In this, the year of our Lord,November 2025.
SPEAKER_06 (00:46):
Welcome to the
Consider Podcast, where we
examine today's wisdom, folly,and madness.
More information can be found atwww.consider.info.
Now, here are your hosts,Timothy and Jacob.
SPEAKER_12 (01:05):
Well, I'm sad for
you today, Jacob.
Why's that?
Well, I had offered you abusiness opportunity of a
lifetime.
You turned it down.
So I'm not going to offer it toyou again.
There's been too many businessopportunities.
I know, but this one I said wewould run or whatever.
You know, you're a barber,right?
(01:25):
Yeah.
So I'm going to open up a chainaround the world, and if we ever
go to Mars, I'm going to attemptto go there.
And this called the CarriedCross Barber Shop.
Okay, yes.
It's a little bit different thanyour barber shop.
Go ahead and play the clip andlet me introduce it, and then
let's talk about the CarriedCross Barbershop.
SPEAKER_09 (01:49):
Grand opening
opportunity.
Announcing the grand opening ofthe Carrie Cross Barbershop.
(02:13):
Where your comment is his cut,the Consider Podcast.
Examining today's wisdom, folly,and madness.
www.consider.info.
SPEAKER_12 (02:34):
Isn't that a
beautiful graphic?
It is a nice graphic, yes.
It looks good.
I mean, the guy does great work, but that that one just like
shined.
You can tell he put some realdetail on that.
That wasn't just throwntogether.
Yeah.
SPEAKER_02 (02:46):
This is no AI.
This is not AI generated.
SPEAKER_12 (02:48):
Oh, no, no.
I tr no, I don't do AI.
Sometimes the voice is forscripture, but rare.
I like real human beings doingreal work, reading the
scriptures.
And usually people can tell.
But that's just my personalopinion.
All right.
So you're you're a barber,right?
People come in, they sit down, and what's the first question
(03:10):
you ask them?
SPEAKER_02 (03:12):
My cheesy line is
somewhat something about how uh
how short are we going to gotoday, or what do you want to do
today, or something like that.
All right.
SPEAKER_12 (03:20):
So it's totally up
to the person sitting in the
chair.
And by the way, you are a greatbarber.
You're one of the few barbers Iknow that I can actually say,
well, when I had hair, this iswhat I want done.
Anymore, I just sit down and go,well, cut what's left.
But uh any I I've told youbefore and I've gone to other
barbers because you weren'taround, you deserted me and
didn't uh cut my hair.
(03:42):
And I would say to them, youknow, they'd go, What do you
want?
And I'd go through my routine, Ican tell, I go, Well, just go
ahead, you'll get it.
And every single time it justcomes out the way they want to.
Correct, yeah.
Whatever they want to do.
Side beef.
That's not what this podcast isabout.
All right, Mr.
Barber.
So a man comes in, he's gothair, obviously.
(04:03):
What constitutes long hair on aman, Jacob?
SPEAKER_02 (04:07):
Oh, well, we've
we've talked about long hair,
short hair.
So uh long hair, I mean, if it'sif it's touching his shoulders,
right?
If it's hanging over past hisears down to his shoulders for a
man, that's getting pretty long.
That's like long hair.
SPEAKER_12 (04:22):
Okay.
All right.
I you know, it's a genericanswer because we debate it out
and we go all the way, but thetruth is that's really not even
the point.
A carried cross means you nolonger do what you want to do,
long or short.
Now, first 1 Corinthians 11 14is very, very clear, though it
does not seem to reflect in thechurch.
(04:43):
Does not the very nature ofthings teach you that if a man
has long hair, it is a disgraceto him?
So we got we kind of got that.
And what people usually turn tome and say, Well, how do you
know what's long?
Or how do you know what's short?
Well, since they can't decide,I'm gonna decide for them
because I've been picking up mycross a long time.
I've been hating my opinions along, long time.
(05:04):
I've been suffering with JesusChrist like Carry Across a long
time.
So what a carry across barbershop is, since they cannot hear
from the Lord, clearly they comein, they sit down, and they go,
okay, and then I instruct you ora barber to cut what the Lord is
saying they should have.
Yes.
They don't get a choice.
(05:25):
That's that's right.
Because they're Christians.
And so they always ask the Lord, what should my hair be?
How should it be cut?
Right?
Yes.
Okay, so that's the careeropportunity.
SPEAKER_02 (05:36):
You think I'm gonna
make a bunch of money?
I'm pretty sure you will notmake a bunch of money.
I'm pretty sure I believe yousaid you were gonna go worldwide
with this.
And uh I don't think yours.
Yeah, yeah, I don't think you'regoing uh this world uh to the
next planet.
All right.
They're gonna probably send meto the next planet.
Yeah, they might do that.
SPEAKER_12 (05:55):
Carried cross
barbershop's not gonna go over
too well.
Now, this is gonna be importantlater on.
It really fits in.
We're gonna be talking aboutRussell Brand if we can get
there, who needs a haircut and anew shirt.
SPEAKER_02 (06:06):
I do like your
saying, by the way, uh in the
graphic that's on the screen, you know, carried cross
barbershop and a cut from above.
I do.
From above.
That's pretty good.
Amen.
That's uh yeah, I like it.
SPEAKER_12 (06:15):
Okay, well, let's
go.
Let me I'm gonna dive into thisjust a little bit, which means
I'm gonna go longer than I needto.
Let's go to Leviticus chapter19, verse 27, because it it's
atrocious out there.
Yeah, I I was talking tosomebody the other day, they,
you know, they're wearing across, and it was obvious they
were a Christian.
And I said, You're a Christian.
Oh, yes, saved by grace.
No, you're saved by mercy, butgrace is the power to say no.
(06:38):
But I I didn't get any doctrinaldebates.
But then he shows me his arm andhe has his, he called it the
life scripture tattooed on hisarm.
Obviously, we're looking at aviolation, a disobedience.
I'm trying to Okay, Leviticus1927 says, Do not cut the hair
at the sides of your head orclip off the edges of your
(06:58):
beard.
Correct?
Correct.
All right, so it's not just longhair that's the issue.
It's that we should bereflecting the holiness of God
in the way that we're created,in the way that doesn't draw
attention to ourselves.
Now, Leviticus 1927, people go,well, that's the Old Testament,
right?
(07:19):
Isn't that the Old Testament?
So that doesn't apply.
And then, of course, I alwayslove the other one.
Well, Samson had long hair, andwe must have an awful lot of
Samsons running around.
But that that means, of course, they're gonna be taken captive
and their eyes are gonna beplucked out, but they don't ever
seem to go there.
Correct.
Well, read Leviticus 1928.
Go ahead and read that one.
SPEAKER_02 (07:40):
Do not cut your
bodies for the dead or put
tattoo marks on yourselves.
I am the Lord.
I am the Lord.
SPEAKER_12 (07:49):
You think he's
serious about that one?
Yes.
But people would say, oh, wellthat's the old testament, right?
Yes.
So so it doesn't really apply.
We're we're I don't know.
Do you know the lingo free andgrace?
We can do all these things.
SPEAKER_02 (08:01):
Free grace.
Yeah.
I mean, well, we're talking oncesaved, always saved.
You already you're a Christian, you accepted Jesus, so it
doesn't really matter.
SPEAKER_12 (08:10):
Well, and then that
well, they're acting like it's a
holy thing to mark their body.
Yeah, like it's a good thing.
Correct.
Oh, yeah, because you're like, fancy with their hair, it's
totally missing what the gospelcall is.
Correct.
And, you know, it's Satan lookedat himself and was amazed at his
beauty, and then became thedevil.
In the same way, when we dothings that draw attention to
(08:30):
ourselves, I mean that's whywomen are supposed to dress
modestly, and men should reflectthe holiness and the reverence
of God.
So you shouldn't see marks onthe body, you know, little
tattoo marks, and I don't know.
What do you call those thingswhen you go like, give me a
design or a cut or whatever?
I don't know what you call them.
Like a style?
You mean a haircut style?
Yeah, you know, the design.
(08:51):
It's got like ridges orsomething.
SPEAKER_02 (08:53):
Well, you it's just
a design and it's like shaved
into the side of the head.
You shave that part in down tothe skin.
But that's all Old Testament,right?
What do you mean that's OldTestament?
SPEAKER_12 (09:03):
Well, I mean, we're
reading Old Testament, right?
And so they don't have to liveany of this, so there's no need
to apply it.
I mean, you you you don't reallyhave to go for it because we're
free in Jesus.
Correct, you're free in Jesus.
You can do whatever you want.
Okay, so then verse 29 is okayto do.
Go ahead and read that.
SPEAKER_02 (09:17):
Do not degrade your
daughter by making her a
prostitute, or the land willturn to prostitution and be
filled with wickedness.
I that's okay to do, right?
Because it's old testament.
Uh-huh.
Well, he's saying don't degradeyour daughter by making her a
prostitute.
So most people Oh, oh, I think.
(09:38):
Yes.
That's Old Testament.
We're using the logic.
Correct.
Nowadays it would be okay.
That does not apply.
I'm afraid that anyway.
Yes, so would my reverse 30.
SPEAKER_12 (09:48):
Does that apply that
we should observe God's Sabbath
and have reverence for hissanctuary and the Lord?
SPEAKER_02 (09:53):
That does apply,
right?
Yes.
Everyone, all the Christiancircles agree you should go to
church regularly.
SPEAKER_12 (09:58):
Okay.
SPEAKER_02 (09:59):
All right.
SPEAKER_12 (09:59):
So if if we agree
with that, then what about do
not cut your hair, do not cutthe sides of your head, or clip
off the edges of your beard, donot cut your bodies, do not do
tattoos.
You think it all goes together?
SPEAKER_02 (10:10):
It all goes
together.
SPEAKER_12 (10:12):
Well, but since it's
old testament and I'm being just
an old fogey and I'm legalistic, then verse 31 must be okay to
do, right?
No, that's not okay to doeither.
Well, read it to everybody.
Because you're free in season.
And we want like Saul, we wantto seek the Lord.
(10:32):
So we're gonna do this becausethe New Testament's very clear.
SPEAKER_02 (10:36):
Jesus never says
anything about haircuts.
Correct.
Do not turn to mediums or seekout spiritists, for you will be
defiled by them.
I am the Lord your God.
SPEAKER_12 (10:47):
Okay, what do you
think, Jacob?
It's old testament.
Should it be lived or not lived?
Uh, I think it should be lived.
Okay, all scriptures are useful.
And I'm gonna read one more, butthere's uh I have a little
personal bias in this.
I need to admit this.
Go ahead and read verse 32.
SPEAKER_02 (11:03):
I think this should
be lived out.
Rise in the presence of theaged, show respect for the
elderly, and revere your God.
I am the Lord.
Amen.
SPEAKER_12 (11:16):
Amen.
Amen.
All right.
Enough on that topic.
I think I made it clear.
Carry across barbershop, you'regoing to want to invest now.
Give me a call.
If you don't know how long, short, or clean or decent your
hair should be, give me a buzz.
I'll be glad to seek the Lord.
In fact, you look around, therewas a you know, a Seattle
protest up there.
Christians went there, theyinterviewed the Christian, and
(11:37):
he's got this, you know, amohawk.
It's just sticking straight up.
And then you look at preacherspreaching, they're dressed like
they're going to some casualevent or something t-shirts.
I mean, it may be clean orwhatever, but there's no
reverence for God.
And this is what happens whenyou start tattooing your body,
bringing attention to yourself, people get lazy, there's no even
(11:59):
thought of the cross.
But that's not really the pointof the show of the day.
But wanted to start moving inthat direction.
All right.
So do you want to invest in it?
I'll I'll be glad to take yourmoney.
Yes, I'll invest.
Sure you will.
Okay.
It's been a really, really, really like really good week or
(12:20):
month actually for King Countyprosecutors.
Oh, it has?
They've had a good month.
Oh, let's go to Luke chapter 11,verse 50.
There is persecution againstChristians breaking out
everywhere.
They have to be ecstatic.
Prosecutor Simmons has to bethrilled because they're gonna,
they're lumped together with allof this that's going on.
(12:41):
In Luke chapter 11, verses 50through 51.
Let me read that.
Therefore, this generation, thisis Jesus talking, therefore,
this generation will be heldresponsible for the blood of all
the prophets that has been shedsince the beginning of the
world, from the blood of Abel tothe blood of Zachariah, who was
(13:02):
killed between the altar and thesanctuary.
And as if he didn't emphasize itenough, Jesus goes on to say,
Yes, I tell you, there'sauthority in this from Jesus
Christ.
This generation will be heldresponsible for it all.
When King County prosecutorslabel this as a cult, when they
(13:23):
framed an innocent man in orderto take down the cult, they are
part of this whole generationsince that, beginning with Abel,
and they will be lumped togetherwhen it comes to judgment day.
And I and you know what, just ona basic level, let me explain
why Jesus is saying that.
King County prosecutors don't donot even have to look far back
(13:45):
in history.
All you can do is look at whatthe Nazis did.
All you gotta do is look at theinjustice that was down south.
I mean, there are literallyuntold numbers of injustice.
And for them to turn around anddo what they did to Sound
Doctrine Church, to me, to otherindividuals, to those young in
(14:06):
the faith is reprehensible.
There's no excuse.
That's why Jesus says you'rejust going to be put in the same
pot and set down to where it isvery hot.
Any comment on that so far,Jacob?
No.
Again, as I said, it's been areally good time for prosecutors
of Seattle King County.
Remember, the um uh theChristians had the event down
(14:27):
there at the park, and they theythere are literally police
records of the those thatopposed the Christians being
there saying they were going tokill them and their children,
and yet no hate crime chargeswere filed.
Were ever filed, yeah.
So they're all just a part ofit.
They just excuse it, they'rejust overlooking it.
(14:48):
Indeed, looking at DetectiveGrant McCall as he literally
live in court groom somebody fora false accusation and and the
prosecutors and everybody justignore it as if it's nothing.
No wonder the jury thought itwas nothing because of the
prosecutors and the currentpeople in charge to just look at
that and go, eh, it's no bigdeal.
Cops always groom and theyalways lead people into
(15:11):
accusation.
That's the only thing a jurycould assume, correct?
Correct.
All right.
Well, a judge ruled that all theTen Commandments in 14 public
schools had to be removed.
That's that must be good news toKing County prosecutors because
there's more of just removing, you know, all those evil aspects
of the Ten Commandments.
We wouldn't want anybodyactually being confronted with
(15:33):
those, right?
So those are being removed.
Uh there's a link there if youwant to point to it, but I don't
think anybody doubts me.
Okay, yeah.
Then if you really think there'sa problem, go to Europe and look
at what's going there.
They're literally persecutingheavily handed Christians in
England and Europe and thatwhole area.
You can't you can't say, think,act.
You can't even go outside anabortion clinic and stand there
(15:57):
and be quiet and do nothing butstand.
And it's only going to getworse.
All right, now let's move on.
Play this next clip, Jacob.
And this is a mayor who's aMuslim and listen to what he
says.
SPEAKER_05 (16:14):
I think it's quite
hypocritical to know that you're
approaching this podium when youyourself have videos on YouTube
standing in front of my mosque, saying the cruelest of things
about Muslims, about thereligion of Islam.
Because you are a bigot and youare a racist, and you are an
Islamophobe.
And although you live here, Iwant you to know as mayor, you
(16:35):
are not welcome here.
And the day you move out of thecity will be the day that I
launch a parade celebrating thefact that you moved out of the
city.
Because you are not somebody whobelieves in coexistence.
Uh, you're somebody who tries topreach it, uh, but in fact, you
do everything uh but that.
So I just want to put that onthe record.
Okay.
SPEAKER_12 (16:54):
Uh yeah, well, it's
on record, all right.
Okay.
That is a mayor in the UnitedStates of America.
In the the the that is the mostcomplete hypocrisy I've ever
seen.
He's getting a Christian hadgotten up and you know, voices,
concern.
Obviously, it's a legit concern.
If that's the attitude of themayor, that's going to translate
(17:17):
all the way down into everyaspect of that city, the police
department and everywhere else.
I mean, all you can do is lookat the city of Eamonclaw, for an
example.
If one bad cop can manipulatethe whole situation to run
everybody out of town anddestroy everybody that they can,
and the police chiefs that havecome along said, Oh, yeah,
that's all good.
You think this is going to turnout well?
No.
(17:38):
The hypocrisy is many.
I chat I typed into Chat DPbecause I wanted to know, you
know, a little bit of who he isand what's going on.
SPEAKER_04 (17:44):
Yeah.
SPEAKER_12 (17:44):
And somebody needs
to clean that up because it
totally whitewashes what hedoes.
It started by saying, Well, everybody says things they
don't, and it was a heatedconversation a little bit, and
I'm going, wow, this is so Ikeep debating.
I never kind of stop with ChatDP till I've gotten where I need
to go.
So I finally get to go, I go,that's just whitewash.
(18:05):
It's just hypocrisy.
And then it goes on to say, yes,it is hypocrisy.
Uh-huh.
And then it goes on there.
So you can win the argument, butthe initial layer is always a
justification against Christiansor a justification against
others.
Any comments on that particularcomment, Jacob?
SPEAKER_02 (18:23):
Well, only uh you
said it like it's hypocritical
because the guy I've never seenthe clip.
That was the first time I'veever seen it.
Uh, because the guy is sayingthat the mayor is saying the
other guy doesn't want tocoexist.
But then, well, clearly themayor doesn't want to coexist
because he's gonna throw aparade when the guy leaves.
So clear you don't want tocoexist either, but you're
saying he doesn't.
Yeah, it's like it's it'stotally hypocritical.
SPEAKER_12 (18:44):
Oh, law enforcement
needs to be checking this mayor
out because the there's no waythis is not translating to
action behind the scenes.
You know it is.
No way.
You know it is, and of coursethe rest of the city council
just in fact, I we don't want toplay the whole clip, but the the
there's another guy that says,as the Christian speaking, look,
we don't want to do personalattacks, and we don't want to do
this, and you need to talk nicewhen you're here, but then the
(19:06):
mayor does this little speech.
Nobody says a word up there.
They act like, well, that's justfine and dandy.
Um my concern really here is thepersecution is coming.
Yeah.
We could be here hours for eachpodcast going through all the
things that are happening.
I'm concerned about the childrenof those who claim to be
(19:29):
Christian because they are notprepared for what these people
are gonna do, and they're gonnado it.
Yeah.
I mean, the current I can'tpronounce his name, the current
uh I think it's a mayor of NewYork.
SPEAKER_02 (19:39):
Yeah, the socialist
guy.
Go ahead.
No, yeah, the social yeah, Ican't zerami.
Zerami.
That's better than I can do.
Something like that.
SPEAKER_12 (19:48):
He wants to replace
the police with social workers.
Now, the reason he wants to dothat, of course, is because
social workers don't follow theConstitution.
Correct.
They don't even follow the law.
They just neither do cops.
So convoluted.
Um, it is something that needsto be done away with, or
certainly there needs to be lawspassed that it's not a civil
matter.
(20:08):
Everything falls under from theConstitution of the United
States and the Bill of Rights.
Every government agency shouldbe required to obey the
Constitution.
Man, isn't that radical?
That that's just bizarre, isn'tit?
It's bizarre that they don't.
Oh, yeah, I'm being sarcastic.
No, correct.
I know, yeah.
You can go.
Yeah.
SPEAKER_04 (20:27):
Yeah.
SPEAKER_12 (20:28):
Um, this is bad
enough.
Yeah.
What this mayor is saying.
And and then again, the mayor inNew York, he wants to replace
police with social workers, andhe also despises Trump and the
whole bit.
It it's it's bad news, people.
Bad damn.
Um the church needs to wake up.
And you know, when I say wakeup, I don't mean protest,
although God might lead that.
(20:49):
I don't mean all this stuff thatyou see going on.
I mean get back to the Word ofGod, pick up your cross, learn
to start hearing from the HolySpirit, because that's the only
way that you're going to quoteunquote survive.
That's a whole different topic.
So you have to be taught by theHoly Spirit to hate your own
life and to surrender yourfamily to God.
(21:10):
That takes some realdiscipleship and discipline from
the living God.
All right, so that's bad enough, right, Jacob?
Yeah, that's pretty bad.
Okay.
Hang on to your hat.
And speaking of social servicesand family court, which is a
total lie.
It's not family court by anymeans.
(21:33):
Play this next clip and listencarefully.
It's a little bit long, butlisten to what this judge did.
And by the way, they don't listthe name of the judge.
I couldn't find the name of thejudge.
Um I don't know, are theycowards or whatever?
This judge should thoroughly beinvestigated by law enforcement.
That's how far it is.
Now, this this particular issuehas gone to the main Supreme
(21:56):
Court, but there's no waythey're going to come back and
go, this guy needs to be fired,um, he needs to be investigated,
possibly even prison time.
Go ahead and play it and you'llsee why.
SPEAKER_01 (22:09):
Child custody
disputes can often involve
challenging and unexpectedcircumstances.
But a recent ruling from a judgein Maine has raised concerns
about discrimination againstChristians.
Emily Bickford has a daughternamed Ava, who will turn
thirteen in January from herrelationship with Matt Bradine.
While Emily has primary custody,Matt has visitation rights.
(22:33):
Emily, as a Christian, hassought to instill a foundation
of faith in Ava, which Matt, thenon-custodial father, opposes,
reportedly harboring negativeviews towards Christianity.
Matt took the matter to court, seeking the help of a former
ACLU president, who is now ajudge, igniting a conflict over
(22:54):
religious beliefs.
The judge's custody order hasbeen criticized as overtly
antagonistic towardsChristianity.
The ruling prohibits Ava fromassociating with her church
friends, attending churchservices or Christian events,
and even restricts her fromstudying the Bible, engaging in
religious philosophy, ordiscussing her faith with her
(23:16):
mother.
Additionally, Ava is barred fromparticipating in Christian
holiday celebrations, such asChristmas.
According to Liberty Council,Emily and Ava had been attending
Calvary Chapel, an evangelicalChristian church in Portland,
Maine, for three and a halfyears.
Trouble arose when Ava expressedher excitement about her
(23:37):
upcoming baptism to her father.
Instead of sharing in herenthusiasm, Matt sought the
court's intervention andproduced a former sociology
professor from California as awitness.
This witness claimed thatCalvary Chapel and any church
adhering to biblical teachingsis a cult that inflicts
(23:59):
psychological harm on children.
While the judge acknowledgedthat Emily is a fit parent, this
was negated solely by herChristian beliefs, stated Matt
Staver.
Stated Matt Stavar, founder andchairman of Liberty Council.
Stavrer pointed out, Staverpointed out that the judge even
mocked Ava and Emily's faith bydeliberately refusing to
(24:22):
capitalize the word God into apeculiar and unprecedented
action.
The judge reprimanded Emily forallowing the church pastor to
pray for Ava and ruled thatEmily could take Ava to no
church without Matt's approval, which he has consistently
withheld.
The order's restrictions areextensive.
Ava is prohibited fromassociating with any of her
(24:45):
church friends or any members ofCalvary Chapel Portland.
If Ava befriends someone outsideof Calvary who later starts
attending the church, she mustsever ties with that friend.
Ava cannot participate in anyChristmas, Easter, or Christian
celebrations at any church, including weddings, funerals, or
(25:07):
hospital visits involving anyoneconnected to Calvary Chapel.
Ava is barred from engaging withany religious organizations
which encompasses groups likethe Salvation Army or any food
banks, homeless shelters, orcrisis pregnancy centers.
There are also strictrestrictions against Ava reading
(25:28):
the Bible or any religiousliterature or being exposed to
religious philosophy.
Furthermore, Matt is leveragingthe court ruling to prevent
Emily from reading the Bible orimparting any knowledge about
the Christian faith to Ava in atroubling situation.
This order has severed a crucialsource of emotional support for
(25:49):
Ava, causing her to lose friendsat a formative time in her
social development, and thesituation has persisted since
December 2024.
Last Thursday, Liberty Councilpresented oral arguments before
the main Supreme Court, seekingto overturn this alarming
custody order.
The majority of justicessuggested that the order
(26:12):
demonstrates hostility towardreligion and represents an
extreme measure by strippingdecision-making authority from a
clearly competent parentregarding her daughter's
religious upbringing, Staverconcluded.
Staver concluded.
Emily and Ava are now awaitingthe main Supreme Court's ruling
on the matter.
SPEAKER_02 (26:41):
What about you know
what I mean?
SPEAKER_12 (26:43):
Let you doubt not.
You better believe it, wouldn't,or a gay couple.
The ruling prohibits Ava fromassociating with her church
friends, attending churchservices, or Christian events,
and even restricts her fromstudying the Bible, engaging in
religious philosophy, ordiscussing her faith with her
(27:05):
mother.
Additionally, Ava is barred fromparticipating in Christian
holidays, celebrations such asChristmas.
Oh, there's joy in King Countyprosecutors' offices.
They don't celebrate Christmas.
Right?
SPEAKER_02 (27:21):
Uh I'm it has to be
celebrated their way.
Well, yeah, so Ava can'tcelebrate any Christ.
Wait, so so then shouldn'tshouldn't the dad be like
arrested for not doing Christmaspresents?
Uh-huh.
Uh this whole thing is it'scompletely man, it's illegal.
SPEAKER_12 (27:41):
It's super illegal.
SPEAKER_02 (27:44):
Where's Trump and
the old DOJ?
Whatever happened to religiousfreedom at all.
SPEAKER_12 (27:49):
Let's go further.
Where are all the ministries, the Billy Graham ministries, all
these big time ministries?
What where?
Where are they at?
They're completely silent onthis stuff.
This should be an overwhelmingreaction.
The wording here may be part ofjust what's being written, but
the mainstream court found thistroubling.
(28:12):
Yeah, you think you think thisis way out on the extreme.
Now, the problem here is thisstuff's going on all the time.
This guy just happens to push itfurther than we normally see.
Correct.
And this happens because KingCounty prosecutors got by.
I mean, they got by with whatthey did.
At least this would have been anhonest fight.
You know, if King Countyprosecutors were to come on and
(28:34):
we had this kind of ruling, okay, fine.
That's a clear fight.
We'll go at it.
No, they were worse off.
They went and found somebodythey could frame and took down
the church.
So there's no difference here interms of the effect.
SPEAKER_02 (28:47):
No.
SPEAKER_12 (28:49):
And you especially
love the uh sociologist
professor who determined thatall Christianity is a cult.
Oh, yeah.
All of it.
All of it.
Says Matt sought the court'sintervention and produced a
former sociology professor fromCalifornia.
Oh, there's a shock as awitness.
(29:11):
This witness claimed thatCalvary Chapel and any church,
any church adhering to biblicalteachings is a cult that
inflicts psychological harm onchildren.
Oh, Prosecutor Simmons issalvating.
This may be his nighttimereading that helps put him to
sleep at night.
It may be.
(29:32):
Staggering.
I I know we're just kind ofrepeating this, but that you
know, that if she has friendsand those friends later decide
to go to that church and theybecome Christians and tend that
church, she has to sever herrelationship with those friends.
This is this is a talk aboutpsychological harm.
Yeah.
Christians, you better wake upbecause this is the kind you're
(29:54):
gonna start seeing this more andmore.
SPEAKER_02 (29:55):
Yeah.
SPEAKER_12 (29:56):
The main Supreme
Court, let me let me give you
isn't this not prophecy?
I'm just telling you what.
Courts normally do.
They're going to come backgoing, Yeah, it's a little bit
in the extreme, you know, thisshouldn't happen.
Either go back and review it, orthey're not going to strip the
whole thing.
They're going to leave this, whoever this judge is, man or
woman, they're going to leavethem the freedom to stay in
(30:16):
their job and do what they'regoing to do.
Correct.
When the Maine Supreme Courtshould slap this down with every
legal avenue they can callingfor every investigation.
No telling how many otherfamilies this judge has ruined.
SPEAKER_02 (30:30):
Correct, already,
yeah.
Massively.
Where's Tucker Carlson?
Tucker Carlson's in Maine.
He's hanging out in his cabin inMaine.
Where sold Tucker boy?
SPEAKER_12 (30:42):
We're too busy in
conspiracy theories.
You know, if Christiansconcentrated on the small
things, and I'm putting this inquote with this, instead of all
these big conspiracy theories, far more good would be done for
Jesus Christ.
Correct.
Far more good.
You don't wait until it's so bigthat it's a conspiracy theory,
and that's what happened.
(31:07):
We can talk about UFOs and wecan do all this and we can do
all that over here.
And at the end of the day, thealiens are going to land in
their flying saucer and give theworld the philosophy that it
wants and do all kinds ofamazing things.
Nothing that Tucker Carlson issaying is going to make a bit of
difference.
It's not going to help.
(31:28):
Correct.
The only thing that would helpis if he actually became a true
disciple of Jesus and began topreach that to people, but
that's not what's going on here.
So Emily suffers, and they'rethe quiet ones in the land that
are destroyed, just like us.
The reason why we don't get anyhelp is because it seems like
(31:49):
we're too far in the fringe.
We don't totally agree.
It's not interesting.
It's got you got to get intodetails.
You actually have to get yourhands in the dirt.
You actually have to bleed.
You actually have to do somework to bring about justice.
But you can talk about I cantalk about aliens all day long.
You want to talk about aliens,Jacob?
SPEAKER_02 (32:08):
No, not really.
SPEAKER_12 (32:09):
No, I'm not talking
about illegal aliens.
I'm talking about, you know, no,I'm not sure.
You know that asteroid out therethat maybe spaceship that's
heading our way to the body.
Let's talk about that.
SPEAKER_02 (32:19):
It's not actually
it's not fun.
It's the least of my concerns.
SPEAKER_12 (32:23):
Really?
You're not worried.
What happens?
I'm being told in the news allthe time this is earth
shattering.
This is like we we don't knowwhether they have good
intentions or bad intentions, and they could be landing and
all kinds of things.
Um you're not worried aboutthat, Jacob?
No, I'm not worried about that.
Yeah, well, I'll worry about itwhen it actually Did you see the
um movie called Signs with uhMel Gibson?
(32:45):
I did, yes.
Well, I've got my bucket ofwater ready and what do you got
a baseball bat, right?
Baseball, water and tinfoilhats.
Aluminum tin four.
Tinfoil hats, yep.
But you can't baptize thembecause uh the water kills them.
So I've uh I posted a thing onthere.
Look, people, the whole universeis a fallen universe.
Everything within our universe, our whole universe, is fallen,
(33:09):
is corrupt, is evil, is sinful.
So here's what's gonna happen.
The aliens are gonna land andthey're gonna give us all kinds
of good hope.
They're gonna be able to healpeople and they're gonna be able
to stop wars.
They might even bring aquasi-human DNA.
Hey, we put this together.
They'll claim that Jesus was,you know, a space alien and he
(33:31):
landed, he just kind of wentrogue and he misunderstood.
I they'll have all kinds ofvarious philosophies, and
they'll take control of thewhole world, and the whole world
will go for it.
And only those who know theirGod, or rather, God knows them,
and they've been picking uptheir cross, hating their own
life, willing to sacrificeeverything, including their
family, not to mention boats, cars and everything else, and to
(33:53):
hate and despise money, will begiven the grace, the power to
say no to space aliens.
Sounds kind of reasonable,right?
Yes, it does.
All right, in the meantime,Emily suffers, and it reminds me
of the scripture in Jeremiahchapter two, verse thirty-four.
(34:16):
Jeremiah chapter two, versethirty-four says, On your
clothes men find the lifebloodof the innocent poor.
That's Emily.
That the court system would caveto such a radically hostile
quote unquote father is absurd.
It says though you did not catchthem breaking in.
(34:39):
That's social services.
You know, they don't comebreaking in, they're not
thieves.
It's not obvious.
It is the termites of society.
They come in, they havedestroyed parental authority.
All family court does is dividefamilies and pitting people
against one another.
They don't have a clue what'sgoing on.
On your clothes, men find thelifeblood of the innocent poor.
(35:03):
That's Emily's situation and herdaughter Ava.
It it's just absurd.
Um, and then of course, now youknow you have this court
presidents, right?
And since this social workerfrom California has determined
that all Christian churches area cult that inflicts
psychological harm on children, now you have a president.
(35:23):
So the Washington StateProsecutors Association or
organization, whatever it'scalled, can say, Oh, yeah, yeah,
that's in the law books now.
We have a president for that.
Just like setting up MalcolmFrazier is now approved because
Judge Laurie K.
Smith came along and strippedevery single right of a defense.
In fact, it should have nevergone to trial, should be thrown
out.
You got a cop sitting in a roomdeleting evidence, you know,
(35:47):
grooming, stroking, movingthings forward.
And we had all the backstoryevidence of the hate crime that
was going on.
It's not like she threw it out.
She went right for it.
She did what's listed here.
There's no there's nodifference.
SPEAKER_02 (36:00):
Yeah.
SPEAKER_12 (36:01):
Uh there are also
strict restrictions against Ava
reading the Bible.
Unbelievable.
Unbelievable.
Not not even to be tolerated.
All right.
Anything else on that, Mr.
Jacob?
SPEAKER_02 (36:13):
No.
SPEAKER_12 (36:14):
And by the way,
Jacob, where are all the other
judges in the United States andprosecutors and police and other
social workers and everygovernment official saying that
this particular judge, whoevershe or he is, should be fired
minimum.
SPEAKER_02 (36:34):
Well, m well, I
haven't heard of anybody saying
that yet.
SPEAKER_12 (36:37):
No.
Yeah.
Nobody's saying it.
So by their silence, they'reapproving.
And you know they're doing it.
Which, by the way, this would bea really good point to.
I need to do a warning.
This is a special service tosociety and that and uh
especially Washington State.
You need to be sure you film andtake pictures of your
(36:58):
Thanksgiving celebration.
Play the warning clip and let'stalk about it.
SPEAKER_09 (37:08):
This is not a test.
This is not a test.
The following public warning isnot a test.
Warning.
Washington state prosecutors andjudges will punish Christians
who do not celebrateThanksgiving their way.
(37:29):
According to Judge Laurie KingSmith, do not obey Jesus.
Repeat, do not obey Jesus.
Or prosecutor Jason Simmons willpunish.
Jesus said to his host, When yougive a luncheon or dinner, do
not invite your friends, yourbrothers, or relatives, or your
(37:49):
rich neighbors.
If you do, they may invite youback, and so you will be repaid.
Luke 14, 12.
The Consider Podcast.
Examining today's wisdom, folly,and madness.
SPEAKER_12 (38:18):
But you also
remember how Jason Simmons and
Judge Laurie case Smith and allthese fine false witnesses that
testified salivated to make itsound sinister, evil, and
cultish.
Do you remember that?
SPEAKER_02 (38:33):
Uh yeah, except I
remember I thought it was more
Christmas.
I thought they had their theirversions of Christmas.
Wasn't that their main issue?
SPEAKER_12 (38:40):
Oh, it was.
It was.
They they threw in Thanksgivingwhat Simmons would do, he'd
throw out it was a tactic.
He'd throw out five or differentthings at once, and then you
answer the one question at theend, and he would think he's
getting the answer he wants, andso a jury's gonna fall for it
thinking, oh, well, then all theother questions must have been
true too.
So in other words, you throw outa bunch of doubts, like, yeah,
it's sunny outside, or it's darkoutside, or it's this over here,
(39:03):
and it's that over here, andthen I go, Jacob, how are you
doing today?
And you go, fine.
So you you it's a ta it's anevil tactic instead of one
question at a time and lettingthe witness answer to get to the
truth, you bunch this alltogether so that when the person
finally has to answer the lastthing you're saying and they
(39:23):
forgot about the first thingyou're saying, you've planted
all these evil suspicions.
It's very wicked.
It's not it shouldn't even belegal.
It may not even be legal becauseJudge Laurie K.
Smith violated like everyprinciple of law in her
courtroom.
Got sidetracked a little bitthere, but now here's the
problem with this warning.
No Christian's gonna support mein it.
(39:45):
True.
And why is that?
Why is no Christian gonnasupport me in this warning?
SPEAKER_02 (39:50):
Because they love
turkey.
SPEAKER_12 (39:52):
Well, that's a
goddess their stomach.
That's right.
Go to Luke chapter 14, 12,Jacob, and you tell me, have you
ever, ever seen or heard anybodyobey Jesus in this?
SPEAKER_02 (40:08):
Uh should I read it
first?
Sure, go for it.
Then Jesus said to his host,When you give a luncheon or
dinner, do not invite yourfriends, your brothers or
relatives, or your richneighbors.
If you do, they may invite youback, and so you will be repaid.
I I think that's a pretty clearcommandment, don't you?
Yes, it is.
(40:29):
Have you ever seen it lived out?
Uh no.
They uh people always invitetheir friends, their relatives,
uh, neighbors in general, andthen they always love to get
invited back.
SPEAKER_12 (40:41):
Right.
And certainly rich neighborsyou'd invite.
So Thanksgiving's coming up,holiday, which is also supposed
to mean holy day, butThanksgiving is there, right?
So Christians everywhere are notgoing to get together because
it's a prime time to set theexample, if nothing else, by not
inviting your family.
(41:02):
Isn't that what Jesus said?
That is what Jesus said.
When you give a luncheon or adinner, Thanksgiving would apply
apply to that.
Do not, do not invite yourfriends.
So Christians all in churcheseverywhere this Thanksgiving are
not going to invite theirfriends or their brothers or
their relatives.
SPEAKER_02 (41:23):
Right?
Uh no, they will invite all ofthose people.
SPEAKER_12 (41:26):
So now all the
Christians are sitting there
thinking, well, you deserve tobe prosecuted.
You deserve to be drug into KingCounty courts and made to appear
as a cult.
Let's explain people to exactlywhat we did do.
I know you remember.
It was called wineskins, wasn'tit, Jacob?
Mm-hmm.
Yep.
And we it was a tremendousamount of joy for those that
(41:49):
don't understand joy.
It was a lot of fun, wasn't it?
Mm-hmm.
We got together.
Um nobody was forced to come.
It wasn't a requirement.
Everybody wanted to be there,correct?
Correct.
And in fact, we would haveinvited friends, family, anybody
else was welcome to come also, correct?
Correct.
All right.
(42:09):
So all of these people thatslandered and had concerns and
contacted King Countyprosecutors and this is a call.
Did they ever come to Wineskinsto observe?
Uh no, they did not.
Did they ever come to church toobserve and to look around?
SPEAKER_02 (42:22):
Uh I don't remember
them coming to church.
SPEAKER_12 (42:25):
Yeah.
It would have been they so youget the point.
I get the point.
So what you need to do isChristians, since prosecutors in
King County Court, Judge LaurieK.
Smith, the current prosecutor, and it doesn't matter who
changes who's voted in, they'reall doing the same thing because
they've done nothing, absolutelynothing, to correct the
(42:46):
illegalities of what DetectiveGrant McCall and the
co-conspirator did.
Nothing.
Nothing whatsoever.
So you can be sure what you needto do is make sure you
videotape, take pictures, showall the pagan things you do so
that when you're drug into courtand your church is called a cult
and you didn't celebrateThanksgiving or Christmas
(43:07):
exactly to how prosecutor JasonSimmons wanted it done, or King
County courts, or judges, orpolice or whoever, you can pull
out as evidence, no, I was therefor the turkey cutting and I was
there for the gravy.
And I don't know, Jacob, isthere a lot of there's parades
that go on?
Be sure you film that that'sgoing on.
Talk about how the good time youhave.
Make sure you have yourevidence, keep that on file.
(43:29):
Put it in a safe somewherebecause they will and have gone
for Christians who don'tcelebrate Thanksgiving according
to their beliefs.
That's correct.
Play the public warning one moretime, Jacob, and let's get into
(43:50):
the next topic.
SPEAKER_09 (43:59):
This is not a test.
This is not a test.
The following public warning isnot a test.
Warning.
Washington state prosecutors andjudges will punish Christians
who do not celebrateThanksgiving their way.
(44:19):
According to Judge Laurie KingSmith, do not obey Jesus.
Repeat, do not obey Jesus.
Or prosecutor Jason Simmons willpunish.
Jesus said to his host, When yougive a luncheon or dinner, do
not invite your friends, yourbrothers, or relatives, or your
(44:40):
rich neighbors.
If you do, they may invite youback, and so you will be repaid.
Luke 14, 12.

www.consider.info.
SPEAKER_12 (45:02):
Again, just to
summarize, Jason Simmons said,
So, did you celebrate anyholidays where he lumped it all
together?
Did any of that ring a bell,Jacob?
Oh yeah.
SPEAKER_02 (45:13):
He was fishing on
holidays.
SPEAKER_12 (45:15):
All right.
Let's go to the next topic, andthis one is very concerning in a
very serious kind of way.
Um go to 1 Corinthians 3 10first before we play the clip.
You know, as I've watched thecultural Christianity slide from
(45:36):
the Word of God, and it's kindof weird.
The more they slide from theWord of God, the more they say
the Word of God.
But it's not the same oldlukewarm cherry-picking this
scripture here and thisscripture, and there's no
foundation anymore.
I mean, there there used to belooking back, I'm gonna have to
go 15, 20 years or at least wasa foundation of sand and that
(45:58):
kind of thing.
But now we're at a point whenthose who claim to be
Christians, there's just nofoundation whatsoever.
SPEAKER_02 (46:06):
First Corinthians 3
10, go ahead and read that,
Jacob.
By the grace God has given me, Ilaid a foundation as an expert
builder, and someone else isbuilding on it.
But each one should be carefulhow he builds.
SPEAKER_12 (46:23):
Amen.
There's no need to build onthat.
You you need people that knowhow to lay a foundation as an
expert builder.
It's not just asking Jesus intoyour heart.
By the way, that's that's noteven the salvation call.
It's not asking Jesus into yourheart, and then just going on
your merry way.
Colossians 4, verses 5 through6.
(46:44):
Let me set the tone here.
Colossians 4, 5 through 6 says,Be wise in the way you act
toward outsiders.
That seems pretty obvious,correct?
Yes.
I mean, that's not even a deepfoundation, that's just part of
the foundation.
Make the most of everyopportunity.
Let your conversation be alwaysfull of grace, always offering
(47:07):
mercy, always offeringrepentance, full of grace,
seasoned with salt.
Oh, there's a tone there.
There there's there's there's asolidness there with what's
being said, so that you may knowhow to answer everyone.
Well, let's talk about RussellBrand and see what foundation is
being laid, and play this nextclip.
And this just happened onInfoWars recently.
(47:30):
Go ahead, Jacob.
SPEAKER_11 (47:32):
Colossians 4, verse
5, verse 6.
Be wise the way you act towardoutsiders.
Make the most of everyopportunity.
Let your conversation be alwaysfull of grace, seasoned with
salt, so that you may know howto answer everyone.
SPEAKER_08 (47:48):
Look at that! You
mad old silverback!
SPEAKER_07 (47:51):
You mad old
conspiracy theory, silverback,
you Elon! You let him back on X!You caused this Musk! You caused
this! Thank you, Rumble! Thankyou! All of you revolutionary
radicals! This is the only bitpeople are gonna see.
(48:11):
All that stuff about G.
I use a lovely beef tallow tokeep Alex Jones' nipples fresher
than ever.
If you tallow those nipplesgood, then Bill Gates can suck
upon those teats like Romulusand Remus.
Bill Gates has millions of acresnow of land.
What's that with that farm landgrab?
Bill Gates wouldn't survive innature.
(48:33):
I say we release Bill Gates backinto the wild and see how long
he lasts.
SPEAKER_12 (48:38):
What exactly changed
with Russell Brand now that he
became a Christian, Jacob?
SPEAKER_02 (48:42):
Uh uh.
I d maybe he doesn't quite cussas much.
I I don't know because I don'tfollow Russell Bland, but uh
clearly he still has a lot of uhantics.
SPEAKER_12 (48:53):
Maybe there's no
foundation there.
Correct.
The hair is long, the shirt isopen, the well he's not on
drugs.
SPEAKER_02 (49:00):
He used to do
hardcore drugs, and we can
assume that he's probably onlyon prescription drugs now.
But other than that, there's notmuch difference.
SPEAKER_12 (49:09):
Uh well, you bring
up another point.
You know, his he's being chargedwith some very serious crimes.
And I don't want to get intothat, but his lawyers have to be
kind of like turning over alittle bit here.
This is not the kind of behavioryou want to be having on a legal
sense.
But by the way, and the reasonthat I bring that up, if God
(49:31):
really loves Russell Brand, he'sgoing to have to discipline.
He's gonna have to pull thisattention away, he's gonna have
to stop the weeds that he'saround.
You know, Jesus warned aboutthis the word of God or the
seeds that fall among weeds andit gets choked out.
He needed to stop what he wasdoing and just go seek the Lord
(49:54):
and lay a good foundation, findsomebody that can do that.
Clearly, I think he's uh claimsto be Catholic.
They're not laying a goodfoundation.
There is no foundation there.
It's a bad foundation at best.
Yeah.
That's why Paul will say, I laida foundation as an expert
builder.
But this is not even a thisthere's no difference here
between when he was not aChristian to where he is now.
(50:16):
And in fact, he doesn't thankGod.
Who does he thank?
Uh Rumble.
Rumble.
Yeah.
So he's not even praising God.
There's just there's justnothing there.
And that's why I say if Godreally loves him, he's gonna
have to do something to pullthis away.
And no discipline seems pleasantat the time, so it's gonna be
tough.
(50:37):
Proverbs 9-13.
Let's read that.
Proverbs 9-13.
You saw how you know he'spulling off the shirts and he's
pointing to his body and howfitty is and all of those
things.
Scripture is very clear do notlet the wise man boast of his
(50:59):
wisdom, nor the strong man ofhis strength.
Pointing back to yourself likethis is of Satan.
It's of the sinful nature.
It's not of Jesus Christ, it'snot the new creation.
Proverbs 9 13, Jacob, go aheadand read that.
SPEAKER_02 (51:14):
The woman folly is
loud.
She is undisciplined and withoutknowledge.
That's exactly what wewitnessed, didn't we?
SPEAKER_12 (51:23):
The woman folly is
loud.
He's voiced all over the place.
And his podcasts are like that.
Um she or he is undisciplinedand without knowledge.
Clearly, there's no reflectionof Jesus Christ.
Otherwise, he'd had a haircut.
1 Corinthians 11, 14.
That's why he didn't enter theCarrie Cross barbershop.
Does not the very nature ofthings teach you that if a man
(51:46):
has long hair, it is a disgraceto him.
He's walking around with adisgrace.
But then if a woman has longhair, it is for her glory.
Play it one more time and let'slet's talk about something a
little bit more.
SPEAKER_11 (52:02):
Colossians 4, verse
5, verse 6, be wise the way you
act toward outsiders.
Make the most of everyopportunity.
Let your conversation be alwaysfull of grace, seasoned with
salt, so that you may know howto answer everyone.
SPEAKER_08 (52:18):
Look at that! You
mad old silverback!
SPEAKER_07 (52:22):
You mad old
conspiracy theory, silverback,
you Elon! You let him back on X!You caused this Musk! You caused
this! Thank you, Rumble! Thankyou! All of you revolutionary
radicals! This is the only bitpeople are gonna see.
(52:42):
All that stuff about G.
I use a lovely beef tallow tokeep Alex Jones' nipples fresher
than ever.
If you tallow those nipplesgood, then Bill Gates can suck
upon those teats like Romulusand Remus.
Bill Gates has millions of acresnow of land.
What's that with that farmlandgraph?
Bill Gates wouldn't survive innature.
(53:03):
I say we release Bill Gates backinto the wild and see how long
he lasts.
SPEAKER_02 (53:14):
Uh it would not.
SPEAKER_12 (53:16):
Would not.
It's just the usual worldlybanter, cut each other down kind
of routine.
Where's the weeping or thepraying?
If you're gonna bring up BillGates and you're gonna discuss
all that, then where's thefasting and praying for Bill
Gates?
The weeping for him.
He's got a lot to pay for onmultiple levels.
(53:36):
We all know that.
This is this is just going toharden him against anything.
In fact, he's at best gonna notpay attention to it.
At worst, it's just gonna hardenhim because Russell Brand claims
to be a Christian.
So, for that matter, so does umwho's the InfoWars guy?
Alex Jones.
Alex Jones.
Alex Jones.
Yeah.
Um, so let's go to Jude verse 23and see if the clothing that
(54:01):
Russell Brand wears is areflection of that and his
attitude.
You gotta understand how how wedress and how we have our hair
is a reflection of what's in ourheart, and it also transfers out
to our behavior.
You know, if I see someone witha shirt that has a marijuana
leaf on the front of it andtheir jeans kind of hanging low,
(54:23):
and they've got a keychain with,I don't know, what a dooby
holder or whatever they call it,right?
What what would I assume, Jacob?
They're a pothead.
They're a pothead.
That's what I would assume.
And that's reasonably so.
Never mind.
That's why Satan screams as loudas he can.
Don't judge by outwardappearance and all that kind of
thing.
Jude verse 23, it says, snatchothers from the fire and save
(54:44):
them.
If you're going to talk aboutBill Gates, or for that matter,
anybody, then you need toconsider, well, how do I snatch
them from the fire?
You're gonna have to reach intothe fire and grab them.
It can be a very painfulexperience to try and save
someone.
It's not an easy thing.
Snatch others from the fire.
Some people you can't snatch, but for those that the Holy
Spirit tells you to go for, you're gonna get burnt.
(55:06):
You're going to feel the heatand the fire.
With many of these kinds ofpeople, it's not an easy kind of
like just come to church, comedown forward, ask Jesus in your
heart, and everything's fine, oryou want to clean up your life
and get rid of your drugs andyou know help everybody get
along and all those things andbe blessed like ten lepers, but
only one comes back to praiseGod.
But the other nine go on toenjoy their life.
That's not snatching others fromthe fire and saving them.
(55:28):
Am I clear on that?
Do I need to be build on that alittle bit more?
Uh it's clear to me.
All right, that's good enoughfor today.
To others show mercy.
But what does it say, Jacob?
Mixed with fear.
Mixed with fear.
SPEAKER_02 (55:44):
You see that in the
church?
No.
No one's afraid in the church.
No, but they certainly talkabout mercy, don't they?
They do talk a lot about mercy.
SPEAKER_12 (55:52):
Come be forgiven.
Oh, you know, I hate a strongword.
I drive by a church that saysJesus loves you, this I know.
Okay, that's not mixed withfear.
Correct.
Jesus loves you, this I know.
You better repent because you'regonna burn forever in hell if
you don't accept the love.
That's the message.
But I'm not even up to the pointthat I'm trying to get to.
Russell Brand needs a haircutand a new wardrobe and a new
(56:16):
creation that's calmer and atpeace by the grace of God and by
picking up a cross.
Read the next part of whatRussell Brand should be living.
SPEAKER_02 (56:27):
Hating even the
clothing stained by corrupted
flesh.
SPEAKER_12 (56:32):
Hating the clothing
stained by corrupted flesh.
Need I say more on that?
The white open shirt, chung offthe muscles, leopard pants or
leopard shorts.
SPEAKER_02 (56:45):
Leopard shorts.
SPEAKER_12 (56:46):
Whatever yeah,
whatever that was.
Whatever that was.
Um that doesn't ring of hatingeven the clothing stained by
corrupt flesh, does it?
No.
There's no foundation beinglaid.
I mean, none whatsoever.
In fact, really just a trap.
You'd be better off not claimingto be a Christian and just going
on your merry way than to thinkyou're a Christian and do this.

SPEAKER_12 (57:47):
Jacob, do you know
who Jelly Roll is?
SPEAKER_02 (57:50):
I do.
Tell me a little bit about him.
What do you know?
Uh he is a rapper who was inprison.
He is married to a bad lady.
And then I think what we'regoing to talk about is I'm
pretty sure he claims to be aChristian, I guess.
He talks about God sometimes.
(58:11):
Didn't he go to the Dove Awards?
The Dove Awards, yes.
He was, yeah, there was thislike controversy thing.
He was at the Devil Warbs hubbubbinit up on stage with I'm
using air quotes, Christians.
So he very much then claims tobe a Christian, right?
Or is Dove awards now invitingpure pagans up there?
It's I think somewhere in themiddle.
(58:32):
And the only reason I say thatis because I don't actually
know.
Again, he talks about Jesus orwhatnot, but he I've I ne until
the Double Ward thing, whichwas, I think, pretty recently, I
never knew he was supposedly, you know, yeah, like like, you
know what I mean?
Like saying he's a Christian oror or that kind of image.
He would talk about God, butnever like, oh, I'm a Christian
(58:52):
too.
SPEAKER_12 (58:54):
In short, he's the
country and Western singers who
claimed about God, Jesus, mygirlfriend, breakups and all
that stuff.
Is that what you're saying?
That's what you're saying.
I'm not saying you're right orwrong.
I just mean that's your take.
See, my take on it is that heclaimed to be, of course, I'm
out of the loop that he claimedto be this Christian, wrote this
Christian song, Doves Give Himan Award.
So he he really had the stamp ofapproval that he is a Christian.
SPEAKER_02 (59:16):
Well, I don't know.
You know more than me.
I didn't even know it was aChristian song.
I th he was a worldly rapper.
I mean, he he he's literallythat's his roots is rapping, as
in like rap at, you know.
SPEAKER_12 (59:29):
Okay, well, let's do
a check because that's just my
impression, but I can't go typeGrok and ask if Jelly's a
Christian.
Jelly Rolls a Christian.
Okay, hold on a second.
I gotta I gotta go there.
I think I looked it up, but youknow, I the truth is they mix
all the I'll keep talking here.
They they mix all this stuff up.
Do they claim, not claim, inbetween claim?
I don't know.
(59:49):
The the real question is notwhether you claim to be a
Christian, but whether Jesusclaims you.
SPEAKER_02 (59:55):
Oh no, here you go,
it's copping up.
Uh the answer is yes.
SPEAKER_12 (01:00:00):
Okay, good enough.
Then we can let's move forwardthen and play jelly there and
let's talk about what he'ssaying.
SPEAKER_01 (01:00:08):
Jelly Roll has
reached a critical moment during
his music tour.
While on the Australian leg ofhis tour, the country artist
expressed that he is currentlyexperiencing one of the most
challenging times in years, farfrom his family and support
network.
The 40-year-old, whose real nameis Jason Bradley DeFord, spoke
openly during an episode of theNo Filter with Kate Lambroke
(01:00:33):
podcast, describing how thedistance took a toll on him in
unexpected ways.
I'm falling apart.
It's been a terrible week.
I'm not doing well mentally.
The worst I felt in a long time, shared the artist known for I Am
Not Okay.
Jelly Roll performed a series ofsix shows in Australia from
(01:00:53):
October 25th to November 4th,marking his first tour in the
country before he was set toconclude with a concert in
Auckland, New Zealand, onNovember 8th.
However, he had to cancel theAuckland performance at the last
minute due to health problems,an uncommon situation for him.
On the podcast, Jelly Rollelaborated that his physical
(01:01:16):
health issues significantlyimpacted his mental health as he
continued with the demandingtour schedule.
He revealed that his overseastrip had messed up my stomach,
explaining that these healthchallenges quickly affected his
overall well-being.
When my stomach isn't right, nothing feels right.
My mind isn't clear, everything's off, he remarked.
(01:01:39):
The singer confronted his lowestpoint in years while in
Australia, sharing revealingdetails about his health
struggles and longing for familysupport.
He also mentioned that thelogistical aspects of touring
Australia, particularly theabsence of tour buses,
intensified his feelings ofisolation.
(01:02:00):
I'm having to be reallyisolated.
It's not enjoyable, he admitted.
I miss my family dearly.
He noted that he was employingbreathing techniques to manage
his anxiety and talking myselfthrough the sickness, but
confessed that every part of himcraved a return to Tennessee.
(01:02:23):
Everyone wants to go home whenthey're unwell.
That's just natural, he stated.
I just don't feel good.
So I want to go home.
The demanding tour also includedanother distressing moment
during his travels.
Jelly Roll recently recounted anincident where employees at a
Louis Vuitton store in Sydneytreated him like a criminal
(01:02:44):
while he was shopping, sharingthe experience through a video
on social media.
He described how the staffregarded him as if he were about
to rob the store.
Hey man, the Louis Vuitton inSydney literally treated us like
we were going to rob the place.
The musician, donning a backwardbaseball cap, explained in the
footage.
I've never been looked at moresuspiciously.
(01:03:07):
The last time I had such looks,it was back when I was involved
in actual criminal activities.
SPEAKER_12 (01:03:15):
You want to weep?
Yeah.
Going he looks like a criminal.
He looks like a criminal.
SPEAKER_02 (01:03:21):
He was a criminal.
SPEAKER_12 (01:03:23):
He was a criminal.
He has that behavior.
He has the tattoos, and some ofthose tattoos he got after
becoming a Christian.
I looked it up anyway.
That's what they said.
So, yes, if he walked in a storewith his entourage, which I'm
assuming kind of dresses likehim or whatever, I would assume
(01:03:44):
I'm going to be robbed.
I'd be on my guard.
Yes.
Now you'll notice he said thatwhen his stomach's not right,
he's not right.
Man, what gospel?
There is no gospel to this.
Read Philippians 3.19.
Jacob, he talks a lot about, youknow, my stomach's not right.
I'm not right.
(01:04:05):
I'm alone.
You know.
There's so many things thatwhere's scripture?
Where's God?
Where's Jesus Christ?
It's nowhere in this.
Philippians 3.19, Jacob.
Go ahead and read that.
And this is Jelly Roll's answer.
This is what his problem is.
He needs to let God deal withhis sin.
SPEAKER_02 (01:04:25):
Go ahead and read
it.
Their destiny is destruction.
Their God is their stomach, andtheir glory is in their shame.
Their mind is on earthly things.
I couldn't say it any clearer.
SPEAKER_12 (01:04:39):
It's pretty solid.
Yes.
Their destiny is destruction.
It's obvious that he's not beenborn again.
He's not a Christian.
He shouldn't claim to beChristian.
In fact, he's going to be judgedfor singing Christian songs
while not being a Christian.
Their destiny is destruction.
Their God is their stomach, andtheir glory is their shame.
(01:05:00):
Their mind is on earthly things.
And that's just one aspect ofwhat we're looking at here.
He goes, I'm falling apart.
It's a horrible week.
I'm doing the worst mentally Ihave done in a long time.
I am not okay.
Man, at best it's a scream forhelp.
(01:05:22):
At worst, who are the falseprophets and teachers that are
informing this guy?
Where is there no cracking overin the Bible?
You know what?
Turn the hat around right ortake the hat off.
I know he recently just shavedhis beard, but it had nothing to
do with the gospel.
He said he was doing it becausepeople would look at him because
he's fat and he's good.
He's just trying all kinds ofdifferent outward things.
(01:05:45):
But he's still a criminalagainst God because he will not
repent.
But let's get on to the mainthing is that he misses his
family.
He wants to go back toTennessee.
You can tell this is an idol.
This is huge.
This is why Jesus said if you'regoing to follow him, you have to
hate your father and yourmother, your brothers and your
(01:06:06):
sisters, and yes, even your ownlife.
That's why 1 John says, do notlove anything in the world,
which would include the state ofTennessee.
This world's going to be burnedup.
It's going to be judged to claimthat you want to.
Look, I don't feel at homeeither.
But my home that I want to go tois in heaven.
Yeah.
(01:06:27):
There's nothing in this earththat I go, well, I want to live
there, or I miss this, or I onlymiss heaven.
I only miss seeing the face ofGod.
There's nothing, absolutelynothing in this world that
attracts me.
There's an old hymn that saysthe things of this world go
strangely dim.
They do if you fall in withJesus Christ.
(01:06:48):
But that's any comment before weactually look at our final
scripture here and move on?
No.
Let's go to Ephesians chapter 3,verse 12.
And you, as we're going to playthe clip here, just listen to
the scripture.
This is what jelly roll ismissing.
And I don't know who's teachingthis man and who's presenting
(01:07:08):
the gospel.
I don't he's sitting alone inhis hotel by himself, and all
he's doing is wallowing inself-pity.
What about being alone with God,cracking your Bible and getting
on your knees, weeping over yoursins, crying out to God that you
have this loneliness that's asin, and you have all of this
(01:07:30):
judgmental against other peoplewho are looking at you
realistically who you are.
You need to wear a shirt thatsays, I'm no longer a criminal
anymore.
I'm a Christian.
Clean up your face, cover thetattoos as best you can.
Let Jesus Christ give you a newcreation that reflects the joy
from the inside, and you havethat smile on your face and that
(01:07:51):
confidence that comes from God.
Or if you're weeping and sadabout your sins, you have hope
in all of that.
Yeah, yeah, I know.
The governing authority is goingto come for you, but it's worth
it.
Let's play Ephesians 3 12 andthen let's talk about it a
little bit.
SPEAKER_10 (01:08:07):
Ephesians 3 12
through 21.
In him and through faith in him,we may approach God with freedom
and confidence.
I ask you, therefore, not to bediscouraged because of my
sufferings for you, which areyour glory.
For this reason I kneel beforethe Father, from whom his whole
(01:08:31):
family in heaven and on earthderives its name.
I pray that out of his gloriousriches he may strengthen you
with power through his Spirit inyour inner being, so that Christ
may dwell in your hearts throughfaith.
And I pray that you, beingrooted and established in love,
(01:08:53):
may have power together with allthe saints, to grasp how wide
and long and high and deep isthe love of Christ, and to know
this love that surpassesknowledge, that you may be
filled to the measure of all thefullness of God.
Now to him who is able to doimmeasurably more than all we
(01:09:18):
ask or imagine, according to hispower that is at work within us,
to him be glory in the churchand in Christ Jesus throughout
all generations, forever andever.
Amen.
SPEAKER_12 (01:09:35):
Amen indeed, Jacob.
There's an look at what he'smissing.
He either doesn't want it, heeither just wants the world and
you know, self-pity, likes towallow in self-pity, and you
want people just you don't wantto repent or give everything up
to God.
So this may be a futileconversation.
But jelly roll, this is whatyou're missing in him, and
(01:09:57):
through faith in him, we mayapproach God with freedom and
confidence.
Freedom and confidence.
Now, there's a good chance Goddoesn't even want you on tour,
so you're probably way off trackeven touring around.
But we can't go there.
Verse 13, I ask you thereforenot to be discouraged because of
my sufferings for you, which areyour glory.
(01:10:18):
There's going to be sufferingsif you're going to follow Jesus
Christ.
Believe me, I know what I'mtalking about.
For this reason I kneel beforethe Father, kneel, from whom his
whole family in heaven and onearth derives its name.
You have to understand there aretwo families in this world.
There is the family of God, andthere is our earthly family.
(01:10:38):
The earthly family is controlledby the evil one.
That's right.
Little old grandma, who's livedher whole life, not really a
Christian, or even claiming tobe a Christian many times, is
under the control of the evilone, influenced by the evil one.
That doesn't mean you hate themin a worldly kind of way.
It doesn't mean you try to dothem evil or, you know, look
down on.
This means you are filled with alove for them.
(01:11:01):
Did you catch that, ProsecutorSimmons?
It's a love for them.
In fact, scripture will go on tosay that here just shortly.
But there are two families, andyou have to decide which family
you want to be a part of, orrather, your life and your
obedience or like of obedienceto the living God is going to
determine which family you areassigned to.
But there is a family of God.
(01:11:22):
In this world, I have brothersand sisters around the world.
I have a sense of family all thetime, even though it's not my
physical family, my DNA family.
For this reason, I kneel beforethe Father, from whom his whole
family in heaven and on eartharises name.
I feel a sense of family inheaven.
(01:11:43):
I'm never alone.
I live alone, but I'm neveralone.
Verse 16, I pray that out of hisglorious riches he may
strengthen you with powerthrough his spirit in your inner
being.
Nothing about what you have saidshows that the power of God is
moving in your life.
But you'd have to learn to beobedient to the Holy Spirit,
(01:12:05):
which, like I said, is going tobe giving up fame, is going to
be giving up touring.
All of your friends are going todisappear.
You're going to wind up morealone than you probably have
ever been before.
But you will never feel alonebecause you're part of the
family of God that is in heavenand earth.
Verse 17, so that Christ maydwell in your hearts through
(01:12:27):
faith.
To have this is to have Jesusdwelling, living in there, in
our hearts.
He's doing the work, he'sbringing the love, he's bringing
the comfort, he's bringing thepower.
He's also bringing thesufferings of being crucified.
It says, being rooted andestablished in love.
And I pray for you, Paul says, being rooted and established in
(01:12:51):
love.
Everything that is done is doneby the power and the love of
Jesus Christ.
The world won't look at it thatway.
You'll have evil judgespersecute, prosecute.
You'll have old sociologicalprofessors who don't have
anything else better to do thanto slam Christianity out of
California.
(01:13:11):
Like we already know that's aproblem.
But you will be rooted andestablished in love for all of
those people.
Any comments so far, Jacob, before we wrap things up?
No.
All right, let me read 20 and21.
Now to him who is able to doimmeasurably more than all we
(01:13:34):
ask or imagine.
You could just meditate on thatfor a year.
I can ask a lot, and I canimagine a lot, and he will do
more than that.
(01:13:55):
According to his power that iswork at work within us.
And there's the key.
Only according to his power thatis at work within us.
Translation, you have to obeythe Holy Spirit.
You have to surrender to theHoly Spirit.
You have to surrender to thegrace of God.
You have to actually allow Godto put a cross on your back, to
(01:14:16):
walk a narrow road after walkingthrough a narrow gate.
And as you mature and as yougrow, to the degree that you're
emptied of yourself and your sinwill be according to his power
that he can work within us.
That's why you want to grow.
That's why you want to keeppressing on.
No wonder Paul says in verse 21,To Him be glory in the church
(01:14:39):
and in Christ Jesus throughoutall generations, forever and
ever.
This is a glorious, gloriouspromise, and you're wallowing in
self-pity and your old sinfulnature in a hotel room by
yourself, being judgmental aboutthose who judge you correctly by
(01:15:03):
your appearance.
To him be glory in the churchand in Christ Jesus through all
generations, forever and ever.
Amen.
Amen.
