I met Dave Tankersley back in High School in the fall of 1984, just as I was starting 11th grade. We became friends over a shared interest in music, and Dave introduced me to a lot of great bands that would inspire my development as an artist. We hadn't been in touch for many years and reconnected a few years ago. Recently Dave started "Press Play," an internet show with musician Charles Maxey that brings back all the best of the radio specialty show. The duo stopped by "The College of Rock-n-Roll Knowledge" to talk about the show, music, and growing up with Rock-n-Roll in the 70s-80s Los Angeles.
