011: Moji Igun on Hiring Your First Employee

This week we had the privilege of sitting down with the Founder and CEO of Blue Daisi, Moji Igun, to discuss her process of hiring Blue Daisi’s first team member.  Moji, currently based in Seattle, WA, is a speaker, writer, and sustainability consultant who works with businesses and organizations that want to grow their sustainability practices by pursuing zero waste. 

In this episode, Moji shares with La’Kita and Chloe how trust was a key factor in adding to her team.  She had to learn to trust the process of hiring laid out through coaching with CoCreate Work, trust herself as a business leader and her ability to make the right decision on who to hire as well as trust the person she ultimately selected while gradually relinquishing control of different aspects of business operations.
