other things that I was takingprecedence, and for that I do

But we're back on the air andwe're here to deliver some word

(01:42):
to you today from God's Word.
Hopefully that is somethingthat you can enjoy in upliftable
spirits and it will ministeryou today.
That's what this program's allabout.
We're here just to reach out tothose that want to listen and
spread God's Word and give agood report, because we know God

(02:04):
is still on the throne.
God is still performingmiraculous things.
We've been seeing some thingsin the news take place and we
are excited about what God isdoing in our lives and around
the world.
I'm glad you have stopped intoday and you are tuning us in.
Like I said, it's been a roughyear but it's been a great year.

(02:25):
God has done some awesomethings and I could not begin to
tell you the things that he'sdone.
We've seen people healed, people saved a lot of things
that's taken place.
I know, in where you'relistening from today, that God
is doing great things there.
We've been doing a lot ofthings in local this year.

(02:47):
We've gone over to Belize for awhile for a mission trip.
We got to see some of thepeople that are in our church
over there that are stillworking for God.
We're seeing some great thingstake place in Belize and all
over the world and even in ourother countries that our church

(03:08):
supports.
In Haiti, I just got throughfinishing a building, a building
that had been torn down and nowit's up back up and they're in
service again.
It's just great to see whatGod's doing.
I know he's doing great thingsand I just can't begin to fathom
what he's got in store for 2024.

(03:29):
If you come into 2024 notexpecting something great from
God, then I just don't knowabout you.
I just expect something greatevery day.
I know some days I get up Ijust wish I'd go back to bed,
but then those other days I'mexcited about what God is doing.
I have purposed in my heartthis year that I want to see God

(03:52):
do greater things than I sawlast year.
Like I said, I've seen somegreat things take place in 2023,
but as we get closer to God'scoming, as we get closer, seeing
what God is going to do in thisworld, we're going to begin to
see greater things, because hetells us in the Word that

(04:13):
greater things that we've seenhim do we shall do, because he
goes to his Father and he'smaking preparations for us.
I look back and I look and seethings that's taking place in
the world and I just see Jesuscoming soon.
I don't know if you'refollowing Israel and what's
taking place over there, butjust watch Israel.

(04:34):
My pastor was telling us justSunday that take a look at China
.
If you want to see what'staking place in the Word, just
watch China, because China is abig part of the last days.
The last days, church is what'sgoing to take place and I'm
excited to see what he's doing.
It's been a while, guys, and I'mjust glad to be back on the air

(04:57):
.
You know I just keep putting itoff, putting it off, but I said
I've got to get in touch withthe people because I keep
watching my downloads every oncein a while and see that, even
though I've not been on in awhile, there's still people
downloading the programs andlistings.
So that lets me know thatyou're hungry and you want to

(05:19):
know more of what my broadcastis about and I trust that you
are able to tune in today and Ijust want to say thank you for
all those that are tuning in.
I keep, like I said, I keepchecking and I see people from
all over the United States, allover the world, tuning into the

(05:41):
broadcast and our podcast.
It just amazes me what God isdoing.
I never thought that once Istarted this it would reach so
many people, but I thank you somuch and, as I said in the very
beginning, if you have a prayerrequest, if you want to get in
touch with me, just go back andget the email address and email

(06:04):
me.
Let me know that you'relistening.
If you have a prayer request,I'd be glad to pray with you and
put you on a prayer list andpray that God will do exactly
what he needs to be done in yoursituation.
I don't want to leave you out.
I'd love to hear from thosethat are listening.
So take a few minutes, just sitback and send me an email at

(06:27):

We're going to take a shortbreak and we'll be back in a
minute and we're going to giveyou something that God has been
talking to us about over thelast few days and coming into
the 2024 season and thingsthat's taking place, and I think
it will minister to you andyou'll see where God is going to

(06:51):
show up and he's going to workin our lives, okay, so just sit
back, grab you a cup of coffee, maybe a snack, or a day or
something, and just relax andI'll be right back after this

Speaker 2 (08:21):
Like I said, I've been having something on my mind
coming into this new year andthings and, as I said before,
there's great things that God isdoing in people's lives and I
just know there's greater thingsthat's going to take place If
we just allow Him to, if we willallow Him to just take full

(08:42):
control of our lives.
Let Him just be the Lord of ourlife.
We're getting ready to go into2024.
And I'm just excited.
I'm excited to see what's goingto take place.
I'm excited what I will see Goddo in my life, because I want

(09:02):
God to do great things and Iwant God to do great things in
your life.
But before we do that, wereally need to focus on where we
are in God, as we're doing someresearch for 2024, someone had
done some research and I'm justgoing to copy what they found,
and it's not nothing I found,but I think it's very
interesting to see what 2024stands for.

(09:25):
But 2024 means it's a door ofadvancement.
In other words, this yearthere'll be a year of change.
A year of change in your life,if you allow it.
There'll be a shift in yourwalk with God, if we will allow
it.
Again, all the stipulates onsomething we have to do If we

(09:46):
don't partake in it, if we donot want any of this and
nothing's going to happen.
We're also going to see theyear of transformation, a year
of an awakening, and that's whatexcites me.
I want to see God's peopleawake, see God's people really
get in touch with him and beginto do the things that God has

(10:07):
called us to do.
We've sat back too long andwe've allowed the enemy to take
over the things that God saidwere ours.
We've not been dominating likewe should.
We're supposed to be in controlof this place, but we have let
the enemy take control of thingsthat does not concern the enemy

(10:28):
.
This is God's place.
We are God's children and I'mready to see a transformation.
I'm ready to see a shift and achange in what we're doing.
There's got to be an awakeningin order for those things to
take place.
This will be a year ofrealignment.
I don't know what needs to takeplace in your life, but I know

(10:49):
in my life I need to changepriorities.
There has to be realignment.
There's got to be God firstbefore there is anything else.
There is a pattern that Godfollows.
If we do not follow thatpattern, then we cannot see
transformation in our lives.
We cannot see a shift or changeor even an awakening in our
life.
We're not following inalignment with God.

(11:10):
This will be.
Your relationships are renewed.
How many know somebody thatneeds this in their life?
There's marriages.
Divorce rate is high.
Relationships are not onlymarriages but friendships.
I know there are times thatthere are seasons that people in

(11:30):
our lives and sometimes they, break away.
But sometimes people break awaybecause sometimes we're just
facing, we're stubborn, we getmad at the least little thing
and we're ready to go off onsomebody and just say, well, I'm
done with you.
That's when we're puttingpeople out of our lives that God
has put in there.

(11:50):
We've got to realize that somepeople that in our lives God has
put in place in there for areason and there are some people
that in our lives that don'tneed to be there.
So those relationships that Ibelieve that are ordained by God
, I believe there's going to berenewing of that relationship.
This will be the year alldesires are surrendered to God's

(12:14):
will.
That's a strong statement.
So that makes the next questionI have is what is our desires?
Is our desires to allow God totake full control of our lives
and let him work in the capacitythat he needs to work.

(12:36):
Or is our desires those desiresof things that we want?
I'm not saying we shouldn'twant things for ourselves, but
there's something to say aboutsomeone that put God's first in

(12:57):
their life.
I mean, as we step into 2024,seeking God for our lives and
putting him first, spending eachday with him and listening for
him to lead us, is the way thatwe're going to see advancement.
That is the way we're going tosee change and transformation.
If we do not allow him, theBible says seek he first.

(13:22):
The kingdom of God and hisrighteousness and all these
things will be attitudes.
If we are not seeking thekingdom of God, then we've done
disobeyed the first order of therealignment.
We've got to seek the kingdom.

(13:43):
We've got to seek him first.
I said this earlier today thatyou know if we will put God
first, then everything in ourlives will become our.
It's just something that youknow.
I know for a fact.
I know that if I put mypriorities in the wrong place,

(14:05):
then I know that I'm going tofail a lot of things.
I know I'm not the person Ineed to be.
We've been starting a book.
Matter of fact, we just startedit, the first January one,
which is today.
It's called Give Me 40 Days andin this book, the writer of

(14:31):
this book would just talk about.
You know, give God 40 days andsee what he will do in our lives
.
Now we can do this and ourchurch is doing this.
We started today that, you know, we give God 40 days.
Just give him 40 days of prayerand Thanksgiving and communing

(14:52):
with communing with him and seewhat, you know, god can do.
Now, in this first chapter, today, as we was reading, we
were confronted with a verypowerful statement, and that
statement was is Jesus thenumber one priority in your life
?
I mean, can you answer thatquestion truthfully?

(15:17):
I mean, I'm going to betransparent here.
If I was to answer thatquestion truthfully, I would
have to say no, oh, you say, butyou're supposed to be a
minister of the gospel, you'resupposed to be a Christian.
Well, we're human right, and wefight a daily battle with flesh

(15:41):
and spirit, and a lot of timesour flesh will win over the
spirit.
Why?
Because Jesus is not our numberone priority.
Everything in our life that weface every day seems to be more
important Our jobs moreimportant, our families more

(16:03):
important.
You know, our cars are home.
I mean, there's so many thingsthat we can put before God and
that's more important to us thanspending time with God, and
that's what this book isdesigned to do is get us to
spend more time with him.

(16:23):
The book goes on to sound.
Just read a little excerpt fromit and it says in God's kingdom
, there is only one priorityJesus Christ.
Just ask yourself, is he yourfirst love?
Is your relationship with Jesusthe number one priority in your
life?
If not, jesus may be yoursavior, but he is not your Lord.

(16:47):
Now that that that hurts, thathits home, and I hope it did for
you, because we need to realizewhere we stand we.
We may call him our savior, butis he the Lord of our life?
The word Lord means the samething in every language of the
world.
It means boss.

(17:08):
It is possible to be a believerbeliever in Jesus and not a
follower.
True followers of Jesuswillfully submit to him as their
boss.
Now I can hear you You'rethinking right through to the
podcast here.
But ain't nobody gonna be myboss.
I'm my boss.

(17:28):
I'm gonna do what I want to do.
I'm gonna go where I want to go.
I want to say what I want tosay.
I'm gonna do as I please.
No one's going to tell me I'man adult.
Yes, I said that too.
I remember growing up that youknow I kept saying, man, I'd be
glad when I get out of my own, Imake my own decisions.
I ain't got a list of mom anddad Tell me what I need to do,
where I need to go.

(17:48):
You know, I've got to go tochurch.
I got to do this, I got to dothat.
I wash dishes and things likethat.
I'm ready to be my own boss.
Well see, what I didn't realizeat the time was that even when
I was my own boss, I still hadthe responsibilities.
I still had to do things Ididn't want to do.
But if I didn't do them, thensomething else suffered.
It's the same thing with God.

(18:11):
If God is not Lord over yourlife, then something is
suffering, something is fallingbehind.
We can be a believer in Jesusall day long.
We can say we believe in Jesus,we believe what the Bible says
he can do, but we're really nota follower because we're
following after our own flesh.

(18:31):
We're following after the lustsof our eyes and lust of the
flesh, the pride of life.
We're following those thingsand until we allow the Lord to
be the Lord of it, be our boss,we're going to fall short.
Unless you are a follower ofJesus, you will never know the
mysteries of his kingdom orenjoy the benefits the kingdom

(18:54):
provides.
See, in the new year, my desireand I hope this is your desire
is that I want to make JesusLord of my life, not just my
savior, but let him take fullcontrol of my life.
This is not a resolution for me, it's not even a promise that

(19:16):
I'll do this, but it is a desire.
It is a desire that I want inmy life that God can take
control and I can put away mydesires, the things that I want
to do, and follow after Christ, because I'm realizing that we're

(19:37):
living in the last days.
I'm realizing that God's notgoing to prolong this thing very
long.
He's getting ready to come backand I want to be ready.
I don't want to be found wanting.
I want to be found doing thethings that God has called me to
do.
I'm tired of allowing the enemyto corrupt my mind, take
control of things that he shouldhave no control over.

(19:59):
And I'm not saying I'm lost orI'm a sinner or anything.
I'm just saying I want more ofGod, I want to be closer to him.
I want to to be more like hewants me to be, be.
I want to reach others, and theonly way to do that is I've got
to put myself on the backburner.

(20:20):
So when people see me, theydon't.
They don't see Glenn, theydon't see me, they don't see my
attributes or my character, butthey see Christ.
They see Christ in me.
You know, in Psalms, chapter 37,it says delight yourself also
in the Lord and he shall giveyou the desires of your heart.
Commit your way to the Lord, trust also in him.

(20:43):
You see, if we do these things,he said, he will bring it to
past.
I want my desires to be morelike rocks and to be found doing
what he wants to.
I like the translation that thepassion has, the passion

(21:04):
translations.
He says find your delight andtrue pleasure in your way and he
will give you what you desirethe most.
So what do we desire the most?
You see, I still go back.
I think that our desire mostshould be to be like Christ,
give God the right to directyour life and as you trust him

(21:28):
along the way, you'll find hepulled it off perfectly.
You see, it's time that we, as achild of God, that we get away
from trying to please our selfand try to do the things that we
want to do we're.

(21:51):
We need to worry about ourloved ones that are lost, those
that are dying and going to heal, those that that once no Jesus
knew Jesus, but they've walkedaway.
We have so much to be thankfulfor today because of the cross.

(22:12):
We have so much to be thankfulbecause he saved us.
Do we not want the same forthose that are around us that we
love or we say we love?
Do we not want those things forourselves?
Do we want God to intervene inour life?
Well, if we want advancement inthe kingdom, if we want to see

(22:35):
change in our lives and ourfamily, if we desire to see
transformation, then we aregoing to have to allow God to be
Lord of our life, to take fullcontrol.
Because I believe until we dothat, until we allow God to take

(22:56):
full control, then nothing andI know this is a strong state,
but I don't believe God is goingto bless those who are not
willing to give a little bit, that's not willing to break down
themselves and allow him totake full control.
It's time as a church, as thebody of Christ, to stand up for

(23:18):
what's right, to stand upaccording to the word and be
those disciples that God hascalled.
I stroll on a daily basis of mycalling because I don't think
I'm worthy enough.
But see, god didn't call thequalified, he qualified those he

(23:40):
calls and he equips those hecalls.
So it doesn't matter what youthink you're not worthy for, god
said you are because he made aplace for you.
There's a reason.
That's funny because I justthought about this.
I was praying this morning inmy devotion time and and I, and

(24:01):
just part of my head I saysthere's a reason I'm still alive
, there's a purpose and there'sa purpose that you're hearing
this today.
There's a purpose that you'restill alive.
Are you fulfilling the purposethat God has called you to?
It may be something small, butsee, there's no small things in

(24:21):
the kingdom.
God is wanting to perform a workin you In this twenty twenty
four season, this new year, theyear of advancement, god is
wanting to take you to a placethat you've never been before.
He's wanting to deliver youfrom out of where you at right

(24:42):
now and he's wanting to take youto a place that you've never
been, and it's not to say you'renot qualified to be there.
It's a place that he's plannedfor you, he's designed for you
and he's wanting to take chargeof it.
And I don't know what that isand I'm not.
I don't know what it is for mylife, but my desire is to find

(25:05):
it.
My desire is to see the changein my life this year.
My desire is to see atransformation, to see
realignment from where I used tobe.
The war be next year at thistime.
I don't want to be at the sameplace I'm at right now and, as a
child of God, you should wantto be the same thing.
You will.
You want to advance the kingdom.

(25:27):
You want to advance your ownspiritual life.
Why do you want to advance yourspiritual life?
So that you could show others.
We are a walking testimony andwhen we are among those that are
not follows of Jesus, we're theonly hope they have right now.
They need to see Jesus in us.

(25:48):
They need to see Jesusperforming works in us If we're
constantly doing things that arenot what the scripture says and
how we're going to win people.
If we're not left our oldaddress and moved on to the new
address of God as force, thenwe're not going to reach nobody.

(26:12):
If we're still doing the verysame thing that we've always
done, then we can't reach thosethat are lost.
Guys, I love you and I thankyou so much for joining in today
.
I just shared my heart with you.
I promise you it won't be aslong as it was last year.

(26:32):
My desire is to be more, morefocused on this this year and to
have more broadcast out, podcast out every month and what
I did last year, because I Ilove to see the reaction I get
from people.
I want to see God move in yourlife.
