What else can I say other than I'm incredibly grateful for 50 episodes and for Dessa's appearance!? Well, let me start by telling you a little about my guest. Dessa was born Margret Wander in Minneapolis, Minnesota and had her come up as a creative with the indie hip hop collective, Doomtree. Since then, in addition to work within Doomtree, she has gone on to release five solo albums, a handful of EPs, a number of singles, and a concert recording with the Minnesota Orchestra (Sound The Bells). An accomplished writer and speaker, she has been seen on Ted Talk, heard on various interviews and podcasts, and on her own podcast with the BBC called Deeply Human.
