple shirt, but the shirt's
dope, right, but you don't lookgood, you don't like the look of
purple.
Are you gonna buy it?
I mean, you're, we're notwearing it, right, we're not
going out in public wearing it.
(20:22):
But like that's what we'retalking about.
Like people see with their eyesfirst.
Speaker 2 (20:27):
No, I understand that
, I just.
But you don't see this, that's,that's the thing that well,
I'll tell you what I don't seethe turbulators on a ping driver
.
I see those they.
That is not aestheticallyappeasing to me because I look
down and I see those same thingwith the crank.
Speaker 3 (20:44):
I don't like seeing
that on top, but a colorway on
the bottom you see, occasionallyI mean, I'm not like, say, I'm
not the biggest fan of a ofpurple right using this, maybe
I'll never buy a purple keychain.
I don't see it, because it's inmy pocket.
I put the keys in my car, Idon't see it, the wheel blocks
(21:05):
it.
But I'm never gonna buy apurple keychain because I that's
what it is, that's, that's theeffect I I do I like?
Situations.
Speaker 2 (21:16):
But exactly, yeah, no
, I, I understand it's a
personal preference, but I whatI don't understand is how you
can take a personal preferencefor something that you don't see
.
You know, while you're it's atool that you use to play the
game and you you, I mean, I havenever once looked down as I'm
getting ready to hit a tee shotand seeing the green on my
(21:38):
driver.
Speaker 6 (21:40):
And I don't think
it's about that part, it's not
about that, it's just beingthere at all, because you're
going to see it the same amountof times you're going to swing
it.
Speaker 3 (21:48):
Yeah, you're going to
see it occasionally.
I guess it just doesn't botherme.
Speaker 6 (21:52):
I think that's what
it is.
Speaker 2 (21:53):
You're the exception
to the rule.
I'm the exception.
Yes, yeah, you're the onlyperson that thinks that way, the
only one.
Because you're a psycho, psychogolfer.
(22:16):
All right, uh, lab and costco.
Speaker 1 (22:16):
Uh, haven't reached
out to ask sam about this,
because I I don't know if he'deven tell me about it or not?
Speaker 2 (22:20):
um, what not his
first?
Oh, so that's what?
How long are we into the show?
22 minutes, that's not bad, uh.
Opinions on mini driverwhatever works yeah whatever
works.
Speaker 6 (22:32):
I think they're cool.
I mean I love the titleist one.
I think it's awesome and Ithink it's cool.
Speaker 3 (22:36):
They did the taylor,
made throwback, but I'm not
spending four or five hundreddollars on.
That's my whole thing.
Speaker 2 (22:47):
They're cool as fuck.
But If you have a problemhitting a driver, you spray it
all over the place.
Try one.
Speaker 3 (22:52):
It's done wonders for
Vic Sanchez Vic's in a mini
driver.
Speaker 2 (22:59):
Yeah, he's got the.
Taylormade and I think he wasgetting the Elite one too.
Speaker 4 (23:04):
Did he get the R7?
Speaker 6 (23:07):
He has the one before
that, I think.
Speaker 2 (23:09):
Yeah, he got the
Burner.
Speaker 6 (23:10):
Okay.
Speaker 3 (23:13):
Honestly, it's all
about finding what works for you
.
Speaker 2 (23:17):
If you struggle with
the big stick, but you can hit a
3-wood off the tee.
There you go.
Speaker 4 (23:23):
Get you a UW Apex.
Speaker 3 (23:27):
You might get a
double leagues 270-yard hole on
the card.
Speaker 4 (23:31):
Easiest clubs to hit
that comment by.
Speaker 6 (23:34):
Hando about the
Mizunos.
100% agree, man.
Those things look so awesomefrom the cavity, but the offset
is heinous.
Do they have a lot?
It's more than the last, forsure.
It's like, it's like they'regoing backwards yeah I mean set
them up.
Speaker 2 (23:55):
Yeah, really that's
disappointing trying to sell
more irons to more people yeah,I mean, which is understandable.
Speaker 6 (24:01):
I mean there's
probably more people that don't
care than our offset snobs.
Speaker 3 (24:08):
But right, yeah.
Speaker 6 (24:09):
The people that are
going to buy the blades don't
want the offset.
I would say majority, exactly.
Speaker 3 (24:14):
Yeah.
Speaker 4 (24:14):
Yeah.
Speaker 3 (24:15):
I think that's the
whole thing they're trying to.
They're trying to sell morethings to more people, to fit
more people to, for it lookswell for them, or it's.
It's everything's a company,everything's a brand, everything
is trying to sell you something.
You know.
Speaker 2 (24:32):
That's what it comes
down to you can't come out with
a mini first it's called threewood stretch yeah, a mini driver
is basically a 3-wood.
Speaker 3 (24:42):
I mean with you know,
more MOI For the most part.
Yeah, yeah, exactly.
Speaker 2 (24:54):
All right, so Lab at
Costco.
I haven't talked to Stan aboutthis, Not sure if he'd say
anything to me about it or not,but Roar shared a picture with
me from because I'm not in theFacebook group, but I did see a
video come up.
Yeah, he said.
Regarding Costco, there'sabsolutely not authorized to be
selling our putters.
We have no idea how it happenedand we are on top of it.
(25:16):
We would never make a choice tocheapen the brand that way.
Speaker 6 (25:25):
That's what I was
going say.
I feel I I love costco.
I'm a huge, we shop at costcoall the time and I love it, but
seeing a lab there would cheapenlab to me, I think.
So I mean the calaboy clubsthey have there.
Granted, it's a specific set,it's it's for the people that
have an entire set of clubs.
It's the same thing?
(25:47):
I don't.
I look at those and thinkthat's not a real cali set,
that's a cost made for costco.
Yeah, that's the edge that'sthe edge set yeah kirk lab it's
fucking perfect, maddie.
Speaker 3 (26:04):
I think if they if
they did it, they should have
made one specific to costco, notthe df3.
Speaker 2 (26:11):
You know what I mean
so uh question then do you think
lab sold it to him, or how?
Speaker 3 (26:21):
else are they gonna
get it somehow?
I mean, he said he wouldn't doit.
Right, he said he didn't do ityes I mean, where else are they
gonna get all that stock?
It would have had to come fromlike a, a dick sporting goods,
getting rid of them or likesomething crazy, because for
them to throw it on the websiteis that's a lot of fucking
(26:42):
putters.
I don't know where else theywere on the costco website well,
that's the video I saw oh, youdid okay I saw a video where he
like pulled up the website andthey were on the website for
like 350 or something.
Well, I mean, I did, I didn'tcheck, I didn't check.
Speaker 2 (27:03):
So if you're LabGolf,
do you say no to a Costco PO?
Speaker 3 (27:15):
I think it truly
depends on where you're trying
to go with your brand or whereyou're at with your brand.
It is a business decision whatyou would do in that situation.
Speaker 2 (27:25):
Joe, you just bought
Lab Putters.
Are you turning down a CostcoPO?
Speaker 3 (27:35):
depends where I feel
I mean it's.
Maybe it depends how confidentI am in the brand uh what we've
done with social uh mediainfluencers and how many people
are talking about it this is acarl's golf land I know that's
the thing, but that's the thing.
Maybe maybe there was abottleneck, maybe we can, maybe
(27:57):
we can move some things around, make it a little cheaper, and
we're struggling trying tofulfill orders, and we can do it
through this manufacturer bymoving a weight here or there.
Make the shaft cheaper, and weneed money.
It's circumstantial, 100%.
Speaker 2 (28:17):
Depending on where
you're at.
Oh, it's on the website yeah,it's from Matt Boyd.
Speaker 4 (28:21):
He just sent me this
or us list.
But yeah, it's right there.
Costco lab DF3 stockpile $7,000, I think it's.
Speaker 3 (28:31):
I think it's so
circumstantial, right like it
depends how much you believe inyour brand, your company and
where you're at in your likesourcing and things like that.
Like, if we can hold out, maybethey can't hold out, maybe
they're just like so backed upthat they they cannot hold out
and they'll never survive unlessthey take this po from costco
(28:52):
what about you, jeremy?
Speaker 6 (28:56):
I mean if, if I'm
purely in it for money, then of
course Costco oh yeah yeah, if.
Speaker 3 (29:01):
I'm in it for money
100.
Speaker 6 (29:03):
But but if I mean
talking to Sam and knowing the
type of person he is, it doesn'tseem like that's the objective
yeah, I'm sure that that is anobjective.
Speaker 3 (29:12):
But that's the thing
though.
We talked to Sam and I thinkthey're struggling with like
manufacturing and maybe they'rebacked up, and that's why I say
that like maybe they needed todo this to make the brand
survive and that's why I'msaying like I couldn't say yes
or no, because when we if you goback and listen to the lab
(29:34):
podcast with sam from lab, Ifeel like it was necessary to do
this to help lab survive and ifthat's the case, then yes, I
would do it to try and make surethe brand survives yeah, dan
what do you think?
Speaker 4 (29:51):
fuck.
Yeah, I'm selling that shit.
All about the money, all aboutthat money, bro.
That's your job.
That's the reason why you gointo business is to make money.
Speaker 2 (29:59):
You don't sit there
to have a selective market.
Did you guys ever watch thatshow?
Make that money did you everwatch that docuseries on Costco?
Speaker 3 (30:10):
hey, shoot well
tomorrow.
Speaker 4 (30:11):
Pretendo good luck
out there, pick those greens
homie, do one of those Pretendobefore you go.
Does anyone know?
Sorry?
Speaker 2 (30:22):
here.
No, dan, maybe a little, but sothere was a.
It was a three-part series oncostco and it broke down all the
different sections, like theirfood, their toys and their
alcohol, and I mean the like thetoy section.
To get your toy in Costco, it'slike it's not easy.
(30:43):
You don't just submit hey, wewant our toys.
There's trials, there'smeetings there, I mean.
And the same thing with thewine, the Kirkland wine, like.
They go and find wineries thatare like and they invest a ton
in them.
It's amazing what they're doing.
It's not just a corner store.
Speaker 3 (31:07):
I watched a few
documentaries on that.
I'm sure Dan did too.
Speaker 4 (31:12):
Yeah, I'm a big
documentary guy.
Speaker 2 (31:14):
There's a brand of
stiletto that made $200 hammers
and he sold to a big box storeand started his own company,
again called martinez and ourfour hundred dollar hammers, but
made multi-million dollarsselling wild four hundred dollar
hammer, that's uh that's a lotof hammer.
I thought two hundred dollarsis a lot for a hammer.
Speaker 3 (31:34):
I thought ten dollars
was a lot if you use, why?
Speaker 2 (31:37):
is it every day for
your your trade.
That's fucking insane they sellleft-handed hammers any lefties
got a special arc on it justfor the lefties.
Ah, okay, next in the big newsthat happened, mr Grant Horvat,
(32:01):
is that right?
Did I say it right?
Speaker 3 (32:03):
Yeah.
Speaker 2 (32:06):
He said he's not
playing in the Barracuda because
the PGA Tour would not allowthe film crew.
And so I see, as I was watchingsocial media today, all the
creator golf fanboys are likeawesome way to go stand up for
yourself.
Blah, blah, blah, blah.
Pga.
Get off my lawn, you grumpy oldguys.
(32:27):
Yada, yada, yada.
But I was curious what you guysthought about this.
I I I mean, first off, you're.
You got an invite to play in aPGA Tour event and I understand
you are a YouTube golfer.
That's what you're famous for,that's your brand, that's how
you make your money.
But it's like you're going tosomebody else's house to play in
(32:53):
a game.
That's their rules.
Do you think it's a littleegotistical to say I'm not gonna
play because I can't bring myfilm crew?
Or could he have just playedand not worried about his film
crew because he got a fuckinginvite to play in a pga tour
event?
Speaker 6 (33:09):
I think the reason he
got the invite is because of
youtube and that's what he does, and plus he's he's playing with
live the live shootouts.
He's playing with the LiveShootouts.
He's playing with Phil.
Speaker 2 (33:20):
He's doing all these.
Speaker 6 (33:21):
Honestly, I think it
didn't matter to him.
I think the camera thing ismore important than playing in a
PGA Tour event.
That's what he does.
I mean, the whole purpose ofhim wanting to play in it and
wanting to accept it is for thecontent.
Speaker 3 (33:36):
And if he can't do
the content content, he's
already playing with fourplayers did you guys see the
video of him with scottyshuffler where he was talking?
He was like hey, if I getinvited, like, what would you do
?
Should I take it?
He's like because I feel likeI'm taking a spot from somebody
that deserves it more than me.
Did you see that clip?
(33:58):
that I have respect for yeah, exactly now, I don't know if
that's true or anything.
I mean, I did see him say thaton a video, right, uh, which is
awesome, like 100 respect forthat.
But, um, I also saw peoplesaying like he just doesn't want
to go out there and shoot an 85, you know, and look stupid,
(34:20):
which, yeah, it's a much hardergolf course, like who cares if
you shoot an 85 on a pga tour, like course it's fine, whatever.
Because he if if the reasoningis he couldn't bring his film
crew is like they could haveworked out a deal, I'm sure,
where it's like hey, guys, justfilm every shot that I take and
(34:42):
then I'll have your logo there.
You could have clippedsomething together with with the
footage.
But from what I saw, which waslike three months ago, he said
he doesn't want to take a spotfrom somebody that deserves it
more than he does, which is dope.
So I don't know.
I, we and we will never knowthe behind the door talkings or
(35:04):
the works of it all.
So who knows, dan, what do youthink?
Speaker 2 (35:10):
or do you even care?
Speaker 4 (35:12):
I mean no, I mean I,
I care a little bit, I mean I
can understand why, but I think,I think honestly, it probably
just comes down to the fact that, is he going to contend after
two days?
More than likely he'll miss thecut, more than likely.
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
Which, in turn, he'll have nofootage and he'll have zero
(35:33):
dollars.
Right, yeah?
So blow off the tournament itdoesn't make sense exactly and I
think that's where he took it sbut and, like joe said, you
know he's all buddy buddies witha lot of the live guys and
stuff.
So maybe he's kind of, you know, brought him to their side a
little bit and kind of he's.
Maybe he's a little bit antipga I doubt it because his dad's
(35:54):
pga but, um, you know, I thinkthat probably had a little bit
to do with it, the fact thathe's, you know, friends with the
live guys.
But I think really, justbecause it doesn't make any
sense for him monetarily, youknow, not going to get any
footage and he's probably notgoing to make any money missing
the cut.
Speaker 2 (36:10):
Yeah, Jay says I
think, if he wasn't in bed with
the live guys they may have lethim film.
Speaker 3 (36:20):
I don't know.
I don't think so.
No, that was half the battle, yeah that's half the fill.
Speaker 4 (36:22):
That was the whole
filth thing.
Yep, yeah, they all live.
They all left because they saidthey wanted to do content shit
pga.
Act.
Give me acts on that yeah, weown your rights.
Speaker 6 (36:29):
Yeah, I don't think
that and after the golf better
do something, taking his accountdown for posting videos of his
players.
I mean, I I was always on theside of pga tour, but I watch
way more youtube golf than I doany tour, and so for me it's
like I would rather watch theseguys anyway.
I just think I don't think thatmatters.
I don't think the pga tourwould budge even if he wasn't
(36:52):
playing with the lib players oranything.
I just think that's the waythey do it and there's no
changing it.
Speaker 3 (36:57):
Yeah, so yeah, yeah
yeah, I mean if it was, if, if
the reason is he didn't want totake a spot from somebody that
deserves it, like down for that100, say that say that, then he
did, though, like three monthsago on a video with scotty
scheffler, he set that.
Speaker 4 (37:16):
Okay, but today he
posted I'm not playing Cause
they won't let my film crew notyou know politics bro I don't
know, I think it's just changedfor him, like back then he could
say that because he wasn't asbig as he is now.
Yeah, yeah, Now that he'spartnered up with Phil and
Tacoma and all the other extrastuff that he's doing, winning
(37:38):
all these creator cups and stufflike that the kid's on a
different level now.
Speaker 3 (37:44):
I could see happening
where Liv lets him play in a
tournament and they let him film.
Speaker 4 (37:50):
Maybe They've already
done that.
Didn't they already do thatwith the Liv duels?
Speaker 3 (37:54):
In a tournament, not
in a Liv tournament.
Speaker 1 (37:58):
I'm talking about
like a live but I was sponsored
by live.
Speaker 3 (38:03):
Well, I could see him
playing by live but that was
like a creator thing it wasn'tan actual live event tournament
payout money tournament yeah, okay, I could see that it was
like guys right yeah, yeah, thelive played, but it wasn't a
live four-day tournament.
Speaker 4 (38:21):
No, they don't.
Three days, I bet you that'swhat's happening.
Speaker 3 (38:26):
Liv's like we'll pay
you all this money.
You can play in our tournament.
You film it all.
You post it on your YouTube.
You play in the tournamentbecause there's no cuts.
You're going to win moneyanyway.
I bet you that's what happens.
You play in the tournamentbecause there's no cuts.
You're going to win moneyanyway.
Yeah, I bet you that's whathappens.
Calling right now.
Call me.
What was her name?
Cleo, nostradamus.
(38:47):
No, cleo, miss Cleo.
Speaker 1 (38:49):
Call me Miss.
Speaker 3 (38:50):
Cleo, let's go, miss
Cleo, miss Cleo.
Thank you, darling.
All right, here's.
Speaker 2 (38:58):

Speaker 6 (39:04):
Smash that like.
Button.
Speaker 2 (39:06):
A little breaking
news yeah.
Speaker 3 (39:09):
Brandon said who
thinks Liv is going to take over
?
Did you see that?
None of us.
Speaker 4 (39:17):
I don't think Liv's
going to take over.
Speaker 3 (39:19):
No they don't have
the history.
Speaker 4 (39:21):
The ratings are trash
.
They're gonna try to money graband do little things that they
can.
Speaker 2 (39:25):
They'll probably
bring most of the youtube golf
guys over to their side yeah, they're, but everybody's making
news about because they theyhave a new ceo and they
resubmitted their OWGRapplication.
Sorry, you guys only play threedays.
Speaker 3 (39:46):
You don't have a cut
and that's Got to do that.
Who likes playing in a scramble, starting in a different hole
than the way the course wasdesigned and intended to be
played by an architect?
Nobody.
No, I like playing it 1 through18 personally.
Just well, I mean they're 10through, 10 through 9 a lot on
on the pga tour 1 through 18,unless the course.
Speaker 2 (40:08):
Yeah, they do do they
do split teas every week in pga
tour, so it's not that big, notnot in like the final round no,
no, this is the first two days.
Yeah, yeah, that's well.
Sometimes with weather, they'llhave guys go off the back too,
so I mean it happens, yeah, yeah.
Speaker 3 (40:24):
Well, I don't like
starting on hole five, six, I
don't like starting on partthrees in vegas golf network
tournaments, oh, you see whereyou're starting that.
Speaker 6 (40:32):
Yeah, you don't like
starting on part threes no why?
Speaker 2 (40:39):
I don't understand
that.
Why?
Speaker 4 (40:40):
just start off with a
one and fucking start your day
that's true get that one out ofthe way.
Speaker 2 (40:46):
It's a mid-on.
What?
Speaker 3 (40:48):
do you talk about?
I played with you at nationaland you're like I don't know why
.
I did it to myself.
I'm doing it.
So people know that I start onpart threes too.
That didn't bother me, I don'tcare.
I want to start on part threestoo, because everybody, that
didn't bother me, I don't care.
I want to start on one always.
Speaker 2 (41:03):
Get to the diamonds,
play golf and record your scores
.
Speaker 4 (41:08):
Coming up to the
hearts.
Speaker 3 (41:10):
BGC's in the house.
Speaker 4 (41:13):
Or the diamonds, Joe.
Yeah, sorry.
Speaker 3 (41:18):
Look at this guy.
You been bro where you beencreeping in the shadows, I think
.
I think whatnot might have gotto him coming in hot from the
hospital.
Uh-oh, I thought you wereliving on the street because you
spent too much money on whatnot.
Speaker 2 (41:41):
Got thrown out.
Speaker 3 (41:42):
Hopefully you're
doing well, Mike.
Hopefully you're doing well,brother.
Speaker 2 (41:46):
I saw him in modern
some shows every now and then he
jumped in both feet like Dandid, yeah.
Speaker 3 (41:55):
That's a lot of fun,
man, I love it.
Speaker 2 (41:57):
It is fun, all right,
uh, last time.
Second last topic uh, it is, itis major week.
Uh, royal point port rush is uhlooking absolutely fantastic
man, that is a good looking, golf course.
Jeremy said we need to get toireland and chatter, and I liked
I responded, I said, man, I Ithink it will look even better
without the grandstands.
Jeremy said we need to get toIreland and chat.
(42:18):
Oh yeah, and I I responded.
I said, man, I, I think it willlook even better without the
grandstands.
Just that land and oh, it looksjust spectacular.
That that is something that mayget me to drink alcohol again.
If we go to Ireland and we getsome Guinness in in the pub, I
may partake in some alcoholagain, just for the trip, just
(42:42):
don't yeah, having a guinness inireland okay well I could make
you a mud shake if you want to,well, ice cream, I don't know,
sorry, I'm not trying to offendanybody who loves Guinness or
anything like that, but thatshit's nasty.
Speaker 3 (43:03):
I don't mind Guinness
, it's just got to be cold.
You know what I mean.
It's got to be really cold.
Speaker 4 (43:10):
It's got to be left
in the tap.
Speaker 3 (43:14):
I love chewing my
beer.
Speaker 1 (43:15):
Give me a Jameson or
something no-transcript.
Speaker 4 (43:16):
Give me a whiskey,
Irish whiskey.
Speaker 2 (43:20):
So final major of the
year.
Speaker 3 (43:24):
Yeah, I can't believe
it's over.
I can't believe major season isabout to be over it comes by
and goes so fast man.
So fast.
We wait for it forever and it'sgone.
Yeah, it did.
Speaker 4 (43:34):
April, may, june,
july done.
Speaker 2 (43:38):
Thankfully we have
the Ry rider cup this year, to
extend it a little bit so, uh,you know where it's at right um
some goat track in new york didyou guys see scotty scheffler's
comments today about him?
Speaker 3 (43:50):
like it's not, like
golf isn't fulfilling.
Speaker 2 (43:53):
Yeah, I did I heard
him talking about how he grew up
, uh, wanting to win on the pgatour, the byron nelson.
He wins it.
It's his home state, you know,it's his hometown event and he
wins it.
It's like the most excited he'sever been in golf.
And then, like a half hourlater, they're like okay, what
are we having for dinner tonight?
(44:14):
And he said it's just like it'sover so fast that you know
you're okay, we got to go on thenext week because we got
another tournament next week, um, so I heard him talking about
that yeah that's
Speaker 6 (44:25):
basically what it was
it sounds like a problem for
someone that wins a lot, thoughyeah, I.
Speaker 2 (44:31):
I think his bank
account and his agent are pretty
happy with his play and arepretty fulfilled.
Speaker 6 (44:37):
He's just so used to
it so you think he's?
Speaker 3 (44:42):
numb.
Speaker 6 (44:43):
You think he's numb,
I think he's numb because he's
he's, he's dominated for acouple of years and it's like
what else is he going to do?
I mean, he's won the masterstwice.
He needs to win the othermajors, of course.
Speaker 2 (44:56):
Yeah, he's going to
perform well in this and maybe
he's just trying to downplaybecause he hasn't played the
greatest overseas.
Speaker 3 (45:02):
Maybe I mean it could
be a mental thing, maybe I mean
who?
That's the thing.
Man never judge people likewhere they're at in their life.
You know, like we don't know.
Yeah, you know, we have no ideawhere he's at someone like maybe
he cares so much about winningthis major and he's just saying
that Maybe he's got like abetter help betterhelpcom
(45:22):
sponsor, you can sponsor usright here.
Maybe he's been talking to atherapist and they're like, hey,
you just got to stop caring somuch and just let the soul
breathe.
You know, soul golf it.
Speaker 2 (45:33):
Who knows God he
needs a whatnot intro.
Wouldn't have any issues withspending the needs of new outlet
.
Speaker 3 (45:39):
Yeah right, I'm going
to send him the link.
Who do you?
Speaker 6 (45:44):
think you could sell
a green jacket on Whatnot for.
Speaker 2 (45:48):
Five seconds on that,
let's go.
Speaker 3 (45:52):
Yeah, well, those
stay at the club.
Those stay at the club.
Yeah, true, you have to havepermission to take that out.
Speaker 2 (45:59):
So who do you think
gets it done overseas this
weekend?
Speaker 3 (46:05):
Personally, I'm
rooting for Tommy Fleetwood.
He's been playing pretty good.
He probably won't win, but Ilike to think that he will.
He probably won't win, but Ilike to think that he will.
I also joined Tradition Golf.
Follow Tradition Golf in theirpool.
Have you jumped in Matt's pool, dan?
(46:26):
Are you in Matt's pool?
Probably should text him.
I'm in Matt's open pool.
Speaker 4 (46:32):
I'm also in Bimby's
pool.
He always sends me an invite, but I never get in anybody's
pool.
I don't do that shit.
He didn't wear me his pool.
He always sends me an invite, but I never get in anybody's
pool.
I don't do that shit.
He didn't wear me his pool.
I get in the whatnot pool.
Speaker 3 (46:46):
He gets in those
buyer's givies Two feet.
Speaker 2 (46:48):
Dan who you got.
Speaker 4 (47:03):
Give me Rory,
hometown boy.
Speaker 3 (47:04):
Rory at home.
I just don't see it.
Speaker 2 (47:07):
Did he shot a 62
there as an amateur?
Speaker 3 (47:10):
That doesn't matter,
it's his home course he just got
done.
Speaker 4 (47:13):
Third place last week
, back in form, he's stressed
out, I think he's going to wantto win this at home.
Speaker 3 (47:21):
He wants to win it.
That's the problem.
He wants to win it very badly.
Speaker 4 (47:24):
That's the problem.
He wanted to win the Masterstoo, and he won that.
Yeah, that could be the reason, yeah, that might be the reason.
It might be easier now.
Speaker 3 (47:35):
Yeah, you might be
right, Maybe.
Speaker 2 (47:40):
Sleep in his own bed,
eat his own food.
He said in his press conferencethat the hollywood banger,
bangers and mash.
Speaker 4 (47:45):
He hasn't played that
course in a long time, people,
I like this comment because Iactually agree with it very much
, so I do too, rory will eitherwin or miss the cut.
Horribly 1,000% yes.
Speaker 3 (47:58):
Yes, and this is how
I feel Rory's going to be too
confident.
Speaker 4 (48:06):
I can see that We'll
see, though he's going to be the
man to beat.
Speaker 3 (48:09):
I mean him and Scotty
you know, the man to beat is
Tommy.
Speaker 2 (48:13):
Jeremy, jeremy, who
are you?
Speaker 6 (48:15):
taking Justin.
Speaker 2 (48:16):
Rose, oh, good pick.
Speaker 3 (48:18):
I like Justin Rose
too a lot, I do.
I really like Justin Rose a lot.
Speaker 6 (48:22):
I think Hovland,
though, could win too.
I think he could do it.
Speaker 3 (48:26):
I think there's also
potential for Shane Lowry to go
back-to-back at Port Rush aswell.
Speaker 2 (48:33):
Yeah, yeah, I got Jon
Rahm.
Speaker 3 (48:37):
And Rory would hate
him so much, even though they're
best friends, yeah, rambo, rambo, bring it home.
Speaker 6 (48:44):
Yeah, Rambo could do
it.
Speaker 3 (48:48):
A lot of right to
left putts for John Rahm.
Speaker 2 (48:52):
Yeah, there's some
undulation in those greens.
Gosh for link style golf Wow.
Speaker 3 (48:58):
Rory's going to ask
for a rerun.
I don't know, oh.
Speaker 2 (49:09):
Yeah, can we run that
front nine again please?
Speaker 3 (49:10):
Yeah, rerun Start
over.
Speaker 2 (49:17):
Before we get into
any uh vgn, uh chatter, uh.
Let me do this.
Maddie g's here with the uhweekend forecast what's up
everybody?
Speaker 5 (49:30):
it's fox five.
Meteorologist matt contarget, the chasing daylight podcast,
your forecast for the upcomingvgn tournament at chimera
calling for about 104 degreesunder partly cloudy skies.
We have a chance for anisolated thunderstorm, mainly
over the mountains as we headinto Saturday afternoon.
They may cause a few gustsaround 20 to 30 miles per hour
in Henderson, but very typicalJuly weather.
(49:50):
We'll have a few afternoonclouds.
Temperatures at 104.
Should be a decent roundheading into Saturday.
Good luck.
Should be a decent roundheading into Saturday.
Speaker 6 (49:56):
Good luck, Dude.
It was humid as hell.
Speaker 2 (50:05):
Oh my god, the swamp
was kicking.
The swamp was kicking.
We played Sunday morning earlyin the day.
Speaker 4 (50:14):
It was soaked it was
soaked.
Speaker 2 (50:17):
I hate when they do
that, dude, it was soaked.
I hate when they do that.
Oh, dude, it was dank we werebacking up drivers yeah, they
were just landing three feetbehind them.
Jeremy carried the bunkers onwhat is it?
15, the par 5.
He fucking hammered that shit.
Speaker 3 (50:37):
I've never seen
Jeremy have a better drive in my
life.
Speaker 2 (50:41):
As we were driving
away from him, I told him I go,
dude.
That ball flight took off andwhen I was expecting it to start
coming down, it just went upmore.
Speaker 4 (50:53):
I wish you guys would
have seen his drive on 10 at
TPC Vegas.
Speaker 6 (50:59):
Oh, it was like the
same.
Speaker 2 (51:01):
He carried Trey and
we get up there.
It was 285, and it maybe hadtwo feet of rollout.
Speaker 4 (51:10):
Yeah, he carried Trey
.
What do you think he flew thatJay at TPC Vegas 310?
Speaker 6 (51:16):
320 maybe.
Speaker 4 (51:20):
It was insane.
He was in front of me by 40yards and he flew trey.
It was nuts.
I.
I never seen jeremy hit a ball, and the thing is he hit it 197
feet in the air yeah, it's rightit's, that's it was so fucking
high, so high, it's no fuckingfarm.
How do you do that?
Speaker 2 (51:38):
dude, that thing was
fucking way down on it two
degrees, dan that's how dude myyeah seriously, my swing is like
completely different now oh we,we had to tinker with the
driver a little bit to get itdialed back in, but uh, I think
you're good to go.
Yeah, I think so.
I think you're good to go forthe weekend.
Speaker 3 (51:58):
Yeah, I think so, ped
testing coming soon.
Ped testing yep, yep.
Speaker 2 (52:02):
So Chimera is the
venue for this weekend's Vegas
Golf Network event.
We got 64 players that havetaken up the challenge to play
with us out there.
It's going to be a typical endof July, early august muggy,
(52:24):
monsoony day.
The courts punch their greens acouple be.
It'll be two weeks by the timethey get to us, so the greens
should be in better shape thanthey were.
They were super firm.
I mean, nothing was holding thegreens very, very firm, uh, and
sanded, but they should be good.
Uh, you know we got a week it's,it's hot this week so you know,
hopefully I get beat up toomuch.
(52:46):
But uh, I'm sure a nice littlecut and roll before saturday
will be nice and then we'll begood to go.
Very scorable golf course, very, very, very, very, you know.
So we'll see how it goes.
I had I had to drop the hammeron the slow play, so yeah, if
(53:06):
anybody's listening.
Dan, you didn't see the email, but dictatorship out here.
Yeah, I just I'm tired ofhearing it from the courses that
we probably won't be invitedback to TPC Vegas because of the
slow play.
So yeah, I have a clock now onmy phone.
Five hours goes off.
You haven't turned your card in.
(53:27):
Stroke penalty 520.
Two-stroke penalty 540 DQ.
Speaker 1 (53:34):
Whoa yeah no more of
this oh TPC.
Speaker 4 (53:43):
Vegas was bad, yeah,
and you don't get a dip cone on
your way out.
I will say this I did notice onour second playoff hole there
was a group still coming in whenwe and when we and uh yeah,
that's crazy.
Speaker 1 (53:52):
Yeah, my dad.
Speaker 4 (53:56):
Yeah, is it the same
guys?
Speaker 2 (53:59):
yeah, is it the same
guys?
Yeah, yes and no, it's a, it'sa combo, so okay, um, I'm gonna
have some chats with some peoplesaturday morning and, uh, you
know, it's just one.
It's making us look bad to thegolf courses, which I I don't
want our image because we've hada really good rapport with the
majority of the golf courses andI know TPC Vegas is a tough
(54:21):
golf course and I know we wereplaying back for the teas that
most people should have been.
Speaker 3 (54:24):
It's not really that
hard, honestly.
Speaker 2 (54:27):
Well, I mean it's,
it's there's a lot of it's
challenging off the tee and whenyou get guys that are, you know
, 16 to 22 handicaps, that'sthat can pose a problem.
So, yeah, but we have rules inplace to help with that and uh
you know if you're not usingthose rules yeah, I agree, mike
(54:50):
oh dude it's, it's bad yeah,chimera.
Speaker 6 (54:53):
There's no excuse,
though, that course is so simple
, no excuses, and so we'll.
Speaker 2 (54:59):
We'll see it'll be.
Speaker 3 (55:00):
The backup will be on
um, what is that?
Uh, nine eight, seven, sixpeople trying to drive green on
number seven.
Yeah, it'll be.
Speaker 2 (55:10):
Oh yeah, bottleneck
there well, the par three
bottlenecks and then the thatwhole bottleneck.
Speaker 6 (55:15):
So but I mean, I
think once we get through that
we'll be fine yeah, we need toget a sponsorship from rolex to
put some clocks on the keys.
Yeah, right, uh names.
Speaker 2 (55:26):
Well, hey, maybe
that'll be the the penalty.
Uh, one stroke penalty and yourname gets mentioned low player
on the on the vgn website.
Speaker 4 (55:35):
Yeah, yeah, and neon
lights on the VGN website yeah,
and me on a license.
Speaker 2 (55:40):
Hey, that'd be kind
of sick.
Speaker 4 (55:41):
That's how you do it.
Speaker 2 (55:46):
So I don't want to
turn guys on each other, but man
it's got to get better.
Speaker 5 (55:50):
It's got to get
better End of story.
Speaker 2 (55:53):
Do you think Grant
will use the new Tacoma driver
if they're paying him toAbsolutely, absolutely, if
they're paying him to Absolutely.
Speaker 3 (55:58):
Absolutely, if
they're paying him.
I will say we did play withRocky from the Golf Fathers on
Sunday at Chimera and he showedus the new wedges, the new
Tacoma wedges, the Brian Rosewedges, and they're really good
and he's hitting them very far, very far.
They're really good and he'shitting them very far, very far.
He hit a, he hit I think he was140 out and he hit a 54-degree
(56:26):
wedge and it was right next tothe pin insane rocky swings it
hard he does yeah, he does, hedoes he does swing it hard so uh
, but on our the vg and socials.
Speaker 2 (56:38):
If you guys anybody
watching this or listening to
this episode you want to followalong the vegas golf network
instagram, I will post a link tothe leader board so you can see
what we're doing.
Uh, and that dan.
Uh, this is what I was talkingwith fabs today and dan said um,
I just checked the odds andeven though Dan's not playing,
he's still a seven to twofavorite.
There's ten guys playing thediamonds flight that now have a
(57:08):
chance to get some pointsbecause, dan, you know it's got
call of duty, he's got to gottawork.
Speaker 4 (57:13):
Fuck that.
I'm taking the day off.
I'm playing.
Speaker 2 (57:20):
Fun stuff.
Alright, we haven't done thisin a couple weeks because we had
some guests on.
Let's do this.
Speaker 1 (57:28):
All in or fold.
I like it All in or fold.
I like all in or fold.
Speaker 2 (57:39):
All in or fold so
this is our segment where, if
you're new to the show or yourfirst time listener, coming from
whatnot, or however, you havefound us where we pick something
that we're all in on, you know,or something that we're we're
all in on, uh, you know, orsomething that we're we're
folding on.
So, uh, joe, you want to startit off?
Speaker 6 (57:59):
no, go ahead, okay
jeremy, sure I am folding on bad
behavior on the golf course, especially fights yes, they're
not into it at all stupid.
It's so lame seeing people rollcarts and do stupid shit.
It's so annoying man.
Speaker 2 (58:16):
Yeah, dude, just tame
down the drinking a little you
know, just tame it down a little, yeah, 100%.
It's like you enjoy the golfcourse.
Let's go have fun out there.
Let's not tame it down a little, that's all.
Speaker 6 (58:30):
So bad man.
Speaker 2 (58:35):
Social media is a
cancer.
For this it's so bad it's it'staking over like you wonder how
many of them are staged justbecause they know people are
yeah and you know the the hockeyplayer beating that guy up and
throwing him in the lake.
As much as I enjoyed watchingthat, I was like, fuck man, here
we go again.
I I love, I like him going Iwas not laughing.
It reminded me of the old batmandid all the memes people were
(59:07):
doing from those too.
Oh, they had somebody, somebodylike like track man data on the
, on the throw into the lake Ididn't see that one.
Speaker 6 (59:17):
Oh yeah, I did see a
flight.
Uh, what do you call it?
The outline?
Speaker 2 (59:23):
shot tracer shot
tracer.
Speaker 6 (59:25):
I shot the shot
tracer into the lake oh yeah,
that's so bad, man hate yeah.
Speaker 2 (59:33):
That's a good one.
Speaker 4 (59:34):
All right, dan, what
do you got?
I'm trying to think Pass, pass,go man Pass.
Yeah, I can't think of oneright now.
Speaker 3 (59:41):
Yeah, I'm having
trouble too.
I'm having trouble too.
Speaker 1 (59:44):
Go for it All in or
fold.
Speaker 2 (59:50):
I'm going all in, uh,
I, I'm going, uh, all in all in
on mid-sized grips.
Yeah, yes, going all in onmid-sized grips.
Uh, had a wonderful listen.
Uh, fans of ours, if you're agolf nerd and you love geeking
out on golf nerdism and clubdata and stuff like that, I
(01:00:13):
encourage you to go listen tothe Sweet Spot with John Sherman
and Adam Young.
Adam Young lives in Vegas andthey've been doing this podcast
for quite a while and they hadLiam McLeod I hope I'm saying
that right on the show this lastweek talking about grip
pressure and grip size and he'sdone a study on it.
It was absolutely fascinating,uh, so I'll put in the show
(01:00:37):
notes a link to that episode.
So, if you even care whatsoever, check it out.
But I've been my miss over thelast five months has been the
left.
I've been hitting the ball tothe left pretty consistently and
, uh, digging in on some databecause I was testing out the
new X-Forge clubs on TrackManand then so I had some good stat
(01:01:03):
comparison between mine and, yeah, hitting it left a lot.
So I went in the shop the otherday and pulled out a mid-sized
club that I had put it on the7-iron, went out.
There got some more data andit's considerably different.
Not nearly as left, much moreon target line.
(01:01:27):
Today I headed down to the LasVegas Calls Superstore which, if
anybody's following ChasingDaylight Podcast on Instagram.
Speaker 3 (01:01:35):
Did anybody get?
Speaker 2 (01:01:36):
it.
I don't know, no one's taggedme yet, but I didn't do the best
at saying hey, tag us.
So, Katie's there and Juju'sthere so they can tell me if
someone grabbed it.
I left a sticker and a ballmarker there while I was there
and picked up some of the newSuperstroke Lampkin, new Reveal,
revel or whatever they'recalled, grips.
Speaker 6 (01:01:54):
They're nice.
The new grips are awesome.
Speaker 2 (01:01:56):
They are very nice.
I wasn't a fan of the materialthat Superstroke has used in
their grip, but since theyacquired Lampkin, I was looking
forward to their first release.
They paid homage to Lampkin andthey have their name on the
butt end of the club.
It's a really nice grip.
I got one on my gap wedge thatI was messing with in the
(01:02:20):
backyard Feels fantastic.
That will all be in play thisweekend.
Speaker 3 (01:02:29):
Joe, you got anything
?
Yeah, I do, I'm all in, or?
Speaker 1 (01:02:35):
fold.
Speaker 3 (01:02:42):
Go ahead.
Did you run it already?
Speaker 1 (01:02:43):
Run what?
Speaker 3 (01:02:46):
Did you run it
already, right when I'm about to
?
Speaker 1 (01:02:49):
All in or fold.
Speaker 3 (01:02:53):
Yo yo, yo, yo, yo, yo
yo.
No, hey guys, I'm going, uh,I'm gonna go and this might be
uh personal, but I'm gonna go inall in on hitting greens.
We're gonna do some shit.
Speaker 2 (01:03:07):
That's personal yeah,
you're over two now on this.
Speaker 3 (01:03:12):
I know, I know and I
don't care, because it's what
I'm feeling and that's where I'mgoing all in on.
I'm going all in on hittinggreens Dan.
Speaker 2 (01:03:25):
I'm sorry, I'm just
fucking with you, no we're all
in on hitting greens man.
Speaker 3 (01:03:29):
I agree, joe.
Speaker 2 (01:03:29):
I love watching the
shows.
Speaker 3 (01:03:31):
I know, though, I
know, but I've never gone all in
.
Okay, I've never gone all in.
I did something every couplemonths, right, maybe two times a
year, but you know, now I'mordering shit all the time.
I'm all in, just build it.
You know what I mean.
Good job, shout out.
(01:03:52):
Shout out, brandon dumper, I'mfollowing on, joe, there you go
no, that's the thing man youknow you always question
yourself.
You know what I mean likeespecially when you're you're
stepping outside your boundariesand trying to do something
different and uh yeah like, butI don't think you're stepping
out of your boundaries you, I am, I you, I've always been you
(01:04:15):
love rapping you love yeah, Iknow, I know you love talking
golf.
This is like in your fuckingwheelhouse, yeah, but like to
actually order things for yourbrand or your name is different.
Right, I am ordering thingsconstantly for hitting greens.
Now, Now a year ago, I'd ordersomething every four or five
(01:04:35):
months, you know, and I'd order50 of something and like be like
hey guys, I'd show up to theVegas golf network events and be
like hey you guys want to buysomething you know.
And now it's like you knowthere's a lot of supporters out
there, uh, in new ways that Inever thought were possible.
And now I'm ordering somethinghitting greens every week.
(01:04:57):
You know, I never that's thething, like when I sell some
stuff on whatnot, I get moneywhen it's delivered.
And then I'm like I'm orderingsomething right now to bring
something new hitting greens topeople and I never would have
done that before.
And that's what I'm all in onis like you know, I'm shit was
(01:05:19):
delivered the other night.
I was like what can we order?
Are we ordering ball markers?
Are we ordering banners?
Are we ordering shirts?
Are we wearing hats?
Speaker 1 (01:05:27):
so now it's a
constant yeah, and that's the
thing.
Speaker 3 (01:05:32):
Now.
It's like what can I bringthat's hitting greens, to the
people that are supporting me,and like, try and find something
new that people aren't doingand make it.
You know, because I've alwaysbeen like, I've always wanted to
make stuff, since I was askateboarder a long time ago,
and that that's what I'm all inon right now.
(01:05:52):
It's like what else can we do?
What else can I do?
Do we do?
Can we do polos?
Can we do this?
Can we do shirts or what, what?
What's the next thing?
And that's what I'm all in on.
I'm not saying I'm all.
I've always been all in onhitting greens, but it's like
now I'm saying I'm not saying.
I've always been all in onhitting greens and for those
(01:06:15):
that have been around for a longtime and have always supported,
I appreciate that.
But now we found a new place tobring it to the people and
that's what I'm all in on.
I'm trying to because you know,it's ever evolving.
It's like every week you got tofind something, so I got to
find new shit, and I'm all in onthat.
Speaker 2 (01:06:36):
I was going through,
I was telling Dan that I purged.
I did a closet purge, which, for those of you watching Joe
this Friday on whatnot I'mbringing a ton of polos over to
try and get rid of so, andthey're good.
Polos too, it's not shit, it'sgood stuff.
But to try and get rid of soand they're good polos too, it's
(01:06:56):
not shit, it's good stuff.
Uh, but I was going through allmy t-shirts too, and because I
have probably 200 plus t-shirtsand they're all golf related
t-shirts, and so I'm like okay, enough is enough.
I need to chill with all thet-shirts.
If I'm not gonna wear it, let'sjust go through it.
And I had like vacuum bags ofshit that when I was skinny,
that I had that.
I'm like okay I'm just gonnaget rid of this shit.
And I was going through it Ifound like three, four different
(01:07:17):
hidden green shirts and I'mlike, okay, I gotta hold on.
Yeah, that's not going, I gottakeep that one.
Speaker 3 (01:07:23):
That one's not going
anywhere so there's a lot of old
stuff.
I did that the people willnever see, you know I got the
wall, you know, yeah that wasnever even made.
That was never made.
Good stuff, it's cool, man.
I really appreciate it.
I really appreciate it becauseI've always been a creative and
(01:07:44):
to just get my ideas out thereis awesome.
You know what I mean.
Speaker 2 (01:07:48):
Dan.
Speaker 1 (01:07:48):
All in or fold.
Speaker 4 (01:07:54):
My brain's a little
broken today.
I'm just going to say I'm goingto go all in on this match.
There we go, yeah, good segueDan there we go.
Yeah, because you know that'shappening the 21st my buddy.
Matt and Brendan from Off TourTruck.
It's more than just a matchbetween those guys.
(01:08:16):
The proceeds are going to theflood victims.
They've raised I think there's3K on the winner's side right
now.
That's going to get donated.
I think they've raised overthousands, a couple thousand
dollars to the flood victims.
So yeah, unfortunately I'm notgoing gonna be able to make that
, but uh, I'm all in behind thecause.
I'm all in for everything thatthose guys can raise to help out
(01:08:40):
those families.
Um, what turned out to be adrunken night of shit talking is
going to be actually a prettycool, pretty cool thing, and I
am I am all in on that.
I think this is a great ideaand I think that this could be
the start of something like this, Especially if whatnot takes
off.
(01:09:00):
You've got a lot of big sellersin the space.
You might be able to do a fewmatches.
You could have Hidden Greensversus Thumper the match.
Speaker 2 (01:09:08):
Did you?
Speaker 3 (01:09:08):
just call Thumper a
homo.
You're terrible, that was atypo, typo, typo.
Speaker 2 (01:09:18):
And then you see how
he did it under the CDP thing
too, not his own.
Speaker 3 (01:09:21):
That's all I got.
That's all I got.
Speaker 4 (01:09:25):
This could be the
start of a good way to raise
funds for anything andeverything.
That golf community, thatWhatnot has.
It really is incredible.
I've, you know, I've spent alot of time in the rooms, I'm
sure, as you guys know, and nottoo long ago I was watching GH
crew and they raised.
(01:09:46):
They kept rerunning wedges andrerunning.
I think they did it like 18times or something like that.
Joe and he raised a couplethousand dollars for those flood
families, the flood victims.
I've seen Uncle Church raisethousands of dollars for St
Jude's kids and St Jude'shospitals, like you don't see
that much.
(01:10:15):
And the fact that when you seeall these buyers and sellers all
of a sudden just come out ofthe woodworks and be like, hey,
we run this, here's 100 bucks.
Hey, here's this, let me buythis, let me do this, let me,
let me support this way, likeI've never seen that in the golf
space.
So, yeah, I'm all, I'm all inwith this, with this.
Whatnot golf?
Uh, match and uh, hopefullyit's um, you know, it's the
start of things that uh startedbigger things to come.
Speaker 3 (01:10:35):
Yeah, yeah, I wish I
was going to be able to get down
there, but the flights justsuck.
But I took the day off, so I'llbe watching, that's for sure.
Speaker 4 (01:10:42):
Yeah, I'm going to
tune in, for sure too.
Speaker 2 (01:10:44):
Oh, absolutely, it's
going to be fun to watch.
That's on the big screen.
It's going to be a blast.
Speaker 3 (01:10:58):
Yeah, on the big
screen, it's gonna.
It's gonna be a blast.
Speaker 2 (01:10:59):
Yeah, nothing better
than helping out some people
when you can, yeah, yeah, yeah, you have to, man, we're on this
together, man yeah, I, you know, roars did um when the
hurricanes hit texas, he did ashirt, um, that was uh, I I
still have it.
It was just a the texas flagand in a golf logo and I mean he
he sold those and and donatedlike three grand to the red
(01:11:21):
cross, um, so you know the, thegolf people show up, they show
up absolutely golf's different,man.
Golf's different, it's awesometo see the the, the local
fundraisers that they have areamazing.
I I think there's some peoplethat kind of try to take
advantage of it and and kind ofyou know aren't in it for the
(01:11:43):
the right reasons.
But you find those people thatare man.
It's awesome their passions anddesires good or so good like.
Look at joe mayo, I mean he's abig like animal rights, a big
supporter for, for you know, uh,animal abuse, and anytime he
somebody reaches out to him forwith lessons or anything he's
(01:12:05):
like, just make a donation tothis charity and we're good, you
know.
So he raises a shit ton ofmoney for that.
Speaker 3 (01:12:12):
So the golf people
show up man, it's amazing yeah,
that's, that's golf too, though,like itself, like it's, like
you know, golf is the best itreally is it is got anything
else we gotta get off our chest.

hazardous shafts and he's doingflash sales and there was like
20 of them and I was like, oh,for six because it all right, go
(01:12:52):
swipe and not available, youknow it's.
It's like crazy how fast someof that shit sells for.
Speaker 6 (01:13:01):

like 900 people in your show,
yeah, he had.
Speaker 3 (01:13:04):
No, he had a hundred
fifteen hundred people in his
show last night at the peak.
