Toni Morrison once wrote: “ freeing yourself is one thing, claiming ownership of that freed self is another.” Sometimes, it can feel like the safest option to hold on to ideas, beliefs and identities that no longer serve us. But what happens when the path we thought would free us leaves us feeling stuck? What happens when we outgrow our old ways of being? We learn to honor ourselves and our feelings. We learn to do what’s best for us, surrender to the journey and walk this new path. This isn’t done in a day it’s the journey of a lifetime but it can be done. We can chose to walk away from what no longer aligns with us, release everything we thought the journey would be and just live. Today’s guest teaches the value of letting go of old ways of being and creating a life that truly inspires you. Join Britany Felix and I for a candid conversation on letting go. Tune in to hear more about how she is learning to release expectations when it comes to her business, listen for what truly resonates with her and how she is finding the bravery to begin again.

Meet the Artist: Britany

Britany Felix is a podcast expert, podcaster, youtuber and dog mom. She describes herself as “your average Schitt’s Creek-loving, paranormal investigating, wanderlusting, Harry Potter nerd”. Her business, Podcasting for Coaches™, specializes in helping coaches and consultants utilize podcasts as a way to build brand awareness, establish themselves as an expert in their niche, gain new business opportunities, network, and generate new leads. Britany co-hosts Gruesome Gossip, a creepy comedy podcast for anyone who’s been told they have a sick sense of humor, and runs a reaction YouTube channel in which she reacts to episodes from her favorite tv shows. She believes that freedom is the driving force of everything that she does and has dedicated her life to the things that she loves: travel, her husband Bryan and their pup Clara.
