Episode 346

A bruiser turned into a pillow, and Europe didn’t waste it. We open with the shock of Bethpage Black playing soft—rough that let balls sit up, greens that spun back, and a setup that felt more like a putting contest than a pressure cooker. From there, we tackle the uncomfortable stuff: how phones, alcohol, and corporate suites warped the fan energy, why chants felt manufactured, and how a legacy event drifts when the experience stops rewarding real support.

The meat of the show is team golf. We dig into Europe’s quiet edge—more reps on the course, smarter pairings, a captain who set a steady tone—and contrast it with the U.S. tendency to rely on talent and hope singles bail them out. You’ll hear where pairings broke (elite ball-striker plus cold putter is a losing recipe), how complementary skills win foursomes and four-ball, and why Luke Donald’s plan looked seamless while Keegan Bradley’s debut showed gaps. We also unpack the envelope rule moment, on-course dust-ups, and the broadcast choices that missed live drama.

Then we go under the hood. Our gear segment lays out a real fitting journey: swapping from low-launch, low-spin shafts to profiles with lower kick points and higher launch that unlocked height, spin, and consistency—proof that shaft profile beats flex and weight. We cover why ball testing matters, how to pick a model that fits your launch window, and the fastest ways to gain carry and hold greens without overhauling your swing.

If you care about the Ryder Cup’s soul, smarter setups, better fan policies, and pairings built on data and chemistry, this one’s for you. Hit play, share your winners and fixes, and tell us: what would you change first to bring the Cup back? Subscribe, leave a review, and send this to the golf friend who loves a good Sunday sweat.

I am a little distracted rightnow.
Please forgive me.
The aces are in a game rightnow.
My wife and daughter are at thegame.
They're up for there's twominutes left to go.
This is to go on to the final.
So I apologize if I'm a littledistracted.

(00:42):
I've had a shitty run of golf orof uh of sports uh in my life
over the past uh 48 hours.
Uh the Ryder Cup is one thingthat went to shit.
Uh the Raiders uh on a last lastsecond block field goal lost.
Uh the Knights have been playinghorrible in the preseason, but

(01:03):
it's preseason, so I don'treally care about that.
Yankees uh blew a game after agreat pitching performance to
the Red Sox, no less.
Uh, so I kind of need this.
I kind of need this.
Kind of need this.
So uh everybody, thank you somuch for tuning into this week's
show.
We've got a lot to unpack as faras the Ryder Cup goes.

(01:24):
Uh, I know everybody that isprobably tuning into this is
probably tired of hearing it,but we haven't had a chance to
talk about it much.
We collectively have texted alittle bit back and forth about
it, but we really haven't duginto what the fuck happened.
Uh, so we're gonna be doing alittle bit of that.
Uh, we've got a VGN event uhSunday night uh that's coming up

(01:46):
at Angel Park.
We can chit-chat about that.
Uh we got another VGN eventafter that, and uh some big news
regarding changes to my golfbag.
Some of you may have seen if youfollow me on Instagram.
Uh so we'll we'll chat aboutthat here in a little while.
Uh, first off, though, I do wantto say thank you so much, not

(02:07):
only to all of you to theinternet right now, but to you
guys as well for being to thewhat to the N internet?
The the the internet, the thepeople out there following right
now.

SPEAKER_04 (02:17):
You sound like you said I heard the internet
myself.
An internet?

SPEAKER_00 (02:20):
Yeah, it may have been the n internet.
It probably was, it probably wasthe n internet.
So uh thank you.

SPEAKER_03 (02:27):
You n internet more than me.
If I'm drunk, like you ininternet more than I would n
internet if I had a few drinks.

SPEAKER_00 (02:34):
Yeah, I I don't get sloppy.

SPEAKER_02 (02:37):
You just sloppy regular, you know.

SPEAKER_00 (02:39):
Yeah, sloppy regular, good old age.

SPEAKER_02 (02:41):
Super sloppy, yeah.

SPEAKER_00 (02:42):
Sober sloppy.
Um I want to thank everybody fortuning in uh and watching us.
Uh, I have made some changes tothe YouTube channel.
I cleaned up a lot of the mess,a lot of the excess of
nonsensical videos that are justpodcast posts.
Uh, unfortunately, YouTube doesnot have a way to separately
categorize those, so they do notshow up in the video feed.

(03:05):
So all of our videos that wehave done kind of got pushed to
the bottom.
But now on the videos tab, it'sjust long form videos.
So that is there.
You want the podcast, go toiTunes, go to Spotify, go all to
that.
Or we have all the live episodessince we started doing this.
So the the the YouTube channellooks a lot cleaner.
So thank you for that.

(03:25):
We're about to hit 600 on uhsubscribers, so thank you for
that.
Um, not a huge milestone, butwe're getting there.
Baby steps, and uh, I appreciateeverybody that has liked and
commented and shared our stuff.
Thank you.
Also, want to thank Garson Garsand Golf.
Gars and Golf.
Thank you, Garz and Golf.
They are now a sponsor of theshow.

(03:46):
We really appreciate them.
Uh, they are fantastic, everybody's rocking them.
Uh, we're getting a lot of greatfeedback from people who have
purchased them using ourdiscount code.
So, thank you for that.
Let's keep that rolling.
And uh, we got some some newGarson stuff in the works.
So let's go ahead and we'll seehow that goes coming up.

(04:06):
So stay tuned for that.
Other than that, how was yourweekend, fellas?

SPEAKER_04 (04:14):
Good, yeah.

SPEAKER_05 (04:15):
Yeah, it's I didn't really do much.

SPEAKER_04 (04:18):
I had Saturday, Sunday off.
I didn't play any golf, I playedtoday.
Um, but um, yeah, I just chilledthis weekend and uh it was nice.

SPEAKER_00 (04:27):
This right here, if you're watching, it costs zero
to hit the thumbs up button.
Need a hundred likes on this, please.

SPEAKER_04 (04:33):
Yeah, and your payment better not fail on that.

SPEAKER_00 (04:36):
Yeah, yeah.

SPEAKER_03 (04:37):
Your your payment cannot fail on a thumbs up.

SPEAKER_00 (04:40):
If your payment fails on a thumbs up, you've got
issues we can't help you with.

SPEAKER_02 (04:44):
So you don't have a thumb at that point, you're
fucked.

SPEAKER_00 (04:48):
Yeah, yeah.
So uh I uh also real quick.
Now we do that a little bit.
Go ahead, anyways.
So uh the weekend sucked, yeah.
The weekend it was terrible.
The the thankfully, Sunday.
We got a little bit of life.

SPEAKER_03 (05:05):
So you're talking about the weekend sucked in in
golf.
Your weekend did your weekendlike fully suck?

SPEAKER_04 (05:12):
Oh, it sucked.
It sucked.
The sports weekend sucked.
The sports weekend sucked.

SPEAKER_03 (05:17):
Yeah, yeah.
Just clarifying, justclarifying.

SPEAKER_00 (05:20):
Sports weekend.
Yeah, I'm a I'm a closet PennState fan.
Uh, you know, I've been uh sincethe Rebels absolutely sucked my
whole entire life.
Uh, I had to find another teamto root for that I could like
get excited for.
And I love Joe Paterna.
Um, before he condoned uh youknow, engaging in sexual
activities with young men.

(05:41):
I I love uh sure football wasalso guys, it's a great time.

SPEAKER_03 (05:48):
If you're in the chat, send us your questions.

SPEAKER_01 (05:51):
Yeah.
Send please for the love of God.

SPEAKER_00 (05:57):
Yeah, so them losing, the rebels weren't
playing, the Ryder Cup was crap,uh, the aces lost, then you know
it's just it was just just overand over and over again, just
bad, bad stuff.

SPEAKER_01 (06:11):
Uh yeah, so uh and on top of that, you didn't play
any golf, did you?
You just worked.

SPEAKER_00 (06:20):
Yeah, well, yeah, we worked.
Revere was fun.
Gus got got to deal with uh somegrumpy old men, but hey, you
know that happens, especially upin Revere.

SPEAKER_02 (06:32):
Yeah, absolutely.

SPEAKER_00 (06:33):
But no, it was a good time.
Good, good, good times out thereon the golf course.
Uh, we'll get into my bag, happen a little bit.
But um, so this is this is kindof what I was thinking.
Uh, we all we all know with ouryou know, little group chat what
happened, uh, you know, in inour conversations about what we
thought happened.
But I kind of want to do this.
Uh, I got four differentcategories here that I kind of

(06:54):
want to go over.
And like I said at thebeginning, everybody has been
talking about this.
You're probably gonna hearsomething that you have heard
before, but you know, we'regonna try and speak from our
hearts on this as amateurgolfers that are huge fans of
the game and Americans.
Right?
So, uh the the categories I wantto talk about are uh Beth Page,

(07:17):
the golf course.

SPEAKER_02 (07:18):
Just gonna talk about I have experience with
that.

SPEAKER_00 (07:20):
Joe, if nobody is aware, has played Beth Page
Black.
Uh so you know if you have anyquestions, you can uh Greenley.
Greenlead's in the house.
Uh you can you can ask a way.
Joe can answer them.

SPEAKER_03 (07:35):
I can answer.
I definitely can.
Yes.

SPEAKER_00 (07:38):
Uh the second second category I have is the fans.
So be there was a lot of talkabout the fans.
So we can talk about that.
And then uh team USA, TeamEurope.
So those are the fourcategories.
So try not to blend those intoone another.

SPEAKER_03 (07:55):
Can we get down maybe before we really go deep
into it?
And it in the in the in thechat, the homies in the chat,
who watched the Ryder Cup allweekend?
Just let us know.
Did you or did you not care?
And then we're gonna talk aboutit anyway.
But I'm just curious who wasactually watching.

SPEAKER_01 (08:14):
So I didn't watch any chat zero percent.

SPEAKER_00 (08:21):
I know Boyd was up at 4 a.m.
on Friday and Saturday because Iwas up at 4 a.m.
and we were chatting.
So Jordi, let's go watch morethan I care to admit.
Thanks, Cliff.

SPEAKER_03 (08:34):
Hey, hey, Cliff is the man.
Shout out, Cliff, subscribing toI I don't even know what's
called.

SPEAKER_00 (08:40):
Uh CDP premium.
Come on, Joe.

SPEAKER_03 (08:42):
C D C D P Premium.
CDP Premium.
Shout out Cliff.
C D P after dark.

SPEAKER_00 (08:47):
Yeah, that's that's something else that uh the
listeners can can get in on.

SPEAKER_03 (08:52):
Absolutely.
For the measly low price of youcan support five bucks is all it
talks.

SPEAKER_00 (09:00):
Yeah, five bucks.
And that's expensive.

SPEAKER_03 (09:02):
That's expensive.

SPEAKER_00 (09:03):
Oh, so expensive.

SPEAKER_03 (09:04):
I'm kidding.
It's very cheap.

SPEAKER_00 (09:06):
Pro B1 single pro v1s are more than that.

SPEAKER_02 (09:09):
So yeah, it's true, especially on whatnot.

SPEAKER_00 (09:12):
All right, so it looks like we had a good handful
of people uh watching it.
So feel free to chime in.
Uh Joe's man in the chat, he canlet you know.
Um Jeremy, Dan, if you seesomething pop up there, you can
throw it up on the screen aswell.
So don't be um let's start withBeth Page and uh the golf course

(09:40):
because I feel the expectationswere incredibly high for Beth
Page to show some teeth, maybefavor the Americans a little
bit, especially with the homecrowd, and it fell flat on its
face.
No disrespect to the golfcourse, it's a beautiful

(10:02):
property, it's a beautiful, ofcourse, meticulous golf course,
but as a writer cup venue, theyblew it, and they the PGA of
America and Keegan with hissetup of this.
What do you guys think?

SPEAKER_01 (10:20):
So, what what made it?
What why do you say that?
It was again I didn't watch it,but I heard the rough wasn't
long enough, it was too soft.

SPEAKER_00 (10:27):
The rough was not penalizing whatsoever, so all
the bombers just bombed it.
Uh, the fescue wasn't evenpenalizing.
I mean, the first day, John Romjust an absolutely insane up and
down from the fescue.
Um, that they couldn't even seehis ball.
So, I mean, a little bit ofcredit goes well, a lot of

(10:48):
credit goes to him for actuallypulling that off.
Um, but it just it wasn'tpenalizing for poor shots.
And I think at that level ofplay, uh there needs to be
penalizing, there needs to be apenalty for hitting a pore shot.

SPEAKER_03 (11:09):
I I'll say um as exp as an experienced Beth Page
black golf player that I am, umgolf player.
So the sign the sign the sign isthere, right?
And it's it's a brutal golfcourse.
Okay.
I my entire round there, I hitprobably two fairways, three

(11:32):
fairways.
It's very difficult to hitfairways, and none of my balls
ever sat up on top of the rough.
And we saw so many balls sittingon top of the rough.

SPEAKER_00 (11:46):
It was shocking.

SPEAKER_03 (11:47):
Every time I was in the rough, I didn't I like I
needed like my playing partnersto help me find it because it
was so thick, right?
Yes, they got some rain, itdefinitely looked very soft.
I mean, they were spinning shitoff greens, you know, like
ridiculously.
I mean, I'm not a I'm not afucking player, but like I don't

(12:08):
even remember making a ball markout there, and if I did, it was
very minuscule, it wasn't big atall.
And I just think like Beth Pagehas that sign, and it's supposed
to be the terrifying big golfcourse, and they made it the
setup made it look too easy, andmaybe the pros are that good,

(12:29):
right?
But I mean, how many bogies didwe see?
Not not very many, not verymany.

SPEAKER_00 (12:37):
The when you hit it into the putting contest, yeah,
exactly.

SPEAKER_03 (12:41):
It was a putting contest, and if you I mean, look
back at what uh Brooks kept a2019 Beth Page PGA championship.
What did what was his sh scorefor eight rounds, like eight
under, seven under, somethinglike that?

SPEAKER_00 (12:56):
I don't know if that guy get on that.

SPEAKER_03 (12:58):
But like the the rough was non-existent, and uh
they're gonna get an influx ofpeople being like I mean I was
in I was in chats on Instagramand I was like, that is not Beth
Page rough, that's not how thegreens are, and people are like
liking my stuff, you know.
Yeah, it just did it didn't liveup to what Beth Page is known

(13:23):
for at all.
Aid under aid under, yeah.

SPEAKER_01 (13:27):
And he shot four over on the final day, yeah.

SPEAKER_03 (13:30):
Four, yeah.
Cliff Cliff, uh they almost setup because Cliff's play there,
fellow.
He's my he's my Beth Pagebrother.
They almost set the your bestfriend, he's your best friend,
yeah.

SPEAKER_00 (13:44):
Your best friend.
Let me tell you about my bestfriend.

SPEAKER_03 (13:51):
Yeah, I mean, like I love to see that course.
That course is amazing, 100%.
Like, probably I like it waymore than Tori personally.
Um that that course is amazing, but it just I I have a hard time
believing that balls sit up inthat rough.

(14:13):
When I played when I played it,I didn't see a single ball sit
up in the rough, and I saw somany this past weekend.

SPEAKER_00 (14:20):
What is it?
Is it the second hole that hasthe blind second shot to it to
it?
Um, the the par five that's gotthe blind second shot, and and
like Rory hit his ball, and hewas like you know, 15 yards past
who he was playing in the rough, and I'm like, oh sweet, great

(14:41):
advantage.
And nope, no disadvantagewhatsoever for being you know 15
yards up further in in therough.
Uh it was wild.

SPEAKER_03 (14:53):
So Greenley says they are that good.
Did we say that?
Greenly says they are that good.

SPEAKER_00 (14:59):
Of course they're that good.
Yeah, they're good.
They're the you know, top 30players in the world, but the
Joe now, Greenley, I don't knowif you're aware.

SPEAKER_03 (15:08):
Joe has paid, has played best pace, there, yeah.

SPEAKER_00 (15:12):
Yeah, and they his golf balls didn't sit up like
that.
The rough was not penalizing.

SPEAKER_03 (15:19):
It no, I don't think it was no, it wasn't penalizing
enough for sure.

SPEAKER_00 (15:23):
The rough wasn't penalizing, the fans were really
far away from uh being close tothe players.
Uh a couple people have beenposting how you know the the
compared to Hazel Teen, thefirst hole and the crowd, and
how it just was such a morehyped up uh first T shot.

(15:47):
This they kind of likemanufactured where to put the
people and and it just I don'tknow it it from the from the
beginning with that horribletrying to get a chant going, no,
no, no, stop, go back timing.
I'm like, good god, what stopit?

SPEAKER_03 (16:04):
You don't the main the main point that we all need
to take away from this is thatEurope cares way more about the
Ryder Cup than any USA player atall.
And they're yeah, I know that'sthat's what fucking happened.

SPEAKER_00 (16:21):
Dan, from what you watched, what did you think
about the course?

SPEAKER_04 (16:24):
It was way too soft, way too soft.
Um balls, no release in thefairways, balls spinning back
like crazy.
It just um it was set up for uha city tournament, you know, the
fucking New York City fuckingcity amateur.
That's what it was set up for.

SPEAKER_00 (16:42):
Yeah, a hundred percent.

SPEAKER_04 (16:44):
It's um high school tournament.
Yeah, I just feel like I justfeel like uh yeah, like it was
just way too soft.
They they needed to firm thatoff, they needed to uh firm that
up, they needed to shut thewater off like a day or two
prior to the U to the Ryder Cup.
Um it just uh that and honestly, just the US got outplayed just

(17:05):
straight up.
Like Europe is just they'rethey're making the putts when
they had to, and when the US didmake some putts, Europe just
capped it right on top of them.

SPEAKER_00 (17:14):
So they got outplayed Saturday and Sunday in
the yeah, for sure.

SPEAKER_04 (17:18):
Yeah, like in the first shot.
The team thing, Europe just ownsus, you know.
When the singles, when it's headup, like the US the US always
makes a comeback, they've doneit in the past, you know, but
it's just they dig them, theydig themselves a hole so deep so
early that it's they theyliterally had to go fucking what

(17:39):
10 and 2 in the last Sundays toeven win it, and they almost
did.
You know, it was close.
But um, you know, you can't digyourself a hole like that.

SPEAKER_00 (17:48):
So who who was it that uh said uh what was it,
Beth Page, TPC Beth Page?

SPEAKER_05 (17:56):
Yeah, oh yeah, yeah, yeah.

SPEAKER_00 (17:58):
That's what it was.
Yeah, it's it was a very it wasnot the Beth Page we thought we
were getting.
Um, I'm sure the Europeanplayers that had played that
golf course were like, oh shit.
Yeah, this is super, superdifferent than what I've played
it in the past.
So uh yeah, Rosie's run onSaturday was nuts.

(18:21):
He he went he went crazy.

SPEAKER_03 (18:23):
So I mean that's the story at the end of the day was
like the first two days,Europeans just dropping every
pot.
So I mean, I don't think theywere that far off, but the
Europeans were like justdropping everything Friday.

SPEAKER_00 (18:37):
Yeah, it it it wasn't like the USA was getting
dominated, they were playingreally well as well, but they
just weren't making the puttsthat the European team was, and
you know that that happens.
Yeah, uh no, we haven't got tothat yet.
I have I have a winners andlosers down here, so we'll we'll

(19:00):
get to that when we get to theplayer section.
All right, so the fans.
This was a huge, huge thing, andI think uh cameras and phones,
uh video recordings about what'sgoing on, you know.
What's that?

SPEAKER_03 (19:18):
Jordy said he thought more Mawakawa was gonna
carry it for us.
If you listen to last week'sshow, I mean we called all this.

SPEAKER_00 (19:27):
Yeah, yeah.
Oh, I I I firmly owe Cam Youngan apology.
Yeah.
He was a he balled out that dudewas fun to watch.
All right, it was good.
So the the fans.
Talk about the fans.
Uh I I wasn't shocked.
I'm gonna say this.
I was not shocked at some ofthis shit that was said and

(19:49):
heard.
Wasn't shocked because we see itat the waste management every
year.
And they have turned this, andby them, I say the PGA of
America, have turned this eventinto a spectacle, a shit show.
It is absolutely ridiculous.
They're charging ridiculousmoney to go, ridiculous money

(20:12):
for drinks, ridiculous money forsitting in you know, suites.
It's it's not a go root forAmerica on an iconic golf course
and cheer on your guys.
It's let me bring my buddies, let's get hammered and talk shit
to foreigners.
And that yeah, that is a problembecause it it is a hundred

(20:36):
percent taken away from theevent.
You know, they they need to dowhat Augusta does, no cell
phones, get rid of the fuckingdrunks, and turn this and make
this an event that people wantto go to because they want to
see the best players playing fortheir country and and fighting
for some pride, not a drunk shitshow.

(20:59):
And and that's what and it sucksbecause you know, however many
people are out there, not allnot every American in attendance
was yelling fucky Rory, youknow, but right you get the
microphone on one guy that doesit, oh my god, you know.

SPEAKER_03 (21:17):
Yeah, I mean hey, props to Rory and uh those guys,
like because they probably dealtwith a lot of shit, you know,
um, which we saw on Instagram,of course, but yeah, yeah, I
mean, um I think I think itneeds to switch to a not root
against the team you're playingagainst and to support the team

(21:41):
that you're rooting for.

SPEAKER_00 (21:42):
Yes.

SPEAKER_01 (21:44):
100%.

SPEAKER_00 (21:45):
When when you pay that kind of money and you go
there and your your thoughtprocess is I'm gonna go talk
shit to the other team insteadof hype up my team, you are the
problem.

SPEAKER_03 (22:00):
Yeah.
I mean, I'm not a huge Rory fan,but I'm not I mean I'm
definitely not going to BethPage Black for the Ryder Cup and
tell him telling him he's the Fword, you know.
I'm not I I'm you know, I don'tlike Rory, but I'm not doing
that.

SPEAKER_00 (22:16):
That may cheer when he misses a putt.

SPEAKER_03 (22:18):
Yeah, absolutely.
But yes, you know, yeah, I wasdoing that at home for sure.
But throwing shit at it, belike, no, let's go, yeah, let's
go Xander, let's go Scotty, youknow.

SPEAKER_00 (22:27):
Be a better human, be a better human.
Clip with the fucking dagger.
Oh uh Rory's wife put up more ofa fight the first two days in
the US team.
Yeah, that's yeah, uh, that istrue.
So uh until they make changes, and again, they PGA of America,
because this is on you guys 100%same thing that is on the PGA

(22:53):
tour for what's been happeningat waste management, and they're
trying to fix it, they're tryingbecause they realize it's
putting a dark image on thebrand.
Uh, PGA of America has to fixthis, you know, they have to,
and they got four years.

SPEAKER_03 (23:08):
Do you think it's a bigger problem with the COVID
golfers entering the game?

SPEAKER_00 (23:14):
No.
No, no, I don't.

SPEAKER_01 (23:18):
I think that the game has changed, it's no longer
the respectable game that itused to be.
It's it's changed, and I thinkthat I don't want to label COVID
golfers as the problem, but I'mgonna say the level of respect
and like the way that you act ona golf course, even if you're
not the person playing, isdefinitely gone out the window,

(23:38):
I in my opinion.
And we can blame the covetgolfers, but I don't think
they're the main problem.
I think it's just the humanhumans in general.

SPEAKER_00 (23:47):
It's an opportunity for people to go get shit faced
and and talk shit to Europeans, and and some people get excited
for that.
It has lost its identity as faras what it is.
You know, that there's a lot ofhistory in this golf tournament.
It goes back many, many years, and the PGA of America has done
a horrible job promoting andencouraging the right fans to

(24:12):
come do this.
Because I think the the peoplewho want to go and want to go
cheer on uh the Americans thathave kids that they want to
bring to the event have eitherbeen priced out by corporate
sponsors that you know insteadof being able to stand on the
ropes and watch the guys comedown the first fairway, now it's

(24:32):
a six thousand dollar seat tosit in a suite and pound free
liquor.
You know, um they they've lostthat identity.
They they are not encouragingpeople to come root for America.
They are encouraging people toyou know come out, get shit
faced, spend a lot of money, andhey, if we win, it's great.

(24:52):
Um, and it it's completely lostits identity.
Nobody, I don't think the COVIDgolfers understand what the fuck
the writer cup is, let alone arewilling to drop money to go to
New York and watch it.

SPEAKER_03 (25:04):
There is videos of people just yelling, like, who
do you want to win?
And they're like, Yeah, USA.
And then like, who who's yourfavorite player?
And they're like, ah, USA.
Yeah, to some people.
But I high, I what Greenley saidis when I was watching on
Sunday, this is exactly how Ifelt.
What Eric says right here, yep, when we were watching on Sunday,

(25:27):
this is exactly how I felt.

SPEAKER_00 (25:31):
Yep, 100%.
Eric says USA players only playfor themselves, that's why they
excel at singles.
So entitled, so arrogant, noteam mindset.

SPEAKER_03 (25:40):
They put the U in USA.

SPEAKER_00 (25:43):
Yep, 100%.
And that's that's a shame.
That's a shame.

SPEAKER_03 (25:50):
Also the first Ryder Cup team to ever get paid to
play in the Ryder Cup.

SPEAKER_00 (25:55):
Yeah, and and and I was talking with Cyrus about
this too.
They are donating the moneybecause of the backlash.
So they're they're donating themoney.

SPEAKER_03 (26:03):
They're donating well, originally it was 300,000
of the 500 grand.
Yeah, and the 200 was supposedto go, so they're gonna donate
the extra two.

SPEAKER_00 (26:12):
And that's yeah, they're donating the extra two.
Good for that.
But the that's where the PGA ofAmerica should have.

SPEAKER_02 (26:19):
We in the USA.

SPEAKER_00 (26:21):
No, we're not paying you.
It's an honor to be selected forthis, it's an honor to compete
in this.
You're competing with legendsand history, and this is
something you should want to do.

SPEAKER_03 (26:36):
Absolutely.

SPEAKER_00 (26:37):
You get enough, you get paid enough.

SPEAKER_03 (26:40):
With the history, yeah, they have money with the
history of everything.

SPEAKER_00 (26:43):
Like, this is Bryson needs to get paid for this with
everything he's doing.

SPEAKER_03 (26:48):
I understand to a certain extent, like they're go,
they're they're committing tothis, and it's not easy it's not
easy, it's a lot of work, ofcourse, right?
But like it can build theirbrand, and they shouldn't have
to pay for anything.
I agree with 100% becausethey're taking time out of their
life, and but like to get paidto play in the Ryder Cup, to be

(27:11):
the first team ever that gotpaid to play in the Ryder Cup
and you lose and you losesnobby, very snobby, very
snobby.

SPEAKER_00 (27:22):
Dan, what do you think?

SPEAKER_04 (27:25):
Um Yeah, I think you know, I can understand, I could
see why they'd want to get paid.

SPEAKER_03 (27:33):
Absolutely, I can see it too.

SPEAKER_04 (27:35):
But it's bigger than that.
This is a national pride type ofthing, you know, and you the
money shouldn't even be likeit's it like you said, Matt, it
is a fucking honor to be on theRyder Cup teams.
Yeah, and and maybe that's kindof lost on the US, you know,
they don't really look at itlike that, like like I mean,

(27:56):
maybe they just don't reallygive a fuck about the Ryder Cup.
Now, the weird thing to me isthe US does the same shit for
the President's Cup and they'redominant in that.
So what's the what's thedifference between how they
perform in the President's Cupcompared to the president?
Is it is it that?

(28:16):
Is it simply that?
Is it is it just the Europeanplayers are better than the rest
of the world?
Like I don't know.
I don't know.
I don't know exactly what thefix is.
I don't know.
I think the US definitelydoesn't know what the fix is.
Um it's uh sad to see in a waybecause uh you you get excited

(28:43):
for this and you want your team, you know, you want your country
to win.
And when they constantly go outand perform and and just do so
fucking poorly and get throttledright off the golf course every
two years, it's it's it'smaddening.
It sucks.
So I don't know what's gottachange, but whatever it is, I

(29:05):
would not short, but I stillthink Europe is just they've
just I don't know.
They're just they're juststraight up better.
I don't know what it is.
Matt's gonna Matt's gonna oh goahead, Jeremy.

SPEAKER_01 (29:17):
I was just gonna say, so going back to how
they're getting paid, so here'san interesting stat from Stat
Guy.
So the players on the Ryder Cupmade$188 million in prize money
in 2025.
Uh and Scotty was what a thirdof that probably doesn't matter.
But still,$188 million duringtheir P their PGA.

(29:39):
12 people.

SPEAKER_02 (29:39):
12 people.

SPEAKER_01 (29:40):
I don't they don't need to be paid for the Ryder
Cup.
The Ryder Cup should not be apaid event.
No, whether they're donating itor not.
That's is that just the USAteam?

SPEAKER_04 (29:49):
That's just the USA or everybody.

SPEAKER_01 (29:52):
Wow.

SPEAKER_00 (29:53):
Fuck so that's talk about hey 10.5 million or
million each?
I mean Scotty was 188 millionout of 12 players.

SPEAKER_01 (30:04):
Scotty made 51 million of that.
Right, right, yeah.

SPEAKER_00 (30:08):
Still.
That's insane.
All right, let's bring up thisbecause Matt's gonna catch some
heat for this, and I and I lovethis shit.
So uh Matt said, I was at the2016 Ryder Cup, is nothing like
what I saw on TV this week.
Such a disrespect to the game.
I love made me wish those newgolf fans like pickleball more,
go away.
Live brought this which uh, youknow, we had response uh live

(30:32):
brought this, lol, really.

SPEAKER_01 (30:35):
Um I don't think he's entirely wrong.
I think Liv's uh it bred adifferent it it it made there's
it's and there's enemies.
I mean it's not as bad as itused to be when it was fresh,
but it made one side versus theother, and I think that part is
still there.

SPEAKER_00 (30:53):
I guess it's just it's just but there's a lot of
live players on that Europeanteam, you know.
So hey, it's it goes both ways.
I don't think live.
I think it's a factor.
I don't yeah, it may be afactor, but I don't think the
PGA of America has is looking atlive and trying to you know run

(31:14):
this event to either spur themor try to be like them.
They they just lost their way onhow to make this an American
pride event.
The best golfers from Americaagainst the best golfers from
Europe, and now it's a fuckingRalph Loren shit fashion show on

(31:36):
a soft, iconic golf course, andit it's uh not good.
It's not good.

SPEAKER_03 (31:45):
I think I I mean I can see how live and PGA like
the divide has been crazy,right?
Like we've lived with this forthree years.
I I I don't see how live and PGAhave made this happen.
I can see the explosion of golfand the shout out, Cliff, the

(32:10):
finance bro mentality of golfcreated this.

SPEAKER_00 (32:16):
I think this is a great comment right here.
Yeah, PJ of America and RyderCup Europe, one of them takes it
seriously.
Bingo.

SPEAKER_03 (32:25):
Yeah, exactly.
The sorry, go ahead, Joe.
I I just think that you I Imean, like watching the the
pressers and everything beforeour US players do not care if
they win.
I just that's how I feel.
Like I want them to care, but Ijust don't think they take it as

(32:48):
seriously.

SPEAKER_00 (32:48):
And the last the last time I saw a uh USA player
actually show emotion and careis the Keegan Bradley talking
about how he never fuckingplayed.
Yeah, um, should have absolutelyplayed.
Should have fucking played.

SPEAKER_03 (33:06):
I just you know, I think it's just a different
mentality, like those Europeansthey love golf through and
through.
Like they're out there playingin 50 mile an hour wind, rain,
you know, they love this game, and like with the Ryder Cup, it
seems like a lot of theseplayers in the US don't really
love it as much as theEuropeans, which I get, right?

(33:31):
And I think that's why a lot ofthe USA, like, you know, like
Tron from no laying up, he rootsfor the Europeans every time.
And I've seen like a lot ofcomments saying, like, I root
for Europe every two years, because it's like they wear it
on their sleeves, they wear iton their sleep.
They do absolutely, absolutely,you know.

(33:54):
Tyler's got a good comment here.

SPEAKER_00 (33:55):
Honestly, I blame anything the most, it's golf
snobs.
The guys out there complainingabout everyone else on the
course instead of welcoming newgolfers, teaching them and
including them.
Yeah, yeah.
Golf snobs are golf snobs.
Yeah, they've been around, they've been around for a long
time.
Golf snobs are gonna happen.

SPEAKER_03 (34:13):
Yeah, also Tommy Fleetwood this week.
Absolute fucking legend, man.
Legend.

SPEAKER_00 (34:21):
I know he likes to hug a little bit too much for
me.

SPEAKER_03 (34:24):
He's got a lot of fucking wrinkles under his eyes,
man.
But he's a fucking legend.

SPEAKER_00 (34:29):
Oh, talk about live gets gets uh well, let's get
watched this year.
We got outplayed by the betterteam.
Period.
End of story.
Story rider cup, the fault iswhat happened on the other side
of the rope.
You could see it in the face ofour players, embarrassed.
Ah I can agree with that to apoint.

SPEAKER_03 (34:44):
Yeah, uh to a point.
Yeah, tradition golf.
Go follow tradition golf orwhatnot.

SPEAKER_00 (34:49):
Greenly says, can't blame Liv for the PGA trying to
be anopoly like the NC2A andsomeone calling them out for
making the money.
Go elsewhere.
The USA team is a product of themonopoly, it will change
soon-ish.
Yeah.
Yeah.

SPEAKER_01 (34:59):
I don't think I don't think live as an entity is
to blame at all.
But I think the issue is the wayit was such a division and us
against them and them againstus, it's caused animosity
against certain people, especially maybe Rory, because
he was the face of PGA defendingthem against Live.

(35:19):
Yeah, it's just it's not Livethat's to blame, it's the shit
show that came with the divisionand how it was handled.
That's the problem.
It's fucking factor.

SPEAKER_03 (35:28):
It's fucking Jay Monahan not taking damn calls.

SPEAKER_01 (35:31):
Yeah, it's Jay Monahan, it's Greg Norman, it's
all of them.
Everyone involved that turned itinto a fiasco, created the
animosity, and made it twosides.
That's that's the problem.
That's the factor, but that'sonly one of a million factors.
One of a million.
Sounds pretty familiar to me,honestly.

SPEAKER_00 (35:49):
Yeah, all right.
So uh team USA and Team Europe,we could probably loop this into
one, so we're not here till fourin the morning.
Um we we we called ColinMarikawa was a bad pick.
I thought so.
Yeah, uh, I also thought BenGriffin was a bad pick because I

(36:10):
think there's players out therethat have more competitive
spirit in them in an event likethis.
Uh JT.
What I loved about JT is Sunday.
He's out there, he's hyped, he'sgetting the crowd involved, he's
making putts, and he made theputt when it mattered the most.

(36:30):
And that's what you want guysout there doing hitting the
shots that matter the most, making the putts when they
matter the most.
Russell Hanley's not a killer, not a killer, and he had an
opportunity to make a putt whenit mattered most, and he failed.

SPEAKER_02 (36:50):
Same fucking putting Cam Young.

SPEAKER_00 (36:54):
I mean, how much pressure was on Cam Young, the
the local, the rookie, the firstmatch out, and just the guy
that's supposed to kill it themost because he's from there,
you know, and had a putt to tolike establish a legacy and
drained it.

(37:15):
That Cam Young that meanssomething that was impressive,
that meant something to him, andyou just didn't see that in
Russell Henley's putting, youdidn't see it in Morikow's
putting, you didn't see it in uhHarris English, you didn't in
Patrick Cantley.
I saw so many putts from PatrickCantley that were like, dude,

(37:36):
what what are you doing?
You know, uh same with Bryson.
Bryson did not put great.
Much props to Bryson forfighting back.
He could have mailed it in,walked off the course, and never
been heard from again, but hedidn't.
He stuck it out, he fought, andand he came back, and that that
was that was fun to watchbecause I mean being down five

(38:00):
after seven to Matt Fitzpatrickto Matt Fitzpatrick, yeah.

SPEAKER_04 (38:09):
And he and Matt I was like, what the fuck is going
on?
He is down five for that littlepencil neck.
But yeah, it was a good fight.
Um, it was good to see on Sundaybecause I had I had mailed it in
after you know, after I I wasjust like, they can switch this

(38:32):
is this is over.
Like this is done, done, done.
And that's cutting.
They made it a they made it afight.
So that was that was good towatch.
Sunday, Sunday was a good day.

SPEAKER_00 (38:40):
Sunday made it entertaining.
I mean, I I said to you guys, this is gonna be over by noon,
you know, and at two o'clock,we're still there's a chance,
there's a chance.
And I looked at the bottom ofthe I looked at the bottom of
the thing and I'm like, BenGriffin, uh uh Russell Henley.
Uh who else was out there on thebottom?

SPEAKER_02 (39:02):
Uhly and Mark How I was like, fuck Mark Cow is gonna
fuck this up.

SPEAKER_00 (39:08):
There's no fucking way.

SPEAKER_04 (39:10):
There's no way we're gonna win this with those soft
can't like laid an egg againstOberg, too, you know.
Yeah.
You know, Cantley's play, he'sbeen in there, he's played some
crucial, made some crucialputts, FedEx Cup winner, you
know, shit like that, and thenhe goes in there and isn't isn't
Oberg a uh uh Ryder Cup rookie.

SPEAKER_00 (39:31):
No, he played in the last one.

SPEAKER_04 (39:32):
Did he play in the last one?
No, I think he was even still.
I mean, we got waxed on thatSunday by Oberg.
All right, ace is one, I'mhappy.

SPEAKER_03 (39:41):
I think when it like, you know, obviously I want
US to win the Ryder Cup, right?
Of course I do.
But I think I think all we canhope for, literally at the end
of the day, as golf fans, golflovers, is an entertaining final
round.
And we got that, which I lovedespite the course setup,

(40:03):
despite the soft greens.
We just I'm always down with thedrama.
Like I might have a bet onsomebody at Sunday at the
Masters, and I want them to win,but I just want my heart pumping
and I want to see some good golfand some entertaining shit, and
just we got that, thankfully, because it looked like it was a

(40:24):
blowout.
Yeah, we got an entertainingfinal day at the Ryder Cup,
which I am very thankful for.

SPEAKER_00 (40:31):
All right, an envelope gate.

SPEAKER_01 (40:34):
Yeah, right.
Shit.

SPEAKER_00 (40:36):
The rule, Jeremy.
Did you hear about this?

SPEAKER_01 (40:38):
Oh, is this uh Victor Hoblin was injured, so he
has they each got a half apoint?
Yes, old rule, old rule.
So who sat out on the USA side?
Harris English.
English.
Okay, okay.

SPEAKER_00 (40:50):
Harris English was the name in the envelope
envelope if a player withdrew.
So the this rule goes back many, many years, and a lot of people,
because so many people on socialare just this rule's gotta
change, this is dumb, this isstupid, blah, blah, blah.
You know, it's happened twoother times, and it's been a

(41:10):
while since it happened.
Uh, but they say, you know, itgoes back to the honor of the
competition.
Instead of you know, somebody'shurt, they can't play, you know,
hey, it's a it's a handshake,and congrats, you got your half
point, we got our half point.
Um, so a lot of people are upsetwith it, and I can see
rightfully so, especially.

(41:31):
I mean, if it would have beentied 14-14, and you know, they
just retained it because theywere got the 14 as a you know
champion, they didn't win it,and then this envelope thing,
whoo man, it could have been ashit storm.

SPEAKER_03 (41:48):
Well, so I mean it was so like it I think that's
what really sucks about the NewYork fans, right?
Is like it I I do appreciate theenvelope situation, but I know
it's not 100% accurate like howit should be, but it goes back
to the concession in 1969.

(42:10):
You know, Jack Nicholas concededthe putt to Tony Jacqueline, you
know, like there's there's ahistory there, and I think the
Europeans really appreciate thehistory of the Ryder Cup, and US
does not really have the samevibe or feeling with it, you
know.

SPEAKER_00 (42:30):
It's like it's I would I would love to pull all
12 players on the Ryder Cup andask them what the concession was
and see how many of them knewit.
Right, yeah.

SPEAKER_01 (42:41):
Yeah, I I just feel like that what you just said,
Joe, about them not appreciatingit.
That's not uh the way it'salways been because the teams
that Tigers have been on yeah, they're all right.
You're right.
It's that's a recent problem.

SPEAKER_03 (42:54):
Yeah, I see that, yeah.
It it's a very recent problem,and I think it's a light with
them voting on aid for it.

SPEAKER_00 (43:03):
And you saw a different demeanor from the
people playing when FreddieCouples was involved, when Tiger
Woods was involved, when TomLehman was involved.
Yeah, all those guys that havethe history that played on the
Ryder Cups in the past, that arethere on winning teams, being
present, just it it uh changesthe way people see it.

(43:24):
And Luke Donald is an amazingcaptain for the European team,
absolutely amazing captain.
Absolutely, and I fear whenJustin Rose is gonna be a
captain, because he's gonna be,because he's already a legend,
and he's gonna just continuethis same tradition of them
being more prepared than we are, unless something changes.

(43:45):
Yeah, 100%.

SPEAKER_04 (43:47):
Speaking of Rosie, do we want to talk about the
little dust up between him anduh DeShambeau?

SPEAKER_01 (43:52):
Of course.
So, what happened with that?
But what I heard was the caddywas standing in his eye light,
his eyesight or whatever.

SPEAKER_00 (44:00):
So Justin Rose, Justin Rose was getting ready to
putt.
It was his turn, and Bryson'scaddy was I don't know if he was
unaware it was Justin's turn, but he was starting to go
through his process with helpingBryson with the reeds.
And from what I could tell, nowI don't know verbatim word for
Robus said, but it sure as helllooked like Justin Rose looked

(44:21):
at him and said, You want toback the fuck up?
And uh pretty much so, yeah.
And uh I don't think Brysonappreciated the way he spoke to
his caddy, much like when Keeganand Miguel and Habrera got
dusted up and and he told hiscaddy to shut the fuck up.

(44:41):
Uh, I I don't think Brysonappreciated that.
And I think everybody's headsjust kind of blew up a little
bit for a minute.
What do you think, Dan?

SPEAKER_04 (44:52):
Yeah, I think I think Bryson probably mouthed
off to um Rosie there at the endafter they hold out and probably
said, you know, don't talk to myfucking caddy like that or
whatever.
And then all of a sudden, youknow, here comes Ted Scott out
of nowhere of all people.
Yeah, I was like, what what whatis what is your beef?
He came running up and then he'stalking to uh uh Francesco

(45:15):
Marinera, Calamari pointing athim, and I'm Calamari.
I'm just like, what the fuck isgoing on right now?
I just I honestly I uh I thoughtfor a second, I was like, come
on, let's fight.
Let's fucking fight at the RyderCup just to capture the fucking
shit show off in the dumpsterfire, you know.
Yeah, yeah.
But uh yeah, I would have lovedto, I would have loved to memes

(45:37):
were hilarious.
That's kind of thatconversation.

SPEAKER_00 (45:40):
Test got running up, and people are saying, Oh, he
was just inviting him to hissermon on Sunday, you know.
It was crazy to see him get soanimated.

SPEAKER_03 (45:51):
Yeah, yeah, it was pretty interesting.

SPEAKER_00 (45:53):
Yeah, this is 100%.
He was stepping up for SpellowCaddy, yeah, because I've
probably never been in thatsituation, you know, Bryson's
caddy, and you know, it's it's abig stage, and he probably was
just like, Oh, fuck, I'm sorry, you know, get out of the way.
And then I'm sure they werelike, No, you don't fucking talk
to people that way.
I don't care who you are.
Yeah, yeah.

SPEAKER_04 (46:13):
That reminded me of uh when Keegan and um uh Miguel
Akin Jimenez going over there.

SPEAKER_00 (46:18):
Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah.

SPEAKER_04 (46:20):
That was good.

SPEAKER_00 (46:22):
You go over there and do your face.
Don't talk to him, don't youtalk to my guy like that.
That I love that.
That's we need some more ofthat.
I would love uh can we get apay-per-view for live mic up,
please.
Oh man, give me every playerwith a mic and during rider cup

(46:43):
exp.

SPEAKER_04 (46:44):
Yes, could you imagine you have all I mean?

SPEAKER_00 (46:47):
There's only there's only you know what, four
matches, so there's eightplayers on the golf course at a
time on Saturday, Friday andSaturday.
Mic them up and have a channel.
It's can you imagine it's ahundred bucks, and you can pick
what match you want to watch andwatch every shot with a live
mic?
Yeah, sign me up, sign me up,yeah.

SPEAKER_04 (47:07):
Hell yeah.
Can you imagine hearing that onlike when Rory was telling the
crowd, fuck you, fuck you, fuckyou, catching that on a hot mic
just right on right on USA orMBC or whatever?
That'd be fucking amazing.

SPEAKER_05 (47:19):
Yeah, yeah.

SPEAKER_00 (47:19):
Lakava and Rory got into it.
I forgot Lakava was Cantley'scaddy, yeah.
And it's like did anybody ever Imean, here's a guy that's got
history in this event, historyin this event, and I saw Lacava
one time on TV.

SPEAKER_03 (47:37):
It's like yeah, that was kind of a shame, honestly.
Yeah, you know, I saw I saw likea like a a frame of him, and I
was like, oh yeah, Lakava'sthere.

SPEAKER_00 (47:47):
I know I was like, holy shit.

unknown (47:51):
I don't know.

SPEAKER_00 (47:51):
He was really thinking they're doing they're
doing a terrible job.
All right, so this is who I haveas winners and losers.
The winners, uh Cam Young.

SPEAKER_03 (47:59):
Absolutely, absolutely.

SPEAKER_00 (48:02):
Uh uh JJ Spawn, very limited, but showed up.
Uh JT basically just for what hedid on Sunday.
Yeah, yeah.

SPEAKER_03 (48:12):
He he rolled over, but he showed up when it
mattered.

SPEAKER_00 (48:15):
Shane Lowry, because what he said in his comments
afterwards, when he said to hiscaddy, I've got something, I've
got an opportunity here to doone of the coolest things in the
world.
Make a putt to win the writercup.

SPEAKER_05 (48:29):
That's the difference right there.

SPEAKER_00 (48:31):
I thought him expressing that was epic.
Big win for Justin Rose.
Just yeah, Rosie.
I mean, come on, just amazing.
All right, losing.
I would say a win for Tommy.

SPEAKER_04 (48:46):
Yeah, I was gonna safer.

SPEAKER_03 (48:49):
Tommy was battling a PGA tour win because he just
won.
I mean exactly.
And this was his next showing, right?
Did he play before this?
I don't know if he played in theBMW or not.

SPEAKER_00 (49:02):
I don't think he did.

SPEAKER_03 (49:04):
So it's like Tommy finally fucking broke through
and he showed up.

SPEAKER_04 (49:07):
Maybe he played in the Irish Open.

SPEAKER_03 (49:09):
Maybe, maybe, but he fucking showed up.
Shout out Tommy Fleetwood, oneof the most likable guys that we
see on TV at the tour.
Shout out Tommy.
I'm not a big Tommy Fleetwoodfan.
I love Tommy.
Do you guys like TommyFleetwood?

SPEAKER_04 (49:24):
Oh, yeah.
Yeah, Tommy's good.
I like the hump in his back.

SPEAKER_03 (49:27):
He's a fucking legend, mate.
He's a fucking legend.
He's gonna win a lot next year.

SPEAKER_00 (49:35):
I don't like that he putts with a pixel ball and he's
got a hunchback.
Puts with a claw and have thehunchback and long hair and
stores water in that hump.

SPEAKER_03 (49:45):
I think he's gonna win a couple minutes.

SPEAKER_04 (49:48):
He'll win more for sure.
He'll win more for sure.

SPEAKER_03 (49:50):
He finally broke through.
Tommy Fleetwood couldn't benicer.

SPEAKER_00 (49:55):
Somebody had to say it.

SPEAKER_03 (49:56):
Somebody had to say he's a fucking legend, mate.

SPEAKER_00 (50:00):
Uh all right.
Losers.
Uh Scotty Scheffler.

SPEAKER_03 (50:05):
The loser, biggest loser, biggest loser.

SPEAKER_00 (50:07):
Number one player in the world almost went over.
Big time, big, big time loser.
Uh Victor Hovlin.

SPEAKER_04 (50:17):
He's got a yeah.
I don't even know if you caneven give him a grade.
You gotta you gotta show up toclass to get a grade.

SPEAKER_00 (50:23):
Uh Harris English, Colin Morikawa, Russell Henley,
just bing, bing, bing, bing,bing.
And um I I put I put loser downfor Rory just because he did not
win against Scotty in that finalmatch that I think could have
propelled him to you know RyderCup legendary status.

(50:47):
And uh I think losing to him, losing to Scotty when Scotty was
not playing his best.

SPEAKER_03 (50:52):
Yeah, and he wasn't even yeah, didn't win around.

SPEAKER_00 (50:55):
I guess he was irrelevant the whole entire
weekend as the number one playerin the world, and he really
could have slammed the door andsaid I deserve that top spot.
Um, so I gave him an L for that.

SPEAKER_03 (51:05):
I will say Rory, if he didn't, I know it's very
difficult, and I've never beenin the situation, and I hope to
never be in the situation, butif Rory like that when Rory
people were talking shit to him,and he's like, Shut the fuck up,
and then he hit his two feet.
It's a deal.
If he would have just continuedthat, like and I saw some videos

(51:28):
of him like kind of losing it abit, like if he would have just
held that down and he would havewon that match against Scotty,
yeah, game over.
You know, yep, yep, yep.

SPEAKER_00 (51:41):
All right, uh last thing on the rider cup, uh, the
captains.

SPEAKER_01 (51:46):
Wait, I have one more loser.

SPEAKER_00 (51:47):
Oh, yeah, go ahead.

SPEAKER_01 (51:49):
Uh Peacock.

SPEAKER_00 (51:51):
I didn't watch any of that.

SPEAKER_01 (51:52):
I just watched on the that's the only way I I so
we don't have YouTube TV, so Iwas like, I signed up for
Peacock, and every time I try tolog in and watch it, I got it
for this, and it says I alreadyhave an account.
I can't install it.
So yeah, I just I was tooannoyed.
I just said screw the writer cupthis year.

SPEAKER_02 (52:09):
Great job, MBC.
MBC job, but never gonna sponsorthe podcast, though.
Appreciate you, Peacock.
Uh NBC will never sponsor JasonDela podcast ever.

SPEAKER_00 (52:19):
We don't want them.

SPEAKER_02 (52:20):
Yeah, no, you're the best.

SPEAKER_00 (52:22):
You're please send me a check.

SPEAKER_03 (52:24):
Run another Rolex commercial, yes.

SPEAKER_00 (52:27):
Uh dude, and they they oh that's the the telecast.
We could that could be a wholenother segment, yeah.
Uh the the Rolex hour.
Can we just dude up a little bitmore money, Rolex, and just no
commercial Rolex.

SPEAKER_02 (52:44):
Shout out Rolex for that hour.

SPEAKER_00 (52:45):
And the the guys from Please Let Us Golf had a
great comment uh on their theirepisode where they were covering
this.
Uh, we get an hour free ofcommercial, we get an hour of
commercial free brought to youby Rolex, and the first
commercial outside of that is aRolex commercial.

SPEAKER_02 (53:02):
Fuck yeah, better be.

SPEAKER_03 (53:04):
It better be.

SPEAKER_00 (53:06):
Good God.

SPEAKER_03 (53:07):
Hey, if it's an hour sponsored by Chasing Daylight
Podcast, the next commercialbetter be a Chase and Daylight
Podcast commercial.

SPEAKER_00 (53:15):
The the I'm done, I'm over playing through.
Just stop it, just figure out away to play through.

SPEAKER_03 (53:22):
Put some of that money and you're not playing
through, you're playing side byside.

SPEAKER_00 (53:26):
You're playing side by side with no audio.
I can't even fucking tell what'sgoing on.

SPEAKER_02 (53:32):
Oh, they need to imagine if that's get the
playing side by side.

SPEAKER_00 (53:36):
Yes, please.
Imagine if the dust up withBryson and Justin Rose and all
that stuff happened on uhplaying through, people would
have been losing their fuckingmind, and then they go to blows.
Oh, oh, hey, you may have missedthis because on your TV it was
super super small next to thatbeautiful Rolex ad.

(53:58):
But there was a fight betweentwo top players in the world.

SPEAKER_03 (54:01):
You know what who would have won in that
situation?
Instagram.
Absolutely, and that's why theyneed to catch everything, like
they need to think outside ofthe box.

SPEAKER_00 (54:11):
Absolutely, they do.
All right, so the captains,Keegan and Luke Donald.
Luke, we said it earlier, I saidit earlier, you guys agreed.
Amazing job.
Yeah, amazing job.
He did have a couple littlesnide remarks in his pressers
that people kind of were upsetwith him about, but I think he
handled himself classy, did agood job, was respectful, and uh

(54:37):
was a great captain.
Uh Keegan was about to go downas the worst captain in the
history of the writer cup, worsethan Zach Johnson.
And oh, and many, many peoplewere saying that.

SPEAKER_03 (54:49):
Oh, yeah.
And then he redeemed the playersredeemed him a bit.

SPEAKER_00 (54:53):
He didn't redeem himself.

SPEAKER_03 (54:55):
The players players, yes, absolutely.

SPEAKER_00 (54:57):
Well, let me reflate, rephrase that.
The first eight players redeemedhim.
The guys at the bottom uh didnot.
Um so I think he I think he dida good job as a first time as a
captain.
I think he made some bigmistakes that he'll learn from

(55:18):
throwing Colin and HarrisEnglish back out there after
Lane a duck, I thought washorrible.
Um not playing JJ Spawn as goodas a ball striker is in uh a
four-ball and alternate shotcompetition.
Yeah, um, I think was wascritical.
Um did you watch?
Do you guys follow Decade Golf?

SPEAKER_03 (55:40):
I follow, but I don't see anything.

SPEAKER_00 (55:42):
Uh he was talking about uh where the US fails in
pairings, and he says it itfails when you have the number
one player in the world, one ofthe best iron shot players in
the world, paired with a guy whocan't putt.
You know, and Russell Henley wassupposed to be this this you

(56:05):
know great putter, butstatistically wise, he's not
there.
And you have a player likeScotty Scheffler who hits it
close, and you need you needsomebody that can drain putts
with Scotty Scheffler becausethat player is gonna get just as
many opportunities as Scotty isto putt.

(56:26):
And when Scotty hits it close, you need somebody to shut that
door, and that's where they theyare failing is is in their
pairings, statistically wise, you know, putting the right
players with the right players.

SPEAKER_03 (56:40):
Yeah, I didn't I didn't dive super deep into the
statistics, but the the pairingseemed pretty bad.
They did seem pretty bad forKeegan.
I love Keegan, I loved him asthe captain's pick.
Like I wanted Keegan for the USARyder Cup captain, but I think

(57:01):
his first mistake right off thebat was not playing.
He should have played.
He's what is he in what was hein the world rankings?
11 or 10, 13, I think.
Yeah, he fucked up, and I knowit's a huge responsibility, and
he wants to win it, but he isthe fire that could have helped
them bring it home.

SPEAKER_00 (57:21):
And do you think it hurts him more if he plays and
loses, or if he's the captainand loses?

SPEAKER_03 (57:28):
I think it's the captain and loses 100%.
Because absolutely he was rightthere, and if he played, he
could have been like, I dideverything in my power.
Because he's a he's a he's awriter clip guy, like he loves
that's what he's known for.
So it's why he was the captain.
I picked myself, I dideverything I potentially

(57:51):
possibly could, includingputting myself into the game and
playing and lost.
Now it's like he becomes the guythat, like, hey, you should have
played, but you didn't putyourself in the game.

SPEAKER_00 (58:04):
Yep.
I don't know.
I just I see him playing andlosing, knowing that another
player could have been there ifhe had chosen it.
Could I don't know that'ssomething if I ever get an
opportunity to ask KeeganBradley a question, it's gonna
be that question.
Exactly.
Yeah, that's his thing.
Would it have stung you morelosing as a player?

SPEAKER_03 (58:24):
Because he's lost as a player, he has lost as a
player, so I'm sure thatprobably is just the fire, and
we're there was no fucking firethis week.
No, no fire, no fire, and Keeganbrings the fire.
He he loves this tournament andhe appreciates what it is.
And Europe had a bunch of fire, they appreciate this tournament.

(58:48):
You know, the Ryder Cup.
There was nobody that on the USside that I saw that really
appreciated what the Ryder Cupis besides the captain.

SPEAKER_00 (58:57):
Yeah, yep.
I would agree with that.
Ryson talks a good game.

SPEAKER_03 (59:02):
Yeah, he yeah, he's he's he's got those little
crystals you put in your eyes.
Hey, yeah, hey.

SPEAKER_02 (59:11):
I really appreciate I appreciate the Ryder Cup.
He's like, Hey, throw some tiegrips in your eyes.
Can you throw some red pepper inmy eye?
I gotta cry real quick oncamera.

SPEAKER_00 (59:24):

And so uh go give him a followif you're not following.

SPEAKER_04 (01:01:43):
One quick add-on before we bury this dead beaten
horse that we call the USperformance of the Ryder Cup.
Um, do any of you guys followways to golf on IG?
I do.
So supposedly there was someleaked text that said that in
the last 10 days, Team Europehad played Beth Page eight

(01:02:06):
times, 18 holes eight times in a10 day span.
And so this is this is uh thisis on ways to golf.
Um and the US played nine holestwice.
So they said they they saidpretty much that the Europeans
knew those greens and had thosegreens already down, and the US

(01:02:29):
barely even took the time topractice out there.

SPEAKER_03 (01:02:32):
Well, that even goes to the situation where Keegan
was like, take a day off, guys, take a day off.

SPEAKER_04 (01:02:37):
Yeah, no, yeah.
Check it out, check it out onInstagram.

SPEAKER_00 (01:02:40):

SPEAKER_03 (01:02:42):

You don't follow ways to golf, yeah.
Um yeah, they uh yeah, yeah.
Europe Europe cares way moreabout the Ryder Cup than we do.

SPEAKER_00 (01:02:55):
Check that out.
Ways to golf.

SPEAKER_02 (01:02:58):
All right, all right, shout out Ways to Golf.

SPEAKER_00 (01:03:01):

All right, so I I wanted to uhnow that we've done with all
that and and we've got that offour chest, we can uh decompress
a little bit and and get intosome uh tang when when's the

SPEAKER_00 (01:08:30):

SPEAKER_00 (01:08:39):

SPEAKER_00 (01:09:16):

SPEAKER_04 (01:09:18):
It's a start price, set price.
We can run it.

SPEAKER_00 (01:09:21):
I I love me some special edition major Callaway
staff bags, and I've got onenow.

SPEAKER_02 (01:09:28):
Because he's a big company man.

SPEAKER_00 (01:09:32):
Big company man.

SPEAKER_02 (01:09:33):
Big company guy.
Speaking of that, let's hear it.

SPEAKER_00 (01:09:35):
Let's hear speaking of that.
So uh I have undergone somechanges to my golf bag, and uh
you know it's kind ofembarrassing as a fitter to find
out that I have not been playingthe right equipment, not talking
iron, not talking brand, I'mtalking shafts.
Uh, I started a couple weeks agowith my fairway woods.

(01:09:58):
Um, thankfully, I work withsomebody like Julian, who's a
master fitter and really knowshis shit.
And we have not all the time, but a lot of times, not all the
time, but a lot of times, wehave some downtime between
fittings to where we justpractice and we tinker.
And I love tinkering, I lovetrying new things.
Most of my equipment iscalloway, so it's really easy

(01:10:20):
for me to switch out shafts andtry different things.
Tinker boys, tinker boys.
But this started at for afterCoyote Springs, we had Mitches
coming up, and I was like, Man,I just played it, I didn't play
well.
I'm gonna need a bigger club.
Let's put the three wood back inthe bag.
So I put the three wood back inthe bag, and we're out at
Paiute, and we're hitting, andmy three wood, my five wood, and

(01:10:42):
my seven wood were all going thesame distance.
The distance my seven woodshould go.
I'm like, what the hell is goingon?
And so Julian says, let's let'sscrew around, let's try some
different things.
Uh, so uh I had the LA golfshafts in my fairway woods, I
have them in my irons, I havethem in my wedges.
Uh started uh with a vanquish, which is a very low kick point,

(01:11:08):
high launch shaft, and itinstantly changed my ball flight
and my carry distance to where Iwas like, what the hell is going
on?
And Julian was like, Yeah, youjust you just had the wrong
profile shaft in that.
You know, you you had a shaftprofile that's launching it low.
You're not getting that kick atthe bottom that you need to help

(01:11:29):
get that ball elevated in theair.
And you guys have played with meenough to know my iron strikes
and my my fairway woods arebullets below, they're trash,
they're trash.
Hey, the the most honestopinions come from the people
you love the most.
So true friends stab you in thefront.
Yes, exactly.
Trash, outer trash.

SPEAKER_03 (01:11:49):
So I was real quick before you really dive into it,
guys.
If if you're new to golf, youneed to listen to this.
Just because there's a hot shaftout there, or it's the one that
the dudes play on tour, doesn'tmean it's the one for you.
Listen to this.
Matt was a huge, huge fan ofthat, and now he found something

(01:12:10):
different because it works forhim.

SPEAKER_00 (01:12:12):
Yeah, and and I wasn't a huge fan of LA golf.
I was a I I love their golfshafts, I think they feel
incredible.
I I really enjoy the the fairwayand the driver shafts that I
have had.
I just wasn't seeing numbers, and my swing has changed in the
last six months.
Uh, a lot of work that I've donewith Tim Flote has really

(01:12:34):
helped.
Julian's been helping me with afew things.
And if you look at videos from ayear ago to you know a week ago,
my swing is completely differentmechanically.
It's a lot more sound, it's alot more in sync.
Um exactly.

SPEAKER_02 (01:12:47):
But the the ball's everyone.

SPEAKER_00 (01:12:48):
Yeah, the ball's just not doing what I want it to
do.
And my problem was I was chasingweight, I I was fixated on
weight, and um that put me intoa certain shaft with LA golf,
and I I was blind to theprofile, and that as a fitter is

(01:13:13):
embarrassing because I shouldnot have been oblivious to the
profile on that shaft.
I was going for lighter, Iwanted to stay in the stiff.
The LA Golf 105 L series shaftsare a low launch, low spinning
shaft.
And hey, what have I been doingwith my irons?
Been launching them low, there'sno spin.
Yeah.
So uh at Paiute, we tried somedifferent fairway shafts.

(01:13:36):
It worked, went out to CoyoteSprings, probably had the best
fairway wood ball striking dayI've had in a while with the
shafts that I had the correctprofile in.
So uh a couple days ago, uhJulie and I are out working, and
I said to him, I go, Hey, youknow how that lower kick point
was helping with my fairwaywoods?
Do you think it would?
And he goes, Yes, before I couldeven finish.

(01:13:59):
I said, Okay, so let's starttinkering.
So we went over to the shaftwhile I was talking about my
irons.
Um, and uh he said, Here, let'stry this.
And so we started with a um,what's the first one we hit?
It was the the Denali.
Um, it was a 70 gram stiffshaft.

(01:14:20):
And I was like, eh, 70 seemsreally light.
And he's like, let's just seewhat happens.

SPEAKER_03 (01:14:25):
Yeah, fucking try this shit out.

SPEAKER_00 (01:14:28):
And I was blown away with how much better I was
hitting the ball.
Um, now, a little side note tothis.
We were at Cirquet, which isformerly Rio Seiko.
Where?

SPEAKER_02 (01:14:40):
It's not Cirquet, bro.

SPEAKER_00 (01:14:42):
It's Rio Seco.
I just have to say that.
Circuit City.
Cirquet City.
Uh, and their new range balls,as much as I love that place,
their range balls are garbage.
It's absolutely a disgrace thatthey put those range balls out
there.
It's an embarrassment.
I feel bad.
I'm not gonna be kind to themabout that.
Everything else about that placeis spectacular, but they

(01:15:03):
seriously wholesale shoppedthose range balls.
It's horrible.
Um, so I wasn't a hundredpercent sure if what I was
seeing was these floaters topgolf range balls, floater boys,
floater boys.
So the following day at Revere,we did the same thing, and it
was incredible, it was anincredibly different ball

(01:15:26):
flight.
And so uh I then tried therecoil, the the HDC recoil in a
70 gram stiff, and it it waslike night and day difference.
And then I go hit my shaft, andI can't get the ball in the air.
I just I can't get the ball togo in the air.
Um, I hit it, you know, it goesthe distance I need it to go,

(01:15:47):
but it's low and it's notspinning and it doesn't hold
greens.
Um, it takes a lot for me to youknow get that ball up in the
air.
I just don't swing it fastenough to compress it and launch
it like it needs to with a lowspinning, low launching shaft.
So gotta hit the with thosegreens with those UST Mamiya
recoils.
My numbers were ridiculous, thethe consistency was ridiculous.

(01:16:08):
I was filling up a bucket at 170yards, which is crazy for me.
And I was I was pretty geekedabout it.

SPEAKER_02 (01:16:16):
So recoil, huh?

SPEAKER_00 (01:16:18):
I have those coming.
Uh they'll be here tomorrow.
Uh but then but then I yeah, shout out Lindsay, go listen to
that episode way back in theday.

SPEAKER_03 (01:16:28):
Way, way, way, way back.

SPEAKER_00 (01:16:30):
Uh so then I go, all right, Julian, uh, let's talk
wedges.
And he's like, Yep, it'll help.
I'm like, okay, right.
So we go over to our new wedges, the new SP wedges, shout out
Callaway, Opus SP wedges,they're incredible.
Spinpocket, new but we did nothave, we did not have a light

(01:16:53):
graphite shaft.
We had a super light one, 50grams, right?
And so I said, It's this is toolight.
And he goes, I don't care, let'sjust see what happens, right?
So I had my 50 degree wedge withthe LA the wedge flex, which
they're 120.
Uh and I have not been hittingthose wedges great.

(01:17:16):
I've been hitting them good, butnot fantastic.
Uh I I've lost a littledistance, and so my 50-degree
wedge is like my 100-105 club.
Right.
So we had a 52 and a 50 gramgraphite, and I was hitting that
probably 15 yards further thanmy 50.
And I was like, shut the fuckup.

(01:17:37):
I think you did the giveawayalready.
Thank you, boy.
Yeah, the the the the data on onYouTube is going like this.
Yeah, yeah.
So needless to say, I have newshafts coming for the irons, new
shafts coming for the wedges, and also have a new driver
shaft, which we can talk aboutthat some other time.
Apparently, I'm puttingeverybody to sleep.

(01:17:58):
So the point being, and somebodysaid this earlier, right here.
Yeah, uh, profile trumps flexand weight a hundred percent.
And that is something that I'mgoing to use now to amplify
that.
Um, and this is a great pointtoo.
Also find the ball that worksfor your swing.
Um, I have been playing thechrome tour because I've been

(01:18:20):
able to keep it on the course.
Um and I am really lookingforward to seeing how that ball
reacts to me actually gettingthe the ball to do what I'm
supposed to do.
So I was debating going back tothe Wilson.
I really was.
I'm like, maybe that's it.
But now now if I go out and justcontinue to suck, this is all

(01:18:42):
for naught.
But I really believe based onwhat I saw that it's it's gonna
be a big difference.
Just love you.
Give it a little time mental.
It's mental.
Oh, absolutely.
After this, yeah.
Well, it was what's crazy, and Itold Julian, I said, dude, I I
just it's in it's incredible howmuch easier this is to swing.

(01:19:05):
That you know, and my my pathchanged a little bit, and I had
a I had a long conversation withGreenley uh about this.
You know, he's you know, a golfshaft is not gonna change your
plane, it's not gonna changeyour path.
The golf shaft is not, but adifferent shaft could change how
your body reacts, and I nolonger have to tug, tug the iron

(01:19:29):
down, it can fall naturally in,and it's just oh my goodness,
it's so much better.

SPEAKER_04 (01:19:35):
Long story short, go get fitted.
Even even if you're a fitter, goget fitted.
Yeah, even if you're a fitter,go get fitted.

SPEAKER_00 (01:19:42):
You know, and and I I put the end of an error on IG
and I got a ton of messagesgoing, oh my god, what's wrong
with the LA shafts?
So I had to repose, I had to putthem out there today.
It wasn't the error was on me,you know, it wasn't on LA golf.
You know, I I I chose thoseshafts from LA golf.
Um, LA golf didn't say you needthese and send them to me.

(01:20:02):
No, I chose those shafts.
I was wrong.

SPEAKER_03 (01:20:06):
But I very much he's a company man, master fitter,
math, master fitter, companyman.

SPEAKER_00 (01:20:12):
I was wrong.

SPEAKER_03 (01:20:14):
I think I think one of the easiest things that you
can do is go buy sleeves of golfballs.
Like, if you don't want to spendthe money to like swap shafts,
go get fit.
One of the easiest things to dois just go buy sleeves of golf
balls, try the golf balls, findthe one that works the best for
you, hit three off the T.
See which one works best foryou.

(01:20:35):
Like, uh, who is that?
Uh Robert said he got the pro vpro v left dots today.
Like, go try them next to the ifyou were playing pro v1xs or
bridgestones or whatever youwere doing.
You gotta you gotta be mindfulof what's happening out there
and understand the situationsyou put yourself into and see

(01:20:58):
how you recover from them, butalso like be observant, most
importantly.

SPEAKER_00 (01:21:05):
Yeah, be observant, see what's going on.
Uh that's funny.
Um, yeah, so uh tomorrow I getto build those Thursday.
I'll get to hit them.
We got fittings out at South uhSouth Shore, so we'll be out

(01:21:26):
there, and then um we have theAngel Park Cloud Nine skins game
Sunday night.
So hopefully uh yeah.

SPEAKER_03 (01:21:37):
Hey, also if you guys if if you guys are coming
to Las Vegas, if you guys arecoming to Las Vegas, you can go
on to the Callaway website, booka fitting, Matt and the homie
Juju are fitting three days aweek, right?
Thursday, Friday.

SPEAKER_00 (01:21:53):
Right now, it's it we're gonna be after this next
week, not this week coming up,like in a few days, but the
following week after that, we'regonna start, we're gonna be all
over the place.

SPEAKER_03 (01:22:04):
But if you're an absolute nerd and uh you want to
get fitted for free intoCallaway stuff, they're not
gonna lie to you about things.
So go get on the Callawaywebsite, and if you're in Vegas,
you can go get fit by theabsolute best masterful minded
fitter, Matt Wang and Yat and uhJuju free.

SPEAKER_00 (01:22:27):
And this is something too that's a lot of
people don't know.
Uh, Brendan, one of one of ouruh friends uh on IG, he came
out, but he sent me a message.
He's like, hey, I you know, Ireally don't want to buy some
new stuff right now.
He goes, but can I bring mydriver and you see what's going
on with it?
And I'm like, Yeah, absolutely.

(01:22:48):
You know, of course we want tosell new stuff.
Of course we do.
But if you have, you know, aCallaway driver, let's let's try
to keep it in the family.
And you want to try and get itdialed in, come see us, man.
Come see us, absolutely.
You know, Brendan found out somehuge things about his swing and
why the shaft that he is in isnot for him.

(01:23:10):
Then I could put him in a newdriver with a shaft he should be
in, and he hates me.

SPEAKER_01 (01:23:15):
Yeah, yeah.

SPEAKER_00 (01:23:17):
So I had I had somebody this weekend tell me my
wife doesn't like you, and I'mlike, I've never met your wife.
He goes, Yeah, but I bought adriver that you fit me into, and
I love it, and she hates you forit.
So I will I will take thatgrenade for the I'll jump on the
grenade for the like it's aCallaway driver, it's not my
driver.

(01:23:38):
Uh Vice ball, we got vice ballsin the chat.
Look at that.
Vice balls are legit.
What was this?
Uh, do the mat balls tend to notfly as much?
I don't know.

SPEAKER_03 (01:23:50):
I don't know.

SPEAKER_04 (01:23:51):
I I highly depends on which mat is hitting them.

SPEAKER_03 (01:23:55):
Yeah, yeah.
I'm not a fan of matte balls.
Yeah, I'm not a big fan of themeither.
At all.
At all.
I'm not I'm also I'm YBG.
I'm why I'm yellow ball gang.
I don't like vice yellow balls,or with Taylor made yellow balls
because the covers they're tooyellow.
No, the covers suck, they getscraped up quick.

SPEAKER_00 (01:24:17):
Ah, we got anything else?

SPEAKER_03 (01:24:19):
Play what play what works best for you guys.
End of the story.
Find out what plays works bestfor you.
All right.

SPEAKER_00 (01:24:25):
100%.
100%.
And stay tuned.
I haven't been posting any of myscores lately because we haven't
been playing golf much.
Uh so and Coyote Springs was uha fun little tournament.
So uh the the data will becoming back uh soon.
Uh I am I am still trying tobend David's ear at Goodwood.

(01:24:46):
I have an idea for a video thatI think would be a lot of fun.
Um, but I need to get a puttercompany on board.
I don't want it to be thecompany.
So uh I love Goodwood and whathe's doing, so I'm trying to to
bend his ear to get him on boardwith this.
So if that happens, look forthat coming.

(01:25:07):
And I may do it on the CDP pagejust just to help get us over
the hump on these views and uhyou know subscribers.
So yeah, guys for that comingup.
Share the show.
Share the show.
Share the show.
Tell your friends, tell yourfamily.
Um seriously.
Last thing I was gonna say istonight or earlier today, I

(01:25:27):
opened online fitting.
Oh, not a fan of online fitting.
I like to see ball flight.
I like to see I like fittingoutdoors, I like to see the ball
flight.
That's we use the quads when wehave to, if like we have a
numbers person that needs to seethe proof.
Um, but I like fitting off ballflight and ground impact.
Um, I opened up the season 2026,it is available for the VGN

(01:25:53):
right now.
Uh season six of the VGN.
Uh, it will start next year atRhodes Ranch in February.
Registration is open now.
Returning members, price is only$200.
First time new members,$250.
Uh, we do have a referral fee.
If you are a current member andyou refer somebody, uh, you'll

(01:26:15):
get$25 back to you.
If you sign up and then yourefer somebody, you're a current
member.
You'll get$25 sent to you.
It's an easy way to knock offsome of the fees that you pay.
And now I I saw uh anotherleague doing some promotions on
Instagram and I kind of likedit.
So I'm gonna run uh over thatwith some with some of the

(01:26:36):
board.
But um I I think one of thefirst promotions we're gonna do
is uh if we if you sign upbefore uh the VGN finals, if you
sign up for the next seasonbefore the VGN finals takes
place on November 15th and 16that Reviewer, um then uh your
name will go into a raffle andI'll select somebody from that

(01:26:58):
raffle that'll either get a freeentry fee or get their
membership or or something.
So uh there's gonna be someperks for signing up.
Uh I I kind of want to make youknow everybody aware that you
know we try to take care of ourplayers as much as possible.
So uh look for that.
Also, also, oh, I got anotherthing.
Uh, if you watch the reverevideo, I I went out to Revere

(01:27:21):
and recorded this was on theYouTube channel, uh CDP YouTube
channel.
Uh I met with Tys, the GM atRevere, and just recorded a
little just show a little videoof what they're doing out there.
Uh, chatted with Tys a littlebit, and just if you're not a
hundred percent sure what goeson during an overseed, uh, this
is you know what we're trying todo to not only just educate the

(01:27:43):
golfers in Vegas that coursesare not dead, they are dormant.
There's a lot of work that goesinto getting the courses back to
green for the fall and winterseason.
So go check that out, uh, leavea comment on it for us, uh, help
that video get some more viewsbecause Revere is doing some
really big things.
And then the GM Trey at Legacysaw that video, called me up and

(01:28:03):
says, Hey, come out here, let'sdo the same thing for Legacy.
So I'm going, I'm meeting withthem on Friday, gonna shoot some
more content for them and showeverybody the changes that are
going on at Legacy.
It's pretty impressive.
I'm I'm really excited forwhat's happening there because
our tournament will follow thenext weekend.

SPEAKER_04 (01:28:20):
So um looking looking forward to it.
Yeah, speaking of Tice, did yousee he got uh he got an ace out
there at Bolder Creek?
Yeah, number three on CoyoteRunning tournament.
Yeah, good for him.

SPEAKER_00 (01:28:32):
Congrats to that's his second one, I think.

SPEAKER_04 (01:28:37):
That's pretty cool.

SPEAKER_00 (01:28:38):
Nice when you make an ace in a tournament.
Yeah.
We don't have fitters in Maui.
What are you serious?
At all the golf courses in Mauiand the places there, they don't
you don't have fitters?
Holy crap.

SPEAKER_03 (01:28:58):
There you go, Matt.
They're gonna have to build abridge across the Pacific for
you to drive that van acrossthere.

SPEAKER_00 (01:29:04):
Well, hey Daniel, do you have access to like a
hitting bay where you can liketrack man hitting bay or uh the
anything uh a facility thatsells clubs that you can go in?
Because if I mean you want tohit me up and I'll hop on a IG
Live with you and and we canchat.

SPEAKER_03 (01:29:21):
That's the homie got paint.
Yeah, we can take care of it.

SPEAKER_00 (01:29:25):
Okay, yeah.
Hit me up, Dan.

SPEAKER_03 (01:29:28):
Let me know.
Let me know.
Let me know what you need.
We'll take care of it.

SPEAKER_00 (01:29:31):
All right, I'm gonna shut up and I'll let Joe wrap
this up.
I'm not sure about thatwhatsoever.
Comes an interruption.
Yeah, I'll I'll mute my mic.
Go, Joe, wrap it up.

SPEAKER_03 (01:29:46):
So I changed my shafts.
I'm thinking about changing myshafts.
I don't have data to really saythat.

SPEAKER_00 (01:29:53):
You would say some shit like that.

SPEAKER_03 (01:29:56):
