Season 1 Episode 1: Introduction to Coupled Podcast with Dr. Jenn and Dr. Nari
In this first episode, we are covering why we started the Coupled Podcast, our friendship, introduction of each of us, and some of the trends in our couples (infidelity, disconnection, struggles with communication, balancing work and family life).
Dr. Jenna and Nari are the Licensed Marriage and Family Therapists behind Coupled. On today’s episode, they introduce themselves, discuss why they started Coupled two years ago and what their business is all about!
Jenna owns a private practice where she works with individuals, couples, and families. About half of her caseload is individual and the other half couples/families. She loves working with premarital couples, same sex couples, parents, and affair recovery. She’s seen couples across the lifespan (from college age to couples in their 80s). Nari also owns a private practice working with individuals, couples, and families. While she loves working with all couples, she especially likes helping people transition through marital changes like divorce, remarriage, and blended families. Her website is www.drnarijeter.com
The two are ready to shake up the world of couples therapy and want to extend resources beyond the couples they see in their private practices!
