The best story in town isn’t a viral ace or a new driver—it’s a public course quietly fixing the stuff that actually changes your round. Recently Matt met with The Legacy’s GM and dug into water constraints, smarter irrigation, fragile overseed choices, and why this winter’s promise is simple and rare: smooth greens you can trust. No spin, no sizzle reel—just the mechanics of better golf, explained in plain language you’ll feel when your putt holds its line.

From there, we widen the lens. Revere Golf Club: Lexington is lush, Concord’s back, and October in Vegas is elite golf weather—fast mornings, crisp evenings, and two events on the calendar. We break down our night skins at Cloud Nine, why we refunded the pot for fairness, and how those small decisions keep the scene honest.

We also pull back the curtain on gear: how a 70g graphite iron shaft unlocked higher launch and softer landings, why speed-only fittings miss the point, and what tools to buy first if you’re getting into club building at home.

Community is the throughline. CDP Premium is live for deeper cuts and after-hours riffs. Our listener-powered Vegas rankings app is coming, so you can grade every course with the same scorecard we use—then challenge our list with data.

We spotlight the returning Skins Game, the real pulse behind TGL talk, and the rising buzz around Rodeo Dunes, including how last year’s charity auction raised over $100K for a cause that matters.

If you love golf beyond the highlight reel—if you care about surfaces, setups, fittings, and the people who show up—you’ll feel at home here.

Subscribe, drop a review, and share this with your golf group. Then tell us: would you take smooth greens over fast ones this month?

ball markers in your pocket allday?

SPEAKER_00 (02:31):
Yeah, for eight ball marker, heron ball marker,
Scotty Chippin, or no, ScottyCovers, uh Thrifty.

So open for those.
Speaking of skins game, theskins game is coming back.

SPEAKER_03 (04:20):
I saw something about that.

SPEAKER_00 (04:24):
They need to like have like a vintage feel to it
because the skins game back inthe day, like they need to put a
filter on the those cameras orsomething, like old, you know,
it's a correlated fuzziness.

SPEAKER_03 (04:36):
This is only available in uh you know one by
one format on VHS, yeah.

SPEAKER_00 (04:42):
Dude, that'll be awesome.

SPEAKER_03 (04:44):
Yeah, if you have a CRT TV to be able to view this.

SPEAKER_00 (04:48):
Well, it's JT, Tommy Fleetwood, Keegan Bradley, and
Xander.

SPEAKER_04 (04:53):
Okay.

SPEAKER_00 (04:54):
Where are they playing it at?
Uh they're gonna play it atPanther National, of course,
because okay.
Um, people were saying, like, play it in the desert, Palm
Desert, but um, you know, JTbeing involved.
He's he's uh co-designer ofPanther National.
I can't remember with Jack.

(05:15):
Something like that.

SPEAKER_03 (05:17):
It would be cool if they could do it like during
like in the slow time whenthere's not a lot of golf going
on.

SPEAKER_00 (05:23):
I think it's December.
I think it's supposed to beDecember.

SPEAKER_03 (05:26):
Before TGL starts, you know, you got uh October,
November, December, where youcould do this like maybe every
other week and just go hit upsome of the you know golf
uh.com's top 100 and and knockout some amazing places to show
some pretty interesting.

SPEAKER_00 (05:43):
I was going out sourcing for the 5K show on
Sunday.
Um, and I was at PGA superstoreyesterday, I think, and they're
selling official hammer towels.
Wow, the hammer, yeah.
The hammer towels, the orangetowels.

SPEAKER_03 (05:59):
Oh, oh, okay.

SPEAKER_00 (06:01):
They're selling those towels at PGA superstore,
which is not you're talkingabout the boom baby guy.
No, no, no, no.
The the towels that they throw, like hey, yeah, yeah, the
hammer.
Yeah.
Hell no.
Wow.
Interesting.
TGL.

SPEAKER_03 (06:18):
Yeah, on a scale of one to ten.
That's a one.

unknown (06:23):
Sorry.

SPEAKER_02 (06:23):
I wonder when uh if they made any changes.
I haven't really looked into itmuch.

SPEAKER_03 (06:28):
I enjoyed it.
Yeah, I enjoyed it too.
They they started they juststarted promoting it because now
that it's upcoming, and like Isaid, there's not a lot going
on.
So I think you'll start seeing alittle bit more of that out
there.
Hey, the Yanks one.
All right, one good thing downtoday.
Yeah, still alive, still alive.
All right, uh, so um otherthings that are going on.

(06:52):

The slice from whatnot is gonnacome over and help also.
Hey, nice shout out, Jason.
Hey, also, guys, if you have anyquestions while we're doing this
podcast, throw them in the chat.
All right, throw any questionsyou have, golf related, throw
them in the chat.
Um, but yeah, it was uh it ittonight I popped on to just

(09:00):
promote the podcast and it was awild night.
It's getting cooked.
Yeah, so uh started a littleslow.

SPEAKER_03 (09:06):
You were complaining a lot at the beginning.

SPEAKER_00 (09:08):
Yeah, it was it was it was a wild night, and that's
the thing, you never know.
But uh yeah, 5k show, win orlose.
We're gonna give away a spider'sE T putter.
Uh we're gonna give away that, huh?
Nope, not gonna game it.
I do have a Bett Nardy uh QueenB.
It's super short, it it wouldfit you very well, Matt.

(09:29):
Um but I I might I might veryshort this guy.
It's very short.
I might I might bring it toLegacy and play it because I
love the feel of it, which isweird, right?
But uh or and I might play itthat day, and then maybe we'll
sell it that night.
But um yeah, I got a lot ofshit.
I got a lot of stuff.

(09:50):
I have a bunch of Vokies comein.
Uh yeah, I got a lot of stuff.
And uh trying to do trying to doit big, trying to trying to like
actually make it a celebrationin the garage.
And I I'd hope all the homiesthat are taking red eye flights
would show up and uh justsupport, you know what I mean.

(10:11):
What time does it start?

SPEAKER_03 (10:12):
I'll be there and see.

SPEAKER_00 (10:14):
I don't know.
Uh currently, I don't know.
I'm gonna, you know, uh sixaccording to the notifications,
it's been starting every day fortwo weeks.
That's right.
We're building bookmarks.
Hey, these guys know what it'sabout.
Uh some days are wild.
You're right, T Lou.

SPEAKER_03 (10:31):
Yeah, some days on that.
Well, the yesterday uh take fivewas going crazy.
Going crazy.
People were donating wedgegiveaways, then he went four in
a row Scotty giveaways.
Yeah, that was wild.
Yeah, that was wild.
It's nuts on there sometimes.
I had to step away and whatnotfor a little while.

(10:53):
It's dangerous, man.

SPEAKER_00 (10:54):
Save some money.
Well, uh that's the hard thing,is like I was gone for I was in
Maryland for like four days, andI'm like, I feel like I'm lost
now, you know.
The shit happened so fast.

SPEAKER_03 (11:07):
Yeah, I I have been good at not spending money on it
lately.
Been really good at that.
I just I just love watching.
Yeah, me too.
I love watching, I love seeingsome of the deals.
I love seeing people get excitedabout things.
I I love the rare, the rarefinds.

SPEAKER_00 (11:26):
Like day five's got a bunch of oven stuff that is
like, oh I bought some of thoseuh Nike heads yesterday.
Yeah, I bought I bought one.
I got like six of them coming.
But no, uh that's the thing.
Like, it's every time I ask thequestion when I do a show is
like, are you new to golf?
Who's new to golf?

(11:46):
How long have you been playing?
And it's like most of the time,it's like new, new, less than a
year, less than a year, 16months.
And it's like, I I was I was inMaryland and I I met up with
Thrifty, Thrifty Golf DMV.
He's been on the show, and he wewere talking about whatnot and

(12:07):
the state that it's in.
And I was like, you know, like Ijust feel as an embed I I'm not
an ambassador of the game,right?
But I love the game.
The game of golf has given me somany things, it's given me
friendships like you guys, andgolf.
I I feel like I honestly couldnever repay it back.

(12:30):
And I just want to teach thepeople that don't know.
Uh you might know about clubs, you probably know about Tailor
Maid, Calloway, Company Man.
Uh, but all these names, and I Ithere's some there's so many
intricacies about the game ofgolf that you probably don't
know about, and that's that'sbecome a passion of mine because

(12:52):
it's I dude, I love golf, likeseriously.
And uh I can't do it as much asI want to, but when I get to do
it, I try and enjoy every aspectof it, every moment.
So it's like I want to bringthat to whatnot, right?
If I lose, I lose, and if I losetoo much, uh you won't see me

(13:14):
anymore.
But if I you know, if I win, then you'll see me a lot, you
know.
And it's I don't know, golf isjust the dopest thing in the
world.
I love golf.

SPEAKER_03 (13:25):
Yeah, how was how was Maryland?

SPEAKER_00 (13:28):
Maryland was cool, so uh the second swing in
Maryland is not like the Phoenixversion.
Phoenix it kills the Marylandsecond swing 100%.
It was very small.
I found some stuff.
I mean, obviously, like secondswing is not for digging and
finding stuff for resellers, butyou know, there's some things we

(13:52):
can we can break even with.
And if I break even on thingswith clubs, like we're good.
Um but yeah, I found a good woodputter, shot out good wood.

SPEAKER_03 (14:02):
Um you never answered me.
How much were they wanting forthat?

SPEAKER_00 (14:07):
I don't even remember.
I honestly don't remember.

SPEAKER_03 (14:10):
Because they have a ton of goodwoods on their
website, but they're all wayoverpriced for resale, you know.

SPEAKER_00 (14:15):
New different, but no, when when when Thrifty came
in, because Thrifty knowsGoodwood, and um he came in.
I was like, Did you see this?

SPEAKER_03 (14:28):
You hang on, you ever heard of Mer Marumon golf
clubs?
Marumon?
Oh yeah, Marumon?
You have Jay?

SPEAKER_00 (14:36):
Oh I have not.
That's a name that I haven'tseen in years.
Ooh, Hawaiian special or what?

SPEAKER_03 (14:49):
Anyways, sorry to interrupt.
You're talking about uh uh heknows Goodwood.

SPEAKER_00 (14:56):
Yeah, no, yeah.
I I I was in there and um Ididn't spend a time.
I you know me, I I go to thewedges, like I that's my
favorite clubs in the bag.
Like that's the scoring club.
So I went, I went and justcombed the fairway woods real
quick, and then I went straightto the wedges.
So I got a bunch of uhthankfully they are shipping the

(15:18):
clubs back because I went tobeen able to get those on the
airplane.
Um, but they're shipping me abunch of Vokies, 14s.

SPEAKER_03 (15:26):
Um, I forget what else I bought, but um should
have bought like a bag and atravel bag and just done it all
like that.

SPEAKER_00 (15:34):
I thought about it, but I didn't get to play, so I
didn't bring it.
Um but then we went to a thriftshop and uh got to observe
Thrifty Golf D M V in hisnatural habitat.

SPEAKER_04 (15:45):
Nice.

SPEAKER_00 (15:47):
I was not I was not like trying to like get in his
business because that's histhat's his area, that's that's
where he's from.
So he found some sick stuff.

SPEAKER_03 (15:57):
He found a couple couple things that were pretty
how the thrift shops out therecompare to what we got here,
massive, massive, massive,right?

SPEAKER_00 (16:05):
Massive, way different, way different.
Um, but yeah, I after that Icame home.
You know, I had yesterday offand I went to go comb a few,
found some pretty cool shit.
I found some Olympic club polosyesterday.
Um yeah, pretty crazy.

SPEAKER_03 (16:25):
But yeah, we we think that uh out here what
happens is uh people getdivorced and ex-wives get to get
a hold of the collections andthey like to just give that shit
away.
And it happens a lot out here,so you can find some real some
real heavy bangers out here ifyou're like you gotta dig you
gotta dig way more out herethough.

SPEAKER_00 (16:46):
Like it's because it's so spread out, but um like
dude, Thrifty found this likewindbreaker jacket thing from
the players that's probably likeearly 90s.
Five bucks.
It was sick.
Oh I was like, uh damn, I'mgonna have to bid on bid on that
show, right?

SPEAKER_03 (17:05):
Shit.
I'll give you 10 right now.

SPEAKER_00 (17:08):
That'll be mine.
Yeah, no, but it was cool tosee, you know.
I love all the dude, like therelationships you build through
that app are pretty interesting.
I know that the birdie gang, uh,shout out Bubba for the win.
They're coming, they're cominghere in January.
Shout out and bush.
He's uh potentially I'm gonna behis partner.

(17:30):
We'll see what happens there.
Um, but no, everyone's dope.
Love it.
Support everyone, followeverybody.
Like I always say.

SPEAKER_03 (17:42):
Yeah, there's drama on that shit, too.
There's some drama.
There is there's somedeep-seated drama that's going
on, and and a lot of people weretrying to bait uh Tyler and do
it last night.

SPEAKER_00 (17:54):
You gotta keep up with it, man.
That's that's the thing, bro.

SPEAKER_03 (17:56):
Yeah, you you don't hang out for a couple days, you
come in there, it's a wholedifferent world.
Like, oh no, we're not in Texasanymore.

SPEAKER_00 (18:03):
Well, I was around for like five days, and I feel
like I missed so much shit, andI feel like I gotta get back up
in there, you know.
It's it's so crazy.
Whatnot is wild.

SPEAKER_03 (18:13):
All right, so we have uh the the cloud nine at uh
skins game we had out at uhAngel Park, the Cloud9 course.
Uh, this event I decided to goahead and put it on, even though
I was pondering canceling it,but then I found out my deposit
wasn't refundable.
So we were gonna think aboutmoving it to the spring to try

(18:33):
and get more people.
Then I said, you know what?
That's just what's the minimumpeople you'll let me bring and
still be able to use my deposit.
Uh so that was 16.
I said, I'll try to get 20.
So we ended up with 20 players, and uh it everybody that came
was really happy, they had areally good time.
Uh the the weather was itcouldn't have been better.

(18:57):
Oh, yeah.
Sunday night was gorgeous.
It was 73 degrees out there.
By the sun, the sun going down alittle bit, it it probably
dropped to right around 70.
It was there was no wind, it wasperfect.
The course, it was the first, the second day they had been
open since the cloud nine courseoverseated.

(19:18):
Uh, probably the best.
You'll see those greens untilthis time again next year
because they were not a craterfactory.
And it was it was a lot of fun.
It was really sad we didn't getmore people to come out to it.
Um, got some feedback from theguys that came that said maybe
Sunday nights aren't great forpeople.

(19:39):
Uh, I know we have a lot ofSunday guys that can't play
golf.
Um, so the T-boxes were stillbeat up, Jordy.
Yeah, yeah, yeah.

SPEAKER_02 (19:47):
They were a little bit beat, yeah.

SPEAKER_03 (19:49):
And the bunkers have sand in them, but it's it's
compacted sand.
It's don't don't go in thebunkers.
Yeah.
Um, but yeah, I don't think theydid much work on the T-Boxes.
They were they already tore uppretty good, but the greens were
fantastic.

SPEAKER_02 (20:03):
They were perfect, fast, smooth.

SPEAKER_03 (20:05):
And the putting green was crazy fast.
Um, but the weather wasfantastic out there.
But so yeah, it was fun.

SPEAKER_02 (20:13):
I would love to do more of those.
Like if we did another one inthe spring, that was that's what
everybody said.

SPEAKER_03 (20:17):
They they said they loved it, so yeah, we're gonna
try and do we'll find adifferent night to do it on.
Um, you know, maybe Fridaynight, maybe Saturday night.
But uh yeah, hopefully, dustexactly.

SPEAKER_00 (20:28):
I'm jealous, I would have been there.
I mean, oh, I know you wouldhave there.

SPEAKER_03 (20:31):
And Dan would have been there, Trey would have been
there, Julian would have beenthere.
You know, we would have hadprobably another good 10-15
people.
Um, just schedules didn't workout great for a lot of people,
and uh, but I I will be doing itagain.
It was a lot of fun.
We had everybody that birdied ahole, it was capped.
So we had a$360 pot, and it allgot capped.

(20:54):
So uh for the remaining guys, that there was about six of us,
seven of us hanging out, andAdam Simpson was there, and he
was saying, you know, well, thisis what we do at our club, you
know, you have to validate.
And then so we went backthrough, and the guys that
validated that gave us threewinners.
And I was like, Well, you know, that's not really fair because
if you had if you knew you hadto validate, maybe you know, you

(21:15):
hit your shots a little bitdifferent after you make
birdies, that's not really fair.
So I just refunded everybody the$15 purse money for the skins.

SPEAKER_00 (21:24):
So I do have one question for the chat.
Oh who's jo who's joining VegasGolf Network next year?
And if Jordy better, if Jordandoesn't put a yes, I'm gonna be
very disappointed.

SPEAKER_03 (21:40):
Uh yeah, he's gonna have to.

SPEAKER_00 (21:42):
I'm gonna force him to Jordan.

SPEAKER_03 (21:45):
So he's he's hooked.

SPEAKER_00 (21:48):
I know he is, I know he is.
That's what that's what golfwill do to you, man.

SPEAKER_03 (21:52):
It will, it will.
Uh, so yeah, so look for anotherevent like that next year, uh,
probably springtime before itstarts getting too hot.
We can still do it under thelights.
And uh if I have any money whenI come back from Japan, I'll
join.
All right, I'm gonna hold you tothat.

SPEAKER_00 (22:09):
Jordan, text me because I gotta you gotta hit
somewhere for me, and I'll I'llpay you for the shirt.

SPEAKER_03 (22:15):
Uh oh.
All right, so want to talk aboutthe legacy interview.
Uh, it was it was awesome thatTrey allowed me to come out
there and tour the course andreally go into uh depths about
what's going on there.
It's a nine-minute video, it'sit's not an exciting video.
It's not like wow, this is gonnaget a million views because it's

(22:38):
the best you know YouTube videogolf content out there.
But if you're somebody that hasreally wanted Legacy to come
back and be the course that itwas, please go check it out.
Uh they great layout, they'vebeen getting a ton of hate
because of their conditions overthe last 12 months.
So Trey goes into a little bitof details about what has

(23:00):
happened, talked about all thechanges uh that they've done,
tons of changes to the golfcourse, and a lot of it is
behind the scenes that everydaygolfers don't see and don't
really understand.
Um, I didn't I did not know thatthey don't have potable water
there.
Uh so most all the golf coursesin town, the greens, they get to

(23:22):
use potable water.
Um, but legacy, for some reason, when they did their watering,
they don't have potable water,so they have to treat the water
they put on the greens, whichcosts more money.
Um you know they Trey wastelling me that most golf
courses have eight sprinklerheads on a green.

(23:43):
Uh four of them water thegreens, the other four water the
surrounding areas around thegreens.
They only have four.
So they had to uh last yearthey've made some changes, but
last year it was a 360 rotation.
So in the winter, when thedormant Bermuda doesn't need
water, it was still gettingwater, and the green wasn't

(24:06):
getting enough water because inorder for it to get enough, they
would have to run it twice aslong.
That's gonna kill your waterrestrictions.
So now they have new sprinklerheads in there that they can
shut off half of that, so itonly waters 180.
Um, so you'll notice this yearin the wintertime, the
surrounding areas around thegrain will not be squishy and

(24:29):
muddy and nasty because it'sbeen getting too much water that
it doesn't need, and the greenswill be a lot nicer.
He went into a lot of detailsabout the the grass on the
greens.
They use a Poa Trivialis inVegas uh in the winter.
Uh I didn't know that themajority of the golf courses in
Vegas are bent greens.

(24:50):
I thought we had a lot ofBermuda.
Yeah, yes, the bird the 90% ofthe golf courses in Vegas have
Bermuda greens or have bentgreens.
Uh there's 10% that haveBermuda, and then there's also a
couple like Reflection Bay andClub at Sunrise that have the uh
bad grass.
I can't remember the name at thetop of my head.

(25:11):
Um so of the courses that havethe Bermuda greens, all of them
go dormant and they paint it,except for Legacy.
They actually do an overseed andput a different grass on there.
The grass that they put on thereis a very fragile grass, and it
doesn't do well in warm weather.

(25:32):
And last year in October, whenthey were going through the
overseed, we had a heat wave andit was nasty, and that grass did
not make it, and the Bermudacame back, and so it had uh a
bad root base of dead grassbecause it dies, and then you
had the Bermuda coming backthrough it, so it made it really
rough, really bumpy.

(25:53):
And everybody remembers playingin the winter.
Yep at Legacy, the greens werenot good.

SPEAKER_00 (25:59):
True, yeah.
So this year, frozen, frozenthis year, much different.

SPEAKER_03 (26:04):
The grass is taken, it looks gorgeous.
It's gonna be a little long,it'll be a little slow, but it's
smooth.
Uh, he told me that by our eventthis Sunday, they're gonna be
able to lower the mower heightstwo more times, not the third
final one that they want.
Um, so they will be smooth, theywon't be fast, they won't be
slow, they'll but they'll besmooth.

(26:25):
And I said, That's my guys canlive with smooth greens, they
can't live with bumpy slowgreens, but smooth greens will
be fine.
Fairways are looking great, theygot all new sand and all the
greenside bonkers.

SPEAKER_00 (26:38):
And uh I think that's one of those things, too,
though.

SPEAKER_03 (26:40):
It's like every like even when holy shit, we have a
Michael Lindeggi sighting.

SPEAKER_00 (26:46):
Let's go.
He's busy, bro.
He's busy just busy traveling,man.
Seeing beautiful golf courses.

SPEAKER_03 (26:55):
He goes to Colorado and he goes to Georgia.
Next thing you know, he's like,Who's Matt in Vegas?

SPEAKER_02 (26:59):
We're gonna see drone footage of legacy from
Mike on beautiful golf courses.

SPEAKER_00 (27:04):
Yeah, yeah.
I think that's one of thosethings though, is like everybody
expects like the pure, like puregolf courses.
I mean, I know when I wasplaying, like when I first, you
know, two years in, I was like,it's not green, fuck it.
I'm not playing.
Like if it's not green, whywould I even spend my money

(27:24):
there?
But as I've matured in my golfuh knowledge, it's like the golf
courses play different when it'sdry, when it's green, when it's
soft, when it's hard.
And I think that's one of thebeautiful things about golf
courses change daily.
Pins, uh firmness, softness.

(27:48):
And it's like Legacy is uh agreat layout.
We've always said it.
We've all said it.

SPEAKER_03 (27:56):
I know you did, Mike.
I'm just messing with you.
Thank you for that.
Uh let's see, Jordy is Lexingtonback.
Yeah, Lexington is back.
Uh Jeremy and I played theirSunday.
And it's it is in fantasticshape.
Uh the it's still car path only.
Five holes today.
There's only five holes thatwere car path only.

(28:16):
Uh so hopefully by the weekendthey'll be back to full course.
But it is green, it is lush, itis gorgeous.
The greens are nice, everythingis great.
Uh the 15th fairway, Jerry.
That is it is Bermuda.
It is yeah, that's why it'sincredible.
Yeah, so on the 15th hole onLexington, they replaced all the

(28:38):
grass on the fairway with aBermuda.
Um, it'll save them a ton ofwater.
It's a test to see how well thecourse handles that grass being
there.
And if it does well, thenthey're more than likely they're
gonna go to that fairway grassuh throughout the course uh just
to help keep a good coursecondition and still maintain,

(29:00):
you know, the uh the the wateroverlords.

SPEAKER_02 (29:05):
Yeah, it looked different.
I I didn't look, I mean it'sobviously very young and it's
just coming in, but it lookedway different than the normal
Bermuda that you see at likeNational.

SPEAKER_03 (29:15):
It was fun to hit off of.
Yeah, it was really nice to hitoff.
Uh what do you say here?
I contact my phone from 2020.
I have you as Matt BreakfastBall.
I'm not changing it.
So many people know me as that,so that's fine.
I'm okay with that.
Uh yeah.
So Lexington, go out toLexington, get out there.

(29:35):
Concord just opened upyesterday.
It was his first day, it's backopen, so Legacy's back, or uh uh
Lexington and Concord are bothopen and going.
Go check them out.
Please do.
The courses are in great shape.
Now is a good time.
The weather is amazing.
We're gonna have we're gonnahave rain Thursday and Friday,
but uh yeah.

SPEAKER_02 (29:54):
It's the best time of the year to come to Vegas to
play golf.

SPEAKER_03 (29:57):
October is my favorite month.
It's the best.
It's so good.
October is absolutely so good.
We got two tournaments thismonth.
Yeah.
All right.
That's I mean, we've talkedabout everything that I really
want to talk about.

SPEAKER_00 (30:12):
I wish they could plug an audio into whatnot.

SPEAKER_03 (30:16):
Yes, it is.
The Lexington Concord, it's uhthe where Paul Revere rode
between.
That's why it's Revere GolfClub, Lexington Concord.

unknown (30:24):
Yeah.

SPEAKER_03 (30:24):
They used to have a lot of Paul Revere artwork and
uh logos and him riding a horrorwith a flag way back in the day.
What audio you mean, Joe.

SPEAKER_02 (30:36):
When the Revolutionary War was fought in
Vegas.
Back when Mexico.
Yep.

SPEAKER_00 (30:42):
Paul Revere.

SPEAKER_03 (30:45):
The Panaka to uh PH.

SPEAKER_00 (30:49):
Yeah.

SPEAKER_03 (30:52):
What are you trying to do, Joe?

SPEAKER_00 (30:53):
I was gonna go live on whatnot and oh geez.
Just to do the podcast.
But I gotta get audio in here.
And I don't know how to do thatcurrently.

SPEAKER_03 (31:06):
We would probably have to pay an extra premium to
uh to be able to add that.
So yeah, please go go subscribeto CDP Premium.
Links are in the show notes.
I just to help Joe get audio.

SPEAKER_00 (31:21):
No, I just want I just want people to listen.
They're listening.

SPEAKER_03 (31:26):
We've had so many people come over here from
whatnot.
Absolutely.
Yeah, there's a lot more.
There's a lot more subscriptionsare up on YouTube.
We're climbing there.
Uh people are following back onInstagram.
We're it's we're getting there.
We're getting there.

SPEAKER_00 (31:40):
Absolutely, we are.

SPEAKER_03 (31:41):
Yes.
And we're not we're not doing itwith marketing agencies.
It's all I'm not gonna lie, it'sall me, but uh we're we're
getting there.
We're getting there.
But Jeremy worked on somethingtoday that's very exciting.
Very exciting.
So uh go ahead, Jeremy.
You did the work, you you telleverybody what's going on.

SPEAKER_02 (32:01):
Go ahead.
So one of our uh key items thatwe've always done is the Vegas
ranking site where we rank allthe courses in Vegas based on
several different criteria, andwe always get a lot of shit for
it every time we do it.
But we thought, you know what,we should have we should give
away for our listeners to do it.

(32:22):
So we're kind of in the middleof developing an app so that you
guys can do that.
So maybe in the couple, I don'tknow when we're gonna do our
next ranking show, but we candefinitely push this out before
that, and then basically it'sgonna be a link, and you guys
can have a chance to go and rankit, and then we can aggregate
all the data and have like anoverall score of all of our

(32:43):
listeners.
So it'll be pretty cool.
Maybe a week or two we'll we'llannounce it, put it out on the
site, and then you guys canaccess it, put in your rankings,
and then we can give you shitfor it.

SPEAKER_03 (32:56):
Yeah, it's we we get crapped on so much for our
rankings, but we have reason.
Yeah.
So uh what's gonna be awesomeabout this is if you've played a
Vegas course, you'll be able torank it based on the point
system that we use for ourrankings.
Uh, if you have not played it,you'll be able to select I have
not played it.
It's gonna give you how manycourses you've played, how many

(33:17):
courses you're not ranking.
Then we get all that data, andthen we'll be able to compile it
and we'll be able to say, hey, based on so many people that
have submitted their forms, thisis what the CDP listeners, what
their Vegas rankings are.
We'll be able to compare themwith ours and we'll we'll see
how it goes.
I think it's a great idea.
Uh, we've been wanting to dothis for a couple years.

(33:39):
Jeremy did a fantastic job.
We saw the beta version of ittoday.
It's gonna be a fantastic wayfor us to interact with our
listeners and uh you know, hopefully bring some credibility
to what we say.
Yeah, we'll we'll see.

SPEAKER_02 (33:56):
It's not easy, and I think that most people that are
gonna be in the middle ofranking the list of courses,
it's gonna be like, wow, this isactually pretty difficult.
And now and then they'llunderstand why while Wolf Creek
is ranked number 32, whatever itwas, 32, 24.
So yeah, I mean we're gonna havea few updates when we do our

(34:17):
next one, and maybe in thespring or something.

SPEAKER_03 (34:20):
We'll have some updates with Shadow Creek and
yeah, because that and I'veplayed uh what did I I got what
did I get out to oh Red RockCountry Club and that one
knocked off.

SPEAKER_02 (34:31):
Um, let me see when when was oop I don't want to I
think we did it maybe April.
Just looking at it today.

SPEAKER_03 (34:40):
I think it was was it episode 300?
It was uh I've seen it.
So that was November of 2024.
So we'll have to do it probablysummertime.
Okay, and have it come out.
We'll have our rankings up bysummer and have it come out in
the fall.
So we're trying to do it everytwo years.

SPEAKER_02 (34:58):
Yeah.
So yeah, watch for that.
We'll send it out, we'llannounce it, send out a link.

SPEAKER_03 (35:03):
Absolutely, absolutely, Mike.
Mike says, let me know when thatgoes live.
Love to help push it out.
Yeah, it should be it should bea lot of fun.
And then uh we were gonna talkabout this last week, but you
know, Mike wasn't around.
But the the Ford Hadley uhfoundation uh or what is it?

(35:25):
Uh I might draw in a blank.
Uh auction for for uh golfcourses is coming up soon.
So what is Joe doing?

SPEAKER_02 (35:37):
Mike, when is what's the date whether that goes live?

SPEAKER_03 (35:41):
It's Black Friday.

SPEAKER_02 (35:42):
Black Friday, yeah.
Okay.
28th.
November 28th.

SPEAKER_03 (35:48):
Is he on he's on whatnot right now, isn't he?
Yeah, good heavens.
This guy's an addict.
Look at him.
He's Joe is is on whatnot rightnow.
He's a fiend, ladies andgentlemen.

(36:09):
He is a fiend.

SPEAKER_02 (36:10):
So goes live before Black Friday.

SPEAKER_03 (36:12):
Yeah, before Black Friday.

SPEAKER_02 (36:14):
But definitely watch for that.
I mean, we took advantage of itlast year and got uh a couple
courses in in uh Arizona knockedoff that were amazing, made an
awesome trip out of it.
But the all there's so manycourts.
I mean, if we could bid on everysingle one of them, I would have
loved to.

SPEAKER_03 (36:28):
There was so many that we could have tried to get,
but maybe Mike, need to reachout to some like Omaha Country
Club and anything else in thelandman area because we're going
back in May, right?
Yep, end of May.
Yeah, end of May.
So uh uh make sure that theyhave something that maybe we
could uh parlay that with whilewe're out there.

SPEAKER_02 (36:49):
Yeah, we need to start.
I've heard from like three orfour people that we need to try
and play Omaha Country Club.
So we need to start finding someconnection.

SPEAKER_03 (36:57):
November 25th.
Uh, it is a it is a fantasticauction.
It's for an amazing cause.
Mike, type in the chat how muchyou guys um raised last year.
It was a stupid amount.
Um, but a lot of the golfcourses donate.
A lot of members at privateclubs donate, you know, come

(37:18):
play golf with me and three ofyour buddies.
Um, there's so many greattracks.
Uh, there's a lot of Vegastracks too.
We get some of the courses outhere that are on there.
Um, but you know, we played uhthe Rim and Chaparrell Pines and
Payson.
Uh 102,000 is what they raisedlast year.

SPEAKER_02 (37:36):
That's that's incredible.

SPEAKER_03 (37:38):
It's amazing for the golf community to be able to do
stuff like that.
So in total, they've raised over700,000 in eight years.
Well, shit, let's get that to uha million this year, right?
Let's have a$300,000 a year.
That would be just stupid good.
Yeah, I can't wait to see what'son there.

(38:00):
How long are you gonna do thisfor, Joe?
This guy, he's he's cheating onus live.
Like we're not we're not goodenough.

SPEAKER_00 (38:08):
I am trying to bring people to the show, man.
That's what I'm doing.
I'm trying to be people to theshow.
I was live, I was going, I wentlive on whatnot.
I was giving like free shit, anduh I'm trying to bring people
over, bro.
That's my main goal.
Okay, bring people to the show.
But you have to be here on theshow.

(38:30):
Okay, well, look, we went fromfive to nine.
We went for shout out to all thefour people that came over.

SPEAKER_03 (38:39):
Oh, bayonet on my island should be.

SPEAKER_00 (38:45):
Golf is the best.

SPEAKER_01 (38:46):
Hey, there he is.

SPEAKER_03 (38:47):
See, whatnot is the reason I realize I was missing
the show.

SPEAKER_01 (38:51):
Exactly, exactly.
Thank you.
Thank you.
Sanchez in the house.
Let's go.
Sanchez in the house.

SPEAKER_03 (38:59):
Sanchez in the house.
Oh, he was watching whatnot.
Doesn't doesn't follow the show, but he watches on whatnot, hops
on when Joe's on there.

SPEAKER_00 (39:07):
That's guys, you can miss whatnot for an hour, but
the main the main thing is islike you don't have to tune in
live.
We appreciate you tuning inlive, but make sure you listen
on your way to work tomorrow ortomorrow afternoon on your way
home.

SPEAKER_03 (39:22):
I gotta get a whatnot logo and put up in here
in the corner like this.

SPEAKER_02 (39:25):
Joe is live on whatnot.

SPEAKER_03 (39:27):
Live on whatnot right now, then I'll just have
it flash in my game.
Yeah.
Whatnot.
Joe's not engaging the showright now because he's on
whatnot.

SPEAKER_01 (39:37):
Yeah, I dude.
I gave I gave some free shitaway.
I gave some free shit away.

SPEAKER_03 (39:41):
Nice.
Well, Adrian, thank you forbeing here.
No, there's a little bit ofdelay.

SPEAKER_00 (39:45):
You'll see this in a second, but that's Nori, right?
Nori.
Yes.
Noriega.
I'm trying to, I'm trying tofigure out, I'm trying to
remember names.
It's hard.

SPEAKER_03 (39:57):
Well, you you talk to so many people, I can see how
it can get that way.

SPEAKER_00 (40:01):
Yeah, I know.
Well, you're hiding, you're on ascreen name, and then you're
you're hiding you're on a screenname, and then trying to
remember people's real names istough.
Like Dan, I know Dan is gotpaint.
Go follow got paint, you know.
So it's like it's a lot to keepup with, but man, it's fucking
fun.
It really is.

SPEAKER_03 (40:21):
Yeah, we have to figure out some way to have
people.

SPEAKER_00 (40:24):
Well, maybe dude, if YouTube weren't allowed, but if
we could tap in to like get theaudio in and run shit live, that
would be sick.
Might have to think about that.

SPEAKER_03 (40:37):
Yeah, we can we should be able to share a screen
and do it.

SPEAKER_00 (40:44):
Yeah, yeah, that's true.
I think that would be great.
That would be crazy.

SPEAKER_03 (40:48):
You could do it on your laptop and open up a show
on your laptop, and then wecould share that screen.

SPEAKER_00 (40:53):
Nobody has anybody ever done that?

SPEAKER_03 (40:56):
I don't know.

SPEAKER_00 (40:57):
I mean, I don't think so.
I don't know.
But I think it'd be I think itwould be fun.

SPEAKER_01 (41:03):
Uh-oh.
I know.

SPEAKER_00 (41:05):
Mike, you tell you you sent it to me.
I know.
Send them over.
Send him over.
There we go.

SPEAKER_03 (41:13):
Going to legacy on Friday.

SPEAKER_00 (41:16):
Good.
Yeah, it's looking primo.

SPEAKER_03 (41:19):
Did you watch the video, Adrian?
That was uh it's it's prettydamn good right now, and it's
only gonna get better.
That course, the end of October, first week of November, is gonna
be it's gonna bring back somememories for a lot of people.

SPEAKER_00 (41:32):
Also, Tiger played in the um amateur scene back in
the day.
There, yeah, it was a qualifier.
Did he really back in the day?
Yeah, it was a qualifier back inthe day.
Yeah, wow.

SPEAKER_03 (41:46):
Ah, right.
See that?
Let's go.
Thanks why I'm going.
Hey, when you get there and youcheck in, say the only reason
I'm here because of ChasingDaylight Podcast video.
Yeah, that'll help give us someclout.
Uh first time playing.

SPEAKER_00 (42:03):
Well, you're it's a fun course, very fun.

SPEAKER_03 (42:06):
It is fun, it is very fun, and we talk about this
all the time.
And I I hope people understandwhen we say this because it gets
a lot of credit for having afantastic routing.
And and if you're not sure whatqualifies something for a
fantastic routing, you'll findout when you play it.

SPEAKER_00 (42:25):
Uh, it's yeah, well, except except like after nine.
After nine, it like breaks upfor a second, but then you're
back on it.

SPEAKER_03 (42:33):
Yeah, yeah.
Well, they got the separation.
You gotta get that that northside of Green Valley Parkway or
the west side of Green ValleyParkway.

SPEAKER_00 (42:40):
Adrian's gonna play the the devil's triangle.
Yeah, yeah, let's go.
About to play the devil'striangle.

SPEAKER_03 (42:46):
11 12 13 is is a fun little fun little set.

SPEAKER_01 (42:51):
Oh wolf creek fantastic.
Get out of here, bro.
Get out of here.

SPEAKER_03 (42:55):
Come on, you still got some fog in your head from
golfing in the clouds commentlike that.

SPEAKER_00 (43:02):
Wolf Creek is just like it's an experience, it's
not a route, it's not afantastic routing, it's not,
it's an experience.
Okay, yeah, that's all it is.

SPEAKER_02 (43:13):
Yeah, you'll be in awe.
Every hole is just like, wow, like, how did they do this?

SPEAKER_01 (43:18):
How do they do this?

SPEAKER_02 (43:21):
Speaking of how do they do this?
How about the latest stuff fromJeff?
Uh what's the I forgot his lastname.
Mars.
Rodeo Dunes, yeah.
Yeah, wow.

SPEAKER_03 (43:31):
Jeff Marsh was out there just killing it.

SPEAKER_00 (43:33):
Mike, when you get your invite to Rodeo Dunes, you
better invite us, is all I'msaying, because you're gonna get
one.

SPEAKER_03 (43:41):
About to take some holy water.

SPEAKER_00 (43:45):
Yeah, yeah.

SPEAKER_03 (43:46):
There you go.
Yeah, it holds 11, 12, and 13.
It's called the Devil'sTriangle.

SPEAKER_00 (43:50):
Uh Adrian, also, if you got it, also, if anybody
ever plays in Vegas, you can hitus up, and if we're available to
play with you, we will do ourbest to play with you.

SPEAKER_03 (44:01):
Absolutely.
Anytime we love playing withpeople, all right.

SPEAKER_00 (44:04):
Anytime.

SPEAKER_03 (44:06):
There was an intro round last year.
Did we miss that?

SPEAKER_00 (44:13):
No, that this was the intro round.
What they did this weekend wasfor the I know, but he said that
birdie and a kin in the house.
Let's go.

SPEAKER_03 (44:23):
Read the screen.
He said they had an intro roundin the auction last year.
Said we missed that.

SPEAKER_00 (44:27):
Oh, oh, to purchase for this year.
Okay, yeah.

SPEAKER_03 (44:30):
Rode Junes had two foresomes last year in the
auction.

SPEAKER_00 (44:33):
Damn, you y'all better follow beautiful golf
courses.
Get in early.

SPEAKER_03 (44:40):
Hello, Mr.
Kevin Cox.

SPEAKER_00 (44:42):
Quick trip, quick trip from Vegas, too.

SPEAKER_03 (44:46):
Hey, 35 minutes from the Denver airport, and it's not
through the city, it's on theoutskirts.

SPEAKER_00 (44:51):
So and they have five, they have enough room for
five more golf courses.

SPEAKER_03 (44:56):
All that land out there, they could put 20 golf
courses.
Good lord.

SPEAKER_00 (45:01):
I want to go so bad, but it's like, do I wait for do
we wait for like th two more toopen?

SPEAKER_02 (45:10):
I think we try the first one.
It's fine, and then go backagain.

SPEAKER_03 (45:13):
Yeah, it's it's not like it's you know, this is one
of the I think the most hyped upcourses to open up that is not
like super crazy hard to get to.

SPEAKER_00 (45:27):
How is it the fourth hole?
That fourth hole.
I don't know.
There's so many that'sincredible.
Oh yeah.
Horseshoe green.
Yep.

SPEAKER_02 (45:41):
With that little hill in the middle of it.

SPEAKER_00 (45:44):
Yeah, it dude.
We stopped by when we went towhen we went to Nebraska on our
way to the Colorado airport.
We stopped by and we were tryingto go in and see.

SPEAKER_03 (45:55):
There's just no signage.

SPEAKER_02 (45:58):
I think it's so far off that road, too.
That's it.
I think it's pretty deep.
I think you could see someconstruction equipment like out
in the distance, but because Iwas looking at a lot of the
aerials just trying to find thatthat awful gas station.

SPEAKER_03 (46:12):
I couldn't see it anywhere.
So that guy's about to get paid.

SPEAKER_00 (46:18):
Yes, absolutely.
He's gonna get paid.
Well, when when we went in, wewere like, uh, where's the golf
course?
He's like, right behind us,right behind us.
He was stoked, dude.

SPEAKER_03 (46:28):
Uh yeah.
We need to get the bathroomfixed, though.
No, bathroom, no broke.
Oh good, no bathroom.

SPEAKER_00 (46:35):
Yeah, yeah.

SPEAKER_03 (46:38):
Anybody else got anything else?

SPEAKER_00 (46:40):
Questions in the chat.
Chat.
Any questions, any golfquestions?
Shoot them out.
I'm very excited for uh I didn'ttell my wife abandoned.
I was talking to uh I wastalking to the homie, uh, the
greenskeeper at Sheep Ranch, andhe was telling me I was like,

(47:02):
hey, we're coming back.
So we might get some specialtreatment at Sheep.
Ooh, we might have to see if wecan get on Sheep.
I know, yeah, exactly.
He could probably help.

SPEAKER_03 (47:13):
What kind of special treatment?

SPEAKER_00 (47:16):
I don't know.
Free free pastrami burritos.
I don't know.
Ooh.
I'm just saying that'd be nice.

SPEAKER_03 (47:23):
Yeah, I can't.

SPEAKER_02 (47:26):
The thing that sucks about booking Bandon is it's
always so far away.

SPEAKER_03 (47:31):
Oh, there's a great question.
Throw that one on the I'm toofar away from my computer right
now.

SPEAKER_00 (47:36):
He's too he dude, he's too company, man.
There you go.
Actually, where can I go?
Reach out to do a fitting.
Need to fit low irons and woods.

SPEAKER_03 (47:47):
Uh so as a callaway fitter, I will tell you how you
can do a callaway fitting.
So on the on the Callawaywebsite, on the top top bar,
there's something that saysfittings.
You click on that tab, you clickon fitting events, and you can
type in your zip code, and it'llshow you all the fitting events
in the area.

(48:07):
You can schedule a time, doesnot cost anything to come do
that, and we can take care ofthat for you.

SPEAKER_00 (48:13):
There you go.
From the man himself works forCallaway, legend.
New clubs built.

SPEAKER_02 (48:21):
Yeah, his new clubs are built, and they're working.

SPEAKER_03 (48:24):
Oh, yeah.
Oh, yeah.
Last week, I uh Jeremy canattest.
Jeremy saw it live with his owneyes.
I did.
Uh, my iron game is back.
It's back.

SPEAKER_02 (48:37):
Never seen, I've never seen you hit it that high.

SPEAKER_03 (48:39):
It's crazy.
It was incredible.
I I never realized how bad thoseshafts I was playing were for me
until I started hitting theserecoils uh in a 70 gram stiff.
It's because they're made forseniors.
Uh no, they're not made forseniors, they're made to hit the

(49:00):
ball high and long.
And man, I I've it it was a itit was exciting.
It was exciting to see the ballgoing high and like sticking on
the green versus coming in lowand running through, if you
will.
What's that?

SPEAKER_00 (49:17):
Hitting greens, if you will.

SPEAKER_03 (49:18):
Hitting greens, and I hit a lot of greens,
definitely hitting greens.
Yeah, I had some shots out ofthe rough that never would have
had a chance to sniff the greenthat I stuck to close.

SPEAKER_02 (49:31):
So do they feel super light to you?
Because 70 grams is hella lightfor iron.
Super light.
I was like 50 grams lighter thanmy shafts.

SPEAKER_03 (49:41):
When Julian suggested it, I was like, okay,
I know I'm getting old and Idon't swing it like you know uh
a young buck, but are you sure?
And he's like, Hey, let's justmess with it and see.

SPEAKER_00 (49:53):
I'm like, all right, it's like hey, hey, you're old,
might as well try it.

SPEAKER_03 (49:57):
But in order to get a shaft that has that low kick
point and high launch, it it hasto be a lighter shaft because
stiffer, heavier shafts justaren't gonna present that type
of performance for you.
Um so I mean it's it's still astiff flex, you know.
Um, it's just it's just light, and that's one of the benefits
of graphite nowadays is you canget that light shaft to you know

(50:21):
perform the way you want it to.
It doesn't feel light to me atall.
It feels natural, it feels youknow, and and I was talking
about this with Greenlee becauseI was telling him I said that
you know, my path has changed.
I'm I'm hitting the ball intoout, and uh a lot more of my
path is you know, it's gone fromyou know one degree across to

(50:42):
three degrees into out.
And he says, Well, the shaftdidn't change that, you know,
the the weight of the shaft morethan likely helped you instead
of I'm instead of tugging on it,you know, I'm letting it fall
in.
There's a lot a lot more so 70grams is the Lord's weight.
That's what I fit Jordy to.

SPEAKER_00 (51:02):
So uh I guess one of the interesting things is like
you see you see these shafts, and it's like everything is
different for everybody.
Matt never would have thoughtabout even ever doing that.
He never would have thoughtabout doing that.

SPEAKER_03 (51:22):
And that's the benefit of tinkering, you know.
Yeah, I'm fortunate that youknow I I play the irons that we
fit to, and so I can take thathead, and and we've got 30
different shafts.

SPEAKER_00 (51:36):
You're also able to like build your own clubs too,
so that's also a benefit.
Oh, that helps big time, bigtime.

SPEAKER_03 (51:44):
So and we got some some updates from Mike on this.
Just found the archive auction.
One accompanied threesome andone foresome at rodeo went for a
pretty penny, both donated byfounding board members, probably
back this year as well.
That uh threesome was around2200, foresome closer to three

(52:04):
grand.
So yeah.

SPEAKER_00 (52:07):
But special, special, well well spent.
Well spent for sure.
Hey, they got an experience,man.
Yeah, do you have anyrecommendation on learning club
building?
Shout out Birdie and the can,Kevin Cox.
Let's go.

SPEAKER_03 (52:23):
Uh start start with a shaft extractor.
Um uh doing grips is easy.
Grips is not an issuewhatsoever, but uh you can find
a swing weight scale uh reallycheap on eBay.
Uh it doesn't have to bedigital.
Um the old slide ones work justas just as good and probably are

(52:46):
a little bit more accuratebecause they don't rely on
electronics.
Um, but uh you can get a simpleshaft extractor that works in a
vice and uh not go crazyexpensive.
Uh I mean the more you pay, thebetter or easier it is.
You know, the one I have, Ithink I paid$600 for it and it's

(53:07):
it's fantastic.
Um, but I started with one thatwas probably 60 bucks on eBay.
Um that was atrocious to use,but it it got me the
understanding of of the epoxyand how to break it free.
And you know, it's super easy topull a head to part if they're
on steel shafts.

(53:28):
Um, but that and then just justmess with it.
Just mess with it and learn.
I covet is what got me startedin it.
You know, I was uh I went toGolf Galaxy to get some clubs
regripped and they told me it'sgonna be two weeks.
I was like, nope, nope, toolong.
Nope.
And uh so I started uh theBreakfast Ball LLC and and uh

(53:51):
started building my shop.

SPEAKER_00 (53:53):
I think I think that's one of those things
though, also is like understandshafts.
Not all shafts, like becauseit's a stiff or regular or extra
stiff, they're not all the same, they don't all work the same.
Understand torque, kick points, all that heavy in the in the tip
or the butt or whatever it is.
You gotta dive deep into what itis, and then you can build your

(54:18):
own clubs, or you'll have morerecognition of what you need,
you'll understand more of whatyou need if you understand your
swing, tempo, all that shit.
And it's just it's a it's aguessing game, always with golf,
right?
It's always a fucking guessinggame, yeah.

SPEAKER_03 (54:37):
And just just because one person, yeah, just
because one person plays thisshaft doesn't mean that
everybody should play thatshaft.
Yeah, um, Greenley had a greatvideo where he was talking the
other day, you know, if yourfitter is fitting you based off
club head speed, run.

SPEAKER_00 (54:51):
Yeah, leave, leave.

SPEAKER_03 (54:53):
Yeah, because that's not that's not a great way to
fit somebody.
Now you can use theirinformation to help, you know,
try different profiles out.
Oh, yeah, YouTube's wait RyanBarath on uh legend.
And that guy helped me out somuch because I just sent him

(55:14):
messages because I didn't, youknow, I didn't want to spend 140
bucks on a measuring ruler.
Um, and so he has ado-it-yourself YouTube channel
where he can show you how tocreate a proper how to measure
clubs um with a couple pieces ofwood.
It's it's incredible.
And that I mean, that's how Igot started.

SPEAKER_02 (55:34):
Yeah, it's pretty wild, man.
Just be careful, Kevin.
Man, you're gonna get you'regonna be out in the garage
constantly tweaking your clubs, building new ones, taking the
old ones apart, Frankensteinclubs, and then you'll have a
crazy box of shafts.

SPEAKER_03 (55:51):
I have I have so many shafts that you can sell on
whatnot.

SPEAKER_00 (55:55):
Yeah, that you need to put into club heads I've
given you.

SPEAKER_03 (55:59):
Yeah, I'll I'll do that when the the ball markers,
the bigger chasing daylightpodcast ball markers get here.
No, but that's the thing, islike you changed the subject
real quick, didn't you?

SPEAKER_00 (56:14):
Yeah, I haven't ordered them yet.

SPEAKER_03 (56:16):
Yeah, but you got my money.

SPEAKER_00 (56:18):
Yep, I spent it on bean bean burritos.
I spent it on bean burritos.

SPEAKER_03 (56:25):
Matt's gonna forget about this.

SPEAKER_00 (56:28):
No, the uh I have some hit and greens ones queued
to also, so after the 5k show, they'll be ordered.
This guy.

SPEAKER_03 (56:40):
I think three months.
I'm like, sweet, it's been threeand a half, I still haven't seen
them.

SPEAKER_00 (56:45):
Yeah, I got a lot of money into this 5k show.

SPEAKER_03 (56:49):
Worth it.
What's what's worth it?
Did I miss something, Adrian?
I'm sorry.

SPEAKER_00 (56:52):
Worth it, uh getting fit.
No, I think he's talking aboutbean and cheeses.
Bean and cheese, yeah.
Bean and cheese burritos aredefinitely worth it.
Totally worth it.
Every penny.

SPEAKER_03 (57:01):
I have to go get one tomorrow.

SPEAKER_00 (57:02):
I'm craving it.
Craving it.
I had one yesterday and it wasit was interesting.
Very interesting.

SPEAKER_03 (57:09):
Something I we didn't talk about.
I don't know if I mentioned itlast week too, but I got a new
driver shaft as well.
Um, I I put the Ventus red TR.
Okay, good.
It was the burritos.
Yeah, bean and cheese.
And that held my driving somuch.
Um it it is it's a very accuratedriver for me.

(57:31):
It's exactly what I want in myflight.
And uh yeah, so I'm pretty I'mpretty excited for this weekend.
Pretty excited for this weekend.

SPEAKER_00 (57:42):
I'm interested in Legacy.
I can't wait.
I uh you know I love Legacy.
I do too.
I always play well at Legacytoo.
I'll probably fuck it up, butLegus Golf Network.
I get to play Rocky.
I'm stoked.
Hopefully I can talk Rocky intocoming over for the show.

SPEAKER_03 (58:03):

SPEAKER_00 (58:04):

SPEAKER_03 (58:08):
There you go.

SPEAKER_00 (58:12):

SPEAKER_00 (58:24):

where everybody's t-shot ends upon that hole.

SPEAKER_00 (01:02:09):
I did not see that one.

SPEAKER_03 (01:02:11):
