Kushla Chadwick (00:00):
Hey, I'm so excited to be doing these
minisodes with you.
So not every episode, but someof the episodes are going to be
mini sodes, and it gives me thechance to bring more and more
value to you, and I'm excited.
Today we're going to dive inand talk about one of the
mindset things that are reallygoing to help you with your
visibility.
So let's dive in.

(00:22):
Hey, welcome to the ConfidentCoach Academy podcast.
I'm your host, Kushla Chadwick, and if you have an audacious
dream to really be at service inthe world, build a profitable
coaching business online andhave an awesome life offline,
then, my love, you are in theright place.
Together we're going to talkstrategy, mindset, manifestation
, thought work, energy work allthe things.
So let's dive in.

(00:44):
Yeah, I want you to rememberthat your business needs two
things.
Right, it needs you to bevisible in front of, obviously,
the people who are activelylooking for the problem you help
solve as a coach.
And it needs you to sell, andif you're not being visible,
then you're not selling, you'renot able to sell.
And as you speak about how youfeel, about holding back.

(01:09):
You know - the mindset gamesyou're playing with yourself, I
think would be helpful for us tolook at this universal law, the
law of relativity, right?
It states that all things arerelative, mind blown, right?
Anyway, there's no big, nosmall, fast, slow, ugly,
beautiful anything except bycomparison.
And all laws are related, theyall correspond to each other.

(01:30):
And again, there's nothing bigor small, fast or slow whatever,
except by comparison.
So everyone does somethingbetter than others.
I think a good example actuallyis if you look at myself and my
brothers.
I've got a brother three yearsolder and seven years older.
And every now and again, whenwe all get together as siblings,
there's six of us, I willchallenge them to a running race

(01:52):
, or maybe one of them willchallenge me, and I always win.
I've just always won for yearsand years, as long as we've done
these races.
And so if I'm running next tomy brothers, I'm a fast runner.
Now, if I run next to myhusband or a bunch of other
people in my family or friends,I'm a slow runner, right?
So am I fast or am I slow, which one is it?

(02:13):
I'm both, depending on who I'mcomparing myself to, and it's
the same for you and what you'vebeen doing.
What you're talking about isyou're looking at the way others
do something and you'recomparing it in a way where it

(02:35):
pulls you down rather than buildyourself and others up.
And often we think, oh, if webuild ourselves up, then we're
pulling someone else down.
No, we're just buildingourselves up.
You don't have to pull someonedown in order to build yourself
up.
You can build yourself up andbuild others up.
You can notice what someone doeswell.
Maybe they're very articulate,they're beautiful.

(02:58):
Maybe you think they're smart.
You're like, oh, they're sosmart at this.
Great, build them up and alsonotice where are you amazing,
what are your strengths thatyou're bringing to the table.
And it's OK to notice someoneelse where they are quote
unquote, if you're comparingdoing better than you.
Maybe, again, if we use theexample of being more articulate

(03:21):
at their messaging, that'sgreat.
Be inspired by that, like I'mso inspired by the way they are
articulate.
What can I do to emulate theskill in myself?
What can I do to build theskill in myself?
So, use this law of relativityto build others up, to build

(03:41):
yourself up.
But again, notice where you'rereally amazing, because we each
come with our unique thumb printof what we bring to this world,
like our knowledge, our gifts, our skills, our experience.
All of that makes us bring thisunique flavor to the world, and
if I speak specifically aboutcoaching in your business,
there's like a way that peopleget to work with you.

(04:03):
That's just really really goingto resonate with some people
and it's really not going toresonate with others.
That's all good, becauseeveryone has people who I
believe you can serve like in anamazing way.
That's really really helpfulfor them at different stages in
your life and their lives.
So just use this law to supportyourself and support others.

(04:28):
Use the law to highten yoursense of self-esteem and your
sense of gratitude for whatothers bring to the world and
what you bring to the world also.
Okay, we're all amazing, you'reamazing, I'm amazing.
We're amazing for differentthings, and that's great.

(04:49):
How boring would it be if wewere all amazing for the same
things in the same way?
Oh, my goodness, my brain justdoesn't even want to think about
that.
Okay, so I want you to have alook at what are the gifts, the
skills, the experience, knowledge, all the things you're
bringing to the table, and giveyourself a pat on the back

(05:13):
You're amazing, all right.
So, I want you to now imaginegoing and being visible.
If someone else had the sameskills that you had.
Would you tell them not to bevisible?
If someone were in the sameposition as you, someone else

(05:34):
with the same skill set, howwould you encourage them?
What would you highlight inthem?
If you need to do it as ifyou're someone else, do that
alright.
Remember my love.
Go be visible.
Love and sunshine.
I'll speak to you guys soon.
