The Cheetah Print Chats

The Cheetah Print Chats

I started this podcast to share life lessons with my nieces from my life experiences, successes, and mistakes. Life lessons that will never go out of style, much like…in my opinion anyway…CHEETAH PRINT! I decided to share this with all of you as well in hopes I can help as many women as possible, at any age. But I also want this to be a safe place for younger women to find advice when they don’t feel comfortable talking to an adult in their own life about something. The Cheetah Print Chats podcast will cover a wide array of topics, including setting boundaries, travel, fitness, body image, self care, money tips, grief, and more. Many of the episodes will be solo. I will be sharing a story from my life, and pointing out what I hope you can learn from it, as well as any tips you can apply to your life. But I will also be interviewing others from time to time when we want to dive deeper into a topic, or, if there is a requested topic in which I don’t have experience. I’ve gone through a lot in my life…divorce, bankruptcy, massive career changes, cross-continent and cross-country moves, hard break-ups, eating disorders, feeling completely left out…but I’ve learned something from all of it, and that is what I want to share with you! My hope is that as you listen each week, you can learn something from my experiences to apply in your own life. And hopefully avoid some of my mistakes! I can’t wait to chat with you! I had been curious about mediums and channeling for awhile. When the chance came to see one for free, I took it. Unsure of what I was getting myself into and expecting nothing, I came out a different person.

Whether it's true or not, I'll know when I get to Heaven...but this was pretty wild and I wanted to share my story with you.

I also did a quick plug on skincare! A totally separate thing. But I ment...

We're talking today about being authentic, letting the real you shine!

We're talking about how rejection is protection and/or redirection...and it's a good thing even if you can't see it right now.

We're talking about being nice, or otherwise (hint: you are not TOO nice).

Note: WE = you and I :)

I also give you a glimpse into next week&...

This is a similar topic to a few recent episodes…and short...but I felt the need to go just a tad bit further into the topic, because it’s just so important. You don’t need to stay stuck. You ARE ready. My hope and prayer for you is that you don’t let fear stop you from living the life of your dreams. Be that your own fears about not being enough, or fears of what others will think.

You deserve to go for it, whatever ...

Does going to holiday get togethers stress you out because you feel out of control around the food?

Have you ever severely overate at a holiday get together?

Or severely under ate before and/or after? Or overexercised before and/or after?

I used to do all of it. For years. It's been awhile since I did it last, but every holiday where I just go and have a good time and eat some food and move on with no stress...

So many of us get stuck in a rut of comparison. But what are we truly comparing ourselves to? Someone who has been working on something 5 years longer than us and has failed multiple times before being successful? Someone that has 10 daily habits to stay looking younger? Someone who has botox and hair extensions? Someone who goes to the gym everyday and works really hard to maintain their weight?

We see people and we ...

Why is it so hard to change, even when we KNOW it’s best for us?

There are habits and processes we could implement into our lives that would make us healthier, remove a ton of stress, make our lives easier, get us closer to our goals…yet we don’t do it. Why?

I’m not the expert on this, but I’ve been researching a little on it, talking to my therapist about it, and also have some experience with it in my own life and fr...

This episode is about my experience with S.A.D. (seasonal affective disorder). I mention this about 1000 times in the episode, but I want you to remember I am not a doctor and you cannot use this as medical advice. If you're feeling down, talk to a doctor or therapist, or call or text 988 to talk to someone immediately.

I talk through a few things that have helped me, and do help me still today, and I hope you&ap...

This episode is all about NOT getting what you wanted...yet it ends up being the best thing that could have happened. It's a reminder that our plans are not always the best plans.

Also I read a little story in this episode. The original author is Angela Elwell Hunt. Just want to give credit where credit is due.
