Hey everyone, and welcome back to “The Conversation Network”. This week, we’re goin’ across the pond y’all to catch up with my dear friend and Beyonce enthusiast, Alex Weaver. Y’all, I spent so much of this episode in stitches because I was laughing so hard at Alex’s one-liners, she drops them when I’m least expecting. She shares with us her experiences as both a new mother and a military mother, and the challenges that she faced when pregnant with her son, Max, during the pandemic while her husband was deployed.
Now that her little man is getting older and is developing his own social schedule, she talks about the importance of finding the balance between being a mother, a military member, and rediscovering her own identity and taking time for herself. And of course, no conversation with my Queen Alex is complete without a full Beyonce breakdown, and we talk about our favorite songs and what they mean to us. I had so much fun catching up with her, and I hope you enjoy this episode.
