Proverbs 26-26.
His malice may be concealed bydeception, but his wickedness
will be exposed in the assembly.
Pathological liars can createsignificant disruption within
the church.

With the rise of the Internet,these deceitful individuals can
easily organize themselves,leading to widespread
manipulation at an alarmingrate.
It is, therefore, not surprisingthat the evil one would align
these individuals with God'sfaithful in order to stir up
persecution against those wholove the truth.

Nothing produces more combatthan a man who has the truth in
the inmost part and pathologicallies.
Psalm 516 shows us the prayer ofa righteous man.
Surely you desire truth in theinner parts.
You teach me wisdom in theinmost place.

This true story illustrates howsome people are incapable of
recognizing their falsehoods andstubbornly cling to their lies
at a level comparable to thepathological lie.
Consequently, one should neveranticipate complete success in
disproving these fabricationsunless the person repents with

Such individuals are preciselythe kind that Seattle's King
County and other prosecutorsexploit for their own selfish
interests.
As Jesus declared in John 8 44,you belong to your father, the
devil, and you want to carry outyour father's desire.
He was a murderer from thebeginning, not holding to the

truth, for there is no truth inhim.
When he lies, he speaks hisnative language, for he is a
liar and the father of lies.
How to deal with pathologicalliars.
Such liars are only revealedwithin the community, church, or
ministry when such are gatheredbefore the Lord.

Pathological liars manipulateeach person individually,
tailoring their deceptions foreach specific individual to
deceive, control, and take evilaim at their audience of
influence.
Thus, when these individualsgather with others they have
deceived, it allows for theexposure of the multi-level

lies.
Such individuals thrive onmeeting new individuals because
these new acquaintances areunaware of the danger.
You will often see these liarsin the public arena, such as
marketing, politics, legaloccupations, financial advisors,
and ministry.
This allows the pathologicalliar an unlimited supply of

individuals to fool.
That is, they can feed theirsinful lusts to lie on a
never-ending pool of freshvictims.
At Sound Doctrine Church, theseliars were presented before the
congregation in hopes of leadingthem to repentance.
This is the hope and the powerof walking in the light.

See 1 John 1 7.
Several of these pathologicalliars were identified at Sound
Doctrine Church over thedecades, but unfortunately, they
resisted and hardened theirhearts against repentance.
Thus, they leave the church withfresh lies, preying on those
ignorant of the real situations.
If you are suffering due to suchliars, do not try to confront

them individually to expose thelies or to learn the truth on
your own.
As you will see in the movieShattered Glass, it is very
difficult to unseat lies once aperson has accepted those
falsehoods.
After all, the person would haveto humble themselves and admit
they were taken in.
It is only through the power ofGod in a communal setting that

there is any chance ofuncovering the lies.
Only in this way can each memberreveal to the group the lie or
lies they were told.
Proverbs 26-26.

This is why God warns, in nouncertain terms, that even

listening to a false witness maycost a person heaven.
Listening to such lies, orfailing to repent of having
listened to these pathologicalliars, will cost you eternal
life.
Those who are false witnessesand those who listen to them
will be destroyed forever.
So says the living God.
Proverbs 21, 28.

destroyed forever.

The Burden
The Burden is a documentary series that takes listeners into the hidden places where justice is done (and undone). It dives deep into the lives of heroes and villains. And it focuses a spotlight on those who triumph even when the odds are against them. Season 5 - The Burden: Death & Deceit in Alliance On April Fools Day 1999, 26-year-old Yvonne Layne was found murdered in her Alliance, Ohio home. David Thorne, her ex-boyfriend and father of one of her children, was instantly a suspect. Another young man admitted to the murder, and David breathed a sigh of relief, until the confessed murderer fingered David; “He paid me to do it.” David was sentenced to life without parole. Two decades later, Pulitzer winner and podcast host, Maggie Freleng (Bone Valley Season 3: Graves County, Wrongful Conviction, Suave) launched a “live” investigation into David's conviction alongside Jason Baldwin (himself wrongfully convicted as a member of the West Memphis Three). He and a protege swore they would build an empire on blood. Then the relationship frayed and the protege accused Calvin of a double homicide which he claimed he didn’t do. But did he? Award-winning journalist Steve Fishman spent seven years to answer that question. This is the story of one man’s last chance to overturn his life sentence. He may prevail, but someone’s gotta pay. The Burden: Empire on Blood is the director’s cut of the true crime classic which reached #1 on the charts when it was first released half a dozen years ago. Season 1 - The Burden In the 1990s, Detective Louis N. Scarcella was legendary. In a city overrun by violent crime, he cracked the toughest cases and put away the worst criminals. “The Hulk” was his nickname. Then the story changed.
