whatnot coming to Vegas soon.
SPEAKER_01 (01:50):
Just may just cost
you 20 bucks, so be careful.
SPEAKER_03 (01:53):
Yeah, yeah.
Throw 20 between your ID andyour credit card and just be
very cordial and nice to thereservation person at the front
desk.
It'll cost you 20 bucks, but uh,you know, we had we got a
fucking full-on suite upgrade.
I mean, it was bigger than ourfirst uh our first apartment
(02:15):
that we had.
It was huge.
It looked crazy.
SPEAKER_01 (02:19):
Yeah, it looked
massive.
SPEAKER_03 (02:21):
It was huge, it was
huge.
SPEAKER_01 (02:22):
So yeah, we want a
bunch of black chips at the
table.
SPEAKER_03 (02:25):
So exactly Vegas Pro
tip.
I mean, it doesn't have to be a20, throw a five, a 10.
I mean, the more you give, probably the better it's gonna
be.
But I always throw a 20, youknow.
20 is fair.
Those guys don't get tipped.
The front desk does not gettipped, they don't work on tips,
so uh, if they're it's notpromised every time, but if if
(02:47):
it's available, they're gonnagive it to you.
Shout out, Bertie, in a can inthe house.
Let's go.
But yeah, it was good, it wasgood.
Uh living on the strip uh for anight was wild.
I haven't been to the strip in along time.
SPEAKER_01 (03:00):
And did you guys go
out and walk the street at all?
SPEAKER_03 (03:03):
A little bit.
We went over to Caesars Palace, ate at Stanton's Social Prime,
which was excellent.
Really server sucked, but thefood was really good.
Um, you know, when you throw inyour reservation and you say
anniversary, and they're like atthe front desk, they're like,
Hey, happy anniversary.
And then the server they didn'ttell the server, and he's just
kind of like a dick for a while, and then he realizes at the end,
(03:23):
he's like, Oh, I I get I got yousomething, you know, the entire
it was one of those, yeah.
So uh he caught up at the end,but uh really cool little place.
Uh it was our seventh yearanniversary.
We uh KD was throwing downchips, we did digital roulette
(03:44):
chips on the seven, won a coupletimes on there.
I always bet 23 on roulette, Iknew it was coming, and at the
end of it, 23 hit because Ialways bet the Jordan, always.
Um but it hit, so uh we walkedaway up for gambling wise.
SPEAKER_00 (04:01):
Nice.
SPEAKER_03 (04:02):
Um Flamingo Hilton
and down Link, and everything
has changed.
I haven't been there in a longtime.
Wild, isn't it?
It's crazy.
I I was a part of a uh streetshow, I was part of a street
show, and uh yeah, it was cool.
Liquid death, show liquid death.
Tag liquid death, let's get tosponsorship.
SPEAKER_01 (04:22):
We all love liquid
death, yeah.
Dude, it was so funny.
I I didn't know how big LiquidDeath was.
I I had no idea, and so I taggedhim in that one post saying we
need to talk.
They look, they've got seven anda half million followers.
Like, holy shit, that's nothappening.
I don't know, yeah, that wouldbe nice.
(04:44):
It is a it is a very tastyberries.
It's very good, though.
Got some killer cola today, anduh got three different variants
of the tea.
SPEAKER_03 (04:54):
So I like to have
this in the fridge.
SPEAKER_01 (05:00):
So uh no golf for
Joe this past week.
What it uh the last week youwere depressed, said it'd been
three weeks, it'd been eightdays.
SPEAKER_03 (05:08):
We're on day 26.
SPEAKER_01 (05:10):
Yeah, it's been a
while for you.

SPEAKER_03 (05:16):
Sunday, uh no, I
don't think so.
But I am gonna play Tuesday.
The golf homie is in town.
Uh, me and Dan are gonna play.
I'm off next week, so um I'mavailable except Tuesday
currently.
Um uh preferably around 9, 9:30time.
I'm in.
Hit me up on Instagram.
(05:36):

Well, the his golf homie, JP.
He knows Dan.
And his his co-workers comingtoo.
So um, but nice.
SPEAKER_01 (05:52):

SPEAKER_03 (05:54):
Uh, we are doing
Boulder Creek.

But I'm open Monday, Wednesday,Thursday, Friday, 9 to 10 tea
time.
Let's go.
Hit me up.
I'll play every day.
I gotta get dialed in for theVGM finals because I am not
playing good golf currently.
(06:14):
It's been too long.
I'm so tight.
Like my muscles are a fuckingrubber band.
SPEAKER_01 (06:22):
You know, Sienna
this Friday, 8:36.
There you go.
Oh, it's next week you're off.
SPEAKER_03 (06:27):
Next Friday, next,
next Friday, next, next third,
next week.
Next week, I'm gonna take allnext week off.
Hey, I mean, I mean I might evenbe down for rain session, cloud
nine.
I don't know, North Las Vegaspart three.
I gotta get some swings inbecause uh your boy has not been
swinging it very often.
And uh the VGN finals, we needto we need to we need to secure
(06:48):
some wins and walk away up.
SPEAKER_01 (06:51):
Yeah, the VGN finals
has turned into a shit show.
Uh I I don't know.
We're the the board meeting isgonna be a good one this year.
I can't wait.
It's gonna be a good one.
Yeah, the we started off with60, we're down to 50, maybe 48
by the time the show is over.
SPEAKER_03 (07:10):
So we just need more
people to move to Vegas and join
Vegas Golf Network.
SPEAKER_01 (07:15):
Well, I think we
just need more people that need
to understand that you'replaying for a season-long you
know, title to try and get intothe VGN finals.
It's and you also cannot pleaseeverybody.
No, you can't please everybody.
And you know, this is the firstyear that we've had it up to 60.
It it had been 40.
SPEAKER_03 (07:35):
So that's why the
government shut down.
Yeah.
SPEAKER_01 (07:40):
Can't please
everybody.
Can't please everybody.
So I don't know, we'll see.
I I got some ideas that uh wemay change some things up uh
next year and uh get rid of theseason-long point system and
just just have flights and uh bethe the finals be an invite
only.
You know, not earned on points, but earned on uh how you played,
(08:04):
how many times you played, stufflike that.
You know, give the people thatwant to be there an opportunity
versus those that don't.
SPEAKER_03 (08:13):
Yeah, I mean, I
think I mean I get that.
SPEAKER_01 (08:16):
I mean it's I I get
it.
It's tough.
You know, we everybody's gotlives, everybody's got plans,
everybody's got things going on,shit happens.
That's true, yeah.
You know, it it's and I expectthat.
I expect that.
So you know I mean can't be toocan't be too upset.
SPEAKER_03 (08:30):
Getting getting that
many people together on a on a
designated day to play golf in atournament.
And this is a two-day error, soit's exactly it's a two-day
error.
I mean, it's hard enough to getus four together every single
Tuesday night at a certain time, you know.
SPEAKER_01 (08:45):
So we're looking to
join you next year.
Awesome.
SPEAKER_03 (08:49):
Jump, come on out.
SPEAKER_01 (08:50):
Yeah, come on,
Adrian.
And we need some sticks, we needsome sticks.
Dan is getting tired of winning.
Everybody else is getting tiredof committing.
Um everybody else is gettingtired of Dan winning.
SPEAKER_03 (09:06):
Uh, and you have
probably so many gift cards.
What I found out, which I'vebeen doing with all my gift
cards, I've been uploading theminto my Apple Pay.
Yeah, just use them as Apple Paynow until they run out.
SPEAKER_01 (09:19):
Yeah, yeah.
That's a perk of the video.
SPEAKER_03 (09:23):
I found I found one
in my cart and one in my wallet
today.
It had 196 bucks on it.
It's like I didn't even know Ihad a hundred and ninety-six
dollar gift card in my wallet.
SPEAKER_01 (09:31):
You could have put
that towards your entry fee
that's due Friday.
SPEAKER_03 (09:34):
So uh no, because
you can't split payments on golf
genius, but I can I mean I couldVenmo it to you if I upload it
there.
SPEAKER_01 (09:42):
Yes, you can.
SPEAKER_03 (09:42):
Or I can buy I can
buy Nike Irons and trade you.
I have some.
SPEAKER_01 (09:53):
Uh no, I I have
yeah, I went to I was so
excited.
I I had that old UST um uh shaftthat I was gonna put in that,
but it's too short.
Like, oh, it's too short.
It's it's like the the length ofa a six of four or of like a
five iron, not put in what uhthree iron, one of those what
(10:15):
Joe shows in is it what Joe justshowed that Nike three.
SPEAKER_03 (10:19):
No, I have a volt
one that you still have for me.
I still need a shaft for.
You have my green volt Nikethree iron.
SPEAKER_01 (10:25):
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
SPEAKER_03 (10:26):
Yeah, so I I mean I
just I just don't have a 370
shaft that's three iron procombo three iron.
I have like four of these.
I have like one my light out.
Yeah, I have like three of theseslingshot three iron.
Nobody can see that, Joe.
SPEAKER_00 (10:43):
Motherfucker, dude.
SPEAKER_01 (10:44):
Keep on telling you,
you you you need a light, you
need to get the proper light,Joe.
Dan's getting ready to get busy.
We're creating a mood aroundhere.
We're we're moody.
SPEAKER_05 (10:54):
My furniture's
coming.
SPEAKER_01 (10:55):
Dan is getting ready
to steal the show here and like
finally bring bring some heat.
SPEAKER_05 (11:01):
All this all this
plainness is gonna be gone.
I'm actually gonna have likegolfing in a phoning in from the
dungeon.
SPEAKER_03 (11:09):
There you go.
Better, better, better, better.
SPEAKER_01 (11:11):
Oh, hey, is that a
golf club in your hand?
SPEAKER_03 (11:14):
It's right here.
I you know, I had I I'm justtrying to curate moods, trying
to get it vibey up in here, youknow what I mean?
Yeah, but you're trying to showsomething, so it's yeah, this
guy.
Yeah, pro this is a sandwich.
I have so much shit.
SPEAKER_05 (11:29):
Is that all from
take five?
Is that that Nike black?
SPEAKER_03 (11:32):
Uh yeah, these are
from Take Five.
Um, yeah, um, which one?
I got that.
Oh shit.
SPEAKER_05 (11:38):
I can see Joe.
SPEAKER_01 (11:40):
Yeah, look at that.
SPEAKER_03 (11:41):
This is super cleany
boys, cleany boys, cleany boys.
I have like four of these I needshafts for.
Ah, and then these guys.
SPEAKER_05 (11:54):
Chunky boys, chunky
boys, slingshots were awesome.
SPEAKER_03 (11:57):
Those things I got
fucking three or four of these,
dude.
SPEAKER_05 (12:00):
Oh, dude, you put an
X100 in that thing and just
launch it.
SPEAKER_03 (12:03):
This one's got the
like the gram sticker on it,
too.
Cleaning boys, but uh, I alsohave a shit ton of fairway
fairway wood cover uh heads, anduh yeah.
SPEAKER_01 (12:16):
Coming to a whatnot
show soon.
SPEAKER_03 (12:19):
Yeah, when when when
they're built, and we and then
we got ferrels, we got ferrilshere too.
So we're gonna have cool feralson them too.
When do we get there?
When do we get there?
SPEAKER_01 (12:27):
What feral did you
get?
SPEAKER_03 (12:29):
Well, I still have
all these albatross ferrels.
Shout out albatross ferrels.
SPEAKER_01 (12:34):
Nice.
SPEAKER_03 (12:35):
I got all those.
I still have these that I gottathrow on the Mizunos.
Are these the ones?
I got these BB and F codes thatI gotta throw on the yeah, these
ones for my Mazunos that I'mstacking away trying to trying
to create some uh oh, veryHalloweeny influencer,
influencer with the hand behindit.
(12:55):
Let's go.
I got Ben Hogan, dude.
I I got so too much shit.
Uh John Perez, whatnot isbecoming a joke.
Uh oh, hot taste.
Oh, uh oh.
Careful, careful.
I can see where you're comingfrom with that.
What's your point though?
Why, why so?
But I I get it.
SPEAKER_05 (13:15):
Yeah, there's
there's a lot of people on the
buying side, on the sellingside, like honestly.
SPEAKER_03 (13:21):
Hey, you know, we
rep other podcasts, and uh, you
know, you have way more hours inyour week than just listening to
Chasen Alabama podcast.
Go listen to um Three Off the T,Four Wright, Uncle Church, and
Smoky's podcast.
They've been around on whatnotfor a long time, and they give
insights into selling onwhatnot, how they started.
(13:43):
And uh I agree with a lot ofstuff that they're saying.
Um but yeah.
And they're giving away a ScottyButter, too.
The podcast for listening to thepodcast, for commenting,
subscribing, and liking.
Yeah, and it's being announcedtomorrow.
SPEAKER_01 (13:59):
So yeah, there it
is.
Nothing but a gambling site,nothing but sixty-dollar
sleeves,$70 bags of teas, etc.
SPEAKER_03 (14:06):
Yeah, you're gonna
you gotta, I mean, you gotta
find the yeah, gotta find thesellers that are selling.
SPEAKER_01 (14:11):
I I agree, I agree
with you there, John, for sure.
That's a lot of horse shit.
Yep.
And that was one of my commentsis how sustainable is that for
how long?
SPEAKER_03 (14:21):
No, I and I think a
lot of those guys are not gonna
last that long.
Yeah, you know.
Um so it's you gotta offer onething they talked about on that
podcast three out the tea, waslike creating a brand.
And I was on late night withGott Paint, who is in the chat
still, I believe, and I wastalking about I've had hit and
(14:44):
greens for five or six yearsbefore I even got on there, and
I was like, I'm thankful thatHit and Greens has been around
and the podcast as well.
Like, podcast is a brand, hitand greens is a brand, and uh
also Vegas Golf Network.
So it's like thankful to havethat before even doing it.
But a lot of people jump inthere thinking there's this
(15:04):
lucrative market, you know, andyou're gonna sell sixty, seventy
dollar sleeves every time.
If you give away Scotty, you'regonna sell 30, 70, and
everybody's calculating it intheir head, you're gonna make
2300 bucks and you bought a$500Scotty, and that's just not how
it works.
You have to build a you have tofirst of all, you have to build
a following, you have to belikable, and you have people
(15:25):
have to trust you that you'regonna deliver their packages and
you have to deliver good stuffand uh be likable, really, like
and deliver.
Yeah, be likeable, deliver.
SPEAKER_01 (15:37):
I know I when I
first started watching a lot of
whatnot, there wasn't a ton ofpeople doing that.
Yeah, right.
And now it seems like that's allpeople do.
SPEAKER_05 (15:56):
Yeah, the whole
cleany boys thing just gets it.
SPEAKER_03 (16:00):
Uh and that's what I
that's what I love about it, is
like it gives people theopportunity to like engage and
be themselves.
Like cleany boys, like for us isso fucking funny because I never
would have said that, you know, and I was put on the spot on
that show on whatnot, and it's aterm that is fucking hilarious
(16:21):
now because I just said it onenight and it's it's stuck, it's
fucking funny, dude.
SPEAKER_05 (16:27):
Oh, it's fucking
hilarious.
SPEAKER_03 (16:28):
Cleany boys, cleany
boys.
But yeah, yeah.
SPEAKER_01 (16:37):
Yeah, it's I was uh
it's kind of disheartening now,
though, when you turn it on,because I used to be able to,
you know, doom scroll on whatnotand watch shows and watch shows,
and now it's it's like you know,here's here's a chrome or uh,
you know, super soft sleeve, uh$35 gets you in the buyers.
SPEAKER_03 (16:54):
You know, it's like
it's definitely very gambling,
like yeah.
SPEAKER_01 (16:58):
You know, it's just
that that's that's not
entertaining to me, and that'sthat side of whatnot, I think,
is is kind of slipping away.
The entertaining factor, um, thethe characters.
I mean, you have to have apersonality.
Yeah, that's one of the reasonsI haven't done it, because
nobody's gonna sit around andwatch me talk because I I don't
(17:21):
I don't have a you know, I don'thave an amazing personality.
SPEAKER_03 (17:24):
It's tough enough as
it is on the podcast.
SPEAKER_01 (17:27):
Yeah, that's why I
have three other people here
with me.
You know, because it's it's it'snot easy, you know, it's not
easy, and I'm a bitter old man,and you know, I yeah, it's a
different different generationthat's out there.
SPEAKER_03 (17:44):
Yeah, I think I
mean, like I've obviously calmed
down a lot, a lot, a lot, a lot.
Like, uh, and you know, I I sayit all the time.
I support those that support me.
I'll jump in your show if I'mable to when I have time, or and
I'll I'll buy one of your shittyball markers every once in a
while, or you know, I'll I'll dowhatever I can, you know,
(18:05):
support those that support youis what I say all the time.
And uh thankful for everyone, but it's it's a lot of fun when
you find your groove in it, it'sa lot of fun, and uh you know
guys like tradition can't makeit because the whatnot customer
wants cheap towels.
No, yeah, I do yeah, he bringsquality in it.
(18:28):
That's the hard part, and that'syeah, that's the thing.
Like, it's a lot of new golfers, and that's why if you go back
into the Chase of Daylightpodcast archives, we are true
golfers, golf nerds, and we wantto teach you about the ways of
dope golf, right?
And that's that's one of my shshticks, if you will.
(18:49):
Like, I want to treat I want toteach you the dope shit.
Like, I'm not I don't want tosell you garbage.
And um so that's one of thosethings, man.
There's there's a lot to learnin in golf, and I don't even
know it at all.
There, like, there's a lot ofshit I don't know, but I I know
a good amount, and there'speople that know less than me or
us, and there's a lot of peoplethat know more than all of us
(19:10):
combined, so it's it's educationas much as teaching.
It's the same shit, but yeah,uh, you know what I'm saying.
Like, yep, a lot of people arenew to the game of golf, and um
I want to I want to teach themabout the dope ways of the game.
SPEAKER_01 (19:31):
Well, it's kind of
seemed like to me that it was a
great way for people that arenew to the game to grab some
gear and not get raped on it,you know.
And yeah, yeah, and then it thenit quickly turned into now those
people are are hooked on theapp, and now all it is is buy
this sleeve for 35 bucks and tryto win a Scotty, and you know,
(19:52):
it's like oh it's a Scotty, thishas got to be something
important.
So, okay, I'll throw in my 35bucks, blah blah blah.
And it's just it's taken awayfrom me uh a great opportunity
for people to you know get somegear or get some you know nice
stuff and not pay the crazy eBayfees.
SPEAKER_03 (20:13):
Here, here's the
thing I'll say got pain is 100
correct, and I'll throw this up.
If you're buying a sleeve for$35, it is on you 100%.
Don't be in that show, findsomething else, don't swipe on
that.
Okay, like if if you know theworth of it, if you want to a
chance to win something, then doit.
(20:35):
But that's it's entirely on you,yeah.
SPEAKER_01 (20:38):
And you can't
complain about it if you do it.
SPEAKER_03 (20:40):
You cannot complain,
it's on you.
You're the one.
Like, there was one time.
There's one time where I I'veheard all I've seen, all the
excuses.
My son swiped, my grandmadropped her teeth, you know, all
that shit.
There is one time where Theoactually I was putting him to
bed, and he actually swiped onsomething for me, and I won one
(21:03):
time.
And uh I wanna I want a putterthat was a little overpriced,
but you know, that's on me.
I was watching, I had the appopen, I was putting my son away
down for uh the night, and it'son me.
You're you're the one tuning in.
If you don't like what you'rewatching, watch someone else,
swipe responsibly.
(21:24):
Yeah, so here got paint.
Where uh where did got paint?
SPEAKER_05 (21:26):
At least it's got
good taste.
Was it nice butter?
SPEAKER_03 (21:29):
It was uh
Taylor-made rosa, really pretty
cleany boys.
Um, I still have it, it'll be ona show at some point.
Um, but Dan got paint is 100%right.
The way I see it, you win some, you lose some.
Absolutely 100% correct.
But whatnot is to me, is you'reinvesting in a community of
like-minded people.
(21:49):
I see that totally.
Um, and it's it's a way to it'sit's a way to connect.
SPEAKER_01 (21:55):
I see that with some
shows, not all the shows.
SPEAKER_03 (21:58):
No, yeah, exactly.
SPEAKER_01 (21:59):
The majority of the
shows I'm seeing right now are
spend 35 bucks on this, youknow, 10 cent trinket to try and
win a Scotty.
SPEAKER_03 (22:08):
There's a learning
curve.
SPEAKER_01 (22:09):
There's a learning
curve.
And it's just it's turned me offfrom the app, it's made me not
go on it as much.
You know, I I turn all mynotifications off except for
maybe three shows.
Um, and I just it's it's been alot more enjoyable not sitting
there, you know uh gettingfrustrated that oh, come on,
(22:30):
let's sell some stuff.
Let's not no, I yeah, I get it.
I'm tuning in this app because Iwant to see different products,
and you know, that's one of thereasons I enjoy Take Five so
much, is because it's justproduct after that.
SPEAKER_03 (22:43):
Yeah, and he's
bringing stuff you don't see all
of a sudden, yeah.
SPEAKER_01 (22:45):
And that that for me
is entertaining, you know.
SPEAKER_03 (22:49):
Uh yeah, and that's
another that's that's the thing.
You gotta find the people youlike to watch.
You don't have to dive intoevery show, you don't have to
buy something from everyone.
Um, like I enjoy Thrifty's poloshow because, like, you know,
logos from courses I hope toplay one day.
I'll never wear them because Idon't wear polos, I don't play,
but like the stuff you can seeon that app is is is really
(23:14):
cool, and you know, there'speople doing it right and
there's people doing it wrong, just like everything.
And there's people not fixingtheir ball marks to revere.
SPEAKER_01 (23:22):
Um, dude, you know
what as terrible as Aliante.
Oh my goodness.
SPEAKER_03 (23:27):
Aliante was bad with
the ball marks.
You gotta you find your people, you'll be fine.
You don't have to, you don'thave to buy every something from
everyone, you don't have towatch everyone's shows.
SPEAKER_01 (23:38):
This is true, this
is true.
Just find your people.
They're amazing people on there.
SPEAKER_03 (23:42):
That is true, and
that's just like the game of
golf.
SPEAKER_01 (23:45):
Yeah, so speaking of
Aliante, for those not aware,
Dan won again.
Um of the season, his 13th winoverall.
Um I didn't even look see howmuch money you won this year.
Did you I could probably bringit up here in a second.
I'll look and see.
(24:07):
But uh highest point total ever.
Uh most money won.
Uh just accolade after accoladeafter accolade.
SPEAKER_03 (24:16):
Dan's gonna be by a
Birkin.
SPEAKER_01 (24:18):
And no, no
disrespect to Dan, but we need
some more players in theDiamonds flight.
No disrespect to Jay, who's adamn good golfer as well.
But we need some more golfers togive some Dan some competition.
So this is a cry out to all youscratch or plus golfers out
(24:41):
there that like playingtournament golf, that don't want
to pay exorbitant entry fees formini tours and just want to play
some competitive golf.
Come to the VGN.
We we need you, we need you.
We started off really strongthis year, had a had a good
opportunity to have a lot ofguys in that flight, and slowly,
(25:01):
slowly, slowly, it just starteddwindling off.
And uh it sucks, but because Iwant you know, I want every we
have three events with 30 guysin the spades flight, which
that's that's awesome.
That's a that's a lot of guysyou have to beat.
You know, that's that's atournament for a lot of these
leagues around here.
(25:22):
Um, so having that many thatmany players in a flight, I
would love to see you know 20players in a flight across all
four flights.
I think if we could get you know80 guys a tournament, 20 in each
flight, it would just beincredible.
So Dan, congrats to you.
Hats off.
Thank you.
(25:42):
There's it's very, very unlikelythat you lose.
He's he's tired of winning.
He's yawning.
Well, he didn't get player ofthe year last year, so yeah.
SPEAKER_05 (25:53):
I didn't play much
last year, but uh Trey got that.
SPEAKER_01 (25:56):
So Trey's coming for
a back to back.
Vic is going for a back to back.
SPEAKER_03 (26:02):
Of course, Vic is.
SPEAKER_01 (26:04):
Uh uh Drop will be
going for a back to back.
SPEAKER_03 (26:08):
Um, so I'll be in
clubs next year, and then the
next year I'll be in arts atthis rate.
SPEAKER_01 (26:17):
Uh lowest flight is
the club's flight.
It's uh handicapped 16 uh to 25.
We cap it at 25.
25, cap.
Yeah, that's the max 25.
And we play off the low net, soyou're getting you know, the the
most strokes you'll get is offof 16.
So that's nine strokes.
That's the most that's the moststrokes you'll get in an event.
SPEAKER_03 (26:40):
Nori, there's four
flights.
There is no strokes, and thenclubs, which is what that's uh
low low net spades, spades isthree to nine nine, and then
clubs and hearts, hearts, yeah.
SPEAKER_01 (26:57):
Jesus, it's like
Joe's has never played in the
league.
SPEAKER_03 (27:00):
I still don't even
know what the division I'm in.
I don't even know what divisionI'm in.
I get confused too sometimes.
Uh I mean, if I was in diamonds,it would be very easy.
I'd be like, I'm a diamond, I'mRihanna.
Shouldn't buy like a diamond,Joe.
There we go.
Easy.
SPEAKER_01 (27:15):
Uh so yeah, we
played out at Aliante.
We had a 730 shotgun that didn'tstart until 740 through no fault
of our own.
SPEAKER_05 (27:23):
Um that was a little
upsetting, but uh two times in
front of us.
SPEAKER_01 (27:29):
Uh yeah, yeah.
You slip the starter some money, they'll throw you out there,
even in front of a scheduledshotgun.
SPEAKER_02 (27:34):
So yep, shout out
Kyle.
SPEAKER_01 (27:36):
Yeah, yep, exactly.
SPEAKER_03 (27:40):
Kyle out there
slipping in between VGN.
SPEAKER_01 (27:43):
Yeah, so we had to
uh he played in the event.
SPEAKER_03 (27:46):
So probably told
some about it.
Yeah, at least it wasn't an hourlater, you know.
SPEAKER_01 (27:51):
Yeah, no, no.
I mean, it was nice and cool inthe morning, it was beautiful
out there, there wasn't muchwind.
Um, course was in you know goodshape for for Aliante.
It wasn't I thought the greenswere okay, but a lot of ball
marks, a lot of ball marks, alot of bumpy.
Yeah, they were deceptivelyfast, which they didn't look
fast.
(28:11):
Like visually, they looked theyjust rolled out, they rolled
slow, but my god, everythingrolled out.
SPEAKER_03 (28:18):
They rolled well or
no?
Uh for the most part, for themost part.
SPEAKER_05 (28:22):
I mean, it was to
fix some ball marks for sure.
SPEAKER_01 (28:24):
Yeah, I mean, I my
problem was I played TBC Vegas
on Friday, on Thursday, and thegreens about there were perfect.
I mean, like, perfect.
And uh then you go out, thisguy.
Yeah, you go out to Eliante andthey looked good, and then you
(28:45):
hit the putt, you know, it'slike, well, they look a little,
they feel soft, they're a littleslow, and you hit the putt and
it rolls 10 feet past the cup,and you're like, what the fuck
was that?
Um, so then I was tentative allday and and just you know didn't
have didn't have a good puttingperformance.
It was like I played well allacross the board of it.
My putting surprisingly is whatled me astray.
(29:07):
I had three three putts, andthose were my three double
bogeys that would have, youknow, had I made those putts,
would have been it would havebeen in second place.
I'll do it to you.
SPEAKER_03 (29:18):
Short game, short
game, short game.
SPEAKER_01 (29:20):
Yep, yep, yep.
But I did squeak into thefinals.
SPEAKER_03 (29:25):
Thankfully, because
my way of cancellation, by way
of people saying they're notcoming.
SPEAKER_01 (29:30):
So hey, anyway you
can get there, yeah.
You're in.
SPEAKER_05 (29:34):
Hey, I'm only
qualifying for a tour event,
bro.
SPEAKER_03 (29:37):
Dude, honestly,
that's the first alternate you
get in.
Yeah, that's always my goal isyou know, I want to win a
tournament, but always my goalis just be there at the end of
the year, always.
Because I mean, what was thattwo, three years ago?
Remember that when we were atwhen we were at Revere, and that
first day I was like five underthrough nine, and I fucking shit
(29:58):
bricks and I had Sucked afterthat, but it was like I was like
the bottom, and I was like, ohdamn, there's a chance because I
was lighting it up.
But always my goal be be in itat the end of the year.
Yep.
SPEAKER_01 (30:11):
Be in it at the end
of the year.
SPEAKER_03 (30:12):
Be be the tour
player champion.
SPEAKER_01 (30:16):
Yes, that's the main
goal.
So now we'll have uh uh we gottwo days, uh the November 15th
and 16th at Revere.
We're playing Lexington onSaturday, and then after the
round, we have a uh buffet thatwill have uh for 40 players.
(30:37):
So afterwards, everybody cancongregate, hang out, and uh hi
Colleen.
Hi, Colleen.
Thank you, and everybody canhang out and get what they want
to eat and and have a good time, and then Sunday we will play
Concord, and then everybody canhang out at uh Moorhead
(30:57):
afterwards, so we don't have toworry about uh a wedding party
or anything like that crashingour finals like we had last time
we were at Revere.
SPEAKER_03 (31:06):
So yeah, yeah, hey
everybody uh bye shit show, god
who's going to Roberto's, who'sgoing to Rebellion?
SPEAKER_01 (31:19):
Yeah, exactly.
SPEAKER_03 (31:20):
Yeah, no shit.
SPEAKER_01 (31:23):
So um, yeah.
That's that's what I got on theon the VGN.
So uh sign-ups are open now.
If you want to join, the link'savailable on the website.
Go hit us up.
I just got I just found out thatuh golf genius jacked up their
prices again for the thirdstraight year in a row.
SPEAKER_03 (31:40):
Shut out golf
genius, yeah.
SPEAKER_01 (31:42):
So it's like you
know, in order for us to be
competitive and compete in thisgrowing age of blah blah blah,
we were finding that we weregonna have to increase our
prices$375.
SPEAKER_03 (31:52):
Uh your software's
already built.
SPEAKER_01 (31:56):
Well, they haven't
updated that the software in a
long time.
SPEAKER_05 (31:59):
I mean, there's
server season went up.
How much how much is it to buildan app?
SPEAKER_06 (32:05):
Oh, it'd be a lot
more than that, than what we
pay.
Yeah, because it's like what isit, four grand a year?
SPEAKER_05 (32:11):
Yeah.
SPEAKER_06 (32:12):
Well, it's 42.
SPEAKER_05 (32:14):
It's four grand a
year for golf genius.
Yeah, yeah.
Holy shit.
SPEAKER_01 (32:19):
Yeah, there's
expenses to this shit.
SPEAKER_05 (32:22):
Yeah, let's build an
app then.
Let's fucking do one that'sbetter than golf genius.
SPEAKER_03 (32:28):
Would it so would it
would it be if how much is it,
Jeremy?
How much do you think it wouldcost to build that?
Because is it worth building itfor two years of VGN or like
what's the return rate?
SPEAKER_06 (32:45):
I mean the return
rate.
SPEAKER_03 (32:47):
What I'm saying is
is like, is is that is it worth
doing it for three years?
Maybe maybe four or five years.
Okay, yeah.
Should have started it firstyear, bro.
SPEAKER_06 (33:01):
Yeah, I mean, it's
there's a lot in it.
Like it's it's on the outside,it's just a simple thing, but
behind the scenes, like you'reconnecting to USGA, you're yeah,
yeah.
A lot of server servers.
But I mean, it's it's doable forsure, but it's it would be
expensive.
SPEAKER_01 (33:20):
Yeah, we're um talk
about German doing just a small
VGN app, you know, won't havelive scoring or anything like
that, but just maybe an easierway for us to communicate with
everybody.
SPEAKER_03 (33:34):
Um, and I'm sure
it'll connect you to the Chasin
Daylight podcast as well.
SPEAKER_01 (33:37):
Oh, of course,
absolutely.
Oh, yeah, absolutely.
SPEAKER_06 (33:39):
We had a when I ran
a men's league up in Utah, we
had an app sort of that wascreated by the previous guy that
I maintained, and it was like itwas basically golf genius where
you could track your points andsee all the rounds, and every
all the scores were in, and itwas cool.
It was, but it was like nothing,it was like five percent of what
golf genius is, yeah.
SPEAKER_01 (33:59):
And even that was a
lot, so but it's I mean, there's
there's other variants outthere, um, but they're like blue
teas, but blue teas is crazyexpensive.
Um, I got an app guy.
Hey, got paints, got an app guy.
Um we got an app guy too.
We did we did 18 birdies thevery first year, and uh that
(34:22):
sucked because uh some people,uh one of them being on the
screen right now, refused todownload the app, so it made it
hard for everybody to uh youknow be involved and and track
scores because some peopledidn't want to do it, so um
yeah, but it wasn't it wasn'tfluid either.
SPEAKER_03 (34:40):
Like it was no, it
wasn't fluid, it wasn't fluid.
SPEAKER_01 (34:42):
It it's getting
better.
18 Birdies is getting better onthat side, but I think they kind
of gave up on that tournamentside of things.
They went hard at it, and thenonce I think they realized, oh
shit, this is gonna take a lotmore money, yeah, and we're
never gonna get to the levelthat Blue Tease and Golf Genius
is at.
So, no, let's go.
SPEAKER_03 (35:03):
I mean, it's it's
one of those things, even like
like loop.
We used to use loop all thetime, and then they started
charging per bet, and it waslike, uh no.
Yeah, we haven't used it since.
No, I think it's gone.
I looked for it on the app storethe other day, and it's gone.
SPEAKER_01 (35:18):
I think it's called
something else now, isn't it?
SPEAKER_03 (35:21):
Yeah, yeah, I'm not
sure.
I was talking to barrels theother day, and he yeah, they
changed the name of it.
And the thing is, speaking of,did you run the did you run the
giveaway for everybody?
SPEAKER_01 (35:30):
Yeah, of course.
SPEAKER_03 (35:31):
Okay, just making
sure.
SPEAKER_01 (35:33):
It's rolling.
SPEAKER_03 (35:34):
Don't know what
we're giving away, but we're
giving away something.
All you gotta do is comment.
SPEAKER_01 (35:38):
And Joe's gonna ship
it.
SPEAKER_03 (35:39):
Yeah, I got it.
All right, we're gonna givewe're gonna give away a loop
towel.
We're gonna give away a looptowel, easy money towel, easy
money golf towel for thegiveaway.
Easy money golf.
SPEAKER_01 (35:52):
That's what it
changed to, wasn't it?
SPEAKER_03 (35:54):
Is it easy money
now?
I think easy sounds.
I know, I think it's a lead.
I was talking to barrels.
I got like 25 of those thingsdownstairs.
SPEAKER_00 (36:01):
Yeah, yeah.
Good lord.
SPEAKER_03 (36:04):
But it was a fun
app, and it's like the moment
you you started.
You start as free, and then youknow, it was at first, I think
it was free, and then it startedas the person who created the
game was charged a dollar, andthen after that, it changed to
everybody that's playing in thegame is charged a dollar, yeah,
(36:24):
or something, dollar fifty.
And it was and after that, I waslike, oh, yeah, it wasn't money
in their account.
It was just it was just fees, itwas just fees, fees, fees, which
I understand, but a dollar, Imean, uh I'd start the game, get
charged the dollar, fine.
You know, I lose, I lose,whatever.
I win, I win.
(36:44):
A dollar to have an app trackthe scores for you and and
automatically transfer themoney.
I'm down for a dollar.
Yeah, but the moment wheneverybody was getting charged
the dollar was no, I don't wantto play, I'm getting charged a
dollar.
Yeah, you know, that type ofsituation.
Like, dude, it's just a dollar.
(37:06):
You could win, you could winfive dollars.
SPEAKER_01 (37:09):
Think of that, and
then pay a fee.
SPEAKER_03 (37:14):
Ridiculous.
So I mean, that's whatnot initself, right?
There, like that.
That's the fucking that's that'sthe spin games right there.
SPEAKER_01 (37:22):
All right.
Uh, much love for Garson Golf.

SPEAKER_01 (38:59):

SPEAKER_01 (39:51):

SPEAKER_06 (40:29):

install them out of the back of
the atlas.
SPEAKER_02 (40:31):
Uh, there we go.
SPEAKER_03 (40:32):
Yeah, set up a
mobile station.
Yeah, you just get a bunch andthen you just create a little
mobile grip station.
SPEAKER_00 (40:41):
Actually, not a bad
idea.
SPEAKER_03 (40:44):
With the purchase.
SPEAKER_02 (40:46):
Yeah, oh yeah.
SPEAKER_01 (40:47):
Oh, yeah.
SPEAKER_02 (40:49):
Um good idea.
SPEAKER_01 (40:51):
All right, so I got
two two more things we can chat
about.
Um, got got a little hate on uhthe the lab lab video, uh uh
rehashing some old memorieshere.
If everybody remembers the uhpost that I put out that uh you
know, with the jailbird showingthe the head twisting, yada yada
(41:14):
yada.
Uh blue up got a ton of views, and that's what spiral.
That's what connected us withSam and uh somebody.
How many views now?
Uh it's got 1.4 on Instagram.
And I don't know what it has onYouTube.
I have to look and see.
Oh, actually, I I I have itright here because it's a lot.
(41:34):
Let's see.
It has uh 60,000 views on on uhYouTube.
Um hang on.
That's not what I wanted to.
SPEAKER_03 (41:46):
Hey, y'all guys,
FYI.
All you have to do to get intothe giveaway is comment and you
have to be here present.
I see a lot of viewers dropping.
You gotta hang out, be here forthe pool, comment if you
haven't, and you're gettingsomething sent your way.
Totally free.
99.
SPEAKER_01 (42:04):
Uh, so the this was
the hey, this is where it
started.
Uh Papa dash bogey.
Uh, no, it's not why they whatthey want you to think.
What they demonstrate is thefact that non-zero torque,
non-lie angle balance puttershave a tendency to open through
the stroke, and this needs to beovercome and compensated for by
the player.
It's no longer a gimmick.
Every major putter manufacturernow offers some form of zero
(42:26):
torque putters.
My Gallspy has tested and shownthe zero torque putter is
superior as short andmedium-length putts, uh, which
somebody replied to his comment.
And then he came back withbecause they were saying, you
know, if you're gonna be con bya thousand dollar putter, go
ahead.
Uh, so um he basically repeateduh try harder, understand the
(42:47):
engineering and science behindthe technology.
Every single manufacturer isgoing to it.
Um he says uh$1,000 questionmark.
Odyssey sells a ZT for$300,which is not true, it's more
than that.
Lab zone putters don't cost morethan$600.
Well, that's because they're$599, so you're gonna pay more
than$600, um, which is less thana QI35 or G2T2.
(43:10):
By the way, Sam Hahn was on thesame channel one month later,
and these dopes, these dopes hadto backtrack their dopey
demonstration.
Look it up.
Doping.
We're doping.
So uh, you know, I justbasically asked, what did we
backtrack on?
Because I don't backtrack on theshit.
(43:33):
Yeah, I let's so can we just foreverybody for everybody that may
not understand, my beef with Labis only the revealer.
I think Sam is awesome, I thinkwhat they're doing is awesome, I
think they're a marketingmachine, they know exactly what
they're doing.
They're selling good putters, they're selling the shit out of
(43:54):
their putters.
I have a problem with therevealer.
That is it.
That was what that post wasabout.
That is what I think is agimmick.
Sam understands that.
Sam knows it.
They coined a phrase calledrevealer fatigue because of that
video.
So um Royal Mogie, calm the fuckdown.
(44:16):
Know your role, you don't knowwhat you're talking about.
SPEAKER_03 (44:20):
Okay, can we just
say it doesn't matter how much
money you spend on your putteror what your putter looks like,
or if you have a lab or a spideror a ZT or a blade, or it
matters if you drop putts and ifit works for you, which is what
we've always stood by.
If it works for you, then itworks for you.
(44:42):
And we don't need a machine totell us if it's gonna work for
us.
That's literally it at the endof the day.
The machine, the the revealer isnot your putting stroke.
That's what Matt was saying inthat video.
SPEAKER_01 (44:56):
Yeah, we played uh
with Sean Rowe yesterday, me and
Julian did, and uh he's he has auh Mez that he's putting with
now, and he's like, I hatemyself for it, but I'm putting
great with it, you know.
Get on him.
That's it's all that matters.
SPEAKER_03 (45:13):
Do you think there's
a placebo effect, maybe like
where it's like they're so labis so good at marketing, and
they're so good at like makingyou think you putt better with
the putter that you actuallyputt better with the putter?
Like, is there a placebo effectthere?
SPEAKER_01 (45:30):
Maybe there could be
Sean is a stat guy, he keeps his
stats.
So, yeah, I mean, he's got thestats to back up that he is
putting better.
I don't know how many people arelike that.
I'd be curious to know.
You know, I mean, there waspeople on that post that are
saying I went to from a eight toa scratch handicap after getting
my lab, and it's like, no, youdidn't shut up.
(45:52):
Um, yeah, you know, and it'sit's just it's so so many people
are are such idiots when itcomes to it, you know, and and
some people are super proud.
Like, I'm I'm a lab guy and it'smade me putt better, and blah
blah blah, and they'll fuckingdie on that hill.
And it's like, good for you, bro.
Good for you.
SPEAKER_06 (46:13):
I think that like it
it what it comes down to,
especially like for me, it'sjust confidence.
Like, if you feel confident thatthe lab is gonna do what you
think it's gonna do, then that'sgonna help you feel confident
about making putts.
Could be the driver technology,it could be whatever it is.
It's if whatever you make youfeel confident.
No, I'm not getting one.
(46:34):
And come on, hey, hey, I wouldtry one out.
Honestly, I would I'd like totry them because I do like the
feel of it.
SPEAKER_05 (46:39):
But I was I was
gonna try to talk you off that
ledge, bro.
SPEAKER_03 (46:43):
Oh no, I won't
purchase one.
I think that's the thing is whatI was trying to say is like
putting is confident, you haveto have confidence, the ball's
gonna go in the hole.
Putting is totally feelconfidence, and I think lab
might be doing such a good jobat marketing that they're they
are instilling confidence in thepeople, and that's what I mean
(47:07):
by placebo.
SPEAKER_01 (47:08):
Oh, yeah, I know
what you mean.
Yeah, I mean it it that verymuch could be the case.
I mean, I I still see a ton ofpeople putting with lab putters
that haven't a whole lot ofpeople.
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
SPEAKER_03 (47:22):
We need to call
Harvard, we get Harvard on this.
SPEAKER_01 (47:27):
You know, I was I
was I was chatting with uh uh
the guy from Please Let Us Golf, and because they had Sam on
recently, and uh I told him, Isaid uh before Jeremy showed up
at TPC Vegas, uh I was on theputting green and and I sent him
a message.
I go, dude, there's 10 people onthe putting green right now,
eight of them have labs, theother person has the square to
(47:47):
square Odyssey putter that lookslike a lab.
Like, what the fuck is going on?
And so I was I was watching andlike maybe three of those people
had a decent putting stroke.
SPEAKER_03 (47:59):
Maybe bring back
bullseyes, fuck it.
Everything's a bullseye now.
Fuck it.
Oh yeah.
Hill shaft blade, baby.
SPEAKER_05 (48:05):
Let's go.
There we go.
SPEAKER_01 (48:06):
New new putter tech
has been banned.
Gotta go with a gotta go withthe bullseye starting in 2027.
Everybody putts with a bullseye.
Oh, that would see that's someshit that I would love to see.
I would love to see a tournamentwhere PGA tour, four-day event,
everybody has to have a bullseyein their bag.
(48:28):
That's everybody's got the sameputter.
Let's see what happens.
SPEAKER_03 (48:30):
David says, Do you
believe in putter fitting?
Can that really help?
Have you guys ever been fit forputters?
Absolutely, it can help.
SPEAKER_01 (48:40):
Absolutely it can
help.
There's now, especiallynowadays, with like we use the
GC quad for our putting.
Uh, we also have Sam putt lab,um, but we use the GC quad
because now it's mobile, you cantake it to the putting green.
And uh, I was out there beforeJeremy showed up putting with it
with the quad.
And the data that you can getand what you can figure out,
(49:03):
it's remarkable.
It's absolutely absolutelyunbelievable that what you can
dial in with a putter fitting ifyou have the right deck.
SPEAKER_03 (49:13):
Yeah, I mean, I've
been I've been fit by it by a
putter or for putter uh fromJulian at uh Club Champion, and
I brought my putter to him, mystrokes gained.
Shout out Neil Wars the legend, fuck the Panthers, go knights,
but Neil's is still Neil's stilla legend.
Um yeah, and I brought my putterthere, and and Julian was like,
(49:37):
This putter was made for you.
He's like, There, I there'snothing we we don't need to bend
it, we don't have to adjust thelie angle.
I mean, that's the thing.
You get really deep.
SPEAKER_01 (49:47):
Whoa, whoa, whoa,
whoa, what?
I'm a lab guy, but I just took aScotty out and I'm putting the
Scotty in the bag.
SPEAKER_03 (49:54):
Okay, my man,
please.
But that's the thing, though,too.
Like, I was going into that, like that putter was made for
me, and you know, noadjustments, but with the
terrarium, because I won theterrarium from Scout, and I've
been putting crazy with it,right?
And sometimes if you're notputting well, you just need to
(50:16):
change it up for a day or two, around or two, and you gotta
bring back the old girlfriendand it it's today.
It works, and that that might beyour case, Dan.
Uh Daniel, because Dan's here.
Uh, Daniel, that might be yourcase.
It's like you're so used toseeing this, you need you might
need to see something else for alittle bit.
(50:37):
So switch it out occasionally.
If I'm putting bad with the mygamer, I'll pull something else
in, play with it, and then thenext round.
I promise you, every time I puttway better with my gamer.
SPEAKER_01 (50:50):
So I I I still want
to know why what happened.
What what what's the reason foryou putting the Scotty in the
bag over the lap?
Just out of curiosity, that isall.
Just out of curiosity.
SPEAKER_03 (51:04):
Because I feel like
shout out Jordan not breaking
his back in Japan.
Jordan's still here, he canwatch YouTube.
Shout out, Jordan.
Did he break his back in Japan?
Jordan, my homie Jordan, who gotfit by Matt, fell down some
stairs in Japan.
He said he was broke his back.
He was oh no.
(51:25):
Oh, he's hanging tough becauseI'm gonna try and play with
Jordan next week.
Uh, but he is he's on one.
So uh he's alive, he's alive.
SPEAKER_05 (51:36):
Did you get good
drugs on the stairs?
SPEAKER_03 (51:38):
He was probably
wearing those wooden sandal
things with the two like thingslike this.
Clink, clink, clink, clink.
I know what you're saying.
SPEAKER_00 (51:46):
God, I hope not.
SPEAKER_03 (51:49):
I my boy Jordan, I
swear, he went full on culture
with it.
So that might that might havebeen what happened.
SPEAKER_07 (51:57):
Wow.
SPEAKER_01 (51:59):
Wow.
unknown (52:00):
Wow.
SPEAKER_01 (52:01):
All right, so the
other thing I want to talk
about, and I I said I wasn'tgonna name names, so I won't
name names, but uh at uh Alianteum situation happened where a
player hit a very poor T shot.
A very good player hit a verypoor T shot.
(52:25):
And I was curious how you guyshow you guys handle the awkward
cart ride after that.
Like yeah, so you you know theyjust you know just topped a ball
(52:46):
30 feet in front of them, andit's just bad, and you can feel
their hostility.
They teed up, hit another ball, you can both walk back to the
car, you get in, you drive off.
SPEAKER_00 (53:00):
I think it depends
awkwardness.
SPEAKER_05 (53:02):
I think how do you
handle that?
I think it depends on theirinitial reaction.
You know, if they top it and youknow they're pissed, you give
them time to cool off all thatshit, you know, give them their
give them their rage moment.
If they're laughing it off, youknow, self-deprecating, calling
themselves, you know, loser, what an asshole.
I can't believe I hit that shot, you know, whatever, but are you
know laughing about it, then youknow, maybe you can chuckle with
(53:24):
it.
But I would say wait for aninitial reaction first and then
and then you could behaveaccordingly.
SPEAKER_01 (53:30):
It's so hard because
you know, it not only happens to
your partner, but happens to youtoo.
You know, you oh yeah, everybody's we're not perfect,
we all hit bad shots.
Yeah, we all do.
You know, you it's it's such athat awkward cart ride is such a
weird fashion of the game wherethey do I break the silence with
(53:52):
a joke, do I just say it's okay, get him next time?
You know, there's so manydifferent ways to go about it,
and uh it really depends on yourrelationship as well.
SPEAKER_03 (54:06):
Because if it like
if Matt did it, I'd be like,
Yeah, you fucking deserve thatshit.
You know, Jeremy about time andwaiting for that.
SPEAKER_01 (54:16):
Yeah, I I will say
that.
SPEAKER_03 (54:18):
Like Jeremy, I'd be
like, dude, dude, this course is
sick, dude.
Like, don't worry about it.
I will say this full full fulldisclosure.
Just get a ruby jewel, Dan.
You're fine.
SPEAKER_05 (54:30):
Full disclosure,
this situation kind of happened
a few weeks back at Legacy.
Um Jay, is it okay if I talkabout this a little bit?
Okay, Jay was kicking my ass thewhole fucking day, and he had a
couple of stumbles on the wayin, and unfortunately ended up
(54:53):
losing to me by one.
Um I can tell after 18 pin, assoon as we put the pin in an 18,
like when I went to go, youknow, dap up at the end of the
round.
I could already tell Jay wasfuming inside.
I know he was pissed at himself, you know.
So that that moment that youtalk about, Matt, where it's
like awkward, like that wasright there.
That was where like, fuck, howhow am I gonna do this with Jay?
(55:17):
You know, I love Jay.
Jay just is like my brother, andI even told him that when I
dapped up, I gave him a hug.
I said, I love you, bro.
Like, you know, I didn't knowwhat else to say.
You know, so that awkward.
I and I know Jay inside wasprobably just like, Motherfuck,
you know, I get I know he was sopissed off, but uh, but yeah, I
I just had just had that feelingtwo weeks ago.
SPEAKER_03 (55:38):
I really think it
just comes down to your
relationship with the player, like um, like for me personally,
like if because you know, we weplay with people in VGN that we
haven't played with a ton oftimes, and we don't know that
well, but you know it it youhave to use your like instincts,
and that's what life is, right?
(56:00):
Like, we we don't live online,we we interact with people, and
it's like I usually try and uhovercome awkward situations with
comedy, um, or like you know,I'm I'm not gonna say get them
next time, champ.
I'm not I'm not miracle on ice,you know what I mean?
So it's it just depends on themoment.
(56:23):
Yeah, I think so.
After about shout out KirkRussell, dude.
SPEAKER_01 (56:27):
Kirk Russell legend.
After about 20 seconds ofsilence, I said, because I rec I
recorded it, right?
SPEAKER_03 (56:35):
And I won't post
that.
Don't worry, I won't post that.
Is that what you said?
SPEAKER_01 (56:40):
No, after about 20
seconds of silence, I said, I
know you're fuming right now.
I said, but later on tonight ortomorrow after you've calmed
down, I'm gonna send you thisvideo and you're gonna go.
SPEAKER_05 (56:52):
Who did you play
with?
SPEAKER_01 (56:55):
He's looking, and
and so I gotta text later on
next day and like send me thatvideo.
SPEAKER_05 (57:01):
I gotta see who
you're paired with.
SPEAKER_01 (57:03):
Uh I said I wouldn't
mean to email it.
I know I'm gonna look right nowfor the email.
SPEAKER_06 (57:08):
Yeah, I think did
this did this person go home, go
to the car dealership on the wayhome and buy a car?
SPEAKER_07 (57:17):
Okay, yeah.
SPEAKER_03 (57:19):
He's like, dude, my
golf sucks.
I gotta go buy a car.
Yeah, he's like he texted me.
SPEAKER_05 (57:23):
I assume I can
assume who it is.
It's not the one in the chatright now.
It's not Matt Boyd in the chat.
SPEAKER_06 (57:28):
Okay, no, no.
He texted me, he said, Have youever been so upset about around
the golf so you just went andbought a car?
SPEAKER_01 (57:36):
Wow, I seen that
one.
I seen that, yeah.
Oh, but we I was I was tellinghim I uh we were in the 18th
fairway, our last hole, the 17thhole.
And I'm like, I go, you knowwhat, dude?
I said, I don't think I playedbad today at all.
And I said, I'm I'm you know, seven or eight over.
(57:56):
I said, I I don't think Ideserve this score.
I think I played when he goes,me too.
He's like, I had two bad holes, and I'm you know 10 shots off
the lead.
SPEAKER_03 (58:06):
Like, wow.
I I mean I also believe thatit's one of those things that's
like you were dealt the cardsand you gotta live with it, you
know.
Like you you can't get likeyou're we're not playing on
tour, we're not we're notplaying for a shit ton of money.
It's like dude, chill out.
Yeah, okay.
You hit a bad shot, it's on you, you're the one who swung the
(58:29):
club, yeah, and it's it's justit's just one of those things,
like use it as a lesson, learnfrom it if you're able to, and
uh move forward and go buy acar.
Go buy a car.
SPEAKER_06 (58:43):
I think golfers like
historically have been have had
very high expectations too.
Like, once you get to a level ofskill, maybe you start playing
and you're very consistent andyou have expectations of how you
should play, and then you don'thit those, it's like the world
is ending.
SPEAKER_05 (59:00):
It's disappointing.
SPEAKER_06 (59:01):
I mean, it's just
you just the disappointment you
have in yourself because youknow you're better, or you know
you shouldn't have hit thatshot, or whatever it is.
It's just it's tough to dealwith, though, for sure.
Like what Dan was saying aboutthe legacy situation, man.
I was like, I was ready to likestop playing golf because it was
like that level of frustrationwhere you feel in control the
(59:25):
whole time and then you justlose it on two holes or whatever
it is.
It's like it's so frustrating,man.
Golf is a very frustrating game, but it's like it's the perfect
teacher for life, too, becauseyou just absolutely you just
have to deal with the shit thatcomes your way, and you just you
know, but yeah, it's uh I don'tknow.
SPEAKER_03 (59:44):
I mean, when we
played Legacy, that that is the
worst I've played in probably uhthree or four years, you know,
and uh but I kept asking myselflike what is going on?
You know, like I can't answerit.
SPEAKER_01 (01:00:05):
I don't know if I'm
a bad, good golfer or a good bad
golfer.
SPEAKER_03 (01:00:09):
Yeah, it's it's
tough, man.
It's tough being in thatsituation and knowing what
you're capable of doing.
And that's where it's like golfis funny because it's like
you're capable of doing someshit, but you you're not always
gonna do it.
So chill out, homie.
SPEAKER_01 (01:00:26):
Yeah, I said I go, I
think I'm gonna bring this up on
the discussion on the podcastabout how awkward cart ride
after someone does somethingawful.
And he goes, please don'tmention names.
And then he said this this is anamazing quote.
It's like eating dinner as akid, and dad just hit mom at the
dinner table.
Everyone is trying not to cry.
SPEAKER_05 (01:00:45):
Dad just hit mom at
the dinner table.
SPEAKER_01 (01:00:48):
Everybody's trying
not to cry.
SPEAKER_03 (01:00:51):
From the slums,
dude.
From the slums.
Shout out to you making it tothe course.
SPEAKER_00 (01:00:59):
He sighed, he
sighed.
unknown (01:01:02):
Fuck.
SPEAKER_03 (01:01:03):
That's fuck.
That's funny.
SPEAKER_01 (01:01:05):
Uh uh, he said he
just Jordy just realized he's
not live and he's typing 15minutes ago.
Well, kick hit that live button.
Catch up.
SPEAKER_03 (01:01:13):
Yeah, catch up,
Jordy.
SPEAKER_01 (01:01:15):
And then this this
was uncalled for.
I didn't appreciate it.
SPEAKER_03 (01:01:18):
He's still in Japan.
SPEAKER_01 (01:01:19):
Yeah.
Matt posts about Goodwoods, butI saw him on the course
yesterday with a purple DF3.
Stop it.
SPEAKER_06 (01:01:26):
Hey, is there
something you need to tell us,
Matt?
It's AI.
That is Phoenix Sun Sand.
SPEAKER_01 (01:01:34):
That is something I
never have to worry about.
Never have to worry about.
SPEAKER_03 (01:01:45):
I got one more
thing.
SPEAKER_01 (01:01:47):
Oh, what do you got?
Oh.
SPEAKER_03 (01:01:49):
And I I doubt you
guys watch this because I'm not
even done with it.
SPEAKER_00 (01:01:53):
Oh.
SPEAKER_03 (01:01:54):
But I do want to
give a shout out to YouTube
Golf.
Uh the I mean, if we go back toone year ago when Dave Portnoy
from Barstool Sports said he'ddrop a million dollars on a golf
tournament.
If you got all the top golfinfluencers together to play a
(01:02:15):
tournament, uh, I am an hour and36 minutes into the uh Bob Does
Sports, uh, internet, internetinvitational, Barstool.
Um they I mean I'm an hour andthirty-six in, so I haven't I
haven't finished it, but theyhave done a really good job at
(01:02:36):
it.
It's it's pretty good.
And I I got what two hours left.
It's three hours and 40 minutes.
Internet invitational onYouTube.
Where are they miners?
They're at Big Cedar Lodge.
Big Cedar Lodge.
Okay.
SPEAKER_01 (01:02:52):
When did it take
place?
SPEAKER_03 (01:02:54):
Uh I'm not sure
exactly when never mind.
That's when they dropped ittoday.
And also Rip Beef.
That dude loved golf, rip beef.
Um I I would assume becausethere's a lot of editing editing
that happened.
I would assume it took place acouple months ago, but yeah,
they the format that theycreated is fantastic.
(01:03:18):
Um, it's two days and a thirdday, like they did a really good
job.
And uh, I highly suggesteveryone go watching it, even
though I haven't finished ityet.
But uh what I what I've seen inone hour and 36 minutes, it's
it's pretty good.
And they did a really good jobwith it, and I think it's what I
(01:03:40):
think it potentially might bethe future, unfortunately.
But it's good.
No, I like it because I'm scaredof pro golf becoming obsolete.
Would that change?
(01:04:02):
No, I don't think it'll everhappen, but I'm saying like you
this you gotta understand, allthese guys have so many
followers.
They have yeah, they have amillion over a million views in
11 hours.
So it's like like I get it,right?
And but that's the thing, likewe gotta tell stories, and uh
(01:04:27):
these guys tell their storiesevery day.
So I think PG Tour, also live,we're not huge live fans, but we
gotta tell better stories, anduh, I think they did a great job
with it.
Not done, but um it's it's it'spretty good so far.
SPEAKER_01 (01:04:48):
I'll have to tune in
tomorrow.
So check it out for sure.
SPEAKER_06 (01:04:51):
Let's take that a
little further, Joe.
What you said.
If if pro golf went obsolete, how would that change the game
that we play?
SPEAKER_03 (01:05:00):
I don't know.
I I I mean it depends on the theplayer or the person or what
they value.
I mean, like I value experiencesand stories, so um, you know, it
makes me want to go to Big CedarLodge a little bit more.
Doesn't make me want to playHilton Head.
(01:05:21):
You know what I'm saying?
Like we we go we see HiltonHead, and it's not like I I
would love to play uh uh a tourcourse, of course, but it's not
like there's not a story there.
Like I think PGA Tour needs tobuild on stories and resonate
with players around the world.
You know what I mean?
And and I there was like a youguys know me.
(01:05:44):
I'm like uh, you know, I'm afeel like I I love the story, I
love to understand the historyis soul golfer, the background,
and I think I want more storiesfrom ProGolf.
You know, these guys are mic'dup every hole, every shot.
SPEAKER_01 (01:06:05):
And yeah, but it's I
mean it's it's a different type
of golf though.
SPEAKER_03 (01:06:13):
It is absolutely
yes, it is 100%.
SPEAKER_01 (01:06:16):
No, they're both
we're you know, they're playing
the game, but it's it's not it'snot the same, it's just it's
just not the same.
SPEAKER_03 (01:06:26):
It's no, it's
definitely not the same, it's
not the same caliber of golf, absolutely, but I would argue
that people scrambling for a parto win a match from um out of
bounds to a guy scrambling frompar from the front of the green
(01:06:46):
is more entertaining.
SPEAKER_05 (01:06:48):
I think I think a
lot of it is is it's appealing
because a lot of these guysaren't even the greatest
golfers.
Like if you go out there andwatch, you know, that they they
can relate to the everydayhacks, and I think that's why
these guys get a lot of views, get a lot of attention, get a
lot of followers.
There's also I feel like there'sa demographic gap there with
(01:07:11):
YouTube golf of PJ Tour.
Of course, yeah.
I mean, with these good, goodguys and how huge they are, they
have you know almost two millionfollowers, or whatever the hell
followers, millions of followersthere are now.
But like how many of those arekids and junior golfers, you
know, like as a lot.
I don't I don't really see awhole lot of I mean, I'm sure
there are some grown men thatfollow, you know, good, good and
(01:07:34):
all the stuff.
And of obviously I've tuned intothe videos, I know you know, I
know who the guys are, but um, Ithink the PGA tour is just so um
like there's so much traditionin history there that it still
has appealing for everybody whois a golf aficionado who enjoys
(01:07:55):
the history of golf, thetradition of the PGA tour, stuff
like that.
So I think you're right, itcould be a big shift, Joe, for
sure.
But um I I I don't know if golfPJ Tour is gonna take a huge,
huge hit.
SPEAKER_03 (01:08:12):
I mean, you know,
no, I don't I don't think
they're gonna take a huge hit.
I think I think it's it'scoming.
And it's our it's been coming ifthey don't prepare for it.
SPEAKER_05 (01:08:21):
They don't they
gotta prepare for it for sure,
as you know, as with everything, you gotta adapt to you know
times and shit like that.
But um, but yeah, it'sdefinitely interesting.
I you know, whether it's YouTubeor CPS broadcast, I don't care.
I'm I'm more than likely gonnawatch it if it, you know, yeah,
it's something I want to do,something I want to see.
SPEAKER_06 (01:08:37):
So yeah.
Who do you think would sell whodo you think sells more clubs
now?
Do you think it's the pros or doyou think it's the YouTube
influencers?
SPEAKER_01 (01:08:50):
I me personally, I
still think the tour dominates
that section.
SPEAKER_06 (01:08:56):
Like lab.
Let's let's take lab again.
They gave all their creatorslabs, or what however that
worked.
Every one of them plays lab.
Do you think that those guys aremore influential about people
getting labs, or do you thinkit's the the guys on the tours
that are playing labs?
Because the YouTubers are inyour face about yeah, I've got a
(01:09:19):
lab, there's my lab, and it'seasier to see it.
Like you on the tour, you're notseeing close-ups of their
putters, you don't know whatthey're really using.
But these guys on YouTube, youknow, everything that's in their
bag, they talk about it all thetime.
SPEAKER_05 (01:09:32):
That's probably a
little bit of both, you know.
I think if they do recognize alab putter in a PGA Tour Pro's
hands, they're gonna be like, damn, you know, PGA Tour Pro's
using it, it's got to be legit.
But you know, let's be real, like a lot of the stuff that
they use, we don't, you know,it's shit we don't we'll never
see.
It's like custom made tour onlystuff, you know.
So special welds and you knowthat crap.
(01:09:53):
So it's it's just they'll see itin their hands, but yeah, I
think a lot of it might have todo with the the influencers.
SPEAKER_03 (01:10:00):
So, what's also
interesting about that, like you
know, I think there's a dividehappening, like we're older.
Um, you know, we see shit weldwork or uh wedgeworks or circle
tees.
We can't get our hands on that, but this younger generation sees
these guys playing Tacomo, theycan go to the website, order
(01:10:20):
that shit.
They're playing the same shit astheir favorite golfers.
We can't just go on to uhScottyCameron.com or title list,
whatever it is, and order theshit.
There it's like an engagingmoment to where they can feel
like they're in the game, if youwill.
I mean, I just think there's adivide where it's shifting.
(01:10:45):
There it's it's for sureshifting.
And I saw that with this, andyou know me, I've always said
like YouTube golf, whatever, Idon't watch it a ton, but um I
there's there's merit, and uhyeah, I mean I love both.
I don't love YouTube golf, Ilove history, stories, all that.
(01:11:10):
But um I just think with withwhat I saw in the first hour and
36 minutes, I was like, oh shit, these guys are commenting on
every shot, and I love Chaz 100,you know, one fourth.
I I dude, I love uh whole in onetrick shots, they got Paige,
they got they got uh Roger, theygot uh Claire, they got uh all
(01:11:30):
the Barstool guys, they got allthe Bobs, does sparts.
There's like fucking 48 playersfrom all the whole influencer
golf realm, and it's likethere's something for everyone.
SPEAKER_05 (01:11:44):
So is Amigos on the
Green there?
SPEAKER_03 (01:11:48):
No, but Amigos on
the Green should be on the next
one, and so should the Chase DayLive Podcast.
SPEAKER_05 (01:11:52):
Let's get him there.
But I just I yeah I gotta starta YouTube channel, golf channel.
We got a golf channel, shorts.
We go out and do shit, yeah.
SPEAKER_03 (01:12:06):
Or like all the
shorts, yeah.
Also, if there's one thing youcan do, you can go like all the
shorts, comment on every shortthat we've ever done, like all
of our shit, subscribe, youknow, you know the whole thing.
SPEAKER_01 (01:12:19):
What would happen is
be like I'd be like, hey, I got
us a fucking banger deal.
We're playing vice golf balls, and all you'd be like, fuck
that.
I'd I'd be vice.
Not happening.
SPEAKER_04 (01:12:32):
If they want to if
they want to pay us to play
their shit, I'll do it.
I'll play Vice.
I like golf whore, bro.
SPEAKER_03 (01:12:37):
You pay me for
whatever you want as long as
they send a lot of yellow golfballs because the yellow golf
ball covers are not great.
Um, so I would need one everyhole, probably.
But um, I would play.
I I think vice golf balls arepretty good.
SPEAKER_01 (01:12:51):
Oh, see, look at
this, right?
Kevin, letting everybody uhhomie Kevin, yeah.

SPEAKER_03 (01:13:24):

That place is sick.
Steph was on fire, too.
Yeah, no, I I just think dude, Iwould love for these guys to
teach a little bit more in theirvideos as well.
But uh, you know, we're olderguys, a tough pill to swallow,
right?
We're old.
Get it through your fuckingheads.
(01:13:45):
Uh there's shit happening, anduh people die with us.
They need to adapt, is all I'msaying.
SPEAKER_01 (01:13:55):
