29: Kill It All For A Like Supreme

It’s show time. Bringing Samurai back together for one more gig, it’s time for V to get the plan in motion. Brian and Liz discuss meeting Nancy (Bess Isis) to do her thing to find the time and place, while Kerry tries his best to reconcile with bandmates who have a somewhat dramatic past (toxic relationship vibes). Johnny attempts (and succeeds) to make this Kerry’s night to reignite a lost spark and possibly, to make amends for being such a dick 50 years ago.

Key Points

• Cement Trucks & Pools Don’t Mix: Kerry gets bass player, Henry, out of rehab and the first thing he does is trash Denny’s pool. That’s a sight for sore eyes and cringing ears. At least you get a cool baseball bat out of it.
• The Red Dirt: The gig happens in a hole-in-the-wall bar, but maxes out in capacity—the people still love Samurai! And…it blows Kerry’s mind.
• Stand-in For Johnny: Take the pill and let Johnny take control, and it gives V one hell of a performance, and one last gig for Johnny, too.
