Welcome back to another special episode of The Conscious Consultant Hour. Join us this week as we dive deep into the topic of sadness, and how we can use it to help us live more fully.

Sadness is something we often try to avoid, push away, or cover up. It can feel heavy and uncomfortable, and many of us have been taught that feeling sad means something is wrong with us. But sadness, like all emotions, has a purpose. It's not here to punish us but to reveal something important.

When we give ourselves permission to feel our sadness, rather than resisting it, we open the door to deeper healing and a more honest connection with ourselves.

Instead of seeing sadness as a problem to fix, what if we saw it as an invitation? Sadness invites us to slow down, to listen more carefully to the parts of ourselves that are hurting or longing for attention. It reminds us that we care deeply, that we have dreams, hopes, and connections that matter to us. By honoring our sadness instead of numbing it, we begin to build trust with ourselves and that trust lays the foundation for real growth and emotional freedom.

Living fully means welcoming all of who we are, even the parts that feel tender and raw. Sadness is not something to "get rid of" but something to work with, to learn from, and ultimately, to befriend. When we stop fighting our pain and start listening to it, we find that life opens up in new and surprising ways. We become more present, more compassionate, and more free to experience the richness of being human.

Tune in and share your own thoughts and feelings about sadness and how we can use it on our YouTube livestream or on our Facebook page.

Are You A Charlotte?

In 1997, actress Kristin Davis’ life was forever changed when she took on the role of Charlotte York in Sex and the City. As we watched Carrie, Samantha, Miranda and Charlotte navigate relationships in NYC, the show helped push once unacceptable conversation topics out of the shadows and altered the narrative around women and sex. We all saw ourselves in them as they searched for fulfillment in life, sex and friendships. Now, Kristin Davis wants to connect with you, the fans, and share untold stories and all the behind the scenes. Together, with Kristin and special guests, what will begin with Sex and the City will evolve into talks about themes that are still so relevant today. "Are you a Charlotte?" is much more than just rewatching this beloved show, it brings the past and the present together as we talk with heart, humor and of course some optimism.
